The King James Bible Is Inspired By God

2nd Timothy 3:16-17, “All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: That the man of God may be perfect, throughly furnished unto all good works.”

One of the saddest things I have seen in my life was in 2008, when the First Baptist Church of Hammond and by extension Hyles-Anderson College (HAC) changed their position on the Holy Bible. Since 2008 FBCH and HAC have DENIED the inspiration of the King James Bible. Pastor Jack Hyles is heart-broken up in Heaven. Here is HAC's 2023 Statement of Beliefs...
"We believe the Word of God as found in the sixty-six (66) books from Genesis to Revelation is infallible and inerrant and perfect;1 it is the plenary and verbally inspired2 words of God to men.3 We believe God has also preserved every single word4 through the ages.

1 Psalm 12:6; Proverbs 30:5; 2 II Timothy 3:16; II Peter 1:21; 3 Deuteronomy 8:3; Matthew 4:4; 4 Isaiah 40:8; Matthew 5:18; Matthew 24:35; I Peter 1:25.

God has divinely preserved His words for English-speaking people in the King James Version. The King James Version is the translation used in any and all ministries of First Baptist Church for English-speaking people."
What you just read is a cleverly worded Statement of Belief that refuses to state that we have an inspired Holy Bible today. HAC won't say that the King James Bible is inspired. THEY JUST WON'T SAY IT!!!

Sadly, FBCH and HAC believe and teach that God has "preserved" His very pure words, but that those words are not longer inspired. They errantly believe that inspiration merely refers to God's breathing out His Words to holy men of old, and that's it. I strongly disagree, and so did Dr. Jack Hyles.

Brother Hyles asked this $64,000 question: "What good is inspiration without preservation?" That is a great question! What would have been the significance of God inspiring His Words, if those words lost their inspiration? By "inspiration" I mean that they are God's Words!!! Psalms 119:139-140, "My zeal hath consumed me, because mine enemies have forgotten thy words. Thy word is very pure: therefore thy servant loveth it."

The Psalmist, David, said that he loved God's Words because they are "very pure." What do you think David would think of having HUNDREDS of different conflicting English Bible revisions today? David would loath them, as I do!!!

I'd like to reverse Dr. Hyles' question: "What good is preservation without inspiration?" It doesn't matter how you ask the question, because the answer is the same—what good would God preserving His very pure Words be, if they were no longer inspired; and what good would it have been for God to inspire His very pure Words, if He didn't preserve those Words?

In other words, for God not to be a dirty liar, we must have both preserved inspiration and inspired preservation. Psalms 12:6-7, "The words of the LORD are pure words: as silver tried in a furnace of earth, purified seven times. Thou shalt keep them, O LORD, thou shalt preserve them from this generation for ever."

In a Bible study decades ago, Dr. Hyles taught about preservation, but he didn't mention inspiration. So after Dr. Hyles went to Heaven in 2001, in 2008 some knuckleheads at FBCH decided that the King James Bible is only preserved, but not inspired. Listen to what Pastor Hyles had to say about that while he was still alive.

Lest any liar say otherwise about my friend and mentor, Pastor Jack Hyles, read for your self what Dr. Hyles believed and preached about Bible inspiration (these quotes are priceless)...
“The only inspired Words of God are in the King James Bible!” —Dr. Jack Hyles (an awesome quote —Dr. Jack Hyles ('THE REAL BATTLE!')

What's that you say? You'd like another quote? Okay, here it is my friend...
“Every word in this Bible is inspired by God almighty!” —Dr. Jack Hyles (a great quote from the classic sermon, “A Friend At Midnight”)

“Students of Hyles-Anderson College, do not give your loyalty to Hyles-Anderson College. You give your loyalty to what we stand for today, and if tomorrow we don't stand for it, you withdraw your loyalty—loyalty to principle, loyalty to right, loyalty to character, loyalty to integrity, loyalty to conviction, loyalty to truth; not loyalty to institutions.” —Dr. Jack Hyles, from the sermon titled, “Filled With All The Fulness Of God

“Everything born is born dying... Death is inevitable... The length of your life depends on how much you fight the inevitable death... The day will come when the Hyles-Anderson College will be liberal. The day will come when this Bible is not believed in Hyles-Anderson College, if the Lord tarries... The day will come when this church will turn.” —Pastor Jack Hyles, from the timeless sermon, “The Church First

“Don't come to me with your stinkin' 'only the original is inspired'! You're not intellectual... you're retarded!” —Dr. Jack Hyles, 'Keep your Stinkin' Feet Out of My Drinking Water' (1998 Wednesday night Bible study, MP3)
“And brother, any time anybody ever casts any reflection upon the accuracy and the inspiration—verbal inspiration—of this Bible, I'll guarantee you he was inspired by the demons. I'll guarantee you! I don't care if he's got a 'reverend' in front of his name. I don't care if he has a clerical collar on. I don't care what school he's been to. He's of the Devil if he says that the Bible is not verbally inspired by God!” —Dr. Jack Hyles, a great quote from the awesome MP3 sermon titled, “Satan's masterpiece
And this next quote from Pastor Hyles ought to cause FBCH and HAC to fall on their knees in repentance and weep, because this is exactly what they are doing, deceiving people!!! FBCH and HAC DON'T believe that the King James Bible is inspired word for word, they only think that the original autographs were inspired; but the shady way that they word their Statement of Beliefs, it misleads and deceives people regarding what they really believe. ...
“I'm tired of colleges and universities advertising that they use the King James Bible. Tell the whole story! Tell everyone that you do not believe that it is inspired word for word.” —Dr. Jack Hyles, “The Need For An Every Word Bible,” page 54
“I would not give, knowingly, one thin dime to a college that does not believe in the verbal inspiration of this Book I hold tonight.” —Pastor Jack Hyles, from the timeless sermon, “YOU MUST GO THROUGH ARABIA”; preached October 11, 1981
FBCH and HAC are dirty deceivers!!! I hate exposing my own home college, where I attended for 8 years (1985-1993), but my loyalty is to God and truth, and not Dr. Hyles, FBCH or HAC. Brother Hyles was so right, why doesn't FBCH and HAC simply be honest and tell everyone that they DON'T think we have an inspired King James Bible today. Why all the lies and deception? It is because they know if they deny the inspiration of the King James Bible, they WILL lose church support and their students, and thus, lots of money.

