Seventh-Day Adventism Is A Non-Christian Cult

Galatians 1:8-9, “But though we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel unto you than that which we have preached unto you, let him be accursed. As we said before, so say I now again, If any man preach any other gospel unto you than that ye have received, let him be accursed.”

Sadly, a lot of religious people nowadays merely have CHURCHIANITY instead of CHRISTIANITY! Satan's greatest weapon is to con people into living the Christian life without ever being born-again! That is what Seventh-Day Adventists (SDA) are doing. For an unlearned believer on the Scriptures, they are a difficult cult to refute, because they claim salvation is by grace alone, through faith alone, in Christ alone. SDA's even had the famous apologetic author, Dr. Walter Martin (1928-1989) deceived, who in his classic helpful book titled: 'THE KINGDOM OF THE CULTS' (entire .PDF book), refers to SDA's as a “CHRISTIAN CULT.” Folks, there ain't no such thing as a “Christian cult”! 

I tell you confidently with all Biblical authority that Seventh-Day Adventism is a Satanic religious cult. They have approximately 21,000,000 members worldwide.

The SDA Heresy Of Investigative Judgment

Here is what SDA's teach, right from their own official website...

In 1844, at the end of the prophetic period of 2300 days, He [Jesus] entered the second and last phase of His atoning ministry, which was typified by the work of the high priest in the most holy place of the earthly sanctuary. It is a work of investigative judgment which is part of the ultimate disposition of all sin, typified by the cleansing of the ancient Hebrew sanctuary on the Day of Atonement. 

...The investigative judgment reveals to heavenly intelligences who among the dead are asleep in Christ and therefore, in Him, are deemed worthy to have part in the first resurrection. It also makes manifest who among the living are abiding in Christ, keeping the commandments of God and the faith of Jesus, and in Him, therefore, are ready for translation into His everlasting kingdom. This judgment vindicates the justice of God in saving those who believe in Jesus. It declares that those who have remained loyal to God shall receive the kingdom. The completion of this ministry of Christ will mark the close of human probation before the Second Advent. What you just read the Bible calls, “STRANGE DOCTRINES” (Hebrews 13:9b). SDA's require WORKS for salvation, as you just read. They say you must KEEP GOD'S COMMANDMENTS (water baptism, observing the Sabbath Day, doing good works, tithing, et cetera). If you go into the world and quit church, living in gross immorality, then according to SDA teaching you are NOT READY FOR THE TRANSLATION INTO GOD'S KINGDOM, which means you will not be resurrected because you have been proven unworthy (so you are annihilated). 

Another strange doctrine taught by SDA prophetess, Ellen G. White (1827-1915), is that a believer's sins won't be blotted out until after the INVESTIGATIVE JUDGMENT...

“But, according to the unerring word of God, every man will be judged and rewarded according as his works have been, and we are admonished to so speak and to so do as 'they that shall be judged by the law of liberty.' When sin has been repented of, confessed, and forsaken, then pardon is written against the sinner's name; but his sins are not blotted out until after the investigative judgment.” —Ellen White, 'The Signs of the Times,' May 16, 1895

Dear reader, there is NO SUCH THING as the doctrine of Investigative Judgment, it is a fabricated false doctrine exclusive to Seventh-Day Adventism. If you are a member of the SDA church (cult), you MUST choose between the truth of God's Word, or the manmade religion of Seventh-Day Adventism. I marvel that 21,000,000 people could be so blind and foolish as to follow such an obvious false religion. 

Whereas the Bible plainly teaches that there is a literal place called “Hell,” where Christ-rejecters suffer torment and pain in fire, SDA leaders deny Hell altogether. 

