Some People Will Believe The Gospel, Some Will Not

Acts 28:23-28, “And when they had appointed him a day, there came many to him into his lodging; to whom he expounded and testified the kingdom of God, persuading them concerning Jesus, both out of the law of Moses, and out of the prophets, from morning till evening. And some believed the things which were spoken, and some believed not. And when they agreed not among themselves, they departed, after that Paul had spoken one word, Well spake the Holy Ghost by Esaias the prophet unto our fathers, Saying, Go unto this people, and say, Hearing ye shall hear, and shall not understand; and seeing ye shall see, and not perceive: For the heart of this people is waxed gross, and their ears are dull of hearing, and their eyes have they closed; lest they should see with their eyes, and hear with their ears, and understand with their heart, and should be converted, and I should heal them. Be it known therefore unto you, that the salvation of God is sent unto the Gentiles, and that they will hear it.”

Today I was listening to Alexander Scourby read the book of Acts from the insoired King James Bible. As I listened this text passage from Acts 28:24-28 caught my attention, particularly Acts 28:24, “And some believed the things which were spoken, and some believed not.” This is so typical of humans. The Bible says in verse 23 that Paul expounded the Word of God (from Moses to the prophets) from the MORNING until the EVENING (8-12 hours), persuading them to BELIEVE on the Lord Jesus Christ.

 Some of them believed and were saved, but tragically some of them still didn't believe and remained lost in their sins. I am reminded of the Lord's own words to the two men which He walked alongside travelling on the road to Emmaus in Luke 24:25-27, “And certain of them which were with us went to the sepulchre, and found it even so as the women had said: but him they saw not. Then he said unto them, O fools, and slow of heart to believe all that the prophets have spoken: Ought not Christ to have suffered these things, and to enter into his glory? And beginning at Moses and all the prophets, he expounded unto them in all the scriptures the things concerning himself.” Anyone who is slow to BELIEVE the Gospel is a FOOL.

All of these stupid stiffnecked pastors today who errantly preach that you must "repent of your sinning" to get to Heaven are guilty of preaching another gospel. They are Gospel perverts!

I'm talking about that gospel pervert Pastor Jeff Redlin at Pensacola Christian College's Campus Church. I'm talking about gospel pervert Dr. Peter S. Ruckman (1921-2016). I'm talking about gospel pervert Dr. John MacArthur (1939-2025). I'm talking about gospel pervert Pastor Bobby Moffett at the corrupt Family Baptist Church in Pensacola. These brutish religious leaders are pulling on the same rope as the Devil, corrupting God's free grace by adding human effort to "repent of your sins" to be saved. FOOLS! I didn't say that, God did!

I marvelled today as I listened to Alexander Scourby (1913-1985) read the book of Acts (written by the Apostle Dr. Luke). The Apostle Paul taught the Scripture to these Jews from morning until evening concerning Jesus, the Christ, but at the end of the day many still weren't convinced by THE TRUTH. Paul ends the day by quoting Isaiah 6:10 to the Jewish group...

Isaiah 6:10, “Make the heart of this people fat, and make their ears heavy, and shut their eyes; lest they see with their eyes, and hear with their ears, and understand with their heart, and convert, and be healed.”

What does this mean? God knew that the Jews wouldn't listen to the prophet Isaiah. Paul was aware of this sad fact. Jesus said the Jews refused to listen to any of the Old Testament prophets, just as most refused to heed His warning. Matthew 23:31-33, “Wherefore ye be witnesses unto yourselves, that ye are the children of them which killed the prophets. Fill ye up then the measure of your fathers. Ye serpents, ye generation of vipers, how can ye escape the damnation of hell?” The old adage is true: “Like father, like son.” And another adage: “The apple doesn't fall far from the tree.” That's some pretty powerful preaching from Jesus' (God's) own lips, and a damning indictment against the corrupt religious leaders of the Jews. No matter how much we share the Gospel, pray and labor to persuade unbelievers to come to Jesus Christ, most simply won't (Luke 13:23-24). The truth most often falls upon deaf ears, blinded eyes and hardened hearts.

That being so, God still wanted Isaiah (and all Bible preachers) to preach THE TRUTH, knowing that it will just harden their hearts further. The old adage is true: “The same sun that melts the wax hardens the clay.” Likewise, the same truth that melts one sinner's heart will harden the heart of another. Only God knows why this is so. Regardless of whether people heed THE TRUTH or not, it must be proclaimed to this lost and dying world of sinners.

I found it interesting that even after listening to Paul expound them with the Word of God all day long, they still refused to BELIEVE. John 5:40, “And ye will not come to me, that ye might have life.” God has always been faithful (1st Corinthians 1:9, 10:13). 2nd Timothy 2:13, “If we believe not, yet he abideth faithful: he cannot deny himself.”

Even today in the world, very few Jews are Christians. In Palestine and Israel, approximately 2% of all Arabs and Jews alike profess any faith in Jesus as the promised Messiah (the Christ). BOTH ethnic groups desperately need the Lord Jesus Christ, which is why there is so much resentment, hatred, relentless bloodshed, and lack of human compassion in The Middle East. God is not a respecter of persons and He loves Jews and Arabs the same (Acts 10:34; Romans 2:11; Colossians 3:25). The Lord will not be partial in His judgment in eternity. Your sins have either been cleansed by the blood of Jesus and you've been born again (1st Peter 1:18-23); or else you will die in your sins and split Hell wide open someday (John 8:24; Revelation 14:11, 20:11-15, 21:8). The choice is yours alone to make dear friend.

The Unsaved Man's Journey To Find The Truth

2nd Corinthians 4:3-6, “But if our gospel be hid, it is hid to them that are lost: In whom the god of this world hath blinded the minds of them which believe not, lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine unto them. For we preach not ourselves, but Christ Jesus the Lord; and ourselves your servants for Jesus' sake. For God, who commanded the light to shine out of darkness, hath shined in our hearts, to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ.”

I was thinking this morning about how hard it is for the unsaved person to find the light of the truth of the saving Gospel. Our text passage from 2nd Corinthians teaches that the Devil deliberately BLINDS unbelievers to hinder them from being born again. Jesus said the thief (Satan) comes only to kill, steal and destroy (John 10:10). 1st Thessalonians 2:18, “Wherefore we would have come unto you, even I Paul, once and again; but Satan hindered us.” The Devil blinds lost people with religion, worldly philosophies, family tradition, the pride of life, sin, evolution, et cetera. Satan works relentlessly to hinder the work of God.

Luke 11:52, “Woe unto you, lawyers! for ye have taken away the key of knowledge: ye entered not in yourselves, and them that were entering in ye hindered.” A “lawyer” in the New Testament was not the same as attorney's today. Bible lawyers were religious ones, experts in the Mosaic law of Moses. The Law given by God to Moses in the Old Testament was the law that was used to govern Israel. A “lawyer,” therefore, was an expert or scholar of the Mosaic Law. Jesus indicted those wicked lawyers, for perverting the Scriptures, failing to recognize Him as the promised Messiah that Moses spoke of. John 7:19, “Did not Moses give you the law, and yet none of you keepeth the law? Why go ye about to kill me?”

The wicked religious Jewish lawyers were against Jesus. John 5:45-46, “Do not think that I will accuse you to the Father: there is one that accuseth you, even Moses, in whom ye trust. For had ye believed Moses, ye would have believed me: for he wrote of me.” They trusted in Moses instead of Jesus to save them, which is NOT how you get to Heaven. Moses could not save anyone, not even himself. Nowhere in the inspired Holy Bible does it teach to put your faith in Moses to be saved. John 14:6, “Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.” John 6:47-50, “Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me hath everlasting life. I am that bread of life. Your fathers did eat manna in the wilderness, and are dead. This is the bread which cometh down from heaven, that a man may eat thereof, and not die.” Jesus plainly declared that He is the Bread of Life.