Sadly, since their former incompetent pastor, Dr. Jack Schaap (whom I still love and appreciate having as my Bible teacher at HAC for 8 years), foolishly changed the church's position on the Bible in 2008. Dr. Schaap didn't teach that garbage when I knew him in college, because Dr. Hyles would have had his bags packed and fired him. I am the biggest sinner I know, so I am not condemning anybody. However, as a Bible preacher I am compelled to expose error wherever I find it. I have had preachers preach against me. If I deserve it, then so be it. If they are lying (and most are), then God will be their only judge (James 4:12; 5:9; Matthew 12:36). God is no respecter of persons, and neither am I. If the shoe fits, wear it friend!

Here you can read Dr. Russell Anderson's protest letter to Pastor Jack Schaap in 2009, hurt and upset that HAC changed their position on the Bible.

And here is Dr. Russell Anderson's protest letter to Pastor John Wilkerson in 2015, requesting that they remove Dr. Anderson's name from Hyles-Anderson College! Dr. Hyles often called Dr. Anderson: "The brother I never had." I know with certainty that if Dr. Hyles could come down from Heaven, he would fire everybody in leadership at FBCH and HAC and clean house.

FBCH cannot substitute for trashing out Bible inspiration with aggressive soulwinning. Denying Bible inspiration is always the Devil's foot in the door. Mark my words, in a couple generations (if the Lord tarries His return), HAC will start using the Devil's bibles, and then they'll start preaching the Devil's lies of Misunderstood Repentance and Lordship Salvation (which deadly heresies the Devil's Bible revisions promote). They are already changing for the worse. Albeit, I still love the people who invested their lives into mine at FBCH and HAC. To God be the glory, great things He hath done (and is still doing and will continue to do, by His grace through faith). Thank you for reading my blogs.
Jesus is precious!!!

Baptist Pastors Teach Same Roman Catholic Heresy On Repentance

Mark 1:15, “And saying, The time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God is at hand: repent ye, and believe the gospel.”

The Roman Catholic understanding of repentance is unbiblical. Roman Catholics corrupt the meaning of repent to mean a change of lifestyle. As do all false prophets, the following description of repentance starts off with the correct meaning of “a change of mind,” and then subtly perverts the meaning by the end of the paragraph to mean “a change of lifestyle”...
But what does it mean to truly repent? The Greek word for repentance that is used in the Gospel is metanoia, which literally means "to change one's mind." This "change" of "mind" necessarily entails a profound interior conversion in which we firmly turn from worldly darkness, and embrace a new way of life as Christ's disciples. Thus repentance is not merely to know of Christ, nor is it a matter of picking and choosing—with an intellectual arrogance—some aspects of our Lord's teaching while coldly rejecting others; rather, it is a union of mind, heart and soul to the Person of Christ. To repent is to die to Christ, discarding our former way of life in favor of the Way, Truth, and Life that is Christ himself.

Where in the Bible are we taught that repentance means to “DIE TO CHRIST?” We are saved by trusting Jesus. nothing else. Then as a Christian, God wants us to be crucified with Christ and die to the lusts and desires of the flesh. Please understand that the saved life and the crucified life are separate. If you combine the two, you have a corrupted Gospel, a false plan of salvation. Dr. Jack Hyles does a wonderful job explaining this truth in his awesome MP3 sermon titled, “STEPS TO SANCTIFICATION (OR THE ROOT OF ALL HERESY).” We are saved by trusting Jesus, period. Whether or not you turn away from the old lifestyle of sin DOESN'T keep you from being saved. Eternal life is a free gift (Romans 5:15; Ephesians 2:8-9). You can be saved by simply believing on Jesus Christ, that He died for your sins on the cross, was buried and raised-up from the dead three days later (1st Corinthians 15:1-4).

What Is Genuine Biblical Repentance?

Most churches today have adopted a Roman Catholic interpretation of repentance, which includes penance, forsaking sinful living and changing one's ways to be saved. The Bible teaches something VERY different. Biblical repentance unto life simply means “a change of mind,” that is, a change of mind about whatever was hindering you from coming to the Lord to be saved. John 3:20 says that sin hinders people from coming to the light (Jesus, John 8:12) to be saved, because people living in sin don't want to be reproved and told they are wrong. When a man repents, he acknowledges that he is a guilty sinner in the eyes of a holy God, and so now he comes to Christ by faith to be saved.

Repentance simply means that you acknowledge your sinnership and thus need for Christ to save you. Romans 3:19, “Now we know that what things soever the law saith, it saith to them who are under the law: that every mouth may be stopped, and all the world may become guilty before God.” We are saved by believing, not by repenting, but we wouldn't believe if we didn't repent. This is why the words “believe” and “believed” appear 85 times in the Gospel of John, but the word “repent” is never mentioned even once. A person MUST repent to be saved, but repentance does NOT mean changing your sinful ways and turning over a new leaf for God. I am worried about the salvation of umpteen Independent Baptists in our churches today, who have told me that they don't think believing the Gospel is enough to be saved. They have been caught-up into the heresy of Roman Catholicism.

