A Lesson From Gideon In The Book Of Judges

Judges 6:13, “And Gideon said unto him, Oh my Lord, if the LORD be with us, why then is all this befallen us? and where be all his miracles which our fathers told us of, saying, Did not the LORD bring us up from Egypt? but now the LORD hath forsaken us, and delivered us into the hands of the Midianites.”

The United States doesn't deserve God's blessing. I attended a Hawaiian music event in 2008 in Honolulu. I was there on the island of Oahu for medical reasons. At the end of the musical concert, everybody joined hands to sing: "God Bless America." I just couldn't sing that song, because America has become worse than Sodom. I was the only one of about 40 people not singing. I have no regrets for not participating. I hate what America has become.

From legalized abortion to legalized same-sex marriage (perversion), from social covetousness and corporate greed to the fraudulent Federal Reserve Ponzi Scheme, from lying politicians to lying preachers, from corrupt so-called "Bible" colleges like Pensacola Christian College (who deny that we have an inspired Holy Bible today) to the damnable cult at Bob Jones University who promote the Devil's tainted Bible versions, from shady manipulative business policies to cutthroat lawyers, from an epidemic of fornication and adultery to the super ease of getting a divorce, from wicked Hollywood to the Satanic music industry, from massive government recklessness and blatant theft of taxpayer money to the open borders that are destroying our stability as a nation, from the deadly lies of Lordship Salvation and misunderstood repentance to the abundance of demonic religious cults across the nation — I pray for God to damn this ungodly country!

Someone recently asked me why God won't answer their prayers. I then directed him to 𝗝𝘂𝗱𝗴𝗲𝘀 𝟲:𝟭, "𝗔𝗻𝗱 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗰𝗵𝗶𝗹𝗱𝗿𝗲𝗻 𝗼𝗳 𝗜𝘀𝗿𝗮𝗲𝗹 𝗱𝗶𝗱 𝗲𝘃𝗶𝗹 𝗶𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝘀𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗟𝗢𝗥𝗗: 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗟𝗢𝗥𝗗 𝗱𝗲𝗹𝗶𝘃𝗲𝗿𝗲𝗱 𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗺 𝗶𝗻𝘁𝗼 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗵𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗼𝗳 𝗠𝗶𝗱𝗶𝗮𝗻 𝘀𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗻 𝘆𝗲𝗮𝗿𝘀." Gideon was very frustrated about what he saw happening to Israel. Gideon didn't understand why the Midianites were afflicting the Jews an succeeding, and it seemed as if God was nowhere to be found. Gideon questioned the promises of God, asking where were the miracles which he had read and heard about from times past concerning the Christian patriarchs.

But we get to see as viewers reading the Holy Bible what Gideon could not see, that Israel's wickedness had removed God's hand of blessing, and had brought evil upon the people and nation. Likewise, the United States and all of America is exceedingly wicked today. I humbly believe that God has removed His hand of blessing upon our nation, long ago. Things are continually waxing worse and worse each year, with no improvement in sight. Our leaders are incompetent, fighting against one another. Jesus warned that a house divided cannot stand. We are a house divided.

When I read Revelation chapter 18 about a nation that will be utterly destroyed by fire in just one hour, I cannot help but think that this describes the future total nuclear annihilation of the United States. China, North Korea and Russia are likely going to nuke the USA. We have obese feminist women, freaky transgendered men and weirdoes in charge of our U.S. military today, making us the laughing stock of the world. Where will all this insanity lead? It can only lead to the imminent destruction of the USA. But thankfully, we know that nothing can happen outside of God's permissive will.