There is only one true Gospel. Galatians 5:7, “Ye did run well; who did hinder you that ye should not obey the truth?”

1st Thessalonians 2:18, “Wherefore we would have come unto you, even I Paul, once and again; but Satan hindered us.” Tragically, if you research the various different religions, and attend several different Baptist churches, you will hear umpteen different conflicting plans of salvation, but the inspired Holy Bible warns that there is ONLY ONE Gospel. 1st Corinthians 15:1-4 defines “the gospel” as three things:

1. Jesus DIED on a cross to pay our debt of sin.
2. He was BURIED.
3. Christ resurrected from the dead three days later.

1st Corinthians 15:1-6, “Moreover, brethren, I declare unto you the gospel which I preached unto you, which also ye have received, and wherein ye stand; By which also ye are saved, if ye keep in memory what I preached unto you, unless ye have believed in vain. For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures; And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures: And that he was seen of Cephas, then of the twelve: After that, he was seen of above five hundred brethren at once; of whom the greater part remain unto this present, but some are fallen asleep.”

The old adage is true: Repetition is the key to learning. That is why I often preach in my blogs on the same topics, primarily anything pertaining to salvation, because it is so important. There is nothing in this universe more important than knowing that your name is written in the Lamb's Book of Life, settled in your soul regarding where you will spend eternity. Thankfully, by God's grace, I KNOW beyond any shadow of a doubt that I am born again. I know I am 100% saved because I am trusting only Jesus Christ, who is the only begotten (biological) Son of God.

I have placed all my apples in one basket, so to speak. If I go to Hell someday, it will be Jesus' fault alone, because I am totally relying upon Him, because of what He accomplished through Calvary's cross to pay my debt of sin. As a 13 year old boy in Chicago, I trusted Jesus as my personal Savior one Sunday morning from a church pew. I received His sacrificial death on the cross as full-payment for my sins, believing that He was buried, but then miraculously raised up from the dead three days later. I came to God as a needy sinner, and by faith I simply believed on His only begotten Son, trusting that Jesus did it all for me on the cross. My faith is only in the precious blood of Jesus. The life that I choose to live, and the sins which I have wilfully committed since I got saved, and my church activity and lack thereof, have absolutely NOTHING to do with going to Heaven. I am the SINNER; Jesus is the SAVIOR.

As I stated earlier, I began to ponder this morning about how difficult it is for the unsaved person to find the light of the truth of the Gospel. I feel sorry for the lost man, woman or child who stumbles into the Roman Catholic cult, where  one is deliberately discouraged from reading the Holy Bible. The unsaved person in Catholicism is lied to by wicked priests, told that they must keep Seven Sacraments to get to Heaven. No such trash is taught in the Word of God. Catholicism is a prisonhouse of religion!

Perhaps I pondered this topic this morning because today is the infamous day of Mardi Gras (“Fat Tuesday” in French) in New Orleans, when Catholics indulge in an orgy of sin and debauchery, and then go confess to their demonic priests tomorrow on Ash Wednesday. How wicked!!! I love all Catholic people, sincerely, but I vehemently HATE the accursed Catholic religion that has damned billions of souls to the Lake of Fire for eternity (Revelation 20:11-15). Sacramental Salvation cannot produce the required new birth by the Holy Spirit (John 3:1-7). If you are a Catholic dear reader, kindly said, you had better repent (change your mind) to CEASE from trusting in your sacramental works, and instead REST completely in the name of Jesus Christ alone and His crucifixtion, burial and resurrection to save you (Romans 1:16; 1st Thessalonians 4:14). Simply BELIEVE that Jesus did it all for you!

Over one billions lost sinners have been BLINDED by Satan to think that some wicked Roman or Orthodox Catholic priest can save them. I tell you truthfully that the Pope is not the vicar (presence) of God on earth; the Pope is THE VICAR OF HELL!!! The Pope calls himself “El Papa” but he dresses like El Mama. What a religious phony! There is NO salvation in the Catholic religion!!!

Then I thought this morning about the 22,000,000 poor souls who've been sucked into the Seventh-Day Adventist cult, with their Satanic Lordship Salvation heresy.

I also thought this morning about the 9,000,000 Jehovah's Witnesses around the world—a dangerous religious cult that denies Jesus' deity, denies the Godhead, denies that Jesus physically resurrected from the dead, denies that Hell is a literal place, and requires forsaking your sinful bad habits to be saved (sadly the same as most perverted Baptist churches today also teach). Pensacola Christian College teaches this damnable heresy! False doctrine concerning salvation has crept into nearly all religious schools, missions and churches today.

Then there are the secretive Mormons—a Masonic despicable religious cult of 17,000,000 followers based upon the sex perverted teachings of Joseph Smith (1805-1844). Smith was eventually lynched by an angry mob because of his illicit relations with several dozen women, all done in the name of God and religion. Remember, in the eyes of a wicked person anything can be justified. The wicked Jews in the Old Testament were committing adultery, theft, idolatry and murder, claiming that they were all doing God's will (Jeremiah 7:8-10). Some of the most heinous evils in history have been unjustly done in God's name. Adolf Hitler claimed to be doing God's will during the Holocaust, while murdering innocent people. President George W. Bush claimed to be doing God's will, while he ruthlessly murdered 2,300,000 innocent Iraqis. Nobody is doing “God's will” who is committing acts of unspeakable evil (James 1:13-14).

I could go on and on, mentioning the names of well-known religious cults, false religions and heretics. The Churches of Christ comes to mind, who have about 2,000,000 members worldwide. This cult errantly requires that you forsake your sinful bad habits to be saved, which is works, not grace. Churches of Christ also foolishly require water baptism to get to Heaven, which is a counterfeit plan of salvation that absolutely cannot produce the required new birth. And for that matter, so also do Catholics, Mormons, Jehovah's Witnesses and Lutherans (according to Martin Luther himself) require water baptism to be saved, which proves that they are NOT saved at all. RIGHT DOCTRINE MATTERS!!!

I feel sorry for the unsaved man who is searching for the truth. He is confused and like the popular 1980 song by Johnny Lee, “Looking For Love,” the unsaved man is oftentimes looking for truth in all the wrong places. He goes to the Catholic church and is introduced to ritualism and worshipping idols. He goes to the Mormon church and is shown Masonic ceremonies and taught a damnable counterfeit plan of salvation. Then he goes to the Seventh-Day Adventist cult and is errantly taught that he must keep the Ten Commandments to prove that his faith is genuine or else he is not saved (by the way, this is the same tommyrot that Bob Jones University teaches today). To attack the Gospel of free grace is to attack the God of grace. Please RUN from these dangerous false religions and cults!!!

I remember reading that famous television actor, Jackie Gleason (aka, “The Great One“”), was infatuated with the afterlife before he died in 1987. Sadly, from listening to Mr. Gleason in a 60-Minutes interview, in which he said he didn't think that God would send him to Hell for committing one sin, I don't think he died in the Lord. According to James 2:10, committing even one sin is the same as breaking all of God's commandments. The reason why is because even one sin is all it takes to disqualify anyone from entering into Heaven. Dear reader, you don't have to be good to get to Heaven, you must be 100% perfect! Since no human being other than Jesus has ever lived a perfect life (Hebrews 4:15), we need a Savior. That is why God sent His only begotten Son into the world, so that He could di in our place on the cross. By trusting Christ to save you, God the Father imputes (counts) Christ's righteousness to you by faith (Romans 4:4-7, 10:3-4; Philippians 3:9). If you are saved, God doesn't see your sins anymore, He only sees Jesus' righteousness! I speak of one's POSITION in Christ. Our CONDITION is a separate matter entirely, which does not affect our salvation. Remember, eternal life is the free gift of God, received by faith, paid for by Jesus' precious blood (1st Peter 1:18-19). Some critics of “Easy-Believism” like to call this “cheap grace,” but in fact, it is free grace. It is free to you and me, because it cost Jesus His life.

