Living A Religious Lifestyle Versus Being A Good Christian

Matthew 15:7-8, “Ye hypocrites, well did Esaias prophesy of you, saying, This people draweth nigh unto me with their mouth, and honoureth me with their lips; but their heart is far from me.”

Sadly, ninety-nine percent of people who attend churches today are as phony as can be. They merely go to be part of a social club, fun center or to feel a sense of belonging. They are living a religious lifestyle for their own personal satisfaction. There is no sincere desire to truly obey, serve or please God.

Such is the case of a religious woman who enjoys going to church. She enjoys singing the old hymns. She enjoys the whole church thing. Yet, in her personal life she disobeys her husband at home. In fact, she loves her religious lifestyle so much that she divorced her husband because he refused to go to church with her. It didn't matter to the man's wife that he is suffering in horrible bodily pain all the time and needs to be at home. All that mattered to his defiant wife was what she wanted, with no regard for her husband. She is selfish.

I fully agree with Pastor Curtis Hutson (1934-1995) that if a husband tells his wife to stay home from church, she should obey and stay home. The feminist idea that a wife can just do whatever she wants, without her husband's permission, is of the Devil. A wife who abandons and divorces her husband simply doesn't love him and never did. A godly husband or wife would rather die than file for divorce! I know that is not a popular idea, but Jesus said in Matthew 19:8b, “Moses because of the hardness of your hearts suffered you to put away your wives: but from the beginning it was not so.” God hates the sin of divorce!

I know a religious woman who left her Christian husband. She just moved out one day and moved to another city six hours away, without saying a single word to her legal husband. He only found out where she was a month later, when he read their credit union statement. She didn't even bother to tell her husband that she was moving across the state. Can you imagine? That is wicked rebellion ladies!

When her husband scolded her verbally for not asking for his permission to leave home, let alone to move to another city six hours away without saying a word to him, she wickedly replied: “I DON'T NEED YOUR PERMISSION!” Woe unto that ungodly wife when she stands before God in the afterlife to give account. Romans 14:12, “So then every one of us shall give account of himself to God.” When her betrayed husband warned his rebellious wife that she would have to answer to God, she wickedly exclaimed: “That's fine!” What a sinful and ungodly attitude for a wife to have toward her own husband. What saith the Scripture? Ephesians 5:23, “Wives, submit yourselves unto your own husbands, as unto the Lord.”

Wow, did you get that? A wife is commanded by God to submit (obey) to her own husband AS UNTO THE LORD. How many American women believe and obey this Scriptural truth today? Not many I can assure you dear reader, not many at all. Most women have been corrupted by the evil influence of feminist ideologies. Satan is the author of all rebellion! 1st Samuel 15:23, “For rebellion is as the sin of witchcraft, and stubbornness is as iniquity and idolatry.  Because thou hast rejected the word of the LORD, he hath also rejected thee from being king.” A defiant wife who disobeys her husband, and makes his life a living hell on earth, is in the same boat as a witch. I didn't say that, God our Creator did.

Kindly said, there are many professed Christian women who are far more religious than Christian in their behavior and words. Our talk talks and our walk talks, but our walk talks louder than our talk talks. Many Christian women today are so enamored with living a religious lifestyle that they sacrifice their marriage on the altar of selfish pride.

Ladies, your marriage is 10,000 times more important than attending a local church. The pastor is not your hubby! Shame on any ungodly wife who elevates her pastor's word and opinion above that of her own lawfully wedded husband. Your pastor has ZERO authority over you dear woman; your husband has 100% authority over you.

When you sass your husband and make demands of him to obey you, or else you will leave and divorce him, you are directly rebelling against God. Rebellious wives who abandon their husband and cause him much grief can expect to receive NO REWARDS in Heaven. The LORD does not reward quitters! Proverbs 31:12, “She will do him good and not evil all the days of her life.”

And if you are the type of rebellious person that is already thinking: “Well what about my husband?” or “What about abusive husbands?,” you are a big part of the problem in this broken society in America. I am so sick and tired of the ungodly naysayers who feel compelled to contest and counter everything that the Bible preacher says.

That being said, I would never defend any form of abuse. In my humble opinion, rebellious wives are ten times more of a problem in homes today than abusive husbands. Many husbands only get angry when their wife disobeys him. And here's something that will ruffle your feathers—God's command for wives to obey their husband is not conditional upon her husband being fair and nice toward her. Unless it is something illegal, immoral or unsafe, a wife is expected by God to submit to her husband. That is biblical truth.

I learned a long time ago that there is a vast difference between living a religious life versus being a good Christian. The way that we treat others matters. You need to understand dear reader that you are not a good Christian just because you attend a local church. You are not a good Christian just because you sing hymns on Sunday. How you treat your spouse reveals how good of a Christian you are. No wife who files for divorce is right with God. I say that kindly with Christ's love, not to be mean, but truthful. The Ungodly Wife Has It All Backwards

1st Peter 3:1-2, “Likewise, ye wives, be in subjection to your own husbands; that, if any obey not the word, they also may without the word be won by the conversation of the wives; While they behold your chaste conversation coupled with fear.”

The inspired King James Bible teaches that if a wicked, lost or backslidden husband won't listen to the inspired Word of God, he may still be won by the manner of life (“by the conversation”) of his own wife, seeing her fear of God. A godly wife has more influence over her own husband oftentimes than does God, as we see evidenced in Eve's influence over Adam in the Garden of Eden.

Tragically, many Christian wives have it all backwards. I have heard of countless cases where a wife insisted that her husband go to church, go for counselling, or do something else, or she threatens to divorce him. Many husbands would rather be divorced than to succumb to a rebellious wife! Hey, I dare you to try threatening God and see if He buckles ladies!

The carnal wife tries to force her husband to obey her; the godly wife leads her husband by example in the fear of God, as the Holy Bible teaches. You will never force a real man to succumb to your will ladies. You may boss a wimp around and get him to jump through your hoops, but not a genuine man. Many divorces have resulted because of a rebellious wife who refused to follow God's inspired Word. If she cannot get her way, then she files for divorce. Woe be unto that wife in eternity when she stands before God in judgment.

You cannot show me one verse in the entire Holy Bible that commands a husband to submit to his wife in any matter. No, you cannot! What saith the Scripture?

Ephesians 5:22, “Wives, submit yourselves unto your own husbands, as unto the Lord. For the husband is the head of the wife, even as Christ is the head of the church: and he is the saviour of the body. Therefore as the church is subject unto Christ, so let the wives be to their own husbands in every thing.”

Whenever I quote this passage of Scripture, nearly every time rebellious people will immediately run to other Scripture passages about a husband's duty to love his wife, and of submitting one to another in the fear of the Lord. That is called a red-herring, drawing the conversation away from the main point. They cannot stand it! Rebellious wives and complicit henpecked men resent the Word of God. That is, they resent the whole concept that a wife is required to obey her own husband as unto God Himself.

The Bible teaches in Ephesians 5:21, “Submitting yourselves one to another in the fear of God.” A husband and wife should submit to one another, desiring to make each other happy and content. But God knew that there would be tension at times, because in any marriage you are uniting two sinners. So, God put this next command in the Bible in Ephesians 5:22, “Wives, submit yourselves unto your own husbands, as unto the Lord.” In cases where there is conflict, the wife (not the husband) is ALWAYS suppossed to submit.

Sadly, most American women (including Christian females) have been contaminated by today's feminist ideologies. They absolutely cannot stand the idea (biblical truth) that a wife is commanded to obey her husband IN EVERY THING. Not in some things, but in everything. If it's not illegal, immoral or unsafe, she must obey her husband, so says God.