One Baptist man who teaches in a local Bible college said to me a few months ago, “I think there needs to be a little bit more.” That is, he believes it is NOT enough to trust upon Christ's death on the cross for our sins, His burial, and His resurrection three days later to save us. This is the Gospel (good news) according to 1st Corinthians 15:1-4. The foolish guy also believes that you must purpose in your heart to stop living in a lifestyle of sin. The guy needs to get saved. My friend, there is a fine line between Christianity and the religion of the cults. Grace is not earned, it is offered!

Pastor Harry A. Ironside (1876-1951) correctly understood repentance . . .
“Repentance is the very opposite of meritorious experience. It is the confession that one is utterly without merit, and if he is ever saved at all it can only be through the merits of our Lord Jesus Christ, 'who gave himself a ransom for all.' Here is firm footing for the soul who realizes that all self-effort is but sinking sand. Christ alone is the Rock of our salvation.”

SOURCE: Harry A. Ironside; Except Ye Repent, p. 36)
Clearly, Ironside taught a Free Grace view of the Gospel. Harry A. Ironside correctly recognized repentance as the confession that “one is utterly without merit” and that if one is “ever saved at all it can only be through the merits of our Lord Jesus Christ.” Salvation is without works of self-righteousness. Romans 4:5 plainly teaches that a man's faith is COUNTED for righteousness, i.e., the righteousness of Jesus Christ is imputed to one's heavenly record by faith.
“Repentance is the recognition of my sinnership — the owning before God that I am as vile as He has declared me to be in His holy Word.”

SOURCE: Except Ye Repent, by Dr. Harry Ironside, chapter 3
All that God requires for salvation is that we receive Christ's death, burial and resurrection from the dead three days later as full-payment for our sins. Concerning salvation, “repentance” does NOT mean to cease from sinful bad habits, nor turn over a new leaf, nor make a full surrender to Christ, nor to forsake the world. A person may do all of these things and yet never have believe the Gospel at all. The Gospel is Good News to simply be believed, and not conditions to be achieved.

Gospel + Faith = Salvation (Hebrews 4:2)

“No Christian will ever have his name blotted out of the Lamb’s book of life, for all such have eternal life—which is unforfeitable and everlasting.” — Pastor Harry A. Ironside

Does Matthew 25:24-30 Apply To The Saved Or Unsaved?

Matthew 25:24-30, “Then he which had received the one talent came and said, Lord, I knew thee that thou art an hard man, reaping where thou hast not sown, and gathering where thou hast not strawed: And I was afraid, and went and hid thy talent in the earth: lo, there thou hast that is thine. His lord answered and said unto him, Thou wicked and slothful servant, thou knewest that I reap where I sowed not, and gather where I have not strawed: Thou oughtest therefore to have put my money to the exchangers, and then at my coming I should have received mine own with usury. Take therefore the talent from him, and give it unto him which hath ten talents. For unto every one that hath shall be given, and he shall have abundance: but from him that hath not shall be taken away even that which he hath. And cast ye the unprofitable servant into outer darkness: there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth.”

I admit that this is an obscure passage of Scripture to interpret. From one perspective it seems to apply to the unsaved, since the unfaithful servant in Verse 30 is cast into outer darkness, where there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth. Yet, other servants in previous verses are rewarded, which can only apply to Christian saints. Confused? So are many Bible students.

I have a classic Verse-By-Verse Commentary by Evangelist John R. Rice (1895-1980) of the book of Matthew, which offers these helpful words:
The Parable Of The Talents
This passage should properly be considered along with Luke 19:11-27, where Jesus gives a similar parable. That parable was spoken first on the road approaching Jerusalem (Luke 19:28), a few days before. This parable of the talents is spoken later in Jerusalem. In the Luke parable, we find pounds mentioned instead of talents. Ten pounds were given to ten servants, one each. There, however, only three are mentioned in particular: two are promised a good reward, with commendation, as here, and one unfaithful servant is condemned.

SOURCE: “Matthew: The King Of The Jews” (Verse-By-Verse Commentary), by Evangelist John R. Rice, p. 409; Sword Of The Lord, copyright 1955
And then Dr. Rice says this on page 413:
Both Saved And Lost Warned About Accountability To God
It is noticeable here in this particular case Jesus does not make a distinction between salvation and rewards. We know that salvation is wholly of grace, “Not of works, lest any man should boast” (Eph. 2:9), and “that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life” (John 3:16). But that is not the special truth that Jesus is teaching here. He is teaching accountability to God. However, it is obvious that the men who received the five talents and the two talents, and by loving industry doubled them, represent saved men who work for Christ. The fact that they appropriated the gifts of God, claimed Him as Lord willingly, tried to do His will, brought their fruits back to Him with rejoicing, indicates that they represent saved people. On the other hand, the man who had one talent “went and digged in the earth, and hid his Lord's money” (vs. 18). Verse 24 shows that the one-talent man in this case had no love for his master, no confidence in him, no surrender to his will. This is not a picture of a saved man.
SOURCE: “Matthew: The King Of The Jews” (Verse-By-Verse Commentary), by Evangelist John R. Rice, p. 413; Sword Of The Lord, copyright 1955
I fully agree with Dr. Rice that Jesus is not speaking about salvation in this passage, He is speaking about accountability for the saved and the lost.
The Wicked And Slothful Servant
Consider the judgment of the unfaithful servant. His charges against the master in verses 24 and 25 show his wicked heart. This represents the attitude of unsaved people toward Christ. Hating Him, they accuse Him. Satan always teaches man that God is unjust, that God requires more than is right, that it does not pay to serve the Lord.
SOURCE: “Matthew: The King Of The Jews” (Verse-By-Verse Commentary), by Evangelist John R. Rice, p. 415; Sword Of The Lord, copyright 1955
So we see that this passage from Matthew 25:24-30 applies to both the lost and the saved, depending on whom the shoe fits. The purpose of this parable is accountability. Even the unsaved person has been entrusted with the gift of life. God gives every man a measure of faith (Romans 12:3). You can put that faith in Jesus Christ as your personal Savior, or you can put that faith in man's religion or yourself. Even the unsaved person will be held accountable by God, their Creator, for all that has been entrusted to them. This is what Jesus is teaching in Matthew 25:24-30. All humanity will be held accountable to God.

