You Can KNOW That You Are Eternally Saved Securely

Luke 10:20, “Notwithstanding in this rejoice not, that the spirits are subject unto you; but rather rejoice, because your names are written in heaven.”

We are living in perilous times of woeful false teaching and deceit everywhere. Consider this damnable heresy preached by Dr. Steve Pettit at Bob Jones University:

“You can't just speak about getting saved, and you accepted Christ, and then that's it! There is a justification; There is a sanctification; There's ultimately a glorification, and though there are three parts, they are all part of the whole, and you cannot separate them. In order for you to qualify for the award, you have to get into the race, you have to stay in the race, and you have to finish the race. If you want to win, you have to run to the end; and winning in the Christian life is everything, because if you lose—if you don't finish—you lose everything—you lose your SOUL. And so, the Christian race is the life of faith that begins, is run, and is finished when we cross over into Heaven!” —Dr. Steve Pettit (“What Does It Mean To Run 'The Race'?” - 11:34)

Dear reader, this is why so many multitudes of churchgoers are utterly confused about salvation nowadays. False teachers like Steve Pettit are incompetent theologians, wrestling the Scriptures to their own destruction. 2nd Peter 3:16-17,  “As also in all his epistles, speaking in them of these things; in which are some things hard to be understood, which they that are unlearned and unstable wrest, as they do also the other scriptures, unto their own destruction. Ye therefore, beloved, seeing ye know these things before, beware lest ye also, being led away with the error of the wicked, fall from your own stedfastness.” Steve Pettit is unlearned and unstable, preaching another perverse gospel of the Devil. Marty Herron, Church Phelps, Sam Horn, Gary Walton and John MacArthur are all sinister ministers, preaching a counterfeit gospel of partial faith in Christ plus works!!!

According to the preceding damnable quote from Steve Pettit, you cannot merely profess faith in Jesus Christ to be saved. Dr. Pettit insists that you must persevere to live the Christian life or else you do not get to go to Heaven. This is not the free grace Gospel.

Jesus plainly teaches us as born-again believers in Luke 10:20b, “rejoice, because your names are written in heaven.” Dear friend, my name is written in Heaven in the Lamb's Book of Life, and yours is to if you are a redeemed child of God. If you have never come to a place in your life where you realized that you are a guilty sinner in God's sight (Romans 3:19-20), and placed your childlike faith in the GOOD NEWS of Jesus Christ crucified on the cross, buried and bodily resurrected the third day (1st Corinthians 15:1-4), then you are NOT a child of God yet. John 3:3b, “Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.” Have you been born-again dear friend? I have, when I was 13 years old.

The fact that Jesus tells us as believers to REJOICE THAT OUR NAMES ARE WRITTEN IN HEAVEN, evidences that a believer CAN in fact KNOW 100% beyond any shadow of a doubt that we are saved. How else could we rejoice that our name is recorded in the Lamb's Book of Life, unless we can assuredly KNOW that we are presently and forever saved?

Dr. Steve Pettit falsely teaches that: “You can't just speak about getting saved, and you accepted Christ, and then that's it!”

But what does the Bible say? Acts 16:30b-31, “Sirs, what must I do to be saved? And they said, Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved, and thy house.” So according to the inspired Holy Bible Steve Pettit is a dirty liar!!!

In fact you CAN JUST SPEAK ABOUT GETTING SAVED, AND YOU ACCEPTED CHRIST, AND THAT'S IT!!!!!!!

On the blessed Day of Pentecost in Acts chapter two, there were 3,000 souls saved in just one day. They simply BELIEVED the Gospel and were saved (Acts 2:41).

In Acts chapter ten we read about Cornelius and a group of people who were led by God's Spirit to go hear the Apostle Peter. As Peter preached the Gospel (the GOOD NEWS of Jesus Christ crucified, buried and risen the third day), Cornelius and the people with him who heard the Gospel BELIEVED and were saved in an instant (Acts 10:43-44).

Nowhere in the inspired King James Bible do we ever read about someone who was saved over time, as a progressive process. No, people were always saved in an instant, by faith alone in Jesus Christ.

The thief on the cross who repented was saved that very day, to whom Jesus said they would both be in Paradise by day's end.

Jesus led the Samaritan woman at Jacob's Well to salvation in an instant. She simply received the water of life which Jesus gave her by faith in Him. What a wonderful Savior!!!

Dear reader, the Bible says that YOU CAN KNOW 100% that you are saved, that your name is written in Heaven. No such rejoicing would be possible unless salvation happened in an instant by faith alone!!! Please beware of anyone who falsely teaches that you cannot be saved immediately. 

Here is another damnable quote from Evangelist Paul Washer:

“We talk about the Germans of the 20th centuries that brought on their higher criticism. It is not near as dangerous as conservative Baptists with their gospel reductionism. How dare we, all these stupid evangelists walking around telling men after they've made some little prayer that they need to write their name in the back of their Bible, and put the date and if the Devil ever comes to them, they need to show him that. That is Roman superstition, it is not the gospel of Jesus Christ. You see we've turned the gospel into a flu-shot.” —

Paul Washer - LISTEN TO THIS!!!!

That is some perverse dangerous talk by Pastor Washer. If you understand that Paul Washer is a staunch Calvinist, then you understand that he believes perseverance is necessary to get to Heaven. Like the demonic Bob Jones University camp today, Paul Washer believes that you cannot merely get saved by accepting Christ and that's it. These devil-preachers all embellish the Gospel, adding works to faith, corrupting the truth of God's Word.

Friend, you certainly CAN write down your name, date and place that you were born-again. The very moment that you place your childlike trust in the blessed Savior, God works the supernatural miracle of salvation. John 1:12-13, “But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name: Which were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God.” Beware of any false prophet who errantly tells you that you must prove the reality of the genuineness of your faith by your works. Works have no place in the Gospel (Romans 3:20). 

Jesus said that we CAN KNOW that our name is written in Heaven. Only instant, immediate and eternal confirmation of our eternal security in Jesus Christ could allow such bold confidence. The Lord made it very clear that we ought to REJOICE THAT OUR NAMES ARE WRITTEN IN HEAVEN in the Lamb's Book of Life. This could not be possible unless salvation were instant. That means Steve Pettit and Paul Washer are theological LIARS!!! You must decide dear reader whom to believe. Either Jesus is telling THE TRUTH. Or else Steve Pettit and Paul Washer are telling THE TRUTH. But it cannot be both! I'll believe Jesus.