Having said all that, the inspired Holy Bible teaches that the grace of Gold that brings salvation has appeared to ALL MEN (i.e., every human being). Titus 2:11, “For the grace of God that bringeth salvation hath appeared to all men,” I don't claim to understand how this works. Pastor Max D. Younce (1935-2023) wrote an enlightening article titled: 'Is God Unfair To The Heathen?' Dr. Younce teaches that if a heathen in the remote jungles of some remote place on earth has a desire to learn the truth, God is obligated to send them more truth. But if they reject the light which they already have, then God is not obligated to give them more light. I agree with Pastor Younce in this matter of spiritual enlightenment.

I haven't even mentioned all the wacky charismatic false prophets and health, wealth and prosperity heretics; namely: Pat Robertson, Joyce Meyer, Joel Osteen, Steven Furtick, Benny Hinn, Peter Popoff, Joel Osteen, Oral Roberts, Bill Hamon, Jim Bakker and countless more phonies, cons and charlatans. Their damnation slumbereth not. That is, they are already damned, it's just a matter of time until their day of reckoning arrives. With all these crooks, liars and fraudsters, it is no wonder why millions of lost sinners today won't have anything to do with the churches. Frankly, I don't blame them one bit. But sadly, if they only knew THE TRUTH about how normal, fair and honest our God is, they would quickly come to receive His only begotten Son as their personal Savior. Please don't let religion hinder you from coming to Christ dear friend. Your eternal destiny depends on it!

I had a friend when I was growing up, whose mother hated churches. She often spoke of the crazy nuts in churches in her home town, who passed around snakes to see who was right with God. It's hard to believe that there are still wacky cults like that today, who masquerade as churches. I cannot blame lost sinners for avoiding churches when they see insane stuff like that. But sadly, the only ones who will suffer are the people who refuse to come to Jesus. What saith the Scripture? John 5:40, “And ye will not come to me, that ye might have life.” Carefully notice that Jesus didn't say you cannot come to Him; but rather, “ye will not come to me.” Whether or not someone comes to Christ is solely up to the individual, and no one else. NO ONE can keep you out of Heaven dear reader, except YOU! Believe and be saved!!! John 6:47, “Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me hath everlasting life.”

I humbly believe that if any man, woman or child sincerely desires THE TRUTH, they can find it. God has made a way for men to find and know the truth. It doesn't take a skilled theologian to see that something is very wrong with the Roman Catholic religion. The Bible forbids idolizing men. Jesus forbade calling priests “Father” in reverence (Matthew 23:9), yet that is exactly what the Catholic cult does! The Bible warned that false prophets would come forbidding marriage and eating meats (1st Timothy 4:1-3), yet that is exactly what the Catholic cult does! And there are many further proofs that Catholicism goes totally contrary to the inspired Word of God (Matthew 15:8; Mark 7:9).

I have briefly focused on the evils of Roman Catholicism, but I could just as easily expose thousands of false manmade religions!

Most Americans FALSELY consider Mormons, Roman Catholics, Jehovah's Witnesses, Churches of Christ, Seventh-Day Adventists, Lordship Salvation Baptists, Lutherans, Unitarian Universalists, United Methodists and other pseudo-Christian cults as being "Christian," but in reality NONE OF THEM are Christian. All of these false religions, which add up to over 100 million Americans, falsely think they are Christians but are hellbound infidels. Only born again believers who trust in Jesus Christ alone apart from all works are truly saved.

In addition, the biggest names in evangelicalism today (e.g., Joel Osteen, T.D. Takes, Joyce Meyer, Pat Robertson, Beth Moore, James Dobson, Adrian Rodgers, Billy and Franklin Graham, Chip Ingram, Jimmy Swaggert, Charles Stanley, John MacArthur, Ray Comfort, Robert Jeffress, Jack Chick, William P. Grady, Sam Gipp, Keith Gomez, Pensacola Christian College, Bob Jones University, Unshackled, Paul Washer, Ken Ham, Todd Friel and countless other infidels) all preach a counterfeit plan of Lordship Salvation which requires turning (or being willing to turn) from your sinful bad habits to be saved (this is WORKS). With this tragic reality in view, the United States clearly pretends to be a Christian nation, but it is NOT. Satan's greatest weapon is to con people into living the Christian life without ever being born again. Jesus died on the cross to pay for our sins. Thus, eternal life is a free gift from God. The Bible does NOT require that you first be willing to reform to receive that gift.

Let the inspired KING JAMES BIBLE be your guide. Jesus commanded us to 'SEARCH THE SCRIPTURES' in John 5:39. If you want to discover THE TRUTH, then read and study and abide in the inspired Holy Scriptures!!!

Soul Winners Will Shine In Heaven As The Stars

Daniel 12:3, “And they that be wise shall shine as the brightness of the firmament; and they that turn many to righteousness as the stars for ever and ever.”

The Holy Bible says that Christian believers who “TURN MANY TO RIGHTEOUSNESS” will shine as the brightness of the stars in the universe for ever and ever. The Bible doesn't say anything about professional sports athletes shining. The Bible doesn't say anything about musicians shining. Nor does the Bible say anything about religious leaders shining in eternity. The Bible doesn't say anything about hard-working people with booming businesses shining in eternity. The Bible doesn't say anything about Christian nurses shining in eternity.

The Bible doesn't say anything about Christian politicians shining in eternity. The Bible does say anything about Christian missionaries shining in Heaven. Nor does the Bible say anything about Christian pastors or full-time Christian workers shining in Heaven! People who make a living off of Christianity aren't going to be the ones who shine up in Heaven throughout eternity; but rather, “they that turn many to righteousness” (Daniel 12:3b).

...THEY THAT TURN MANY TO RIGHTEOUSNESS!!!

Only those faithful believers who turn many to the righteousness of God through faith in Jesus Christ will shine. In order to get into Heaven someday a person must be absolutely 100% perfect. Since no one can live up to God's perfect holy standard (Romans 3:23), we all need someone else to pay four our ticket to Heaven. That is what Jesus Christ did for us on the cross, through His death and the precious blood that He shed for our sins (Romans 5:9), and His burial and bodily resurrection as our High Priest (Romans 8:34; Hebrews 4:15-16).

Thus, we are literally saved by God's righteousness (Romans 10:3-4). The righteousness of God is what the Gospel teaches! Philippians 3:9, “And be found in him, not having mine own righteousness, which is of the law, but that which is through the faith of Christ, the righteousness which is of God by faith.” There is no other way into Heaven apart from God's imputed righteousness through faith alone in the only begotten Son of God, Jesus Christ. John 20:31, “But these are written, that ye might believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God; and that believing ye might have life through his name.”

The wicked world honors ungodly people foolishly, but they WON'T shine for five seconds in eternity. Hebrews 11:6 teaches that only by faith can God be pleased. The Communist kooks, adulterous athletes, sensual celebrities, liberal loonies, leftist losers and all the hordes of Hollywood Hell, won't shine for 5-seconds in eternity. When this earthly life is over, all that will matter is if you “DIE IN THE LORD” (Revelation 14:13) and went to Heaven, or “DIE IN YOUR SINS” (John 8:24) and went to Hell. All Christ-rejecters will spend eternity burning mercilessly in the Lake of Fire, which Revelation 20:6 says burns with fire and brimstone. Revelation 14:11 says, “they have no rest day nor night, who worship the beast and his image, and whosoever receiveth the mark of his name.”

