In his booklet titled, “The Second Coming Of Christ,” Dr. Curtis Hutson (1934-1995) teaches on page 11 concerning the Pretribulation Rapture. ...
Jesus Christ could come for His own at any moment. There are no signs that precede His coming. The Bible does not say to watch for signs but we are to watch for the Savior, the Son.
For instance, Philippians 3:20 states, “Our conversation [citizenship] is in heaven; from whence also we look for the Savior.” Not looking for signs but for the Savior.
Titus 2:13, “Looking for that blessed hope, and the glorious appearing of the great God and our Savior Jesus Christ.” Not looking for signs; looking for the Savior.
Hebrews 9:28, “ . . . And unto them that look for him shall he appear the second time without sin unto salvation.” We are not told to look for signs but for the Son, the Savior.
There are no signs that precede Christ's coming for His own. His coming is imminent and has been since New Testament times. The Apostle Paul thought Jesus Christ would come in his lifetime and said in I Thessalonians 4:17, “Then WE which are alive and remain . . .” Paul thought he would be living when Jesus came.
...The coming of Christ for His own is imminent. It could happen any second. No signs have to be fulfilled. He could have come day before yesterday. He could have come last year. He could have come in Paul's time. HE MAY COME TODAY! We are to live in constant expectancy of His coming.

Amen! We're not supposed to be watching for signs of Christ's return; but rather, LOOKING FOR CHRIST HIMSELF!!! Respectfully, Pastor Steven Anderson is doctrinally wrong to teach that, “The Rapture simply cannot happen at any moment.” According to Pastor Anderson THERE WILL BE SIGNS before Christ's return.
Obviously Brother Anderson and the Bible are in conflict. I believe that Dr. Curtis Hutson did an excellent job explaining the matter, and I agree with him, because he agrees with the Holy Bible. You must decide for yourself my fine non-feathered friend. You have just read the Scripture for yourself, which plainly teaches for us to LOOK FOR JESUS, not signs. Brother Anderson is telling us to look for signs, saying that Jesus' return must be preceded by signs.
Respectfully said, Pastor Steven Anderson is WRONG...

The inspired King James Bible teaches Jesus could come back TODAY!!! Jesus could return this very moment. ...

