The Southern Baptist Convention (SBC), alternatively the Great Commission Baptists (GCB), is a Christian denomination based in the United States. It is the world's largest Baptist denomination, and the largest Protestant and second-largest Christian denomination in the United States. Organized in 1845 through separation from the Triennial Convention, the denomination advocated slavery in the United States. During the 19th and most of the 20th century, it played a central role in Southern racial attitudes, supporting racial segregation and the Lost Cause of the Confederacy while opposing interracial marriage. In 1995, the organization apologized for its history. Since the 1940s, it has spread across the U.S. states, having member churches across the country and 41 affiliated state conventions.

For decades the SBC had used the Devil's corrupt New International Version (NIV) of the Bible. In 2004, the SBC decided to publish their own corrupt Bible, which they entitled the: “Holman Christian Standard Bible” (HCSB). At the time the SBC said they refused to join the gender-neutral movement to corrupt the Bible. But it didn't even take 15 years for the SBC to sell out further! In 2018 the SBC published their new Christian Standard Bible (CSB), and this time it is gender-neutral.

The Southern Baptist Convention (SBC) vote this week (9,437 votes for; 1,212 against) to uphold the decision to disfellowship Saddleback Church in California, for allowing women pastors, should be recognized and applauded by independent Baptists. Roughly 90% (if you also consider the other appeals) of the SBC delegates sided with the Holy Bible. When Pastor Rick Warren tried his 99.9999999% trope, he heard a thunderous “No” in response. As messed up as the SBC is, they still have some goodness left. The Bible forbids women from pastoring churches.
Yet, the SBC is a far cry from being spiritually healthy. I would like to point out that it was Pastor Rick Warren who initially supported Proposition 8 (a law which would ban same-sex marriage in California), but when his Luciferian handlers heard about it they yanked his chain, and Warren apologized profusely to the LGBTQ community. Warren is a puppet on a string, an imposter in the pulpit who masquerades as a man of God. In reality, Rick Warren is one of Satan's ministers of unrighteousness (2nd Corinthians 11:13-15).
In case you didn't know, Rick Warren is also a member of The Council On Foreign Relations (CFR, which is the unofficial headquarters of the New World Order). You cannot trust anyone who is a member of the CFR! Rick Warren also preaches another Gospel, which Michael P. Bowen exposes in his helpful book entitled: "I NEVER KNEW YOU," in chapter 5, page 53.
You'll stop being a judgmental pharisaical dispenser of the law, and you'll suddenly become a Gospel witness. And your life will no longer be characterized by judgmentalism and fundamentalism and it'll be characterized by compassion. You'll start loving your neighbor like somebody made in the image of God and feeling compassion for them in their weakness. you will begin to treat them first and foremost like people who deserve compassion, not scorn or judgment or a political voting block that we need to marginalize.
When you understand that, then what that means is that, you become a person who will, for example: Stand up and be among the fiercest advocates for the preservation of the dignity and the rights of LGBT people, because we recognize that gay and lesbian people are essentially just like us—people made in the image of God like us, and deserving of all the dignity and respect that we desire for us, or our children. There is no them!

Also, the SBC teaches wrong repentance. On their website, in their Statement of Faith, the SBC teaches that to be saved you must turn away from your sinful ways. Many SBC member churches preach hardcore Lordship Salvation. So you need to be very careful when you visit an SBC church, to inquire about their plan of salvation. I wouldn't attend any church that is wrong in a free grace Gospel. Lordship Salvation is a perversion of God's grace! Wrong repentance is not the Gospel, it is a works-based plan of damnation. Nowhere in the inspired King James Bible are we taught to forsake our sinning to be saved. Nowhere does the Bible teach to turn away from ones sinful ways to be saved. We are simply told to repent (change our mind) and believe the Gospel. That is, the GOOD NEWS of Christ crucified, buried and risen the third day. Men complicate things! God's plan of salvation has always been very simple. Men are sinners; Jesus is the Savior!