I heard Pastor Jack Hyles say in a sermon, that once his wife ordered him to go change their son's diaper, but Brother Hyles refused to do it. She told him again, but he didn't budge. She finally figured it out that she needed to ask him kindly, and say “please,” before he would do it. That is 100% biblical. Shame on the defiant wife who attempts to tell her husband what to do!

Most so-called “Christian” women today are feminists and don't even realize it. If you sass your husband, fail to do his laundry, don't cook him decent meals, refuse to love on him, and you threaten to divorce him if he doesn't obey you—you are a dirty feminist! I speak to the utter shame and contempt of many women today. I wish divorce were illegal.

American women in particular have been groomed by our rotten corrupt ungodly culture to quit when the going gets tough, to abandon ship and file for divorce, looking for greener pastures elsewhere. Jeremiah 3:20, “Surely as a wife treacherously departeth from her husband, so have ye dealt treacherously with me, O house of Israel, saith the LORD.” It is mostly because of government welfare programs that U.S. women can abandon their husbands and mooch off of taxpayers. So the defiant wife goes from her husband providing for her financially to Uncle Sam providing for her at the expense of taxpayers. That is so evil and unbiblical.

Ladies, you will never get your husband to do what you need and want him to do by putting ultimatums on him to, “Do this or else!” Sorry, it doesn't work that way. The God who created the universe and all therein has already told you what to do in 1st Peter 3:1-2, “Likewise, ye wives, be in subjection to your own husbands; that, if any obey not the word, they also may without the word be won by the conversation of the wives; While they behold your chaste conversation coupled with fear.”

If you want to reach your difficult husband, then the only way is for you to lead him by godly example, by you being submissive to him in the fear of God.

• Being lazy and not picking up your shoes and clothes, that your husband has asked you repeatedly to pick up, is rebellion.
• Abandoning your husband and refusing to come home is rebellion, causing far more damage than anything good.
• Smarting off to your husband on the telephone is rebellion, not constructive to repair your damaged marriage.
• Behaving as a spoiled brat as a wife instead of a responsible adult is rebellion.
• Demanding that your husband go for counseling or else you're filing for divorce is rebellion, not leading by godly example.
• Filing for a divorce is evil rebellion which brings the judgment of God.

1st Samuel 15:23a, “For rebellion is as the sin of witchcraft, and stubbornness is as iniquity and idolatry...” Kindly said, we are living in a society and generation of spoiled brats today. Get mad at me if you want. I am so sick and tired of women countering this type of Bible preaching by going after the men. GET RIGHT WITH GOD AMERICA!!!

That all being said, I do not intend any unkindness dear reader. I full understand that we are all guilty sinners, and we all have faults and shortcomings. But at age 59 I have seen a lot in my lifetime, and women today are a spiritual mess because of the evil influence of feminism. Please obey your husband. This is God's will for your life.

Lead Your Husband by Example by Submitting To Him; Don't Force Him To Submit To You

Please understand that I did not write this article to bash women, God forbid. I wrote this article to emphasize the important biblical truth ladies that you can influence your difficult husband by your manner of life. Although your husband is supposed to lead the home spiritually; if he does not, then you need to continue to obey him in every thing coupled with the fear of God. That is very important. You're not just submitting to your husband, you are doing so because YOU FEAR GOD. You fear Him because one day you must give account. As your husband sees your fear of God, he will fall into line, if there is any hope for him. 

Regardless of where your husband is at on a spiritual level, you need to be the godly example that the Lord intended for you to be. There is an old adage that is very true: “You catch more flies with honey than vinegar.” Making demands of your hubby, sassing him in anger, trying to control him, screaming at the top of your lungs and threatening him, is what a fool does.

King Solomon had quite a bit to say about women in the Proverbs, and he should know, because he had 700 wives and 300 concubines living in his palace. Proverbs 14:1, “Every wise woman buildeth her house: but the foolish plucketh it down with her hands.”

People Everywhere Are Checking Out

John 16:33, “These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world.”

This woman is so right, people these days are losing interest in everything. Jesus foretold in Matthew 24:12, “And because iniquity shall abound, the love of many shall wax cold.” People are checking out. People are surviving from paycheck to paycheck. Inflation is sky high. The educational system is trash. People are depressed.

I ran across this intriguing YouTube video today. This woman speaks much truth.

Millions are starting to lose interest in everything

I use a nifty free website called Note GPT that converts any YouTube video into text. Here is some of this woman's text:

There is a shift that is occurring where people are beginning to lose interest in everything and it's causing them to retreat from society. People are radically changing the way that they are living their lives. I know that I have felt this. When you look around our society, you see that everything is really operating on this fear-based narrative.

We are living in a world right now where we're just waiting on the next big event to happen, and we have an extreme amount of financial pressure and economic stress that is overshadowing almost everything that we do. The amount of work that is having to go into life just to maintain it, and to survive; people are getting overwhelmed and exhausted and are completely checking out.

I mean, when you look at the statistics, more people than ever are living paycheck to paycheck. Nobody has any money in savings. People feel hopeless that they'll never be able to own a home. They're having to move into their vehicles. Our food system is trash. Our education system is trash. 

And just the awareness is discouraging that the people who have been in charge and are controlling this system, that we are currently operating in; it's not going so well. And I think more people are waking up to the fact that when we are living in this overwhelming state of fear, we are easier to be controlled and manipulated.

When we're comparing ourselves to other people, it's easier to sell us stuff. We are never happy and we're constantly on this hamster wheel of working really hard just to like, meet our most basic needs. The world is currently operating on a level of corruption that we have really never been aware of before, or a lot of us have not been aware of just how corrupt a lot of systems are operating; and not just within the U.S. but globally as well.

We are constantly on our phones and screens and social media. We're becoming more and more disconnected from each other, and it's making social interactions more challenging for us and for other people. We're losing the ability to have a community and form connections with other people. 

We have been disconnected from nature and outdoors, which is a place where a lot of people can find peace and calm from this place of fear. It is causing people to have this overwhelming sense of anxiety and depression, and we have major mental health concerns that are going on with the majority of people, and that is a red flag that something is wrong.

We can only handle so much stress before we completely shut down, which I think is what is happening to a lot of people. We are becoming overwhelmed and from that place of overwhelm, you know you have to fight-flight or freeze, and we have been in fight and flight for a long time and freeze is where a lot of people are going to, where they are just completely checking out and this is the shift that is leading us into a deep awareness of what is going on, and that awareness is an uncomfortable place to be there; in that place where you are seeing past the veil you know has been over us for so long.

Please keep in mind that she is speaking from a carnal viewpoint, not a Christian one. The first half of her video caught my attention because I could relate to her intriguing comments, which I think we all can. Something is amiss in American society today. People everywhere have lost interest in living. Where are the little league baseball games at the local parks? Where are the bands today? Where are the Christmas carolers in December? The pleasant American culture that I grew up in during the 1970s and 1980s has deteriorated beyond recognition. Everybody is enamored with gadgets and social media. We've never been more connected while being disconnected. I liked it better back in the 1970s before there were any microwaves, credit cards, computers, cellphones, Red-Light Cameras, A.I. generated music, et cetera.

As born again Christians, God doesn't want His children to follow the fear, worry and stress of this temporary crazy world. Jesus encourages us in John 16:33, “These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world.” Everything's alright in my Father's house. The Holy Bible tells us how to handle this troublesome life down here on earth...