Every unsaved person must give account to God in eternity (Revelation 20:11-15), just as the saved do (2nd Corinthians 5:9-11). We are all a part of God's creation and we are His creatures. Ecclesiastes 12:13-14, “Let us hear the conclusion of the whole matter: Fear God, and keep his commandments: for this is the whole duty of man. For God shall bring every work into judgment, with every secret thing, whether it be good, or whether it be evil.

What The United States Was Like In 1900

Daniel 12:4, “But thou, O Daniel, shut up the words, and seal the book, even to the time of the end: many shall run to and fro, and knowledge shall be increased.”

In the year 1900...
  • The average life expectancy in America was 47.3 for women, 46.3 for men, and 33 for blacks.
  • Only 14% of the homes in the U.S. had a bathtub.
  • 18% of American households had at least one full-time servant or domestic.
  • Only 8% of the homes had a telephone.
  • Policeman arrested women for smoking in public.
  • A three-minute call from Denver to New York City cost $11.
  • Sugar cost $0.04/pound. Eggs were $0.14/dozen. Coffee cost $0.15/pound.
  • There were only 8,000 cars in the U.S. and only 144 miles of paved roads.
  • The maximum speed limit in most cities was 10 mph.
  • Alabama, Mississippi, Iowa, and Tennessee were each more heavily populated than California. With a mere 1.4 million residents, California was only the 21st most populated state in the Union.
  • There was $46,000,000 in the U.S. Treasury.
  • The average wage in the U.S. was $0.22/hour.
  • The average worker made $12.98/week for 59 hours.
  • The average American worker made between $200-$400/year.
  • A competent accountant could expect to earn $2000/year, a dentist $2,500/year, a veterinarian between $1,500-$4,000/year, and a mechanical engineer about $5,000/year.
  • More than 95% of all births in the U.S. took place at home.
  • 90% of all U.S. physicians had no college education. Instead, they attended medical schools, many of which were condemned in the press and by the government as "substandard."
  • The five leading causes of death in the U.S. were:
  1. Pneumonia and influenza
  2. Tuberculosis
  3. Diarrhea
  4. Heart disease
  5. Stroke
  • The American flag had 45 stars. Arizona, Oklahoma, New Mexico, Hawaii and Alaska hadn't been admitted to the Union yet.
  • The population of Las Vegas, Nevada was 30.
  • One in ten American adults couldn't read or write.
  • Only 6% of all Americans had graduated from high school.
  • Only 5 percent of households consisted of people living alone while 20 percent had seven or more people.
  • Electric traffic lights had not yet been invented.
  • Fewer than 1 percent of the nation's men and women (age 15 and over) were divorced.
  • There were only about 230 reported murders in the entire U.S.
  • Public school students were led each day in prayer and Bible reading.
  • The tallest structure in the world was the Eiffel Tower.
  • There were no Mother's Day or Father's Day.
  • Radio and TV had not yet been invented.
  • The Ice Cream Cone had not yet been invented.
  • Crossword puzzles, canned beer, and iced tea hadn't been invented.
  • Most women only washed their hair once a month and used borax or egg yolks for shampoo.
  • Coca Cola contained cocaine.
  • Marijuana, heroin and morphine were all available over the counter at corner drugstores. According to one pharmacist, "Heroin clears the complexion, gives buoyancy to the mind, regulates the stomach and the bowels, and is, in fact, a perfect guardian of health."
  • Canada passed a law prohibiting poor people from entering the country for any reason.
Wow, I don't know about you dear friend, but after reading those startling facts, I am grateful to have lived in the latter 20th and early 21st century. We are so blessed today! I am more than amazed how much the world has advanced in KNOWLEDGE, and in man's ability to travel TO AND FRO, over the past century. We are living in a time of fulfilled Bible prophecy.

The Bible Colleges Are Becoming Secularized

Romans 16:17-18, “Now I beseech you, brethren, mark them which cause divisions and offences contrary to the doctrine which ye have learned; and avoid them. For they that are such serve not our Lord Jesus Christ, but their own belly; and by good words and fair speeches deceive the hearts of the simple.”

I was absolutely disgusted this morning when I looked at my Twitter account. Here is a post by Dr. Clarence Sexton, pastor of the Temple Baptist Church in Powell, Tennessee. The church also operates Crown College as one of their many ministries. I think the following is disgraceful...