The Bible teaches that salvation is a NEW BIRTH, which happens instantly and is irreversible. The very moment that a needy sinner trusts upon the Lord Jesus Christ as their personal Savior, receiving Christ's sacrifice on the cross as payment for their sins, they are saved. 'THE GOSPEL' (i.e., 'GOOD NEWS') is the death, burial and resurrection of Jesus Christ (1st Corinthians 15:1-4). The very moment that a guilty sinner BELIEVES the Gospel, receiving Christ's sacrifice on the cross as payment for their sins, they are saved instantly, completely and eternally. God can read your mind, and He knows when you place your reliance in His only begotten Son. John 6:47, “Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me hath everlasting life.” SDA is a false religion, adding human effort to the Gospel, a form of Calvinist Lordship Salvation. 

Baptismal Regeneration Heresy

Here's the SDA website, at www.adventist.org, which teaches Baptismal Regeneration. The following LIE of Satan is taken from their website: 

"To help us understand how God can transform us into His children, Jesus modeled the process of baptism for us. Baptism symbolized dying to self and coming alive in Jesus. Seventh-day Adventists practice full immersion baptism because by being fully buried beneath the water we symbolize that God's grace fully fills us with His new life for the future. Through baptism we are truly born again in Jesus." [emphasis added] —SOURCE (2nd paragraph from bottom)

What a lie of Satan! No where in the Word of God are we ever told that baptism saves. 

Lutherans and other Bible-corrupters like to manipulate 1st Peter 3:21, "The like figure whereunto even baptism doth also now save us (not the putting away of the filth of the flesh, but the answer of a good conscience toward God,) by the resurrection of Jesus Christ." Usually, the heretics will just take a few words out of this Scripture, failing to quote the entire verse. If a person were only to consider the phrase, "...baptism doth also now save us," then they might get the WRONG impression that baptism is essential to going to Heaven. 

However, if we read the rest of the verse, then the truth is clearly seen... "not the putting away of the filth of the flesh, but the answer of a good conscience toward God." Being water baptized cannot forgive our sins. In fact, getting baptized will just get you wet! 1st Peter 3:21 states that baptism is the "like figure." Romans 6:5-6 plainly teaches that baptism is only the "likeness" of the Gospel, not the Gospel itself. Ironically, SDA's state this on the the above webpage, which is extremely CONTRADICTORY. How can baptism be "symbolic" if it also has the POWER to save. Read their heretical statement again:

"Through baptism we are truly born again in Jesus." —Adventist.org

What a lie of Satan! You can argue with me all you want, the SDA quote above, requiring baptism for salvation, speaks for itself. Romans 1:16 declares that the Gospel is the "power" of God unto salvation, not baptism. Water baptism is not mentioned. SDA is a counterfeit religion of the Devil. I say that in love to warn others. In Bible Christianity, you simple get water baptized AFTER you are born-again, as a public profession of your faith in the Gospel. Going down under the water by immersion symbolizes Christ's death, and likewise His resurrection when coming up out of the water. It is that simple. Water baptism is the first step of obedience for a baby believer, but it NOT mandatory for salvation. 

Salvation Is A New Birth, Not An Ongoing Process

SDA's teach something very different than the Word of God, making salvation an ongoing PROCESS instead of an instant NEW BIRTH. In sharp contrast to the free grace Gospel, the SDA teaching of salvation is very different, where being born-again is the beginning of a PROCESS. According to the official doctrinal statement of the General Conference of Seventh-day Adventists.

SDA's teach that to have assurance of one's salvation, he or she must continue abiding in Christ. This is a form of Calvinism. No where in the Scriptures are we required to “continue abiding” in Christ in order to have the assurance of God's salvation. David repeatedly calls eternal life “THY” salvation, because God does the saving, not man. Our part is only to believe upon (trust upon) Jesus as the Christ who died for our sins, was buried and raised up three days later. That is 'The Gospel' (1st Corinthians 15:1-4). At this point what I have explained may seem trifle, but please continue reading and you will see how messed up SDA's are as a cult. 

I do not intend to “bash” different religions with my Bible preaching. God knows that my heart's sincere intent is to contend for the Christian faith, by comparing the teachings of religion to what the inspired Holy Bible teaches. If they do not match up in agreement, then THE BIBLE IS ALWAYS RIGHT! There is no controversy if you believe the Holy Bible!!! 