Colossians 3:1-4, “If ye then be risen with Christ, seek those things which are above, where Christ sitteth on the right hand of God. Set your affection on things above, not on things on the earth. For ye are dead, and your life is hid with Christ in God. When Christ, who is our life, shall appear, then shall ye also appear with him in glory.”

That is why when by God's grace I wake up each morning, I seek the LORD early. I listen to the King James Bible or some Bible preaching. I check my ministry emails and get to work writing. By the good and faithful Lord's grace. I begin each day by setting my mind and affection “on things above, not on things on the earth.”

Pastor Jack Hyles (1926-2001) wisely said that as he grew older he ran to the Bible like a starving man. I fully agree! If we don't pray and abide in the Scripture daily, we are telling God by our behavior that we don't need His help and guidance. I desperately need God!!!

How To Walk With God

James 4:6-11, “But he giveth more grace. Wherefore he saith, God resisteth the proud, but giveth grace unto the humble. Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you. Draw nigh to God, and he will draw nigh to you. Cleanse your hands, ye sinners; and purify your hearts, ye double minded. Be afflicted, and mourn, and weep: let your laughter be turned to mourning, and your joy to heaviness. Humble yourselves in the sight of the Lord, and he shall lift you up. Speak not evil one of another, brethren. As a redeemed child of God, you just need to spend time with Him by meditating in His inspire Word (Psalms 1:1-3). Learn to love the inspired King James Bible. Psalms 139:17, “How precious also are thy thoughts unto me, O God! how great is the sum of them!” Listen to lots of fundamentalist Bible preaching, pray about everything (Philippians 4:6-8). Although I don't agree with Pastor Steven L. Anderson on several doctrinal issues, he is one of the finest soulwinning preachers of our generation. Faithful Word Baptist Church in Phoenix, Arizona (for 2025 to 2026) led 10,121 lost sinners to Jesus Christ. Brother Anderson personally led 182 people to faith in Jesus Christ.

To walk with God, maintain a thankful spirit continually toward God (1st Thessalonians 5:18). The Holy Bible is the most wonderful Book I've ever read. It is a Living Book (Hebrews 4:12). Acts 4:13, “Now when they saw the boldness of Peter and John, and perceived that they were unlearned and ignorant men, they marvelled; and they took knowledge of them, that they had been with Jesus.” When you walk with God, you will be emboldened to stand for truth and righteousness. That is why I preach boldly the way I do, unapologetically with uncompromising truthfulness and transparency. That is why for the past 24 years of website ministry, as a Christian missionary to cyberspace, I have never received a single penny for my 50,000 hours of diligent labor day and night for my blessed God and Savior.

Ye Must Be Born Again

Dear reader, if you have not been born again, you can never walk with God (Romans 8:9). God's wrath rests upon the head of anybody who isn't saved (Psalms 7:11). John 3:36, “He that believeth on the Son hath everlasting life: and he that believeth not the Son shall not see life; but the wrath of God abideth on him.” If you don't know 100% that your name is recorded in Heaven, you can know right now (1st John 5:13).

If you want to go to Heaven, simply acknowledge that you are a guilty sinner under the condemnation of God's Old Testament law (Romans 3:19-20). There is a penalty for your sin, which is to spend eternity burning in the fires of Hell (Revelation 14:11, 20:11-15, 21:8). That's the BAD NEWS! The 'GOOD NEWS' (i.e., GOSPEL) is that God the Father sent His only begotten (biological) Son into the world to die in your place on Calvary's cross 2,000 years ago. Jesus paid a debt He did not owe, because we owed a debt of sin we could not pay.

To be saved, you must come to God by faith (taking God at His written Word) as a needy sinner. You need to know what your being saved from. Simply accept Christ's sacrificial death on the cross as full payment for your sins, believing that He was buried, but then miraculously resurrected from the dead three days later. This is “the gospel” according to 1st Corinthians 15:1-6. BELIEVE IT, oh sinner, and the work is done.

Romans 1:16, “For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek.” I LOVE THAT! The Gospel is the “power” of God to save whosoever BELIEVES IT. The Gospel is not good advice to be lived, it is GOOD NEWS to be believed. Satan's greatest weapon is to con people into living the Christian life without ever being born again. It's not what you're doing that gets you to Heaven, it's where you're looking. LOOK TO JESUS! Isaiah 45:22, “Look unto me, and be ye saved, all the ends of the earth: for I am God, and there is none else.”

That is what it means in John 3:14-15, “And as Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, even so must the Son of man be lifted up: That whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have eternal life.” God had sent fiery deadly serpents to bite the Hebrews as a consequence of their persistent complaining against God and Moses. God sent serpents to bite the Hebrews as a punishment for their complaints and lack of faith during their journey in the Wilderness. This incident led them to recognize their sin and seek God's mercy, which He provided by instructing Moses to create a bronze serpent for healing. Moses instructed the Jews to LOOK AND LIVE! ...

Numbers 21:7-9, “Therefore the people came to Moses, and said, We have sinned, for we have spoken against the LORD, and against thee; pray unto the LORD, that he take away the serpents from us. And Moses prayed for the people. And the LORD said unto Moses, Make thee a fiery serpent, and set it upon a pole: and it shall come to pass, that every one that is bitten, when he looketh upon it, shall live. And Moses made a serpent of brass, and put it upon a pole, and it came to pass, that if a serpent had bitten any man, when he beheld the serpent of brass, he lived.”

That brass serpent which Moses made symbolized Jesus Christ, the sinless Lamb of God who became as sin for us sinners who knew no righteousness (2nd Corinthians 5:21). The way to be saved dear reader is to simply come to God by faith as a guilty sinner (bitten by the serpent of sin), and LOOK TO JESUS! It's that easy, free and simple to get to Heaven.

John 6:28-29, “Then said they unto him, What shall we do, that we might work the works of God? Jesus answered and said unto them, This is the work of God, that ye believe on him whom he hath sent.”

Family Baptist Church Kicked Us Out Over Modesty

Ephesians 4:20-32, “But ye have not so learned Christ; If so be that ye have heard him, and have been taught by him, as the truth is in Jesus: That ye put off concerning the former conversation the old man, which is corrupt according to the deceitful lusts; And be renewed in the spirit of your mind; And that ye put on the new man, which after God is created in righteousness and true holiness. Wherefore putting away lying, speak every man truth with his neighbour: for we are members one of another. Be ye angry, and sin not: let not the sun go down upon your wrath: Neither give place to the devil. Let him that stole steal no more: but rather let him labour, working with his hands the thing which is good, that he may have to give to him that needeth. Let no corrupt communication proceed out of your mouth, but that which is good to the use of edifying, that it may minister grace unto the hearers. And grieve not the holy Spirit of God, whereby ye are sealed unto the day of redemption. Let all bitterness, and wrath, and anger, and clamour, and evil speaking, be put away from you, with all malice: And be ye kind one to another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God for Christ's sake hath forgiven you.”

I highly encourage you to read the entire chapter of Ephesians 4, because it all goes together. God wants us as redeemed saints to put off the old carnal man. God wants us to be renewed in our mind. That is, the LORD wants our thinking to be brought into line with the inspired Scripture (2nd Corinthians 10:5-6). I have told people for years that I am as narrow-minded as the King James Bible. Amen.

I want to quote a portion of our text passage, because this TRUTH is so life changing. Ephesians 4:21-24, “But ye have not so learned Christ; If so be that ye have heard him, and have been taught by him, as the truth is in Jesus: That ye put off concerning the former conversation the old man, which is corrupt according to the deceitful lusts; And be renewed in the spirit of your mind; And that ye put on the new man, which after God is created in righteousness and true holiness.” Boy, I sure love that truth!

