The Damnable Martin Luther Deception

2nd Peter 2:1, “But there were false prophets also among the people, even as there shall be false teachers among you, who privily shall bring in damnable heresies...”

Our fundamental Bible churches today are filled with naive believers who view Martin Luther (1483-1546) as a great hero of the faith. Tragically, Martin Luther was a heretic! I realize this comes as a shock to many Christians, but the proof is undeniable. The Biblical teaching of being saved by faith alone is often attributed to Martin Luther, but nothing could be further from the truth. Indeed, Luther and the other reformers did challenge the Roman Catholic church, for selling indulgences and offering a “works-based” type of salvation (among other co plaints). However, just because Martin Luther protested the Catholic church doesn't mean he was saved. Luther is famous for nailing his 95 thesis to the door of the church in Wittenberg, Germany in 1517. In his Large Catechism, Luther writes:

[I] affirm that Baptism is no human trifle, but that it was established by God Himself. Moreover, He earnestly and solemnly commanded that we must be baptized or we shall not be saved. No one is to think that it is an optional matter like putting on a red coat. It is of greatest importance that we hold Baptism in high esteem as something splendid and glorious. The reason why we are striving and battling so strenuously for this view of Baptism is that the world nowadays is full of sects that loudly proclaim that Baptism is merely an external form and that external forms are useless.... Although Baptism is indeed performed by human hands, yet it is truly God’s own action (1978, pp. 98-99). Where does the Holy Bible “solemnly command that we must be baptized or we shall not be saved”? From Luther’s own comments it is clear that he required water baptism for salvation. Hero of the faith? This is called the heresy of 'Baptismal Regeneration.' Many Protestant denominations today have been infected with Luther's damnable heresy. Sadly, most fundamental Bible-believing churches today have also been deceived, led to think of Martin Luther as a hero. Unless you think you must be water baptized to go to Heaven, you are bidding Godspeed to evil by promoting Martin Luther as a hero of the faith. If you want to promote Mr. Luther as a famous person, or a significant figure of the Reformation, fine; but it is wickedness and confusing to young people to recognize Luther as a Christian. You need to tell the truth that Martin Luther was an unsaved religious man, just like the Pope.

Mr. Luther was subtle, just as Satan is subtle—teaching that salvation is by partial faith in Christ plus ceremonial works. Martin Luther also required keeping the sacrament of holy communion, but the Bible does not agree with Mr. Luther. There is no such thing Biblically as a “sacrament.” Obviously, Luther didn't consider water baptism a self-righteous work, but it certainly is. Anything more required than simple childlike faith in the finished redemptive work of Jesus Christ is a false plan of salvation. The Word of God states in John 3:18, “He that believeth on him is not condemned...” I don't see any mention of “baptism” there. In 1st John 5:13 the apostle John stated the purpose of his Epistle: “These things have I written unto you that believe on the name of the Son of God; that ye may know that ye have eternal life.” Carefully notice that John never mentions baptism in 1st, 2nd, or 3rd John.

Salvation Is By Grace Alone Without Works

Romans 11:6 plainly tells us that if salvation is by works then it is no longer by grace—“And if by grace, then is it no more of works: otherwise grace is no more grace. But if it be of works, then is it no more grace: otherwise work is no more work.” If you add anything to simple childlike faith in Jesus Christ, then you have corrupted the Gospel. Martin Luther perverted the Gospel of free grace. Every hellbound Catholic today who speaks of faith, also believes that salvation comes by keeping the Seven Sacraments of the counterfeit church in Rome. As we just read in Romans 11:6, it cannot be BOTH! Catholicism and the Lutheran plan of salvation are a road straight to Hell, fire and damnation. The true Gospel is through grace alone, by faith alone, in Christ's death, burial and resurrection alone. This is 'THE GOSPEL' by which we are saved, if we believe (1st Corinthians 15:1-4). 

It is false teaching for anyone to claim that water baptism is necessary for salvation. If this were the case, then John WOULD have mentioned it. Romans 4:5 plainly states, “But to him that worketh not, but believeth on him that justifieth the ungodly, his faith is counted for righteousness.” There's NO mention of water baptism. In Acts 15:1 a group of false teachers came down to Judaea. They added circumcision to the Gospel, perverting grace, “And certain men which came down from Judaea taught the brethren, and said, Except ye be circumcised after the manner of Moses, ye cannot be saved.” Wicked men are always adding more to salvation than what God requires. Martin Luther was a devil-dog preacher, adding water baptism and communion to grace alone, which is “another Gospel.” 

Galatians 1:6-9, “I marvel that ye are so soon removed from him that called you into the grace of Christ unto another gospel: Which is not another; but there be some that trouble you, and would pervert the gospel of Christ. But though we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel unto you than that which we have preached unto you, let him be accursed. As we said before, so say I now again, If any man preach any other gospel unto you than that ye have received, let him be accursed.”

The Holy Bible defines 'The Gospel' (meaning: 'Good News' or 'Glad Tidings') for us in 1st Corinthians 15:1-4, namely, Christ DIED on the cross for our sins, He was BURIED, and then He RESURRECTED physically three days later. If you'll simply come to God dear friend as a needy sinner, receiving the 'GOOD NEWS' that I just shared with you, then you will immediately have eternal life. God promises it! John 6:47, “Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me hath everlasting life.” Titus 1:2, “In hope of eternal life, which God, that cannot lie, promised before the world began;” 

Friend, who are you going to believe, Martin Luther or God's Word? Ironically, I was reading the website of the Evangelical Lutheran Synod (ELS) today in Minnesota. I read their page titled, 'What Is A Lutheran?' on which they make the statement: “Lutherans are Christians who believe that all Christian teachings should come from God’s Word, the Bible.” Do they really believe that? No, they do not! If you look on the drop down menu under what they believe, you'll see Luther's Small Catechism, which states concerning baptism:

“Baptism effects forgiveness of sins, delivers from death and the devil, and gives eternal salvation to all who believe this, just as the words and promises of God declare.” —Martin Luther, small catechism, baptism [emphasis added]

What Satanic lies and deception! In the same small catechism, Luther errantly states: “Baptism is not just water.” Folks, yes it is just water! When you go down under water by immersion in baptism, you are just getting wet. There is no special grace bestowed upon you! Proof of what I say is found in Mark 16:16, “He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned.” If baptism saves a person (as Mr. Luther foolishly claims), then how could a person be damned who got baptized? The Bible is very clear that only the person who “BELIEVETH NOT” is damned!!! Sadly, unless he repented on his deathbed, Martin Luther is burning in the fires of Hell this moment and for all eternity, please do not join him by following his unbiblical teachings. Romans 3:4, “God forbid: yea, let God be true, but every man a liar; as it is written, That thou mightest be justified in thy sayings, and mightest overcome when thou art judged.”
