Deceivers

"For many deceivers are entered into the world, who confess not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh. This is a deceiver and an antichrist." —2nd John 1:7

Do you have any idea just how many deceivers there are in the world? Far more than you or I could ever imagine. Few people would recognize Oprah Winfrey as a deceiver; but she certainly is. Oprah Winfrey is an unsaved modernist, who openly teaches people that Jesus Christ isn't the ONLY way to Heaven. In sharp contrast, John 14:6 declares that Jesus IS the ONLY way to Heaven, "Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me." The world is infested today with unbelieving deceivers, such as the heretics behind The Da Vinci Code, The Gospel of Judas, and The Jesus Papers. Don't be conned.

Ironically, the chief priests and the Pharisees of Jesus' day actually called Jesus a "deceiver."

"Now the next day, that followed the day of the preparation, the chief priests and Pharisees came together unto Pilate, Saying, Sir, we remember that that deceiver said, while he was yet alive, After three days I will rise again." —Matthew 27:62-63

Can you imagine? The Jewish religious leaders calling Jesus Christ, the Creator, a "deceiver." They were an evil bunch for sure. It's hard to imagine that the Jewish people actually looked up to these fakes and frauds for spiritual guidance—but they did! What the people received, instead of the truth, were the traditions of men—religion without truth (Mark 7:6-13). Things haven't changed at all in the past 2,000 years. People today still blindly follow countless hordes of religious leaders who know not God—such leaders as: the Pope, Benny Hinn, Herbert Armstrong, Ellen G. White, Charles T. Russell, Joseph Smith, Mary Baker Eddy, Confucius, Gandhi, Maitreya, Sun Myung Moon, Apollo C. Quiboloy, Ron Hubbard, Zoroaster, and countless more.

Are you foolish like the chief priests and Pharisees, who accused Jesus of being a deceiver? Whom do you say Jesus is: liar, lunatic, or Lord? There are many deceivers in the world; but, Jesus isn't one of them. Jesus Christ came to this world to save sinners; not condemn them (John 3:16-18). Yet many of those very sinners condemned Jesus. Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God, the Creator, and a Wonderful Savior. Won't you receive Christ's gift of eternal life now, by believing upon Jesus alone to forgive your sins. Christ shed His precious blood to pay for our sins, and only through faith in that blood can anyone go to Heaven. It is the blood of Jesus that takes our sins away; not religion or good works.

Anyone who denies the fundamental doctrines of the Word of God, and teaches heresy, is a deceiver. All Muslims are deceivers. 1st John 2:22 plainly calls them "liars" and "antichrists" ...

"Who is a liar but he that denieth that Jesus is the Christ? He is antichrist, that denieth the Father and the Son."

Muslims outright deny the Sonship of Jesus Christ; therefore, Islam is of the Devil. Islam is a damnable organization, who denies Jesus Christ. Don't believe the lie, not for one second--that Muslims and Christians worship the SAME God. No, we don't! The Koran clearly states in, The Women 4.171, that God has NO Son. In sharp contrast, John 3:16 in the Word of God declares that God DOES have a Son, "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life." The Koran even goes as far as to claim that Jesus never died, nor was He crucified (The Women, 4.157). Clearly, Islam and Christianity are DIAMETRICALLY opposed.

The sneaky Devil comes to us through MANY false prophets today, even President George W. Bush, who falsely claims that Christians and Muslims worship the SAME God. Allah is a pagan god, who has no son. Jesus Christ is Almighty God (John 10:33; Revelation 1:8), the second Person of the Godhead (John 1:1-3,10; Matthew 28:19-20), the Christ (Luke 2:11), and He is the Son of God (John 3:16)! 1st John 4:14 declares, "And we have seen and do testify that the Father sent the Son to be the Saviour of the world." A shocking 1,600,000,000 Muslims worldwide deny Jesus as the Savior, and are sadly headed straight for Hell.

New Age philosophy teaches that there are many ways to "the light." This light is none other than Lucifer (Satan) himself (2nd Corinthians 11:13-14), but New Agers don't realize it. Many religions today, by means of ecumenicalism, are being drawn into a developing one-world order religion (the beast system). These deceived churches believe that there are many paths to god (the light), and all that matters is one's sincerity of heart. To the contrary, we read in Proverb 16:25, “There is a way that seemeth right unto a man, but the end thereof are the ways of death.” Clearly, there is a right way, and a wrong way. In the case of salvation, there is ONLY one right way, and that is through Jesus Christ alone.