That being said, no professed Christian women who wears pants in public has put on the nee man which is after Christ. She is carnally-minded, immature, backslidden and worldly. And any henpecked husband who defends his wife wearing immodest clothing is in the same sinking boat. I have the inspired Word of God on my side in this important matter.

Family Baptist Church in Pensacola Kicked Us Out

On the Sunday morning in June of 2025 that Pastor Bobby Moffett shamefully told me and my wife that we're no longer welcomed at Family Baptist Church in Pensacola, he threw it in my face that I referred to Bob Jones University as: “God damned.” I make no apologies for my preaching! I stand 100% behind my biblical comment about Bob Jones University (BJU). Here is my exact comment that Pastor Bobby Moffett read on my ministry website:

Since [Sean] Quinlan foolishly rebuked me publicly at the entrance of the church, I had to rebuke him back in public in front of his own people, because it was a matter of THE TRUTH. I shouted as I was leaving: “SHAME ON YOU!!!” And I'd gladly do it again 10,000 times!!! I wasn't about to let that fool defend Lordship Salvation, Devil's Bibles, Martin Luther's Baptismal Regeneration and the God damned Bob Jones University crowd! No pastor has a right to hide behind his clergy position while defending gross Satanic error (Titus 1:10-14; Jude 1:3; Ephesians 5:11). Pastor Quinlan falsely accused me of being "obsessed" over the Holy Bible. Yes, you better believe I am "OBSESSED" over the Bible, and so too should you be friend. SOURCE

The Bible is very clear in Galatians 1:6-8, “I marvel that ye are so soon removed from him that called you into the grace of Christ unto another gospel: Which is not another; but there be some that trouble you, and would pervert the gospel of Christ. But though we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel unto you than that which we have preached unto you, let him be accursed.” So, it is very appropriate for me (or any other preacher) to refer to the Calvinist false prophets at BJU as “God damned.” Only a fool would disagree. And by the way, Bobby and Brad Moffett (and their sick Family Baptist Church in Pensacola) are also GOD DAMNED for perverting the Gospel with their heretical “repent of your sins” garbage to get to Heaven, which is nowhere taught in the King James Bible. That unbiblical statement is in their official church's Statement of Faith.

So, why did Bobby “Dingleberry” Moffett attack me in the church parking lot with false accusations? I'll tell you why, it is because his worldly wife (and his worldly daughter in law) wear their ungodly pants in public. They resent and hate my fundamentalist Bible preaching on my ministry websites. I never told them about my websites in the 45 months that I attended their church (2021-2025), they went and found my ministry on their own, and they despise me for what I stand for and preach. Wicked neo-evangelicals despise Bible fundamentalists! They always have and they always will!

Shame On Pastor Brad Moffett's Ungodly Wife

When my modest wife arrived with a full-length dress at their Family Baptist Church Memorial Day picnic in 2025 at the Lilian Recreational Park in Alabama, the pastor's ungodly wife instantly felt like a whore. We saw it all over her face. She refused to even greet my wife, which is telling. Without saying a single word, the pastor's wife felt convicted. You see, that's what happens when you commit sin, you flee when no man pursueth in paranoia. Proverbs 28:1, “The wicked flee when no man pursueth: but the righteous are bold as a lion.”

But that's not all, the pastor's horrible wife was so irked by our very presence, that she walked over 50 feet to our picnic table and said: “I like your shorts!” to a young teenager girl sitting next to us. Of all the thousands of things she could have said to that girl, do you really think for one moment that she randomly just chose those words? Not a chance! She didn't stop at the three picnic tables in front of us. No, she walked all the way over to our table to provoke us as fundamentalist Christians, and to defiantly let us know that she isn't doing anything wrong to wear her immodest pants. Woe, woe unto that ungodly pastor's wife.

Brad Moffett Wickedly Slandered Pastor Jack Hyles

And woe unto Brad Moffett (her henpecked husband) for sanctioning his wife's immodest attire (Proverbs 7:10). I am going to go to seed in this matter of preaching against women's immodesty!!! 1st Timothy 2:9, “In like manner also, that women adorn themselves in modest apparel, with shamefacedness and sobriety; not with broided hair, or gold, or pearls, or costly array.” Brad kept challenging me to show him from the Bible where it says that women cannot wear pants. That's the same wicked argument that homosexuals keep making today, challenging the Word of God. Genesis 3:1b, “ Yea, hath God said...”

It was this very article on my website that started the whole ordeal. Dear reader, in the book of Acts in the New Testament when the disciples of Jesus preached THE TRUTH, either revival or a riot always ensued. THE TRUTH is only hate to those who HATE the truth. The Moffett family are not right with God. Their wicked wives are defiant against God's Word in the matter of public decency and modesty. A century ago you couldn't find a female in the United States wearing a pair of pants. Even 75 years ago women all wore skirts or dresses in 1951.

The Satanic women's liberation movement of the 1960s and 1970s finally helped to break down the biblical stigma against women wearing pants, plunging our culture into the depths of Satan. Do you really think that the evils of fornication, abortion, adultery, divorce, murder, covetousness, homosexuality, corporate greed, substance abuse, neglecting the poor and every other form of wickedness imaginable just coincidentally followed the women's liberation movement in America? I hope you're not that naïve. One evil begets another evil.

I Don't Have A Dirty Mind, I Have A Man's Mind

Bobby Moffett's wicked son (also the church pastor) shamefully slandered my hero of the Christian faith Pastor Jack Hyles (1926-2001), essentially calling him a carnally-minded dirty old man when I met with Brad in his church office in April of 2025. Pastor Brad uttered this slander in response to Dr. Hyles' truthful statement, quote: “I don't have a dirty mind, I have a man's mind” (it is in this article that I quote Dr. Hyles). Dear reader, you'll never hear a more truer statement than what Brother Hyles just said. 

A fella doesn't have to be a dirty-minded pervert to think an impure thought when he sees a pretty pastor's wife wearing pants at a church picnic, because he is a man. I can tell you that when I saw Brad's wife wearing her tight pants last year, I wasn't thinking: “Amazing Grace.” I was thinking: “Honey, sit on my face.” Perhaps you say, “You have a dirty mind.” No, I have a normal man's mind, and any honest fella and legitimate psychologist would agree.

Male lust is considered a normal aspect of human sexuality. Research indicates that men experience sexual desire frequently, often more intensely than women, but this does not imply that all men are constantly consumed by lust (1st Peter 2:11). Men are aroused by sight. Pastor Brad actually argued this biological FACT with me in his office, claiming that it's not true. The guy has some serious theological and spiritual issues.

I Refuse To Let This Matter Over Modesty Go

I won't be quiet in this matter. Being kicked out of one's church family was cruelty on their part, but we did nothing to hurt them. We were their friends. It was Bobby Moffett's ungodly way of hurting us, because he is angry that my truthful fundamentalist Bible preaching exposes their counterfeit plan of salvation, and the worldliness of his wicked wife and daughter in law. So, instead of them repenting to do what is right in God's sight, it was much easier for them to just throw me and my wife under the bus. Woe unto Family Baptist Church and their God damned pastors on Judgment Day!!!