The Apostasy At Crown College in Powell, Tennessee

That is terrible! What this means is that Crown College will be offering vocational courses (e.g., welding, flying an airplane, nursing, engineering, law enforcement training, et cetera). I am not sure of the specific courses that Crown College will offer, but it is obvious from Pastor Sexton's tweet on Twitter that their college will be offering welding skills. The courses I just listed are offered at Pensacola Christian College (PCC). Crown College is now offering vocational classes, which in my humble opinion is truly sad for several reasons:
  1. It evidences that Crown College is money hungry (1st Timothy 6:28-11).
  2. It evidences that Crown College is becoming secularized. The now pro-homosexual 'The University Of Chicago' was started by a Baptist preacher in 1890 as a Christian institution. Today the vile college is a cesspool of atheism, fornication and wickedness. Crown College is flushing down the same slippery slope as Bob Jones University and Pensacola Christian College. All of these apostate institutions have become woefully secularized, promoting false prophets like Ken Ham, Steve Pettit and John MacArthur. The love of money has corrupted all of them!
  3. It evidences that Crown College is moving away from building churches. When Pastor Jack Hyles started Hyles-Anderson College (HAC) in 1972, it was with the sole purpose of training anybody (young or old, male or female, healthy or disabled) who wanted to prepare for full-time Christian ministry. There were no vocational classes for carnally-minded students. Sadly, since 2008 the First Baptist Church of Hammond, Indiana (and HAC that they own and control) no longer believe and preach that the King James Bible is without error and inspired.
  4. It evidences that Crown College has become greedy.
  5. It evidences that Crown College is not right with God.
  6. It will draw carnally-minded students to Crown College, who care not about serving the Lord, they just want a trade skill.
  7. Over time, Crown College will continue to change for the worse, as they have already. Dr. Jack Hyles often said that every Bible college will eventually go apostate, but the church is promised Divine Perpetuity from God. So a college is destined to fail, but a church doesn't have to. Hyles-Anderson College is corrupt today, sadly because the pulpit at First Baptist Church of Hammond, Indiana, became corrupted first.
Tragically, PCC's joke called “Campus Church” is anything but a church. It is a chapel, not a Bible church. PCC leadership have huge egos and epitomize arrogance and sinful bigotry. From all that I have seen, making money is what matters most to all these religious institutions. So they refrain from stepping on anybody's toes. Ecumenism (cooperation between believers and unbelievers) is dangerous to a church. Why doesn't PCC, BJU and Crown College expose damnable heresy and counterfeit plans of salvation? They don't and won't contend for the faith!!!

For example: Pastor Jeff Redlin is a mere employee at PCC. They don't give a damn about individual people. Hurting and broken people are shunned, looked down upon and rejected by the Satanic PCC CULT. They're just playing the game of church. PCC leadership has wickedly banned me since August of 2022 from attending their Campus Church, because they are prejudiced bigots, KKK type haters and ungodly respecters of persons. I criticized Jeff Redlin on social media for mistreating me when I attended Campus Church in 2021, for which they refuse to forgive me at PCC or give me a second chance. That is what the heathen world does, not God's children. I am not one of their indoctrinated cult members, I think objectively for myself (a big no, no at PCC). They just don't care about individual people! I speak that to their utter shame and contempt in the PCC camp.

I was utterly disgusted in 2016 when I heard Pastor Clarence Sexton begging his church congregation for $1,000,000 to renovate Crown College. Pastor Steven L. Anderson is so right—the apostate religious Bible colleges are growing bigger and bigger, while the churches that support them are shrinking smaller and smaller. ...

“By-vocational ministry” refers to working preachers, who serve God while working a secular job at the same time. The Apostle Paul made tents on the side to support Himself. During Jesus' earthly ministry, He had a few women support Him. Luke 8:2-3, “And certain women, which had been healed of evil spirits and infirmities, Mary called Magdalene, out of whom went seven devils, And Joanna the wife of Chuza Herod's steward, and Susanna, and many others, which ministered unto him of their substance. Amen.

There is nothing wrong with a man learning a vocational skill. When I attended Hyles-Anderson College my first year in 1985 to 1986, I realized that I needed to find a better paying job than United Parcel Service (UPS). I worked at UPS part time (that's all they would give us, so they didn't have to provide any benefits). I hated that job, even though I appreciated the job. We used to call UPS, “Undergoing Personal Suicide.” It was that bad! I had a box of Jorgensen Bolts fall off a conveyer and hit me in the head, which could have killed me.

I decided to take a break from Bible college for a year to attend Lincoln Technical Institute to learn auto and truck repair. I worked hard and attained high grades, 9 A's and 3 B's. There were 12 classes total. I gave it my best! I then got married in August of 1987 and decided to take 6 more months off from Bible college, to get settled into my marriage without overdoing it. There was no internet back then, so I had to drive 50 miles from Chicago, Illinois to Crownpoint, Indiana every day for school. I couldn't do it 5 days a week, so I took classes for either 3 or 2 days a week. After classes I had to drive 70 miles to Melrose Park, Illinois, where I worked as a truck mechanic and paid my own way through Bible college. It only took me 8 years...lol. I finally and gratefully graduated in 1993.

In hindsight, I regret deciding to become a mechanic. The school's TV commercials show all the mechanics with clean hands, neatly pressed clean uniforms, with no sign of grease or dirt; but in reality you become a walking grease rag. Your hands become catcher's mitts for splintered metal, hitting your hands with hammers and all sorts of painful injuries and lasting scars. The average mechanic only lasts for a few years, because it is rough work. We used to call working on trucks, “bull work,” because it is rough, tough and dangerous work. I am fortunate that I didn't get killed working under and around trucks.

Also, if I could go back and choose a different trade, hands down it would have been cooking school. The culinary arts never change! People's taste buds never change. Recipes never change. Once you learn how to cook great tasty meals, you have a lifetime skill. Not everybody owns or has a broken car, but everybody loves to eat good food. Ninety percent of everything I learned about working on cars and trucks in 1986 is obsolete today, just like learning Computer Science (the technology changes almost overnight). So if you want my humble advice on a great skill to pursue, learn how to cook! I would also recommend learning Business Management if you have the opportunity, so when you learn to cook great food you can open and manage your own business (whether it be a restaurant or starting your own ice cream company like Ben & Jerry's did.