It is rather difficult for most newer Christians, to discern the doctrines of devils taught by the Seventh Day Adventist cult. It is impossible for unbelievers to detect them, which is why many unbelievers join SDA, as did the famous radio broadcaster Paul Harvey (1918-2009). This is sad and tragic, for Paul Harvey did not go to Heaven if he was a sincere follower of SDA (as it appears he was). One of the simplest ways to expose SDA is to focus on their teaching and understanding of salvation itself, especially their exclusive stranger doctrine called INVESTIGATIVE JUDGMENT! 

Christians Are Not On Salvation Probation

Notice again the damnable heresy of the General Conference of Seventh-day Adventists...

"The completion of this ministry of Christ will mark the close of human probation before the Second Advent. (Heb. 8:1-5; 4:14-16; 9:11-28; 10:19-22; 1:3; 2:16, 17; Dan. 7:9-27; 8:13, 14; 9:24-27; Num. 14:34; Eze. 4:6; Lev. 16; Rev. 14:6, 7; 20:12; 14:12; 22:12.)" [emphasis added]—SOURCE

“The close of human probation?” This is solid evidence against the demonic cult of Seventh-day Adventism, who teach that salvation is never complete nor secured in this lifetime. There is no true assurance of salvation in SDA, because they view salvation as a process that can be lost if a person does not continue to abide in Christ. I agree with Pastor Harry Ironside (1876-1951), who said he believed in the Perseverance Of The Holy Spirit in a believer, not the Perseverance Of The Saints. The former depends solely upon God's faithfulness to keep His promise “TO SAVE THEM THAT BELIEVE” (1st Corinthians 1:21b); but the latter depends upon man's faithfulness to obey God, which is a works-based counterfeit plan of salvation. 

SDA's teach that all believers are on “probation” after being born-again, and the life they live will determine whether or not Christ finds them “worthy” of salvation. SDA is a totally 100% works-based false religion that wraps itself deceitfully in a fraudulent shell of claiming salvation by grace through faith. The truth is that once a person becomes a born-again child of God, the Holy Spirit comes in to indwell that believer, never to depart, and the Holy Spirit seals that believer for ever (2nd Corinthians 1:22; Ephesians 1:13; Ephesians 4:30). The Holy Spirit is our seal, God's downpayment on that which He has redeemed with the precious blood of Jesus Christ. Amen! My sins were washed away by the blood of Jesus the day I was saved at age 13. I was saved on the spot—irrevocably, permanently and eternally and irreversibly! Hallelujah!

Eternal life is not a reward for good behavior as SDA's teach. NO ONE is worthy of salvation. Salvation is receiving, not giving. Remember that eternal life is a free gift. All you do to have a gift is receive it. If you believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God Who died, was buried and rose again for your sins, and you make that you're hope for Heaven, then you're saved. Christ died, that's history; Christ died for me, that's salvation!

Here you can plainly see that Adventists do indeed teach a works-based false plan of salvation. In order to be deemed “worthy” to partake in the first resurrection (Revelation 20:6), a believer is required to abide in Christ, keep God's Commandments and maintain faith in Jesus. That's not the Biblical free grace Gospel. Keeping God's Commandments is not part of the Gospel. The faith that bringeth salvation does not have to be maintained to keep salvation. Eternal life is a GIFT according to the Holy Bible, that you simply receive by childlike faith. 

The purpose of God's LAW is to show us our SINNERSHIP, that all the world may become guilty before God (Romans 3:19). In other words, you need to recognize yourself as A NEEDY SINNER, so you will see your need for redemption in Jesus Christ! The Law shows us the awfulness of our sins, our misery and inability to please God in our own self-righteousness, and points us to the wonderful Savior who gave His life to die on Calvary's cross to pay for our sins (Galatians 3:24-25). No one is worthy of salvation!!! We all deserve to got straight to Hell to burn forever! By the way, SDA's totally deny the existence of a literal place called Hell, because they reason that a God of love would never do that to anyone! SDA's are taking an awful BIG RISK by betting there is no real place of Hell. 