The Bible warns in Matthew 7:1-2, “Judge not, that ye be not judged. For with what judgment ye judge, ye shall be judged: and with what measure ye mete, it shall be measured to you again. And why beholdest thou the mote that is in thy brother's eye, but considerest not the beam that is in thine own eye?” They wrongfully condemned us and kicked us out of our church family. They didn't even have the decency to talk with us first, because they know that they are in the wrong. They just wanted to effectively murder us, to make us go away permanently, but in so doing they murdered Jesus! Matthew 25:40, “And the King shall answer and say unto them, Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as ye have done it unto one of the least of these my brethren, ye have done it unto me.”

I forgive them for the horrible wicked things they did to us. God knows that I love Pastor Brad and am grateful for the truths I learned from him over 45 months. I have nothing against his wife, but I do have something against her immodest attire and flagrant attitude about it. I do not hate Brad's verbally abusive father, but the guy is a grudge holding jerk. Bobby is rude, unkind, arrogant and has no business being a pastor since he woefully lacks God's love. 

Nobody has a right to dismissive Bobby's abusive behavior with such excuses as: “Well, that's just the way he is” or “We'll, we're all sinners.” Being a sinner doesn't give anyone a license to be unkind, abusive and rude to people. The first time I introduced my wife to Pastor Bobby, he rudely snapped at me while we were talking with him. Bobby has anger issue with people and needs psychiatric help. Mr. Moffett needs to repent of his contempt for others, and get right with God.

Bobby Moffett continually brags about having started four churches, but the truth is that their carnal religious social club has merely moved into four different buildings over the years. He has a false sense of pride. Proverbs 20:6, “Most men will proclaim every one his own goodness: but a faithful man who can find?” They've been unfaithful to rightly divide the Word of Truth, guilty of perverting God's simple plan of salvation. Repenting of your sins to be saved is damnable heresy, a false teaching which cannot produce the required new birth to enter into God's Kingdom. RIGHT DOCTRINE MATTERS!!!

I am not belaboring the wickedness that happened at Family Baptist Church merely because they hurt us. God will deal harshly with them, the same way that they harshly dealt with us unjustly. What goes around comes around (Galatians 6:7). I am making a big fuss because they are defending the sin of immodesty at Family Baptist Church. They are defending the sin of preaching another gospel. They are defiant against the inspired Word of God. Somebody's got to care ladies and gentlemen. Psalms 94:16, “Who will rise up for me against the evildoers? or who will stand up for me against the workers of iniquity?”

God knows that I love the folks at Family Baptist Church, but they shamefully kicked us out of our church family because they are not right with God. They are wrong and they know it. Me and Alice refused to take their shame upon us. And lest anybody falsely accuse me of causing trouble in a church, I never once in the 45 months that I attended their church made any mention of women wearing pants in the church, because it was none of my business.

In fact, it was their ungodly henpecked pastor and his bratty worldly wife who took issue with my fundamentalist website ministry, and drew first blood, for which they will give account to our holy God in Heaven. Pastor Brad boldly declared with contempt in his office on April 30th, 2025: “I am not a fundamentalist!” Yeah, no kidding, who would have guessed? We are innocent in the matter, but they must give account for preaching another gospel, promoting worldliness in the church, and for kicking God's children out the door for telling the truth.

No One Can Give You Character If You Are Lazy

Proverbs 14:1, “Every wise woman buildeth her house: but the foolish plucketh it down with her hands.”

If you lack character, no one can give it to you. Why is it that one woman picks up after herself at home, but another is lazy and sloppy? In a word, character. Why is it that one man indulges in dirty magazines, but another resolves to “set no wicked thing before mine eyes” (Psalms 101:3). Character! No one has perfect character, but it is something that everyone should work at continually. What is character? It is the subconscious doing of right, that is, a habit.

Many wives are irresponsible slobs at home. They leave their shoes for the husband to trip over. They let food spoil in the refrigerator because they are too lazy and characterless to keep inventory and cook the food. She has a bad habit of not pulling her weight in the marriage, not providing for her household. She has no interest in becoming a chef. Shame on you if I am ringing your bell dear friend. That all boils down to CARING.

People without character are people who just don't care. When you care you do what is necessary and needful. Proverbs 18:1-2, “Through desire a man, having separated himself, seeketh and intermeddleth with all wisdom. A fool hath no delight in understanding, but that his heart may discover itself.” Nothing worthwhile in life just happens by chance, you must apply yourself. The harder I work, the luckier I get.

How do you obtain personal character if you don't have it? You get character by pretending that you have it, doing that which is right until it becomes a habit. Psychologists say if you do something consistently for 21 days it becomes a habit. If you're not a good Christian, then pretend to be one and eventually you'll become one. But whether or not you get character ultimately all boils down to one all important word, CARING. Do you care? If you don't care, then just do nothing and that is exactly what will change, nothing.

You cannot ask another person to help you have character, to do the things that you alone are supposed to do without being asked. Life doesn't work that way! If you don't care, nobody can make you care. Pastor Jack Hyles taught that love is thinking. When you love someone, you take the time to think about them. You plan a time to think about their needs, burdens and what you can do to be a blessing to them. Philippians 2:3-5, “Let nothing be done through strife or vainglory; but in lowliness of mind let each esteem other better than themselves. Look not every man on his own things, but every man also on the things of others. Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus.” Jesus cared about others. He looked for ways to be helpful and a blessing to his neighbours and even strangers.

For example: If you feel no love for someone, then you put them on your prayer list (every Christian ought to have a written prayer list). As you think about that person's burdens, heartaches, losses and trials, and pray for them daily, you will start feeling concern and you might even begin to care. Matthew 6:21, “For where your treasure is, there will your heart be also.” Most people get this verse wrong. Most people think that your heart follows your treasure, but that's not what the Bible says. Scripture tells us that our heart follows our treasure. That is, wherever you invest your time, money and resources, that is where your heart will follow. As you think about, have empathy and pray for someone, you are making an investment in them, which will eventually cause you to develop feelings for that individual.

We are living in a characterless generation today. Character is doing what is right when no one else is looking. Character is generated from a heart that cares. If you lack character friend, the $64,000 question is: Do you care? If you don't care, nothing else matters. I have faithfully warned countless pastors that repentance does not mean to forsake one's sinful ways, yet they lacked the godly concern to repent of their misunderstood repentance.

As a fundamentalist Bible preacher, I can help someone who lacks character if they care enough to heed my godly wisdom, but I cannot help someone who doesn't care. If that is you, then cry out to God in prayer to give you a pure heart, so that you will start caring. Sadly, very few people in this world care. That includes most professed Christians as well.

It is never okay not to care. If your spouse is continually upset with you for not pulling your own weight, then repent of your wicked heart and ask God to help you start caring.

If you are a wicked pastor who has been warned that you're preaching another gospel by teaching that you must turn from your sinning to be saved, then repent and ask God to forgive you, and stop preaching that sinful trash. Right doctrine matters!

Americans are spoiled rotten. We have a bunch of lazy clergy today...

“America's full of seminaries and colleges and Bible institutes that are dead as last year's Christmas tree. You know why? They got a bunch of professors that never witness, never tell anybody about Jesus; they got a whole reservoir of spoiled truth. They're spoiled rotten! Their truth is spoiled rotten! They know about justification but never tell anybody's that's not justified about it. They know about sanctification but never tell anybody who's not sanctified about it. And our churches are drying up today because our pastor today are being trained by a bunch of dead theologians whose truth is spoiled.” —Pastor Jack Hyles, “Spoiled Rotten”

We sadly live in a spoiled rotten culture in the United States. This is the age of blame! A lazy wife blames her husband for picking on her, when she is the problem. She has no one to blame but herself for not aspiring to be a Proverbs 31 woman. She is lazy and that is no one's fault except hers. And God pity the rebellious female who always tries to make everything 50/50. Well what about him? Well, what about him? I'm preaching at you, you lazy dog!

