Always Be Abundantly Thankful To God

Colossians 1:12-14, “Giving thanks unto the Father, which hath made us meet to be partakers of the inheritance of the saints in light: Who hath delivered us from the power of darkness, and hath translated us into the kingdom of his dear Son: In whom we have redemption through his blood, even the forgiveness of sins:

The greatest truth I could teach you dear reader, next to salvation itself, is to WALK WITH GOD. And the most important truth I could teach you about walking with God, is to ALWAYS BE THANKFUL TO GOD!!! Gratitude is the key to happiness in life. It is only when our heart becomes ungrateful, that we begin to backslide. A thankful Christian is a humble person, lowly, meek, loving, caring, and obedient to the Lord. When we appreciate all that God has done for us, it reflects in our attitude...
Colossians 2:7-10, “Rooted and built up in him, and stablished in the faith, as ye have been taught, abounding therein with thanksgiving. Beware lest any man spoil you through philosophy and vain deceit, after the tradition of men, after the rudiments of the world, and not after Christ. For in him dwelleth all the fulness of the Godhead bodily. And ye are complete in him, which is the head of all principality and power:
The word abounding in Colossians 2:7 is the Greek word perisseuoo, which means in excess.” We ought to be more than thankful toward God, we should be superabundant in our gratitude. Think about what God has done for you dear friend! You and I were on our way to burn in Hell forever without hope, a literal place where there is no rest day nor night (Revelation 14:11), a place of torment and suffering (Luke 16:19-31), a place where there is no escape. Matthew 23:33, “Ye serpents, ye generation of vipers, how can ye escape the damnation of hell?Oh how I love Jesus, and am exceedingly thankful for all that He has done for me!!! I hope you are thankful too. There are 86,400 seconds in each day, have we thanked God with just one of them?
“When gratitude dies on the altar of a man's heart, that man is well-nigh hopeless.” —Dr. Bob Jones Sr., “Things I Have Learned: Chapel Talks,” page 26; Bob Jones University Press, ©1945
Here are some precious Scriptures from the Epistle of Colossians, which I am listening to today, about being thankful to God:
Colossians 1:3, “We give thanks to God and the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, praying always for you,
Colossians 3:15, “And let the peace of God rule in your hearts, to the which also ye are called in one body; and be ye thankful.
Colossians 3:17, “And whatsoever ye do in word or deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God and the Father by him.
Colossians 4:2, “Continue in prayer, and watch in the same with thanksgiving;”
Our great God deserves our constant gratitude and praise. PRAISE YE THE LORD!!! THANK GOD FOR ALL HIS BLESSINGS!!! Psalms 147:7, “Sing unto the LORD with thanksgiving; sing praise upon the harp unto our God:” David used his musical instrument to praise God. I think that is wonderful. I have been playing the pedal steel guitar since 1992, which I love to play. It has been a great joy, for which I am so thankful to my God and Savior. Here are my recent steel guitar recordings from 2020. Praise the Lord all ye saints!!! Psalms 150:6, “Let every thing that hath breath praise the LORD.  Praise ye the LORD.”