Only What's Done for Christ Will Last

Every born-again believer will be judged according to their earthly works. The Holy Bible says that our “works do follow” us into eternity. Revelation 14:13, “And I heard a voice from heaven saying unto me, Write, Blessed are the dead which die in the Lord from henceforth: Yea, saith the Spirit, that they may rest from their labours; and their works do follow them.” One of my favorite soulwinning MP3 sermons is by Evangelist Lester Roloff (1914-1982) called, “What Are You Laboring For?” What are you laboring for dear friend? Are you laboring for money? Are you laboring for a nice home? Are you laboring for a big retirement fund? Are you laboring for the material things of this temporary world.

Listen carefully friend to the admonition from God in 1st John 2:15-17, “Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world. If any man love the world, the love of the Father is not in him. For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh, and the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life, is not of the Father, but is of the world. And the world passeth away, and the lust thereof: but he that doeth the will of God abideth for ever.” Everything that you see around you will one day be gone! Everything that you see around you on this planet will someday return to the dust from which it came. The court houses and all the court records will be gone. The prisons will be gone. The hospitals will be gone. The churches will be gone. Nothing will remain!

In fact, the Bible teaches in 2nd Peter 3:10-12 that God will burn the earth over with fire to renovate it, to cleanse it of all the filth! All the works of mankind will be burned up and gone forever! All of your favorite Hollywood movies will be gone forever! All of the musical recordings of your favorite singers and bands will be gone forever! Nothing will remain except the treasures that believers laid up in Heaven (Matthew 6:19-20), and most of all, the people saved because we witnessed the Gospel (Good News) of Christ crucified, buried and risen to them.

Daniel 12:3, “And they that be wise shall shine as the brightness of the firmament; and they that turn many to righteousness as the stars for ever and ever.”

There is no greater task in the world than witnessing the Gospel to lost sinners. The average person is not saved. In fact, I'd guesstimate worldwide that only .001% (one in every 1,000 people) are born-again!!! There are an estimated 1,600,000,000 (1.6 billion) Muslims in the world who are unsaved Christ-rejecters! There are an estimated 1,000,000,000 unsaved Roman Catholics, who are trusting the sacraments of the Catholic Church to save them. There are another estimated 600,000 Christ-rejecting Buddhists! There's 127,368,088 people living in Japan. Yet, less than 1-in-200 profess Christianity (005%).

Most of the world's population are going to Hell, “Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it” (Matthew 7:13-14). You see, the world is always searching for answers (2nd Timothy 3:7, “Ever learning, and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth”), but Satan has provided many substitutes for the Gospel to blind and deceive people (2nd Corinthians 4:4). Revelation 12:9b, “...that old serpent, called the Devil, and Satan, which deceiveth the whole world.” It is our duty as born-again believers to preach to the lost, to show them THE TRUTH of the Gospel which Satan has kept from them.

C.S. Lewis: The Devil's Favorite Deception

In 2005 Dave Mustaine, frontman of the band Megadeth, refused to perform on stage with the openly satanic Greek band, “Rotting Christ.” That's like a Jehovah's Witness refusing to share a platform with a Roman Catholic because of their corrupt religious beliefs (since both of those religious groups are of the Devil). Dave Mustaine claims to be a Christian, but he's not fooling everyone. His recent album “Th1rt3en” was finished on 31313 (March 31, 2013). The album contained 13 songs. There are 13 lit candles on the album cover.

It had been 13 years since Megadeth recorded their last track, “Silent Scorn.” Dave Mustaine is serving the Devil, and is still fulfilling his lifetime contract with the Illuminati. Mustaine sold his soul to work evil. Many people think Mustaine is a true Christian, but I have yet to hear him provide testimony that evidences faith in the Gospel. Mustaine said on The Alex Jones Show that the use of the number 13 was pure coincidence. You're a fool of fools if you believe that! 13 is the number of rebellion, death, chaos and anarchy!

I've said that to mention another big phony, C.S. Lewis! A lot of Christians are misled and confused about C.S. Lewis, who was equivalent to the Rick Warren ecumenical sellout of his day. The Bible teaches that to praise the wicked is a sign of apostasy. Proverbs 28:4, “They that forsake the law praise the wicked: but such as keep the law contend with them.” Clive Lewis praised the Catholic religion much in his later life, although he was a bit critical in his youth. Lewis changed for the worse. J.K. Rowling, the wicked woman who authored the Harry Potter series to introduce children into witchcraft, calls C.S. Lewis her favorite author. That speaks volumes against Mr. Lewis. The reason why is obvious, that is, because Lewis was the perfect shill, a compromiser, who fooled many evangelicals into following him, while at the same time Lewis was influencing them to tolerate and eventually embrace false religion.

Instead of being a soul-winner and turning many to righteousness, C.S. Lewis was famous the world over for being a religious schmuck!!! Don't take my word for it, here's an article from The Catholic Herald, praising C.S. Lewis for coming so close to being a Roman Catholic. Here's another article titled, 6 Reasons Why Mormons Love C.S. Lewis! I could show you many other articles from various religious denominations, who all loved and praised C.S. Lewis for his ecumenical apostasy. Rick Warren has taken Billy Graham's place, who took C.S. Lewis' place as the Balaam (prophet for hire) of our time. Although C.S. Lewis influenced tens-of-millions of people during his lifetime (and still today), it is plainly evident to the spiritually discerning Christian that Lewis never led even a single person to Jesus Christ.

When C.S. Lewis speaks of “faith in Christ,” he includes unsaved Catholics, Mormons, the apostate Church of England and every heathen religion. Lewis sought for “common ground” between all religions, that he could use to justify accepting everyone, regardless of their doctrinal differences. Consequently, unbelievers were given false hope, and the true Biblical Gospel that excludes all forms of self-righteousness was hidden. Lewis has much blood on his hands. Mormons love him! Catholics love him! Remember that Satan himself is transformed into an angel of light, and so are his ministers of unrighteousness (2nd Corinthians 11:13-15). Satan's primary character traits are being an accuser (Revelation 12:10), a murdering liar and thief (John 10:10), and a deceiver (Matthew 7:15).

C.S. Lewis was loved the most by Satan, because he published tons of religious literature, confusing fiction with non-fiction, further confusing an already confused world. As I've researched the writings of Lewis, I've found nothing but a bunch of eloquent religious quotes which amount to really nothing. Every hellbound Roman Catholic and Mormon believes in faith in Christ. There is nothing more dangerous spiritually to the churches than vague, obscure, wishy-washy, undefined usage of terms and teachings concerning the doctrine of Jesus Christ. Lewis attempted to present Scriptural truth under a cloak of pagan mythology in order to give it popular appeal, and in so doing confused the reader, preventing people from ever seeing the light of the Gospel.

That's why J.K. Rowling praises Lewis as her favorite writer and mentor. Miss Rowling does the same thing, confusing children's minds to discern between fact and fiction, while making sure they don't see the glorious light of the Gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ. In Satan's kingdom of darkness, he who deceives others the best is king. C.S. Lewis is a superstar amongst apostate evangelicals and heathens alike, and that's how the Devil likes it. If a deadly wolf can put on sheep's clothing and dupe Christians to follow his teachings and advice, then the Devil can kill, steal and destroy with ease.

Ecumenicalism Is An Enemy Of Soul-Winning

Everything that I have just shared with you about C.S. Lewis falls under the evils of Ecumenism, which is the promotion of better cooperation between the various religious denominations, at the expense of contending for the faith, moral convictions and preaching the Gospel accurately. No one is going to fraternize with their enemy and maintain a stronghold against them. As born-again Christian believers, the Bible plainly teaches separation between believers and unbelievers...

2nd Corinthians 6:14-17, “Be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers: for what fellowship hath righteousness with unrighteousness? and what communion hath light with darkness? And what concord hath Christ with Belial? or what part hath he that believeth with an infidel? And what agreement hath the temple of God with idols? for ye are the temple of the living God; as God hath said, I will dwell in them, and walk in them; and I will be their God, and they shall be my people. Wherefore come out from among them, and be ye separate, saith the Lord, and touch not the unclean thing; and I will receive you.”