No one can give you character if you are lazy. I guarantee you that if a troubled wife goes to meet with a psychiatrist that not one time in a hundred will any doctor ever diagnose her as being not right with God, lazy, rebellious and a spoiled brat. They will never tell her THE TRUTH. No, they'll instead diagnose her with clinical depression, a chemical imbalance of the brain, unbalanced hormones, regressive anger from her youth, post traumatic stress, childhood abuse or an overbearing husband—anything except the truth that she is the problem! If you are lazy, look in the mirror. You are to blame!

I read an article recently by the Independent Institute titled: 'The Age Of The Lazy American,' in which the writer states...

There are no doubt many other factors at work. Citing just one: the decline in religious affiliation probably on balance has led to a lessening of a sense of duty to work hard, to try to strive. SOURCE

Wow, Dr. Richard Vedder nailed it! There is a woeful vacuum in today's church pulpits of hard preaching like we used to hear a century ago. When's the last time that you heard any pastor preach against the sin of laziness?

Here are some negative character traits of the lazy person:

1. A lazy person throws food in the garbage because they didn't use it before it rotted. Proverbs 12:27, “The slothful man roasteth not that which he took in hunting: but the substance of a diligent man is precious.”
2. The way of a lazy person is painful like a thorny bush. Proverbs 15:19, “The way of the slothful man is as an hedge of thorns: but the way of the righteous is made plain.” Pastor Harry Ironside exegetes this verse as: “Difficulties abound in the mind of the slothful man. His life seems surrounded by thorns. He has many excuses for not acting at once according to what he knows is right. The upright, learning his duty, presses on and finds his way made plain before him as he takes one step after another.”
3. A lazy person is wasteful Proverbs 18:9, “He also that is slothful in his work is brother to him that is a great waster.”
4. Lazy people do without. Proverbs 19:15, “Slothfulness casteth into a deep sleep; and an idle soul shall suffer hunger.” That is of course, unless you receive welfare that somebody else labored to provide for you. If you succeed without sacrificing, it is only because someone else sacrificed without succeeding.
5. A lazy person is their own worst enemy. Proverbs 21:25, “The desire of the slothful killeth him; for his hands refuse to labour.”
6. Lazy people make excuses. Proverbs 22:13, “The slothful man saith, There is a lion without, I shall be slain in the streets.”
7. A lazy person is irresponsible. Proverbs 24:30-31, “I went by the field of the slothful, and by the vineyard of the man void of understanding; And, lo, it was all grown over with thorns, and nettles had covered the face thereof, and the stone wall thereof was broken down.”
8. A lazy person sleeps way too much. Proverbs 26:14, “As the door turneth upon his hinges, so doth the slothful upon his bed.”

As the old wise adage says: If the shoe fits, wear it!

To Overcome Temptation And Sin, Saturate Your Life With The Word Of God

Psalms 119:11, “Thy word have I hid in mine heart, that I might not sin against thee.” 

Psalms 119:9, “Wherewithal shall a young man cleanse his way? by taking heed thereto according to thy word.”

If you want to gain victory in your life over sin, then you need to start hiding the Word of God in your heart (i.e., your sub-consciousness) by memorizing the Scriptures. USE ONLY THE PRECIOUS, KING JAMES BIBLE!!! All modern Bible revisions have been corrupted by Satan!!! Do a Bible study on your particular area of weakness, and then memorize several Scriptures to help you when temptations arise.

For example: If you have a problem with sexual lust, you should memorize 1st Peter 2:11, “Dearly beloved, I beseech you as strangers and pilgrims, abstain from fleshly lusts, which war against the soul.” 1st John 2:15-17 would apply to many sins and should be memorized by EVERY believer, “Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world. If any man love the world, the love of the Father is not in him. For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh, and the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life, is not of the Father, but is of the world. And the world passeth away, and the lust thereof: but he that doeth the will of God abideth for ever.”

These Scriptures should be on our minds continually. Literally, our minds should be SATURATED with the Scriptures. The Word of God should be more yummy to our souls than Krispy Kreme donuts are to our taste buds. King David said that the Word's of the Lord were sweeter than honey to his mouth (Psalm 119:103). Do you find the Bible more refreshing that a box of Dunkin Doughnuts? Sadly, most people would gladly rather have a box of donuts over God's Word. What will today's burdens and temptations matter 100-years from now? All that will matter when we leave this world, as believers, is what did we do for Jesus' sake and the Gospel's (Mark 10:29-30).

Of course, if you are unsaved, nothing else will matter until you receive Jesus Christ as your personal Savior. Sin has alienated mankind from God, and there is no hope for humanity apart from the cross of Jesus Christ. You are a GUILTY sinner, on your way to everlasting Hell, fire and torment in your sins. You need to have your sins forgiven, and only Jesus Christ Who has the nail-scared hands and feet can forgive you. Ye Must Be Born Again!

To Live a Victorious Christian Life, Listen to Lots of Bible-Believing Preaching

When we listen to preaching, we are walking with wise men. And by the way, ALL WOMEN PREACHERS ARE FALSE PROPHETS. Lesbian Katy Perry's mother is a preacher—that speaks volumes! Proverbs 13:20, “He that walketh with wise men shall be wise: but a companion of fools shall be destroyed.” Turn that stupid radio off and start listening to some preaching that will help you.

It's amazing how most people will listen to the same old songs, that have been around for decades, thousands of times, and not one of those songs will make you a better Christian. Think about that! But if you get a radio in your car that accepts a flash drive, you can download thousands of MP3 sermons and listen to them to and from work, that will change your life for God!!! Do you have enough character to listen to preaching? You have to want the truth and wisdom, it won't come to you. Ask God to give you wisdom!

I regularly listen to hundreds of sermon videos on YouTube. There are innumerable awesome sermons freely available on the internet. I highly recommend the following preachers: Danny Castle, Jack Hyles, Bob Gray Sr., Steven Anderson, Max D. Younce, Jeff Owens, Lester Roloff, Curtis Hutson, Tom Malone, Ralph Yankee Arnold, John R. Rice, Harry Ironside, Lee Roberson and others. Some of these men are living, and some of them are already in Heaven. 

I don't agree with everything that all these faithful men of God preach, but they are men of God and I agree with 99% of what they each preach. The great need of the hour is preaching preachers! Stay away from Paul Washer, Ray Comfort, John MacArthur, Marty Herron, Jeff Redlin and Timothy Zacharias, Bobby and Bradley Moffett, Rick Warren, Joel Osteen, Pat Robertson, John Hagee, Max Lucado and other compromised damnable preachers!

Please kick Elton John, Katy Perry, Jay Z, Dolly Parton, Beyoncé, Madonna, Reba McIntire, Dave Mustaine, Rhianna, AC/DC, Van Halen, Hollywood and the other filthy reprobates out of your life, who are influencing you for Satan!!! Make sure that you spend the bulk of your time listening to godly men. Americans are in a mess today because we have all the wrong mentors!!! You're never going to win victory in your life until you stop hanging out with losers! Michael Jordan is a loser in God's eyes. Donald Trump is not good success in God's eyes. You're not a success in life unless God says you're a success. Ecclesiastes 12:13, “Let us hear the conclusion of the whole matter: Fear God, and keep his commandments: for this is the whole duty of man.”