Revelation 5:4 and 9, “And I wept much, because no man was found worthy to open and to read the book, neither to look thereon. ... And they sung a new song, saying, Thou art worthy to take the book, and to open the seals thereof: for thou wast slain, and hast redeemed us to God by thy blood out of every kindred, and tongue, and people, and nation.”

Amen! no man is worthy, but the Lamb of God is worthy. Jesus Christ is worthy!!!

Those people who are genuinely saved (born again) will die IN THE LORD. Revelation 14:13, “And I heard a voice from heaven saying unto me, Write, Blessed are the dead which die in the Lord from henceforth: Yea, saith the Spirit, that they may rest from their labours; and their works do follow them.” Notice that a believer's works “FOLLOW,” they do not precede. We are not saved by self-righteous works.

Our works follow us to the Judgment Seat of Christ (2nd Corinthians 5:9-11). The Lord saves us by grace through faith. Salvation is instant, and we are born anew of the Spirit of Christ (Romans 8:9). We become a member of God's family—the kingdom of God—the moment we are saved. We are spiritually the children of Abraham, with God being our same heavenly Father (Galatians 3:26-29).

Jesus Will Profess To Them: 'I Never Knew You!'

SDA's will be judged at The Great White Throne Of Judgment (Revelation 20:11-15, where Jesus will “profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity” (Matthew 7:23).

Matthew 7:21-23, “Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven. Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works? And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.”

And here is the will of the Father according to the Lord Jesus Himself...

John 6:40, “And this is the will of him that sent me, that every one which seeth the Son, and believeth on him, may have everlasting life: and I will raise him up at the last day.”

The will of the Father is to believe on Christ, the Lamb of God. Notice that the Bible does not say to keep all God's Commandments and to abide in Christ throughout your life to be saved as SDA's foolishly teach. Adventists are unsaved heretics, on their way to the Lake of Fire. There's only one way, and that way is Jesus Christ.

Catholics say they love Jesus, while bowing to Mary and echoing vain repetitions to “Mary, Mary, Mary.” They are in utter demonic denial of their sad and lost sinful state. Likewise, Seventh-day Adventists claim to trust upon the Lord Jesus, while also adding water baptism, keeping the Sabbath Day, tithing and all the Commandments of God to their so-called “faith.” Faith in what? Seventh-day Adventism? That's exactly where SDA's have placed their faith... in a manmade religion that is going to take them all to the fires of Hell.

I say this kindly, but with a fervent desire that some Adventists will read this article and repent toward God, believing the Gospel to be saved.

Seventh-Day Adventism is a Satanic Deception

Seventh-day Adventism is easy to pick apart if you focus on their bizarre and exclusive false doctrine of “Investigative Judgment.” Back in the 19th century, a wayward minister named William Miller crunched some numbers and prophesied that the Lord would return in 1844. Over 10,000 Millerites (as they were called) quit their jobs and sold all their worldly possessions, including their homes. When Jesus didn't return, there was panic. Something had to be done quick. So someone came up with the notion that Miller had misinterpreted the prophecy, and that in actuality Christ had entered into the Holy of Holies in Heaven to begin His work of “Investigative Judgment.”

It is tragic that men and women, in their woeful stubbornness and pride, are willing to corrupt the Scriptures in order to justify their foolishness and sin. SDA wouldn't exist today if it were not for the foolishness of William Miller, who errantly predicted the Lord's return in 1844. SDA was born out of a failed prophecy!!! This fact alone proves incontrovertibly that SDA is a scam, a hoax, and a false religion rooted in man's sinful pride and wickedness. 

I plead with you to forsake the Seventh-Day Adventist false religion if you are a victim. Acts 16:31 is the only invitation which God ever gave for men to be saved—"Believe upon the Lord Jesus Christ and thou shalt be saved."