As born-again Christians, we have a responsibility to preach the Gospel (Good News) that Jesus died on the cross for the sins of everyone (2nd Corinthians 4:3), and He was buried, and then after three days bodily resurrected (1st Corinthians 15:1-4). 1st Corinthians 9:16, “For though I preach the gospel, I have nothing to glory of: for necessity is laid upon me; yea, woe is unto me, if I preach not the gospel!” It is tragic when a professed Christian singer (and I could name hundreds), becomes famous and has millions of fans, but they refuse to share the Gospel with those fans. The blood of each and every one of those fans will be on their hands if they are truly saved. We have a responsibility to witness the Gospel to others. 2nd Corinthians 4:3, “But if our gospel be hid, it is hid to them that are lost.”

Let's All Get Busy Soul-Winning

I didn't write this article to scold anybody; but rather, to encourage you to get busy sharing the Gospel with others. At a minimum, we can all plant seeds by passing out Gospel tracts. Every believer ought to be soul conscious, that is, concern about the eternal destiny of their soul. Are you on your way to Hell? Do you know for certain if you died right now that you would go to Heaven? You can know for sure (1st John 5:13). I KNOW THAT I AM SAVED. I know because salvation is not conditioned upon my goodness, but upon God's goodness.

I know that I am saved because I have God's PROMISE that He saves those who believe the Gospel. 1st Corinthians 1:21, “For after that in the wisdom of God the world by wisdom knew not God, it pleased God by the foolishness of preaching to save them that believe.” That's the only way to be saved. God will not save anyone who is trying to be saved, He will only save those who are trusting to be saved. Salvation is not doing your best, it is having Christ's best put to your account through receiving Him by faith. If you admit that you are a sinner and receive the Gospel as payment for your sins, you are saved.

Will You Shine As The Brightness Of The Stars, Or Wish That You Did?

I wrote this article because I was thinking recently about all the frivolous, meaningless and wasteful temporal things that people invest so much time, money and resources in, which will amount to absolutely NOTHING in eternity. It won't matter how many football games you watched or played throughout your life. It won't matter in eternity how much earthly wealth you amassed. None of that will mean a hill-of-beans then. It won't matter in eternity how talented you were, or how many friends you had.

It won't matter when you stand before God how successful you were in the world's eyes. It won't matter how many people you impressed with your razzle-dazzle fancy guitar picking. People spend their lives exercising their body, but they still have to die. People spend their lives trying to get ahead. They divorce in pursuit of a better marriage. They save every dollar they can for an earthly future that is guaranteed to end. No one ever took a single penny with them into eternity. Our culture trains youth to get the most they can out of this temporal life, through greed, lust and competition; but there is no concern nor preparation for eternity.

If you believe the Holy Bible, then you ought to count the cost of not being a disciple of Jesus Christ. You don't get saved by discipleship. Eternal life is a free gift that you simply receive by childlike faith in the Gospel. Then, after you're saved, there's a second decision that God wants you to make, to follow Jesus as His disciple. Salvation is free, but discipleship costs us the pleasures of sin and worldliness. Salvation, once received, cannot be lost; but discipleship can be lost. Salvation is dependant upon God's faithfulness, but discipleship is dependant upon the believer's faithfulness. Few people understanding this distinction, which is why the heresy of Lordship Salvation has invaded the churches, confusing Salvation with Discipleship.

I promise you, those of you who are Christians and don't care about soul-winning, that you will hate yourself in eternity. When you see Christians like me (and I say this humbly by God's grace alone) relishing in the presence of thousands of souls who were saved through my soul-winning efforts, and you had no souls saved at all. You will feel ashamed. I have received innumerable “Thank you!” e-mails over the years, from people who said they found the Lord Jesus Christ and were saved through my website ministry. Of course, I cannot save anybody, God does that. Albeit, the Scriptures teach that without a preacher no one will hear the glad tidings of the Gospel, so how can they be saved...

Romans 10:13-15, “For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved. How then shall they call on him in whom they have not believed? and how shall they believe in him of whom they have not heard? and how shall they hear without a preacher? And how shall they preach, except they be sent? as it is written, How beautiful are the feet of them that preach the gospel of peace, and bring glad tidings of good things!”

If you are saved, then you have God the Father and God the Son living inside you as God the Holy Spirit. This is called the “indwelling” of the Holy Spirit. The Bible calls this Triune nature of God, the “GODHEAD” (which all of the new satanic counterfeit Bible versions remove from Acts 17:29, Romans 1:20 and Colossians 2:9 - Only the King James Bible contains this important theological word). Beware of the new plethora of fake Bible version, which Satan has unleashed upon the churches under the disguise of being “new, better and more accurate” Bibles, but in reality they have caused utter confusion and rejection by today's youth. Thank God for the trustworthy and inspired King James Bible!!!!!!!

I give the Lord all the credit for any good accomplished by my frail human labors. It is the Holy Spirit working through me that makes the difference. I sometimes read some of my older articles and recognize that it was the Holy Spirit working through me, because I could never figure out those great truths on my own. PRAISE THE LORD!!! To God be the glory, great things HE HATH DONE!!! The Lord plainly said that without Him we can DO NOTHING! John 15:5, “I am the vine, ye are the branches: He that abideth in me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit: for without me ye can do nothing.” Most churches today are doing everything in their own human strength. Although there might be religious converts, there are no souls born-again by the Spirit of God. That is, they have churchianity without Christianity as Pastor J. Vernon McGee (whom I admire) used to say.

I've heard some Bible teachers identify the “fruit” of John 15:5 as the fruit of the Spirit, but I think it means much more. I think the Bible is referring to souls saved, as evidenced by Matthew 13:8, “But other fell into good ground, and brought forth fruit, some an hundredfold, some sixtyfold, some thirtyfold.” And of course, a desire to win souls is part of the fruit of the indwelling Holy Spirit. Matthew 13:8 Scripture refers to Jesus' parable of the sower and the seeds. The “seed” is the Word of God (Luke 8:11). The Lord said that believers with “an honest and good heart” (Luke 8:15), will take heed and bear much fruit. This does not mean that we can win anyone to the Lord in our own strength; but rather, the Lord can work through a surrendered vessel to lead others to Him, through the witnessing of the Gospel.

It Will Be Worth It All When We See Jesus

Perhaps one of the greatest compliments I have ever received was from a web visitor who said, “Thank you for allowing God to do all this through you” (referring to my website ministry). I was greatly humbled at first. Who am I to limit the God of the universe if I chose not to allow Him to work through me? But friend, that is exactly what we are doing if we do not yield to the leading of the Spirit of God by obeying the written Word of God. 2nd Corinthians 10:5, “Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ.” This one Scripture alone eliminates 95% percent of our wicked American culture, which exalts itself against a holy God.

Friend (I am being your friend), this life is an illusion, because it is not even a blip on the screen of eternity. Everything that you see around you will be gone in time. Unsaved people realize this truth, but since they lack faith in the Holy Bible, they choose to live life to the fullest. However, as Christians we do have faith in the Word of God, the very seed by which we were born-again (1st Peter 1:23), and so we choose to live our life for eternal results. So we see that our view of eternity directly affects how we live now on earth.

Like I said earlier, I dare say 1-in-10,000 people are saved. I've known religious people all my life who claimed the name of Christ, but clearly only had a dead form of religious devotion. This is exactly what the Lord said in Matthew 7:21-23 and Luke 13:23-24. Many shall seek to enter into Heaven, but few shall be able. You need God's righteousness friend, not your own! This is one of the hardest truths for man to grasp, because by nature we feel that we must impress God to satisfy His holy demands. Neither you nor I can impress God (Isaiah 64:6). The only thing that impresses God is when we trust upon the Son of God, Jesus Christ.