Think about how much time we spend listening to Fox News (lies), NBC (nothing but crap), CNN (contains no news), secular radio, worldly television, empty magazines, et cetera. Do any of these lame things edify you for God? Of course they don't. We are surrounded today by fools! I choose to walk with wise men, preachers! I hardly miss a sermon by my favorite living Baptist preachers today. I listen to a few who aren't independent fundamental Baptist, but only a few. I tell you truthfully dear reader that there is no such thing as a “good Christian.” We are all woeful sinners who have fallen short of God's glory (Romans 3:23). I preach to myself too.

We're Losing Our Distinctives Between The Sexes

Deuteronomy 22:5, “The woman shall not wear that which pertaineth unto a man, neither shall a man put on a woman's garment: for all that do so are abomination unto the LORD thy God.”

Dear reader, if you honestly think that our text passage of inspired Scripture is mere expired Old Testament Jewish ceremonial law, you are a fool indeed. Deuteronomy 22:5 is moral law applicable to all people for all generations! God mandates that a clear distinction between the two genders of male and female be maintained at all times. Anything else is a sin!

Woe unto the ungodly pastor's wife and mother who wears pants in public. There would have been no debate 75 years ago. SHAME on Pastors' Brad and Bobby Moffett, their worldly pants-wearing wives, and the carnal FAMILY BAPTIST CHURCH in Pensacola, which is nothing more than a worldly social club for religious hypocrites. My ministry friend, Pastor Bob Gray Sr., nails it biblically concerning why women ought NOT wear pants in his helpful blog...

“We are a nation that has completely lost its mind and its morality. Yet we are criticizing men who say women shouldn’t wear pants, because women are commanded to dress differently than men? How dare you be so concerned about a man who preaches against women wearing pants that you neglect to acknowledge that the distinction between the sexes has been broken. Yet, it is a distinction God gave us. 

So, now I put the responsibility back on your shoulders. Tell us what to do? If there’s no problem then there’s nothing to worry about, but I think we all know there is a problem. Dr. Hyles was right. The unisex movement is a satanic pursuit to blur the lines between the roles and identity of men and women. How do we fix it? What’s the standard going to be? Is there going to be no standard? I think it’s time to give it a second thought. 

If the pastor’s wife has no distinction in her dress, then no wonder the pastor has lock-jaw and is like the Antarctica and frozen at the mouth. This makes it difficult to lead a local church let alone a movement. 

Christians who believe in traditional marriage were shocked at the in your face sodomy display at the NFL draft. The truth is they may have to look in the mirror and figure out what happened to the distinction of the sexes as having laid the foundation for this and other woes. This is NOT hate speech, this is Scriptural speech. We are losing ground because we have lost the distinctiveness God gave us!”

A Godly Christian Keeps Trying

Proverbs 24:16, “For a just man falleth seven times, and riseth up again: but the wicked shall fall into mischief.”

Dear saint of God, God only expects that you do better today than you did yesterday. Now, if you are not born again, then God's wrath abides upon you. John 3:36, “He that believeth on the Son hath everlasting life: and he that believeth not the Son shall not see life; but the wrath of God abideth on him.” Woe unto the human being who will one day 'DIE IN YOUR SINS' without Christ (John 8:24b). The redeemed child of God shall some day 'DIE IN THE LORD' (Revelation 14:13b).

I now speak to the saints. As God's children, we are far from perfect. Thankfully, God knows that we are flesh and considers our frailty. Psalms 103:14, “For he knoweth our frame; he remembereth that we are dust.” This was Pastor Jack Hyles' mother's favorite Scripture passage, and for obvious reasons it should be one of every saint's favorite Bible verses. At best we are weak, vulnerable, opinionated, all strange in our own ways, children of God.

The inspired Holy Bible teaches in our text passage from Proverbs 24:16, “For a just man falleth seven times, and riseth up again: but the wicked shall fall into mischief.” That is, when a Christian sins, we get back up and try in God's strength to do better next time.

And always remember, as believers we don't grow in strength, we grow in grace (2nd Peter 3:18). We read in Galatians 2:20-21, “I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me. I do not frustrate the grace of God: for if righteousness come by the law, then Christ is dead in vain.” Here we learn one of the great secrets to living the Christian life, which secret is that you and I simply cannot successfully live the Christian life in our own human frailty and weakness.

Every Believer Struggles with Sin

Paul tried to live right, but at times utterly failed, just as ALL believers do. Proverbs 24:16, “For a just man falleth seven times, and riseth up again: but the wicked shall fall into mischief.” Please note that there are two separate Hebrew words used for “fall” in Proverb 24:16. The first “falleth” literally means “to trip, or stumble.” This is the believer who attempts to please God by living a holy life, but fails, and tries again, but fails, and tries again, but fails, and so forth. This is pleasing to the Lord; not that we fail, but that we keep getting back up and trying again with His help. That is, we KEEP TRYING.

As long as we are living in this selfish and carnal flesh, we will endure the constant spiritual struggle between our sin-nature and the Spirit of Christ which indwells every believer (Romans 8:9). Just keep trying dear saint of God, in the Lord's strength not yours.

The second word “fall” means “to quit, or walk away.” This is the man or woman who deliberately commits sin, trying to justify their wickedness. This is the wife who files for divorce. She quit, i.e., she's not even trying to live for God anymore. Seeking greener pastures is what the heathen world does. The Bible tells us to hang in there doing right for God (Galatians 6:9).

Feminism has indoctrinated American women today to condemn their husbands, blaming them for everything. There are multitudes of sinful commercials and television shows nowadays which portray men as being ignorant, incompetent, stupid and naïve in comparison to women. It is heathendom and it's helping to ruin men.

The Bible is an authoritative Book written by an authoritative God; and the fathers, husbands, and preachers who live by it will be authoritative. The wicked world hates God's authority, and any authority ordained of God. I have received numerous letters in the past from women who blame their husbands for everything, but never say even one negative thing about themselves. Please read, Who's the Biggest Sinner?

It's important that you don't become discouraged when you do sin. Proverbs 24:16, “For a just man falleth seven times, and riseth up again: but the wicked shall fall into mischief.” A wicked person doesn't even try to live right, they don't care about pleasing God. When a Christian falls, the whole world is waiting to condemn them. The world receives their own (John 15:19).

David Lee Roth (lead singer of the rock band Van Halen) is one of the wickedest men in the world today, who has spent his life destroying teenager's lives with his demonic music that promotes all manner of sexual depravity, rebellion, nasty filth and blasphemy against God. Wikipedia has nothing bad to say about Mr. Roth.

Yet, Pastor Jack Hyles (1926-2001) spent his life helping millions of people through his 55 years of faithful ministry, and Wikipedia trashes him out like the worst man who ever lived. Judgment day is coming for this ungodly world (Isaiah 13:11). I thank God for the precious blood of Jesus Christ that cleanseth my sins away (1st John 1:7). A very important truth for us to understand is that we, as believers, cannot live the Christian life in our own strength. Galatians 2:20, “I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me.” I love that Scripture! Jesus lives in and through me as God's child, in the form of the Holy Spirit. In Romans 8:9, the Holy Spirit is called the “Spirit of Christ.” Amen!

All we have to do (as Christians) is saturate our mind and heart with the inspired Word of God (King James Bible), and yield to it. 2nd Corinthians 10:5, “Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ.” That's not mind-control, that's voluntarily yielding to the Holy Spirit in obedience to God's Word.

