Homeless People Are Not Lazy

Ecclesiastes 9:16, “Then said I, Wisdom is better than strength: nevertheless the poor man's wisdom is despised, and his words are not heard.”

I like listening to Mark Horvath from InvisiblePeople.tv, who says that homeless people are not lazy. A common allegation against homeless people is that they are lazy and don't want to work. In fact, homeless people don't get days off. They don't get sick leave. They don't get any holiday pay. You cannot stop and take a break from being homeless! You don't get much sleep. You're up early in the morning. You have to fight for survival. The idea that homeless people are lazy is bullcrap! Homeless people have to work every every single day just to find water, find a bathroom, find food, make ends meet ,just to survive.

In the state of New York, it costs about $168,000 a year to house someone in prison. You could build somebody a small home and provide for them for a fraction of that cost! State governments could easily build thousands of small 160 sq. foot homes, with fold out beds, tables, chairs and basic necessities, for a few thousand dollars each! 20 foot shipping containers make perfect homes!!! That's better than leaving them homeless! We've got millions of empty acres of land across America. The problem is that people in power who could make a difference don't care!

The poor are often stereotyped as being lazy, mentally-ill, drug-addicts and losers! Mark Horvath shows on his website that 84% of homeless people don't have serious mental issues. Many homeless people are drug-addicts, but they are not homeless because they became drug-addicts, they became drug-addicts because they are hurting people. They became homeless because of a crooked banking system that creates counterfeit wealth by printing money from nothing!

The truth is that thousands of homeless people DO HAVE JOBS! They survive out of their cars, tent cities, neighborhood streets, or under a bridge. The problem is a woeful lack of affordable housing and livable wages. Central banking fraud, illegal immigration and de-industrialization (outsourcing American jobs to foreign countries) are all root causes of homelessness in the United States! Illegal immigrants hold millions of American jobs! The popular excuse is that illegal immigrants are willing to work undesirable jobs that Americans don't want. That is a lie of the demonic central banks! The truth is that instead of outsourcing all American jobs to foreign countries, U.S. corporations in thousands of cases are hiring illegal foreign immigrants in America to work for peanuts. This displaces even more U.S. citizens from finding a job. No wonder homelessness is becoming epidemic!

You can be assured that the homelessness problem is just getting started! Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, tens of millions of Americans are losing their homes, jobs, livelihoods and cannot even pay for food. Many homeless people are good people at a bad time in their life. They just need an olive branch (a helping hand) to rescue them. When I lived in Chicago (1967-2004), I saw people lying on the streets all the time. My father worked as a Skid Rod minister, who took these photos for the Mission bulletin...

Homeless People In Chicago - Early 1980's

It is very convenient to blame the poor and homeless for their own suffering. What you should be saying is: “But for the grace of God there go I.” The Bible says in James 1:27, “Pure religion and undefiled before God and the Father is this, To visit the fatherless and widows in their affliction, and to keep himself unspotted from the world.” I agree with Mark Horvath that the only genuine way to worship God is by helping the poor in their afflictions. That is exactly what the Holy Bible teaches!

Our churches and Bible colleges are all about making money these days. What a bunch of religious phonies! They enjoy their entertainment on Sundays at church. What do big Bible colleges like Bob Jones University, Liberty University, Pensacola Christian College, Moody Bible Institute and Faith Baptist Bible College And Theological Seminary do to help the poor and homeless? NOTHING!!! The purest form of serving God is reaching out to the poor and needy, and helping the homeless! Look at all the HUNDREDS OF BILLIONS OF DOLLARS made each year in America by all the churches, Bible colleges and religious schools across America! The consider all the poor and homeless.

I get sick thinking that phonies like Dr. John MacArthur, Dr. Sam Horn, Pastor Marty Herron and Evangelist Steve Pettit get paid far over $100,000 a year “serving God.” Mr. MacArthur alone gets over $250,000 a year from Grace To You! These ungodly men have their reward, and their damnation slumbered not (2nd Peter 2:1-3). What saith the Scripture? Romans 16:17-18, “Now I beseech you, brethren, mark them which cause divisions and offences contrary to the doctrine which ye have learned; and avoid them. For they that are such serve not our Lord Jesus Christ, but their own belly; and by good words and fair speeches deceive the hearts of the simple. These ungodly men serve their own belly, not the Lord Jesus Christ!

Homeless people are not lazy. They haven't been fortunate enough to have the opportunities handed to them, that people like Marty Herron and Steve Pettit have. Proverbs 19:1: “Better is the poor that walketh in his integrity, than he that is perverse in his lips, and is a fool.” Proverbs 28:6, “Better is the poor that walketh in his uprightness, than he that is perverse in his ways, though he be rich. The ungodly men I just mentioned are all corrupt Calvinists, perverting the grace of God. They preach another gospel of accursed Lordship Salvation (Galatians 1:6-9).

I am utterly disgusted with the richy rich club of religious Neo-evangelicals, who live lavish lifestyles by parasiting off of Christianity and the churches. I have infinitely more respect for struggling homeless people who are REAL, than I do for the FAKE apostate church-milking Bob Jones University crowd. I have heard churches like Harvest Baptist Church on Guam beg for donations all my life, but who cares about the poor and homeless? Who cares about a hurting dog like me? A hurting dog barks. I care, and so does God.
