It Makes No Sense, But I'll Trust God Anyhow

Proverbs 3:5-7, “Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths. Be not wise in thine own eyes: fear the LORD, and depart from evil.”

Why did Brother Lester Roloff (1914-1982) die in a old broken down plane that broke apart in the air, when rich people wastefully spend money? I read about a wealthy man in Hollywood who was spending $100,000 each for bottles of wine at a party. Of all the filthy rich people in America, you'd think some of them would help genuine men of God. Many of them could have bought Brother Roloff a new plane to fly in, and it would have been like spending pennies on the dollar for them. The surest way to stay broke is to preach the truth like Brother Roloff did! If you lie and deceive people like Pat Robertson, you'll take in $670,000,000 a year like The 700 Club does. They are devils!

Why does God open the womb of a woman who is a drug-addict, giving birth to a crack baby addicted to drugs because of the child's irresponsible mama; but a godly woman who loves the Lord has a barren womb? I just don't understand it. Why does God open the womb of tens of millions of women who want abortions, but godly women who pray thousands of hours for a child are still barren? It's not fair.

Why cannot I find a Christian wife to be loyal and serve God by my side as a faithful preacher of the Word of God, but wicked adulterous men with lustful hearts get all the women they want who live in sin? It's not fair.

Why did Pastor Jack Hyles (1926-2001) die and go to Heaven at age 74, the greatest soulwinner I ever knew; but a degenerate sex pervert like Hugh Hefner (1926-2017)  lived to be 91 years old? God makes no sense to me! I cannot figure it out.

Why is abortion is so bad if every baby goes to Heaven, but most adults will spend eternity burning in the Lake of Fire according to Matthew 7:13-14 and Luke 13:23-24? I cannot explain that contradiction, but God said not to kill in Exodus 20:13. God is always right!!! Life doesn't make any sense to me.

Why do we have to make all of the critical life-changing decisions when we are young and the most ignorant; but when we are old and broken with no decisions left to make, then we have the wisdom to make the right decisions? That seems backwards to me. Why does God do that to us? I don't get it. It doesn't seem fair to me, but I trust God. Job 13:15, “Though he slay me, yet will I trust in him: but I will maintain mine own ways before him.

Isaiah 55:8-9, “For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, saith the LORD. For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts.”

  3. After pondering last night on that beautiful thought you shared yesterday🤔... this is what came to my mind. If God made it backwards (as you said), we won't err anymore and that is bad for us humans coz our tendency is to become proud and God hates that and so because He is truly "all-knowing," He wants us to learn the hard way so we will appreciate and depend on Him more. You made a beautiful "food for thought" my dear friend. Thank you and I love you in the Lord Jesus!😊