Having said all that, I am thankful that Hyles-Anderson College DIDN'T offer vocational classes, because it would have changed the whole atmosphere of the college. I cannot even imagine sitting in my pajamas at my computer, earning a degree in Pastoral Theology without ever leaving my residence. The relentless driving back and forth—in sun, rain, sleet, ice and snow; a few car crashes and near fatal mishaps; umpteen car breakdowns, being stranded on the highway at night in a bad neighborhood, et cetera—that all gave me tenacity, ruggedness and better character! We were required as students to be actively involved in a ministry of the First Baptist Church of Hammond, as long as we attended HAC. I cherish that hard work, group effort, fellowship, daily chapel and character building activities. Earning a degree at home cannot even compare to actually sitting in a classroom with other like-minded students, and attending chapel to hear Gospel singing and Bible preaching every day.

Dr. Hyles had a strong conviction that teachers couldn't reproduce preachers; only preachers can reproduce preachers!!! So Brother Hyles put active soulwinning preachers into all the classrooms, so that we could be trained by preachers to stand for God. That is in part why Pastor Steven Anderson is as fired up as he is, because of Pastor Jack Hyles influence on him. Pastor Anderson is an alumni of Hyles-Anderson College, as am I too. My ministry preaching is bold, in your face, compassionate, offensive to many, unapologetic and uncompromisingly. I got that from being around Dr. Jack Hyles (1926-2001).

My humble opinion is that when a Bible college starts offering secular vocational courses, it is the Devil's foothold in the door. I am fully convinced that the reason BJU, PCC and now Crown College offer vocational classes is for THE LOVE OF MONEY!!! Sadly, I also see that all of these corrupt institutions wickedly bid Godspeed to false prophet Ken Ham...

The FALSE GOSPEL of ANSWERS IN GENESIS and KEN HAM

BJU, PCC and Crown College have all invited Ken Ham to speak at their colleges and churches. IT IS WICEDNESS!!! Why don't these overpaid 6-digit salaried pastors wickedly bid Godspeed to Ken Ham's counterfeit plan of salvation, making themselves ungodly partakers of his evil deeds? It is because none of them give a damn about right doctrine. Nowhere in the inspired King James Bible are we taught to turn away from our evil ways to get to Heaven, which according to Jonah 3:10 is WORKS. Jonah 3:10, “And God saw their works, that they turned from their evil way; and God repented of the evil, that he had said that he would do unto them; and he did it not. The Ninevites didn't get saved, they were spared God's wrath and judgment upon their nation, because they repented of their sins. Judas also repented of his sins in Matthew 27:3, but still died in his sins and went to Hell in unbelief.

I think it is tragic that BJU, PCC, Crown College and other money hungry religious institutions are now offering secular vocational trades, which detracts from building churches. Again, I am not against a young person obtaining a trade skill, but Bible colleges ought to remain BIBLE COLLEGES, not welding colleges! Mark my words, examine Crown College in 20 to 30 years, and see where they are at spiritually. The greatest threat to churches today are ungodly compromisers like Clarence Sexton, Jeff Redlin, Marty Herron, Church Phelps, Steve Pettit and other incompetent leaders of the faith. They are dropping the ball for the home team!

It is pathetic to see our nation's biggest Bible colleges becoming 'one stop shops' for all your needs, spiritual or secular, doesn't matter. Evidently Crown College wants to become the Walmart of Christendom. To do so, just cheapens the whole purpose of starting a Christian college in the first place, and encourages the wrong type of students to enroll. Let the heathen world train the welders, veterinarians, bicycle repairman and engineers. Sadly, the end result of today's “Bible colleges gone crazy” will be a whole new generation of incompetent clowns for pastors. We've got too many clowns in the pulpit already. Enough!

America is going to Hell because the ignorant churches that continue to hire incompetent graduates from today's crappy apostate Bible colleges. Dear reader, I encourage you to do everything in your power to convince young people NOT to attend PCC, BJU or Crown College, unless you want their faith in the Holy Bible shaken. Sadly, everybody just wants to get along, sinfully compromise, take the easy path and collect their ungodly 6-digit paychecks.

By the way, NONE of those collages (PCC, BJU, Crown College and Sadly HAC) believe that we have an inspired Holy Bible in the English language today. They all errantly insist and foolishly teach that ONLY the original autographs on the Word of God were inspired, which don't exist on earth anymore. All we have are translations and copies of copies of copies of God's Word. Since we don't have any of the originals, we must have a preserved inspired translation, otherwise God is a liar (Psalms 12:6-7). I humbly believe with all certainty that the King James Bible is that preserved inspired Holy Bible.

I wouldn't give you a penny for 97% of today's so-called “Bible colleges.” In truth, they are preachers cemeteries!!! It is so shameful. The Devil's colleges don't teach how to build churches. So if the churches don't do it, then who will? Yet, professed Christian colleges are now teaching the same secular courses that heathen world does. Go figure! I say, let the Devil's crowd teach the secular courses. There's enough heathen schools where you can learn to weld. We need a whole new breed of preachers in America!

It Matters Which Bible We Use!

How Will People Be Saved During The Millennium, Since They Will See Jesus?

John 20:29, “Jesus saith unto him, Thomas, because thou hast seen me, thou hast believed: blessed are they that have not seen, and yet have believed.”

Someone recently asked me a very good question. Bible prophecy teaches that when Jesus Christ returns, 7 years AFTER the Pretribulation Rapture takes place, He will put down the Antichrist and establish His earth Kingdom from Jerusalem. The next 1,000 year reign of Christ (as all saints helping Him reign - Revelation 20:6) is called in theology: the “Millennium.