The Word of God specifically defines who God is—Jesus Christ! That is, the Godhead became incarnate and manifest Himself to mankind in the fleshly body of our Lord Jesus Christ (Colossians 2:9). There is NO feminine side of God. The Bible puts forth God the FATHER, and God the SON, but no mention is made of a "mother." Mary is NOT the mother of God, but of the “man” Jesus. God has no mother! Christ was miraculously conceived of the Holy Spirit, not by a human father. Jesus' deity was the work of the Holy Spirit, not Mary. God blessed Mary in allowing her to provide Christ's physical body, but the Holy Spirit gave Jesus His deity and power. This biblical doctrine is important to grasp because the New Age movement, Wicca witchcraft and feminist theology all errantly teach that God has a feminine side.

Counterfeit Bible Revisions

There are now literally HUNDREDS of English Bible revisions! The Bible teaches in 1st Corinthians 14:33 that God is not the author of confusion. Having more than one Holy Bible is confusing, let alone hundreds! According to the American Bible Society (ABS), there are approximately 900 different English Bible versions (That is insane!):

I am afraid no one can give you an exact number for the English translations and paraphrases of the Bible printed since Tyndale's New Testament of 1526. In part this is due to the difficulty of determining what should be defined as a new translation as opposed to a correction or a revision of an existing translation. There is the additional question of how we should count translations that include not a complete Bible or Testament, but just a group of books or even a single book. And then, of course, there is the difficulty of sheer numbers. With all these caveats in mind, the number of printed English translations and paraphrases of the Bible, whether complete or not, is about 900. [emphasis added]

I know Independent Baptist churches where multiple plans of salvation are permitted and taught. Again, what saith the Scripture? 1st Corinthians 14:11, “For God is not the author of confusion, but of peace, as in all churches of the saints.” Here's THE UGLY TRUTH ABOUT THE DIFFERENT BIBLE VERSIONS TODAY, WHICH ARE ANYTHING BUT HONEST SCHOLARSHIP. Please don't become the Devil's fool. Get an inspired King James Bible and love it, defend it, cherish it, read it, mediate on it, memorize it, proclaim it, study it, obey it and abide (live) therein!

God only authored ONE BOOK, and I believe that is the inspired King James Bible. The modern Bible revisions may seem easier to reader, but they are corrupted doctrinally, which means they are useless.

Beware of Satan's Deception of Lordship Salvation

One of the biggest deceptions today is the Devil's fraud of Lordship Salvation. What is this? 

“Lordship Salvation is the unsupportable and unbiblical belief that the performance of good works, the promise of good works, or the evidence of good works, must accompany faith in Christ to establish or provide evidence that such faith has resulted in eternal life.” —Pastor Ralph Yankee Arnold, “Jesus Versus John MacArthur”

Amen! That's right. Lordship Salvation foolishly teaches that more than faith is required to get to Heaven. But false prophets will lie. They will claim that salvation is by faith alone, while at the same time lying, saying that you have to turn away from your sinful bad habits to e to Heaven. That is WORKS, not God's GRACE! Most false prophets are sincerely in denial, caught between grace and works. Biblically, faith is the only righteous thing that I can do.

Anyone who says that you must “repent of your sins” is a liar. Repentance in the Bible simply means “a change of mind,” but ungodly preachers embellish the word to mean a bunch of other things, like forsaking a lifestyle of sinning (which is WORKS). That is not what repentance means. The Greek word for “repent” in Mark 1:15 is “metanoeo,” which means “to think differently.” Woefully ignorant pastors ass-u-me that this word means to radically think differently so that you no longer desire to commit sin. They have inadvertently added works to grace, so that the Gospel is no longer the Gospel and cannot produce the new birth.

Have You Been Deceived?

There is no way that one blog could possible expose all of the deceptions and deceivers in the world. By the grace of God I have tried to expose many of them. It is my desire and prayer that God will continue to bless as I try to help others find the truth of God's Word. The world is being deceived. We as true born again Christians must not remain idle in these last perilous days. Won't you join me in contending for the faith and leading lost sinners to Jesus Christ?

Dear reader, the way to ensure that you are never deceived is to become grounded in the inspired Word of God. The Apostle Paul bragged on the Bereans in Acts 17:10-11, because they didn't just believe what he taught them, they went home and daily searched the Scriptures to verify those things. Paul was impressed. Paul also mentioned that he was disappointed with the Thessalonicans for not searching the Scriptures. Thus, it is not surprising that in 2nd Thessalonians chapter 2, Paul rebukes them for not listening when he had previously met with them, and taught them about Christ's return. I don't know about you, but I am a Berean. I search the Scriptures daily to verify everything that I hear preachers say, to confirm if it is the truth, or if they don't know what they're talking about.

No one can deceive you friend if you do your homework. God's indwelling Holy Spirit will guide you into all truth (John 16:13).