All of the fame, money and success in this temporal world ends at the grave. In this wicked, selfish and warped world of sin—all of the overpaid professional sports athletes, Noble Prize winners, idolized media celebrities, singing sensations and Hollywood actors—are big losers in Heaven's eyes. No one is a true success in life unless they fear God and obey His commandments. Ecclesiastes 12:13, “Let us hear the conclusion of the whole matter: Fear God, and keep his commandments: for this is the whole duty of man.” Do you fear God? Do you keep His commandments dear reader? God knows that we are incapable of being perfect, but we ought to at least try. Matthew 5:48, “Be ye therefore perfect, even as your Father which is in heaven is perfect.” The word “perfect” in the Greek is in the linear, which means “to be being perfect.”

In other words, God knows that we cannot live a perfect life, but He wants us to keep trying with His help. The Bible teaches that Jesus lives the Christian life through us. Galatians 2:20b, “I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me.” I earnestly long for the day in eternity when God rids me of this cursed flesh (2nd Corinthians 5:1), and I am given a new glorified body fashioned like unto the Lord's resurrected body (Philippians 3:21). But until that blessed time, I CAN live right at any given time by yielding to the indwelling Holy Spirit, in obedience to the inspired Word of God. 2nd Corinthians 10:5, “Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ.” Anyone can obey God if they want to, and for the unsaved person it must begin with believing the Gospel!

In sharp contrast, the ungodly world couldn't care less about living right to please God. The wicked person does what “feels good,” with little or no regard for God nor man. They just don't want to get into trouble with the law! That is why when there is a breakdown of social order during times of natural disaster or war, wicked people commit all manner of evil. What evil crimes would you commit if you could and get away with it? As believers, we should desire to live as perfect a holy life as possible, motivated by our love for the dear Savior Who gave His life for us on the cross. Revelation 4:11, “Thou art worthy, O Lord, to receive glory and honour and power: for thou hast created all things, and for thy pleasure they are and were created.”

Time Is Running Out!

I often feel inadequate when I write articles, grasping for words to express what I desire to say. I deliberately avoid fancier complicated words, to keep it simple. I want to place the cookies on the bottom shelf, so-to-speak, so that even a child can understand what I am teaching from the Bible. I try to be a porcupine preacher, so that everyone will GET THE POINT! Amen!

I heard Pastor Steve Anderson preaching the other day in his excellent video on New World Order Bible Versions. In the video he says that a lot of people didn't like the Amplified Version of the Bible because IT WAS TOO LOUD! It took me a minute to figure that one out, but I thought that was pretty funny. The Bible tells us in Revelation 12:12, “Therefore rejoice, ye heavens, and ye that dwell in them. Woe to the inhabiters of the earth and of the sea! for the devil is come down unto you, having great wrath, because he knoweth that he hath but a short time.” Time is short friend. If you've been following world events, you know that the Illuminati (Satan's architects of the New World Order) are working relentlessly to destroy national borders, sovereignty, individualism, parental authority, Christianity, honest capitalism, faith in God and all barriers of race, religion and culture. This is all necessary for the Devil to create a world system friendly to receive the Antichrist. It is happening!

Satan is already working night-and-day to corrupt the churches, bring chaos to the world, destroy our liberties and eliminate the traditional family. It is tragic that the average Christian believer is asleep spiritually, sitting back while the Devil changes our Bibles and churches. It is rare that a church goes bad by itself. What we are seeing in America today is the systematic dismantling of the churches. Satan fully knows that churches seek pastors from the Bible universities. So if I were the Devil, I'd try to corrupt the Bible colleges and religious institutions that train preachers. That's why I call them preacher's “cemeteries” instead of seminaries.

Moody ministries prints all of Dr. John MacArthur's books. MacArthur says children can't be saved, Jesus' blood is not on the mercy seat in Heaven, it will cost a person everything to be saved, and that Jesus didn't die for everyone (limited atonement). APOSTASY!!! Thousands of pastors have been duped to idolize and follow MacArthur, simply because he is popular on radio stations nationwide, publishes hundreds of books, and Moody all but worships him at their annual Founder's Week.

In short, the Devil is using influences like MacArthur, Joyce Meyer, Pat Robertson, Rick Warren, Joel Osteen, Ray Comfort, Paul Washer, John Piper and Max Lucado to corrupt the churches. They all PERvert the plan of salvation! Satan has introduced a demented message in our churches today that says eternal life is a gift, but you have to clean-up your behavior to receive it. It's called Lordship Salvation. What a contradiction! The aforementioned false prophets say some wonderful things, but they all support the counterfeit Bible versions and add human effort to the Gospel! Anyway, don't get me started preaching against these yardbirds or I'll never stop typing!

I will close with our opening thought. The Holy Bible says that Christian believers who “TURN MANY TO RIGHTEOUSNESS” will shine as the brightness of the stars in the universe for ever and ever throughout eternity. The true measurement of our success in life won't be how many people show up to say goodbye at our funeral, but how many people are waiting to greet us when we get to Heaven! Amen! Although it is true that we cannot take anything temporal out of this world with us when we die, we can send it ahead by getting people saved and serving Jesus Christ (Matthew 6:19-21).

Infamous Gangster Al Capone May Be In Heaven

The most notorious American gangster in history is Al Capone (1899-1947). He began his reign of crime and mayhem as the infamous Chicago mob boss at just age 25. His reign of terror would endure for the next 7 years, until the IRS would catch up with him for tax evasion.

At age 33 in 1932, Al Capone was sentenced to 10 years in prison, but the incarcerated former gangster only served 7 of those years due to his failing health because of the deadly Sexually Transmitted Disease (STD) of syphilis. His brain had been rotted so badly, that he now had the mentality of a child between ages 7 and 12.

During Capone's prison time in the early 1930s, doctors diagnosed his health condition, which included syphilis, gonorrhea, and a cocaine-perforated septum (the cartilage that separates the right and left nose cavities). Capone's health was a nightmare! The Devil is a beautiful liar! Satan always pays with counterfeit money. Sin always thrills until it kills. Sin always fascinates until it assassinates.

History tells us that a Baptist minister preached to Al Capone and the other inmates in prison, and it is said that Mr. Capone found religion.

We can only hope that Al Capone trusted Jesus Christ while in prison and became born again. Time will tell. That is, we'll learn the truth in the afterlife. I sure hope Al's up in Heaven. It is interesting, and I think telling and precious, that Mr. Capone's epitaph on his gravestone doesn't read: "The World's Greatest Gangster"; but rather, "My Jesus Mercy." Amen.

But If Our Gospel Be Hid

2nd Corinthians 4:1-4, “Therefore seeing we have this ministry, as we have received mercy, we faint not; But have renounced the hidden things of dishonesty, not walking in craftiness, nor handling the word of God deceitfully; but by manifestation of the truth commending ourselves to every man's conscience in the sight of God. But if our gospel be hid, it is hid to them that are lost: In whom the god of this world hath blinded the minds of them which believe not, lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine unto them.”

I thought about this Scripture passage today, and how it relates to the False Bibles, Misunderstood Repentance and Lordship Salvation evils which are being taught in most churches today. Tragically, this includes most Baptist churches as well. When you see any church advertising that they preach “Reformed Theology,” run for the hills because it means they preach deadly Calvinism!

Dear reader, if you are caught up into the Devil's deceptions of Misunderstood Repentance, Calvinism, Lordship Salvation and/or Sacramental Salvation, you are NOT saved. The modern corrupt Bibles are teaching these heresies. You cannot be born again through those counterfeit things. The “Gospel” is the Good News that Jesus died on a cross to pay for our sins. He was buried. And three days later he physically resurrected from the dead. What saith the Scripture?

1st Corinthians 15:1-6, “ Moreover, brethren, I declare unto you the gospel which I preached unto you, which also ye have received, and wherein ye stand; By which also ye are saved, if ye keep in memory what I preached unto you, unless ye have believed in vain. For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures; And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures: And that he was seen of Cephas, then of the twelve: After that, he was seen of above five hundred brethren at once; of whom the greater part remain unto this present, but some are fallen asleep.”