So I was asked how will it be possible for anyone to be saved during the Millennium, since everyone will see Jesus in the flesh. I mean, isn't faith trusting in what you cannot see? No, that is not what faith means! Faith is putting your confidence in Jesus, believing that He is the only begotten Son of God, the Christ. Faith is believing that facts that you are a guilty sinner, and that Christ died in your place on the cross, was buried and then bodily resurrected three days later. If that is your only hope for Heaven, then you are saved dear reader. You are a bonafide born-again child of God.

Scriptural evidence of what I say is found in John 20:29, “Jesus saith unto him, Thomas, because thou hast seen me, thou hast believed: blessed are they that have not seen, and yet have believed. I love that! John 20:29b, “Thomas, because thou hast seen me, thou hast believed... Here we see clear Scriptural evidence that a person CAN believe in something that is right in front of their eyes. However, Jesus promised that there is a special blessing for those who BELIEVE, but have never seen Jesus in person. What further saith the Scripture? ...
1st Peter 1:7-9, “That the trial of your faith, being much more precious than of gold that perisheth, though it be tried with fire, might be found unto praise and honour and glory at the appearing of Jesus Christ: Whom having not seen, ye love; in whom, though now ye see him not, yet believing, ye rejoice with joy unspeakable and full of glory: Receiving the end of your faith, even the salvation of your souls.”
As an adopted child of God since I was age 13, by faith I have believed in whom I cannot see. Jesus Christ is my blessed Savior. I believe Jesus is the only begotten Son of God, my Redeemer, Creator, God, Friend, Lord and Savior. The true account of Thomas in the Bible is proof that lost sinners will be saved during the Millennial period, by simply accepting God's written Word as recorded in the inspired Scriptures, concerning who Christ is and what He did for us and why He needed to do it. To be saved you MUST agree with these FACTS:
  • WHO Jesus is - The Christ, the only begotten Son of God (John 20:31)
  • WHAT Jesus did - He died on a cross for our sins, was buried and resurrected from the dead the third day (1st Corinthians 15:1-6)
  • WHY Jesus needed to die - It is because all humanity are sinners deserving of eternal damnation in Hell (Romans 3:19-23)
Simply BELIEVE IT, oh guilty and needy sinner, and you will be immediately and forever saved!

False Prophet Bryan Denlinger
Bryan Denlinger, who is an unsaved Calvinist, has a popular YouTube channel. Sadly, Bryan is an infidel, an unsaved false prophet, who denies salvation by faith alone...

Bryan Denlinger Exposed - Repentance Blacklist and Works Salvation

Bryan Denlinger hates Pastor Jack Hyles, Steven Anderson and anybody who preaches a free grace Gospel. Mankind by nature wants to help save himself, so he wickedly ADDS works to God's ultimate sacrifice (i.e., His only begotten Son) which was provided solely by Jesus through Calvary's cross. Jesus shed His precious blood and took that blood to sprinkle upon the heavenly Mercy Seat located in the Holy of Holies (Hebrews 9:12, 22-24; 12:24). Without the shedding of Jesus' blood (God's blood - Acts 20:28) there is no remission for sin. That is what the wonderful book of Hebrews is all about.

Bryan rationalizes that since everyone will physically see Jesus during the 1,000 year Millennium, salvation by faith will not be possible. So, he just assumes redemption will be by works. But, Jacob met the Lord face-to-face and still had faith. Genesis 32:30, “And Jacob called the name of the place Peniel: for I have seen God face to face, and my life is preserved.”

Abraham had conversations with the Lord; such as, when Abraham begged the Lord not to destroy Sodom if he could just find 10 righteous people. Jesus' apostles saw Him walk through walls, raise the dead and physically ascend into the clouds (Acts 1:11). Yet they had faith in Jesus, without works (Genesis 15:6; Romans 4:4-7). Bryan Denlinger is a darn fool, unlearned and woefully ignorant concerning the Word of God.

Jesus told everyone, everywhere that He went, that if they saw Him they saw God the Father. This is because Jesus came to earth as the Godhead incarnate. That is, God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit, fully dwelt inside the spirit, soul and body of God the Son on earth (Colossians 2:9).

So faith is not just trusting in the invisible, as evidenced when Jesus rebuked doubting Thomas. The risen Savior had already appeared to the other disciples, but Thomas was out to lunch or something. When Thomas came back, he was so hurt in his soul that he vowed that unless he SAW THE SAVIOR, he refused to believe. So Jesus graciously appeared PHYSICALLY to Thomas, and invited him to touch His nail-scared hands, and thrust his hand into Jesus' wounded side. Thomas did so.

Afterwards, Jesus commended Thomas for his faith, but said blessed are they who have not seen, yet they still believe. John 20:29, “Jesus saith unto him, Thomas, because thou hast seen me, thou hast believed: blessed are they that have not seen, and yet have believed.” I love that. We have a special blessing from God because we trust in a Savior we've never seen, met nor heard. Albeit, the fact that Thomas had faith, ONLY BECAUSE HE SAW, proves that you can have faith even in plain sight of the Savior.

Faith is not always a matter of trusting what we cannot see, but also believing what we can see. We have the Holy Bible, which we CAN see. We have nature, which we CAN see. We have the godly testimony of other saints, which we CAN see. Hebrews 11:1, Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.” Most people interpret this verse wrong. They think it means faith is to trust in something invisible. But faith is believing that Jesus is the Savior, who is whom He claimed to be—the Christ, the only begotten Son of God.

Why did Peter trust Jesus, but Judas didn't? So we see that faith is trusting upon the Savior, whether visible or invisible. The Apostles all saw Jesus (God) face to face and ministered by His side for 3 years. All believed upon Him, except one, Judas. It will be the same way during the Millennium period. People will see Jesus, who will serve as our worthy omnipotent King, over the whole earth from David's throne in Jerusalem. Some people will trust Jesus, others won't, but they will ALL see Him, just as all of the apostles and thousands of disciples did.