Unlike satanic Hollywood and the occult music industry, who continually manipulate the human mind to deceptively control people; God is brutally honest and nothing is done in secret. John 18:20, “Jesus answered him, I spake openly to the world; I ever taught in the synagogue, and in the temple, whither the Jews always resort; and in secret have I said nothing.” The world would rather trust sneaky Freemasons and Satan who deceive them, than to trust an honest and dear Savior.

The Power of HIS MIGHT

Ephesians 6:10-12, “Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might. Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.” We cannot gain victory over sin by ourselves, we need God's power. This is exactly what Ephesians 6:10, “...be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might.” We are foolish if we attempt to live the Christian life in our own strength, and we will utterly fail. The Bible tells us to be strong IN THE POWER OF HIS MIGHT.

This is why the Apostle Paul could say in 2nd Corinthians 12:9-10, “And he said unto me, My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness. Most gladly therefore will I rather glory in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me. Therefore I take pleasure in infirmities, in reproaches, in necessities, in persecutions, in distresses for Christ's sake: for when I am weak, then am I strong.”

The Blood of the Lamb

I can't tell you how many times the Holy Spirit has comforted me with the Words of Hebrews 4:15-16, “For we have not an high priest which cannot be touched with the feeling of our infirmities; but was in all points tempted like as we are, yet without sin. Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need.” What a wonderful PROMISE from God! The throne of grace is mine to approach for help, because of the precious blood of Jesus!

What was forbidden to all Old Testament saints except the high priest (i.e., entering into the holy of holies) is freely available to us today through Christ's blood. Yet, so many of us neglect and take for granted our privilege as born-again believers to approach God's throne of grace. We are so undeserving. Thank God for the literal blood of Jesus which gives us the victory over sin if we want it. Revelation 12:11, “And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony; and they loved not their lives unto the death.”

All God expects from you dear saint of God is that you get back up when you fall, and simply KEEP TRYING. Pardon my reference to a secular movie, but I love what Alfred tells Bruce Wayne in the 2005 popular film 'Batman Begins,' when Mr. Wayne is watching his family's mansion burn to the ground at the bottom of a deep elevator shaft. Alfred says: “Why do we fall Sir? It is so that we can learn to pick ourselves up.” I love Alfred's helpful advice. What saith the Scripture? Proverbs 24:16, “For a just man falleth seven times, and riseth up again: but the wicked shall fall into mischief.”

I understand that by God's grace He resurrects us from dire circumstances (2nd Corinthians 1:8), and is our Rock unto whom we flee in a time of storm. Psalms 18:2, “The LORD is my rock, and my fortress, and my deliverer; my God, my strength, in whom I will trust; my buckler, and the horn of my salvation, and my high tower.” That being said, God has given every man a free will to exercise. Whether or not we get back up from a sinful fall is our decision alone. The Lord doesn't force Himself upon anyone. God has never forced any lost sinner to trust Christ. Calvinism is a perversion of God's grace and a pack of lies from Satan!

The Lord better than anyone understands our weaknesses, temptations and frailty as humans. Psalms 103:14, “For he knoweth our frame; he remembereth that we are dust.”

Proverbs 24:12, “If thou sayest, Behold, we knew it not; doth not he that pondereth the heart consider it? and he that keepeth thy soul, doth not he know it? and shall not he render to every man according to his works?” God is the keeper of every man's soul. It's not hard to grasp in lieu of the fact that God created the human race. The eyes of the Lord are in every place beholding the evil and the good. Hebrews 4:13, “Neither is there any creature that is not manifest in his sight: but all things are naked and opened unto the eyes of him with whom we have to do.”

Dear saint of God, KEEP TRYING. Don't give up! I love what Pastor Jack Hyles (1926-2001) said: “UNSHAKABLE FAITH COMES FROM HAVING YOUR FAITH SHAKEN.” The following passage of Scripture teaches us how to live right...

2nd Corinthians 10:3-6, “For though we walk in the flesh, we do not war after the flesh: (For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strong holds;) Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ; And having in a readiness to revenge all disobedience, when your obedience is fulfilled.”

This is not mere mind-control, it is being Spirit led as a child of God, bringing every thought into captivity unto obedience to God's inspired Word.

And I absolutely love verse 6, which teaches us to “REVENGE ALL DISOBEDIENCE.” That is, when you mess up and fall (as we all do regularly), we should have a burning desire and determination in our soul to never make that stupid mistake or commit that willful sin again. This is why a God-fearing Christian KEEPS TRYING, because we have the indwelling blessed Holy Spirit of God who convicts us about the sins in our life.

The wicked are not so, the Bible says, they instead deliberately KEEP SINNING. ...

Proverbs 2:10-14, “When wisdom entereth into thine heart, and knowledge is pleasant unto thy soul; Discretion shall preserve thee, understanding shall keep thee: To deliver thee from the way of the evil man, from the man that speaketh froward things; Who leave the paths of uprightness, to walk in the ways of darkness; Who rejoice to do evil, and delight in the frowardness of the wicked.”

Verse 14 caught my attention... “WHO REJOICE TO DO EVIL.” The wicked person couldn't care less about pleasing God, since they do not know Jesus as their personal Savior. The natural man (i.e., unsaved person) does not have the indwelling presence of God's Holy Spirit (Romans 8:9; 1st John 3:24; 1st Corinthians 3:16-17).

One of my favorite sermons by Pastor Jack Hyles is titled: 'If Thou Should Mark Iniquities, Who Could Stand' based upon Psalms 130:3, “If thou, LORD, shouldest mark iniquities, O Lord, who shall stand?” If the truth be known, no Christian is a shining example of what a child of God should be. We all have our ugly Skelton Closet full of bones.

The good Lord simply desires that we do better today than we did yesterday. What more can any Christian do? When the woman caught in the very act of adultery was dragged to Jesus' feet by a bunch of wicked Pharisee hypocrites, He did not condemn her. John 3:17, “For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved.” Jesus came into the world to save sinners, not condemn them (Luke 19:10). Satan on the other hand does nothing but accuse the brethren to condemn us before God our Father (Revelation 12:10). The Devil's days are numbered and he knows it (Revelation 12:12).

So, be encouraged Oh child of God, we serve a forgiving God who loves to pardon. You may be rotting in prison for the rest of your life because of your crimes, but in Heaven's legal system your record is spotless if your sins have been cleansed by the precious blood of the Lamb of God. Revelation 1:5, “And from Jesus Christ, who is the faithful witness, and the first begotten of the dead, and the prince of the kings of the earth. Unto him that loved us, and washed us from our sins in his own blood.”

God fully knows that we will fail regularly to live above sinning. It's impossible for any Christian to do, because we are still trapped in this troublesome fleshly body. Romans 7:18, “For I know that in me (that is, in my flesh,) dwelleth no good thing: for to will is present with me; but how to perform that which is good I find not.”

The good Lord loves to forgive. Micah 7:18, “Who is a God like unto thee, that pardoneth iniquity, and passeth by the transgression of the remnant of his heritage? he retaineth not his anger for ever, because he delighteth in mercy.” I cherish that Bible verse. A righteous person loves to forgive, just like our heavenly Father ;loves to forgive. Proverbs 19:11, “The discretion of a man deferreth his anger; and it is his glory to pass over a transgression.” All God expects of His redeemed children is that we keep trying with His strength through His indwelling Holy Spirit who guides, rebukes, comforts, leads, chastises, helps and convicts us as the Lord's dear saints.

A godly Christian, despite our many flaws and sins, KEEP TRYING to obey the Holy Bible, please God, win souls with the Gospel and do better today than we did in the past.