Anyone who comes to God as an admitted hell-deserving guilty sinner (you need to know why you need to be saved, and what you're being saved from), and believes (put your trust, reliance) in the GOSPEL is saved instantly, irrevocably and permanently. Nothing more is required nor allowed by God to go to Heaven. Eternal life is a FREE GIFT (Romans 5:15-18).

You don't need to forsake your sinning to be saved, nor even be willing to turn away from your sinful bad habits. That would be works! Christ came into the world to die for your sins on the cross, to pay your debt of sin with His precious blood (1st Peter 1:18-19). All that God the Father asks to get to Heaven, is for you to simply BELIEVE that Jesus did it all for you!

John 3:16, “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.” Listen to this one minute excerpt from Pastor Ralph Yankee Arnold's tremendous sermon, “Calvinism Is Works Backloaded.” There's nothing in John 3:16 about turning from your sins, being willing to turn from your sins, following Christ as the Lord and Master of your life, keeping sacraments, living a lifestyle of repentance, doing good works, joining some religion or anything else to get to Heaven. Jesus (who is God almighty) simply told us to BELIEVE IN HIM. John 3:16, “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.”

It is tragic that most churches today are hiding their Gospel, because they don't have the Gospel correct, they are propagating a perversion of God's grace instead. Remember that deadly rat poison is only 1% poison, the other 99% is good wholesome food that a human could safely eat. Satan knows that if he can change the Gospel even slightly, he has successfully hindered anyone from being saved. Satan's greatest weapon is to con people into living the Christian life without ever being born again.

Just these three religious institutions combined influence tens of millions of people. Yet, tragically and to their utter shame, they all corrupt God's simple plan of salvation, adding works to grace to hinder people from coming to Christ to receive the new birth. BUT IF OUR GOSPEL BE HID, the Bible says it is HID TO THEM THAT ARE LOST!

The Catholic prisonhouse of religion influences over ONE BILLION people...

• The Roman Catholic religion is hiding the Gospel

A lost sinner cannot be saved from a counterfeit plan of salvation. In Matthew 7:21-23 we read about a group of false prophets who were devout followers of Christ. They boasted of having done “many wonderful works.” They boasted they had “cast of devils.” They called Jesus “Lord, Lord,” but the dear Savior denied knowing them as His sheep. Wow! So, from this remarkable passage of Scripture we learn that it is possible to live the Christian life without ever being born again, and end up in Hell forever.

Please read Acts chapter 10 sometime about Cornelius, an Italian centurion. The Bible says he “feared God with all his house.” Cornelius tithed, gave alms to the poor, fasted and prayed to God. Yet, he was NOT saved. So, again we learn from the inspired Scripture that it is possible to live the Christian life without ever being born again. Thankfully, later in Acts 10:43-44 Cornelius did get saved through faith in Jesus.

All across the world today billions of people are mistakenly trying to live the Christian life to get to Heaven. They are foolishly trying to outweigh their bad deeds without some good deeds. They partake of ineffective to save religious rituals. Some of them foolishly confess their sins to an unsaved Catholic priest, thinking that some sinful man can redeem them. They've all been lied to by the father of all liars, the Devil (John 8:44). Nothing can substitute for the new birth. Jesus said in no uncertain words, “Ye must be born again” (John 3:7b).

Carefully notice the phrase from our text passage, “nor handling the word of God deceitfully” (2nd Corinthians 4:2b). Those false teachers today (e.g., John MacArthur, Joel Osteen, Steve Pettit, Marty Herron, Jeff Redlin, Timothy Zacharias, Ray Comfort, Kirk Cameron, Paul Washer, Beth Moore, Joyce Meyer, Todd Friel and Franklin Graham) who preach another gospel are mishandling the inspired Word of God. Most of them don't even use the right Bible, and the few that do pervert it! They are deceitfully handling the Word of God, for which God will punish them in eternity. Proverbs 19:9, “A false witness shall not be unpunished, and he that speaketh lies shall perish.”

It Is Easy To Share The Gospel

Colossians 4:5, “Walk in wisdom toward them that are without, redeeming the time.”

In our text passage, the phrase “them that are without” refers to lost sinners. They do not understand the things of God, that is, the truth about spiritual things (1st Corinthians 2:14-16). The greatest way that we can walk in wisdom is to share the Gospel with the lost.

Last night I had the privilege to share the Gospel with one of my neighbours. I use a passive method to share the Gospel, where I don't put the other person under any pressure. I don't make them uncomfortable or put them on the spot to make a decision. All they need to do is listen to me, the way it should be I humbly think.

In fact, if you read Acts chapter 10, you'll see that the Apostle Peter never put Cornelius on the spot to get saved. Peter simply told Cornelius and his friends the GOOD NEWS of Jesus Christ crucified, buried and risen. Acts 10:43-44, “To him give all the prophets witness, that through his name whosoever believeth in him shall receive remission of sins. While Peter yet spake these words, the Holy Ghost fell on all them which heard the word.”

Galatians 3:2 helps shed some light upon the meaning of this passage, “This only would I learn of you, Received ye the Spirit by the works of the law, or by the hearing of faith?” When a person trusts Christ as their personal Savior, the Holy Spirit of God forever comes in to indwell (to live inside) that individual (Romans 8:9; 1st Corinthians 3:16-17; 1st John 3:24). Cornelius and his friends were indwelt with the Holy Spirit because they BELIEVED the the Gospel truth which Peter preached unto them, and they were saved. The beautiful phrase “the hearing of faith” simply means that we get saved when we BELIEVE the Gospel that we hear preached unto us (cf. Hebrews 4:1-2).

Regardless of what the conversation is about, I can easily lead into a Gospel presentation by simply mentioning how good our God is, and that opens the door to share the Gospel. When I witness to someone, I'll say something like the following words:

We're living in very interesting times. The news is getting crazier every day. I am so glad that I know I'm going to Heaven when I die. The Bible teaches that it is very easy to go to Heaven. We don't have to go to church. We don't have to get water baptized. We don't have to keep the Seven Sacraments of the Catholic Church. All we need to do is BELIEVE that Jesus died on the cross to pay for our sins, and that He was buried, and then three days later He physically resurrected from the dead. Those three things comprise the Gospel. Jesus DIED, He was BURIED, and He physically RESURRECTED from the dead three days later. That is the Gospel, which in the Bible means, GOOD NEWS. Anybody who comes to God as a guilty sinner and puts their trust (reliance) in that GOOD NEWS of Jesus crucified, buried and risen is instantly and forever born-again, a child of God.

Without asking them a single question, I have just presented the Gospel, giving them instructions how to obtain eternal life. I don't ask them if they believe what I told them, because that is their own personal decision, which is none of my business. I have provided all the facts that they need to know in order to get to Heaven, all they have to do is BELIEVE IT!

And also to mention, I am fairly good at sizing up people. I already knew my neighbor's temperament from speaking with him previously over the past year. If I just met someone, I might not be as bold to start preaching the Gospel to them. In such a case I will use wisdom and discernment to decide if it is the proper time to witness to them. For example: My doctor is a very intelligent and educated woman. I felt in my heart that because she is busy, and I only met with her for a medical appointment, she very likely wouldn't agree if I asked her for some time to share my faith with her.

So, what I did instead was to kindly ask her if I could share my faith with her, by giving her a book. I assured her that I would never ask if she read the book, nor ask what she thinks about the book. I didn't want her to feel pressured, awkward or uncomfortable. She kindly agreed and I gave her the book. I gave her a new hard copy of Michael P. Bowen's helpful book, “I NEVER KNEW YOU” (here's a free .pdf version) which explains what is and is not the Gospel in detail. I use this method of witnessing to people whom I think won't give me the time to share the Gospel. This way they can read the truth of God's simple plan of salvation in the quietness of their home or office, without feeling any pressure or awkwardness.