The Holy Spirit Convicts Believers Of Sin

John 7:7, “The world cannot hate you; but me it hateth, because I testify of it, that the works thereof are evil.” John 16:8, “And when He is come, He will reprove the world of sin, and of righteousness, and of judgment.”

As a born-again Bible believing Christian and a fundamentalist Baptist preacher, I am always on guard about strange doctrine and demonic heresies which surface on social media. I learned yesterday that there is a strange doctrine being circulated on social media right now, which claims that the Holy Spirit does not convict believers about the sins in our life. Nothing could be further from the truth. In fact, the blessed Holy Spirit DOES convict humans about sin, whether saved or lost.

Pastor Jack Hyles (1926-2001) gives a wonderful helpful explanation of the relationship between conviction from our human conscience, the Bible, Jesus and the Holy Spirit...
4. The Holy Spirit. John 16:8, "And when He is come, He will reprove the world of sin, and of righteousness, and of judgment." We call the Holy Spirit the university of conviction. We have learned form the conscience what NOT to do and from the Bible the type thing we are TO DO; in Jesus we see a model of the above; now the Holy Spirit adds another dimension. He comes to tell us that sin is wrong, but He tells us specifically WHERE to go and WHAT good to do. When one by his conscience has been convicted of his wrong and by the Bible has been taught principles of what is right and sees both of them combined in the perfect life of Christ, he then must come to the Holy Spirit and ask what good he is supposed to do. The conscience says, "You should not be here. You should leave." The Bible comes along and tells you the type of area into which you should go. The Holy Spirit then tells you into WHICH of the desirable areas you should go.

A man is driving too fast on the highway. He does not know the speed limit and his speedometer is not working, and yet something tells him that he is driving too fast. This is the conscience. He then sees a speed limit sign and his speedometer begins to work, so he finds not only that he is driving too fast but exactly how fast he is driving. The speed limit sign and the speedometer symbolize the Word of God. He then notices another driver who is driving carefully within the speed limit. This typifies Jesus, the pattern of the Spirit-filled life. Then he asks the Holy Spirit to tell him WHERE to drive and EXACTLY HOW FAST to drive.

In summary, the conscience tells us what we should NOT do. The Bible comes along and verifies the conscience and adds the type thing we SHOULD do. Jesus comes along and shows us the perfect EXAMPLE. Then the Holy Spirit tells us WHICH good thing we should do and which acceptable area is God's place for our lives.

If one leaves out the Holy Spirit, he may drive properly in the wrong place. If one leaves out the Bible and the Holy Spirit and trusts only his conscience, he may come out of the wrong place but not know where to go and will no doubt, sooner or later, return to the place where he should not be. Hence, the wise Christian will be careful to listen to his conscience concerning evil. He will examine the Scriptures to find Bible principles that tell him what not to do and what to do. He will study the life of Jesus and ask the Holy Spirit to help him become more and more fashioned in His likeness. Then day by day and moment by moment he will walk in the Spirit, asking the Holy Spirit that EXACT place that he should be and the exact thing that he should be doing.

Bravo Dr. Hyles! I love how Pastor Hyles breaks the matter down into a simple to understand way. By God's grace, Dr. Hyles turned the Holy Bible into a science (a study). ...

The Science Of The Christian Life MP3 Series

The Holy Spirit DOES convict God's children about the sins in our life. There is nothing mysterious or superstitious about this great Bible truth. The Holy Spirit is simply God with us. The Godhead lives inside the spirit, soul and body of every believer in the form of the blessed Holy Spirit. John 14:23, “Jesus answered and said unto him, If a man love me, he will keep my words: and my Father will love him, and we will come unto him, and make our abode with him.” Romans 8:9, “But ye are not in the flesh, but in the Spirit, if so be that the Spirit of God dwell in you. Now if any man have not the Spirit of Christ, he is none of his.

In the Epistle of James, the Apostle James writes in James 4:8, “Draw nigh to God, and he will draw nigh to you. Cleanse your hands, ye sinners; and purify your hearts, ye double minded. It is important to understand the difference between our POSITION as God's children in Christ, versus our CONDITION in Christ. The moment that we got saved, our POSITION as God's redeemed and adopted child was forever settled. The old account was settled long ago. Our sins are forever washed away by Christ's precious blood.

So even if a saint is still a practicing homosexual, he or she is 100% safe and secure in God's promise of the free gift of eternal life, which is obtained through faith alone in Jesus Christ (Philippians 3:9). Romans 6:1, “What shall we say then? Shall we continue in sin, that grace may abound?” Believers should depart from a lifestyle of open sin, but the truth is that we all still live a lifestyle of sinning, because no one can stop sinning. We are all sinners by nature and by choice. So it is possible for a practicing homosexual, adulterer, gossipier, thief or any other horrible sinner to still be 100% safe and secure in God's free gift of eternal life, because we are saved by what Jesus did on Calvary's cross, and not be what we do.

When we sin as God's children, the Lord deals with our heart, convicting us through the Holy Spirit to repent (change our mind) to forsake those sins. So don't let anybody deceive or confuse you theologically to think that God's Holy Spirit doesn't convict us about sin. It is true that our sins have all been forgiven and washed away POSITIONALLY in Christ. Albeit, our CONDITION in Christ is strictly a matter of sanctification and service. Romans 12:1, “I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service.” Serving God as a believer is not our “mandatory service”; but rather, it is our “reasonable service.”

The conscience tells us what we should NOT do. The Bible comes along and verifies the conscience and adds the type thing we SHOULD do. Jesus comes along and shows us the perfect EXAMPLE. Then the Holy Spirit tells us WHICH good thing we should do and which acceptable area is God's place for our lives.
