I just heard about the Florida shooting. The daily news is so negative that I try not to follow it too closely, but I do think it is important to stay informed to some degree. I usually watch Lester Holt weeknights on NBC.
I agree with President Trump, who said yesterday that guns don't kill people, people kill people. In this particular case in Florida (where a 20 year old young man took his mother's service gun and murdered two fellow students), it is the irresponsible mother's fault, who works as a deputy sheriff. She should have had her service gun locked up in a secure gun safe. Since we never know what is going through someone else's mind, we must take precautions. Always be on guard.
Guns aren't the problem. Our morally deteriorating culture is the problem! Kids and teens are brats today. I have been bullied at most jobs I have worked throughout my life. I was horribly bullied in school as a kid. I was beat up walking home from grade school, had my neck burned with a hot pen in 5th grade by a punk student, got beat up in the school coat room in 3rd grade, was pushed down in an alley by a gang on the way to the dentist as a teen, et cetera. It doesn't surprise me why kids, teens and adults snap. I was bullied even worse by wicked adults in the secular workplace. The kids do like their wicked parents. People are wicked sinners!
Our wicked government removed prayer and Bible reading from all public (government) schools, since 1962, which has been the nails in our coffin as a country. It's not hard to figure out why American society is a disaster today. Our culture's music videos and movies exalt sexual immorality and all manner of filth and evil. We've allowed the Devil to destroy us with our freedom. The Bible says in Daniel that "by peace" the Antichrist "shall destroy many." That is, Satan will destroy us with the very liberty that made us free. Humanity is doomed because of sin. Mankind is inherently evil, even though I think most people are good in character (as far as sinners go). Most people don't want to hurt their neighbours, but we all have the potential to commit horrible sins.
From what I have seen in the news, most of the active shooter situations involve youth today. Children need Jesus! Our government (federal and state) always seem to have money for the wrong things, but don't invest in our youth to keep them off the streets. Our foolish government spent a staggering $6,200,000,000,000 just on the illegal Iraqi war (2003-2011) that the U.S. congress never approved. George W Bush is an evil monstrous war criminal. His evil CIA father (who attended the Episcolapian church where Wiccan witches also attend) is already burning in Hell forever. Truly, Satan is the god of this world (2nd Corinthians 4:4).
Pastor Lester Roloff (1914-1982) said it very well: "America was 'great' when she was good, and she was good when she had great churches." Those days are long gone! The television since the 1950's has replaced the local church in popularity. The vast majority of churches thriving in attendance today are apostate cults! Sadly, 99% of local churches are spiritually dead. Most churches are almost empty and only elderly people attend. Nearly all of our churches died a long time ago. Pastors are no longer Bible preachers. Hardly any pastors contend for the faith anymore. They just want an easy life, and to collect their undeserved paycheck. There is a wicked spirit of lull over our churches and nation today, so that no one really cares anymore about fearing and pleasing God.
Things will only wax much worse! Homelessness is just getting started across the country. The economy will get worse. The Federal Reserve since 1913 is a massive Ponzi Scheme which is destined to utterly fail. The only way to keep the scam going is to continue the reckless government's debt spending. I honestly think President Trump's efforts to knock down our nation's $36,000,000,000,000 in debt will only encourage the next Democrat President to spend four times more (trillions)! Jesus warned that a house divided cannot continue to stand. Brother Lester Roloff was right: "We're in insanity because of sin."

I was shocked to learn last year that on average there have been at least 600 mass shooting across the United States every year, for over the past 10 years. Morality cannot be legislated! There are already over one million existing guns laws, codes and regulations, which hasn't stopped the murders. And if our government eventually does (and I assure you that THEY WILL) ban guns and ammunition sales, young people will simply use the family car to murder their victims instead. Since October of 2022, Canada has banned the sale, purchase or trade of guns nationwide. That tyranny will ultimate come to the United States. We will be in even more big trouble when only the government jackboot thugs have guns and the public doesn't. Look what happened in 1936 Spain when the people were forced to surrender their guns.
That scenario COULD happen again in America! The people found themselves helpless, unarmed. I refuse to own a gun because I don't trust myself with one, but I am a strong advocate for the Second Amendment right to arm bears, I mean bear arms. Right now we are experiencing the illusion of freedom in America. Tyranny is rarely seen except by those oppressed by it. Our elderly people in the United States, who have to take bus trips to Canada to purchase affordable prescription drugs, certainly don't feel "free." Pain sufferers like myself, who cannot obtain anything more than the least amount of pain drugs, certainly don't feel like we live in a "free" society.
Ask the 65,000,000 murdered American babies in the womb since 1973 if they feel like this is a "free" country. Or ask the afflicted man that I used to work with in Chicago, whose wife commit adultery and got pregnant by another man, and then the ungodly judge forced the woman's betrayed husband to pay child support for the bastard child, if he feels like this is a "free" country.