After I finished sharing the Gospel with my neighbour, he said to me that he is a Christian. I don't know if I led him to Christ, or if he was already saved, and I didn't ask him. I was just overjoyed to hear him say that he is a Christian, after he quietly listened to me share the Gospel with him for about 10 minutes. This is how I witness to most people.

Now, most Christians who share the Gospel have been wrongly trained to buttonhole people, asking them if they will trust Christ, so that they can brag at church (or Bible college) how many people they led to Christ. I want no part of that boasting. What saith the Scripture?

1st Corinthians 3:5-5, “Who then is Paul, and who is Apollos, but ministers by whom ye believed, even as the Lord gave to every man? I have planted, Apollos watered; but God gave the increase. So then neither is he that planteth any thing, neither he that watereth; but God that giveth the increase. Now he that planteth and he that watereth are one: and every man shall receive his own reward according to his own labour.”

It doesn't matter whether you plant a seed, or have the blessed privilege to lead someone to Christ, only God can save a sinner. God rewards us individually according to our OWN LABORS. So, it doesn't matter who plants the seed, or who actually has the opportunity to lead a lost sinner to receive the new birth, our part is solely to preach the Gospel to the unsaved, so that God can save them by faith. Faith is the only righteous thing that I can do.

When I was a young Christian, I was taught to put people on the spot, by asking them if they know for sure they are going to Heaven. I am not against using such a tactic, but now that I am 57 years old, I prefer a more subtle approach that doesn't make others feel awkward and pressured. I think we should be considerate and ethical. I realize that Hell is real and burns forever with fire, and there is great cause to win the lost to Christ. However, we should respect the feelings of others, and not attempt to bully them to get saved. God Himself won't force Himself on lost sinners to get saved, so neither should we.

I also humbly think that the reason why most saints won't share the Gospel, is because they have been wrongly taught by ambitious pastors to put people on the spot, to buttonhole them, and not take no for an answers. No doubt such harsh tactics have worked in a small percentage of cases in the past, but I humbly think in the majority of cases it caused the listener to harden their heart and close their mind to the truth. You cannot bully people to come to Christ.

Furthermore, forcing people to walk down a church aisle to learn how to get to Heaven is a bad practice. It is unbiblical and unnecessary for someone to be saved. The truth dear reader is that a lost sinner can be saved right in their pew, without being required to stand up or walk down an aisle to find out how to get to Heaven. Every preacher should tell the congregation how to be saved right in their pew. The sad reason why preachers don't is because they want folks to come forward, so they can shamefully boast about how many souls they got saved. I have seen this done all my life in Baptist churches... “Looky here, looky here what we did!”

Shame on any pastor who fails to preach the Gospel to the crowd.

Beware Of Pensacola Christian College And Their Corrupt Uncompassionate 'Campus Church'

In 2021, I attended the convocation exercise at Pensacola Christian College (PCC). This is the official first service of each new school semester, when all the students return, and new students arrive. Thousands of student's families are present for this special occasion. I am guessing, because I don't know the size of the giant auditorium at PCC's Campus Church, but I'd say there must have been at least 12,000 people present in attendance. Pastor Kurt Skelly from Virginia preached. In my humble opinion he sounded arrogant and puffed up in pride that night when he preached. 

During the invitation, Pastor Skelly invited anyone who didn't know they were saved to WALK DOWN THE AISLE TO THE FRONT (which feels like a city block in distance from the back of the auditorium), to learn how to go to Heaven. I felt sick to my stomach when he said that, because I realized the LOST OPPORTUNITY he wasted to preach the saving Gospel to several thousand people. No doubt there were hundreds (if not thousands) of lost family members present that evening. SHAME on PCC's incompetent pastors, and Pastor Kurt Skelly for horribly dropping the ball.

PCC has since wickedly banned my in writing from attending Campus Church, because their ungodly leadership and pastors couldn't care less about people or truth, they just love more money. PCC rakes in upwards of $200,000,000. PCC is a religious cult, who preach the Devil's lie of Lordship Salvation. They banned me because I exposed their institution's ungodly lackidaical attitude toward heresy and false prophets. Their senior pastor, Jeff Redlin, is a spoiled rich snob, getting paid a disgusting 6-digit annual salary. They are cocky, arrogant and woefully lacking in love and compassion at PCC, which I speak to their utter shame.

One of the sore evils in the United States today is that large corporations and mega religious institutions receive so much money and support from 99% of their customers (supporters), that they can throw the 1% of hurting people under the bus with impunity. I have seen this all my entire life, especially in recent decades. People just don't care anymore about their neighbour. It is a deadly spiritual disease that has infected American society as a whole. It is also happening in Europe, Australia, Canada and other first world places. It is part of our sinful human nature to succumb to success, to let it destroy our good character, spirit and morals. Where adversity has destroyed one man, prosperity has ruined one hundred. PCC's success has gone to their heads, corrupting their institution. “Ichabod” (meaning, “the glory of the Lord is departed”) is written over the doors at PCC and their rotten Campus Church.

Mature Christians Go Soulwinning

Soulwinning is the dearest thing to the great caring heart of God. Many Bible students misunderstand the parable in Mark 4:1-9 and Luke 8:11-15 of The Sower And The Seeds. Evangelist Ray Comfort is one such FALSE PROPHET, who interprets this parable to mean turning away from your sinful behavior to prove that you're saved. I found this excellent meme this week with a truthful quote from Evangelist George Muller (1805-1898)...

The parable of The Sower And The Seeds is about SOULWINNING, not SALVATION. Ray Comfort corrupts the Scripture, making this parable about true and false converts, which is wrong. The purpose of this parable is to challenge God's saints to mature in the Lord to bear fruit as soulwinners. Luke 8:11 identifies the “seed” as God's Word.

There are FOUR groups:

1. THE UNSAVED MAN (Luke 8:12) - This first group didn't get saved, because the Devil snatched away the seed of God's Word (vs. 11) to prevent the new birth from happening.
2. THE UNGROUNDED CHRISTIAN (Luke 8:13) - The second group did get saved, because the seed germinated and began to grow, but because of shallow roots they were uprooted and never matured to win souls.
3. THE CHOKED CHRISTIAN (Luke 8:14) - I humbly think most Christians fit into this group. We know they got saved because the seed germinated and began to grow, but they became choked by the cares, riches and pleasures of this world, never maturing to preach the Gospel to win souls.
4. THE MATURE CHRISTIAN (Luke 8:15) - This group are saved and serving Christ faithfully as soulwinners. The Bible says they have a good and honest heart (because the indwelling Holy Spirit renewed their mind with the inspired Word of God). They have matured in the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ. They win souls to Christ with the saving power of the Gospel of free grace.

Ironically, most soulwinning is done by baby converts who haven't been saved for more than a few years. Pastor Jack Hyles (1926-2001) said that some of the worst Christians do the most for God, and he was sadly right. It is easy to share the Gospel, but the hard part is getting out of the self life. I once heard Dr. Hyles say in a sermon that if he could tell his people one truth next to the plan of salvation, it would be to: “GET OUT OF THE SELF LIFE!” We are all selfish by nature as human beings, we cannot help it. But if we will choose to walk in the Holy Spirit, who lives inside us permanently as God's redeemed children (Romans 8:9; 1st Corinthians 3:16-17; 1st John 3:24), then Jesus will live through us (Galatians 2:20). This is the “fruit” of the blessed Holy Spirit (Galatians 5:22-25).

I encourage you dear reader, if you are a born-again child of God, to share the Gospel with the people in your life, and those whose paths you come across daily. To some, you and I are “the uttermost part of the earth” (Acts 1:8b). You may be the only Jesus that someone will ever know, and their eternal fate is in your hands friend.
