Seven Bible Promises That Always Brighten My Day

2nd Peter 1:1-4, “Simon Peter, a servant and an apostle of Jesus Christ, to them that have obtained like precious faith with us through the righteousness of God and our Saviour Jesus Christ: Grace and peace be multiplied unto you through the knowledge of God, and of Jesus our Lord, According as his divine power hath given unto us all things that pertain unto life and godliness, through the knowledge of him that hath called us to glory and virtue: Whereby are given unto us exceeding great and precious promises: that by these ye might be partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust.”

Here are seven wonderful PROMISES from God that always rejoice my soul as a redeemed child of God:

1. MY NAME IS WRITTEN IN HEAVEN - Luke 10:20: “Notwithstanding in this rejoice not, that the spirits are subject unto you; but rather rejoice, because your names are written in heaven.)”
2. AT THE RAPTURE, I WILL RECEIVE AN IMMORTAL BODY FASHIONED LIKE UNTO THE LORD'S RESURRECTED BODY - Philippians 3:21, “Who shall change our vile body, that it may be fashioned like unto his glorious body, according to the working whereby he is able even to subdue all things unto himself.” 1st Corinthians 15:51-53, “In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed. For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal must put on immortality. Behold, I shew you a mystery; We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed,”
   
3. THE LORD IS PREPARING A HOME FOR ME IN HEAVEN - John 14:1-3, “Let not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God, believe also in me. In my Father's house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also.”
   
4. WHEN JESUS COMES, NO MAN WILL EVER TAKE MY JOY AWAY AGAIN - John 16:22, “And ye now therefore have sorrow: but I will see you again, and your heart shall rejoice, and your joy no man taketh from you.”
   
5. IN THE FUTURE, GOD WILL MAKE EVERYTHING RIGHT - Revelation 21:4, “And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away.”
   
6. JESUS WILL NEVER LEAVE NOR FORSAKE ME - Hebrews 13:5, “Let your conversation be without covetousness; and be content with such things as ye have: for he hath said, I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee.” John 14:16, “And I will pray the Father, and he shall give you another Comforter, that he may abide with you for ever;”
   
7. GOD WILL REWARD ME FOR ALL MY LABORS FOR JESUS CHRIST - 1st Corinthians 3:8, “Now he that planteth and he that watereth are one: and every man shall receive his own reward according to his own labour.” Hebrews 6:10, “For God is not unrighteous to forget your work and labour of love, which ye have shewed toward his name, in that ye have ministered to the saints, and do minister.” Mark 9:41, “For whosoever shall give you a cup of water to drink in my name, because ye belong to Christ, verily I say unto you, he shall not lose his reward.”

I am so thankful for the eternal and incorruptible Word of God. I am so thankful for the inspired and infallible King James Bible!!! The Bible is full of promises from God to man. I encourage you friend to search for them, claim them as your own, and let them be your joy.