Why would the Bible tell us to LOOK FOR JESUS if the Man of Sin (Antichrist) must appear first? Pastor Anderson errantly teaches that the Rapture will happen 75 DAYS after the biblical event called the ABOMINATION OF DESOLATION in Matthew 24:15 (cf. Daniel 9:27, 11:21, 12:11), when the Antichrist shall stand in the future temple in Jerusalem and profess to be God, committing blasphemy. At this time the False Prophet will demand that the world worship the image of the Beast, or be killed (Revelation 13:15-18).
In the following chart from chapter 2 of Pastor Anderson's YouTube movie titled: 'THE BOOK OF REVELATION,' you can see in comment numbers 35 and 36 that he errantly teaches the Rapture will happen 75 DAYS after the Abomination of Desolation. Listen for yourself in Part 10 of his Revelation series, at 31:00 minutes into the video, where he states:
“When does the Rapture take place? 1,335 days into Daniel's 70th week.” —Pastor Steven Anderson, 'Revelation - Part 10' (Time: 31:00 minutes into video)
Pastor Anderson admits that many believers have accused him of setting a date, which he denies vehemently. You can hear him say this at 31:19 minutes into Part 10 of his Revelation series. Dear reader, like it or not, Pastor Anderson is DATE SETTING! He alleges that he is not setting a date since no one knows when Daniel's 70th week (aka, the Tribulation period) starts. I hope you clearly see that he is in fact, DATE SETTING! Did not Jesus teach that NO MAN, not even the angels in Heaven, know the time of His return? Yes, He did (Mark 13:32-37). At 34:06 in Part 10 of his Revelation series, Pastor Anderson says Jesus only meant that no one would know the time when He said it. Huh? Pastor Anderson says the people during the Tribulation will know the time of Jesus' return. That is blatant false teaching!!!
He teaches that the Rapture will happen on the 10th day of the 7th month of the year. This is DATE SETTING, a big no no for any preacher to do. Mark 13:32-37 plainly warns that NO MAN knows the time of Christ's return, not even the angels in Heaven. If you really want to be confused, listen to what Pastor Anderson says at 35:00 minutes into Part 10 (you need to cue these up, I couldn't link directly to the spot in the video). Pastor Anderson says he is not referring to our calendar or even the Hebrew calendar, when he says Jesus will return on the 10th day of the 7th month. Wow, this stuff is insanely confusing! But he is adamant that it will be 1,335 days into Daniel's 70th week when the Rapture happens. Pastor Anderson is making a fool of himself to say he is not setting a date, when he just plainly stated that the Rapture will happen 1,335 days into Daniel's 70th week, and 75 days after the Abomination of Desolation...
“So, I'm not setting any kind of date, I never have and I never will—until I see the Abomination of Desolation and then I'm going to start setting to set a date. And hopefully I'm still alive at that time.” —Pastor Steven Anderson, 'Revelation - Part 10' (Time: 35:25 minutes into video)
That is DATE SETTING!
Pastor Anderson errantly teaches in this chart from chapter 2 (of Pastor Anderson's YouTube movie titled: 'THE BOOK OF REVELATION') that the Rapture will happen 75 DAYS after the Abomination of Desolation (see Comments 35 and 36 at the bottom right).
If you study Pastor Anderson's chart, you will see that he believes the Tribulation only lasts for 75 DAYS, and then he says the Rapture comes. This contradicts the plain teaching of the Scripture in mark 13:32-37 that no one knows the time of Christ's return. Some Bible students will claim that the four Gospels have nothing to do with the Rapture. I humbly disagree. The Apostle Paul said that he was revealing “a mystery” in 1st Corinthians 15:51. But this doesn't mean Jesus wasn't referring to the Rapture when He said no one knows the time of His return. The Bible plainly tells us the number of days from the Abomination of Desolation until the end of the Tribulation. So, the people living in the Great Tribulation (i.e., the last 42 months, or 3 1/2 years) will know the time of Christ's return at the Second Coming. Only the time of a Pretribulation Rapture is a mystery.
The inspired King James Bible (if you rightly divide the Word of Truth) teaches a Pretribulation Rapture. That is, the timing of the event of the Rapture will happen BEFORE the 7-year Tribulation period (which is the 70th week of Daniel's prophecy). This is the only doctrinal position that maintains the secrecy of Christ's return at the Rapture. The Bible plainly teaches that Christ's return at the Rapture is a secret. This is one main reason why we know that the Rapture is not the same thing as Jesus' Second Coming.
You need to also understand that whereas most Bible preachers refer to the entire 70th week of Daniel's prophecy as “the Tribulation,” Pastor Anderson only considers the 75 DAYS after the Abomination of Desolation (when the Antichrist claims to be God the Messiah from the temple in Jerusalem), until the Rapture 75 DAYS later (he says) as “the Tribulation.” So you can get confused quickly trying to understand what Brother Anderson and I are teaching concerning prophecy. I admit that Bible prophecy is a challenging subject to grasp in the Holy Bible. For that very reason, Pastor Charles Sprugeon didn't teach about it, because he said it is too confusing to understand.
In Matthew 24-25, Mark 13 and Luke 21 (these 3 passages are commonly known as 'The Olivet Discourse'), Jesus spoke of unknown things which will happen during Daniel's 70th week in the future. So,
The Bible plainly dates the time of Christ's Second Coming at the end of the Tribulation period (which will be 1,290 days from the Abomination of Desolation according to Daniel 12:11-12). The 1,335 days in Daniel 12:12 includes The Judgment Of The Nations. This will not be a literal judgment of Chine, Russia, India, et cetera; but rather, the world will be judged, separating the tares (unsaved) from the wheat (saved).
