What I find so intriguing is that most churches today don't even hate evil. They don't expose false prophets. They don't do anything escept play church Sunday after Sunday. They might do some good works, giving out handouts to the needy and helping folks randomonly, but there is no contending for the faith. Nor do they go soulwinning. The church that I just described is WORSE than the church at Ephesus. If the Lord was frustrated with the church at Ephesus, I can only imgine how Jesus feels about today's pathetic churches across America.
Having said that, if we are not careful the church can actually become a type of inoculation which keeps us from walking with God and growing in grace. God never intended for the church to keep us spiritual. God never intended for the pastor to become our sole source of truth. What if your pastor is incompetent theologically? What if he is actually preaching the Devil's lie of Lordship Salvation? We need to be as the noble Bereans in the Bible, who searched the Scripture daily on their own, to verify if the things they heard taught were actually biblical (Acts 17:10-11).
Please don't allow Sunday morning worship at church to become your coffin.
The local church was intended by God to be a "called out assembly" (Greek: ecclesia) of saints for the purpose of encouragement, comfort, edification and to build up families; not a mere place of worship. We are supossed to worship God 10,080 minutes a week. It is also the job of the church to carry out The Great Commission.
I heard a pastor a couple years ago teach his congregation that it is NOT the church's job to go soulwinning. He said it is our individual responsibility as saints to go soulwinning. That is wrong! If a pastor doesn't organization, teach, schedule and lead his people to go soulwinning, IT WON'T GET DONE! Pastor Jack Hyles was so right, "The most important job is the one that doesn't get done." The job of soulwinning is not getting done nowadays, because pastors have slacked off and no longer want to do it. They don't teach, organize of schedule a time each week for the church to go knocking on doors.
All across America every Sunday congregations meet to honor, glorify and worship God; but the truth is not preached. Instead a false plan of salvation is propagated of Lordship Salvation and Wrong Repentance. The falsehood of Zionism is promoted, leading the churches into the Devil's New World Order. It is the apostate lukewarm Sunday morning worship across the United States, which has sadly inoculated Christians from contending for the faith, go door to door soulwinning, reject Zionism, reject Satan's corruptible seed, run Bus Ministries and become "hot" for Jesus Christ. The local church is one's surrogate family. I live alone in Pensacola. I have no family here. So, the local church is the only family that I have. They are special to me, not just because they are my kin in Christ, but also because they are the only family I have in Pensacola; and I am their family as well. I wish more churches would embrace people with this attitude, rather than quickly showing people the door for every little reason.

Nothing is going to change until we stop hiding behind our organized religion, and start walking with God in our private lives. When Peter and John walked with Jesus, they became bold to TELL THE TRUTH (Acts 4:13). I have boldly preached THE TRUTH against the apostate Bob Jones University cult since 2014, for which I was forced out and banned from attending the Harvest Baptist Church on Guam.
Sunday after Sunday most Baptist pastors go through the motions of playing church. No false prophets are exposed by name. No false doctrines are exposed. Lordship Salvation is not shunned. Wrong repentance is either taught, or not shunned. So the people (for the sheep that they are) believe eevry word and go unfed, malnourished. That is not to say that the pastor doesn't preach some great sermons. I have heard pastors preach excellent sermons week after week, but they don't warn their people about anything, except people like me who TELL THE TRUTH! Thus, they are bad pastors, at ease on Zion, complacent and indifferent.

A "hot" church unconditionally loves and cares about people, not just repentant sinners or their voted-in members (Jude 1:22). I am so tired of local churches treating non-official members as third party guests. If you are a born-again child of God, you are a member of the Church, whose foundation is Jesus Christ!

It didn't matter to their pastors and leaders that I apologized multiple times the next year in 2022, they are playing God with people's lives and wickedly refuse to reconcile with me. Since they still have the 9,999 sheep, they couldn't care less about the 1 lamb in need (me). PCC is a religious cult, a shameful disgrace to the cause of Jesus Christ, abusing whomever they want in their sinful huge wicked pride, egos and arrogance.
PCC are in trouble with God, a perfect example of dead Christendom today. PCC go through the superficial motions of playing church Sunday after Sunday, sporting with religious politics, raking in tens of millions of dollars, but they couldn't care less about INDIVIDUAL PEOPLE. That is why they won't allow me to come back to their Campus Church. What hateful people!!! I can name a handful of local churches that idolize PCC, defending them to the hills, no matter how wrong they are. That is wickedness, not the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ.

The vast majority of so-called "Christian" churches today merely have churchianity without Christianity. What we have today in most churches is Cotton Candy Religion, that is, it tastes good at first but then quickly dissolves into nothing. America is literally spiritually dying. Our nation is dying for a lack of preaching preachers, who cry aloud without apology or compromise against sin and spare not (Isaiah 58:1).
I cannot remember the last time I heard a Baptist pastor preach hard against the sins of fornication, adultery, abortion, public nudity, Hollywood, stealing, dishonoring parents, et cetera. The average Baptist pastor doesn't preach on the subject of Hell once every two years. Is it any wonder why young people today have abandoned churches? Young people are smart. They know fraud when they see it. Today's pastors are impotent, yuppie, Caspar Milquetoast type cowards, afraid to say it like it is against the evils of feminism, aboriton, LGBTQ perversion, government corruption and other forms of prevalent wickedness.
Young people are drawn to Rock stars because those singers are energetic, exciting and speak their minds. In sharp contrast, your average Baptist preacher today is a Clark Kent looking nerd, an incompetent idiot who is afraid to offend people, only interested in getting paid. I wouldn't want anything to do with that foolishness either!
Say what you will about Pastor Steven Anderson, but he has an army of followers. On any given Sunday their church averages 400 people. Young people either love or hate him, because everyone knows where he stands on the issues. Although I don't agree with all his methods or teaching, I respect and love Brother Anderson because the guy is 100% real. What you see is what you get! Young people want a preacher who is real, not a phony.
Nothing is hurting the cause of Jesus Christ today like dead churches—theologically incomperent pastors, uncaring congregations, superficially playing church, et cetera.
