Draw Nigh Unto God And He Will Draw Nigh Unto You

James 4:1-17, “From whence come wars and fightings among you? come they not hence, even of your lusts that war in your members? Ye lust, and have not: ye kill, and desire to have, and cannot obtain: ye fight and war, yet ye have not, because ye ask not. Ye ask, and receive not, because ye ask amiss, that ye may consume it upon your lusts. Ye adulterers and adulteresses, know ye not that the friendship of the world is enmity with God? whosoever therefore will be a friend of the world is the enemy of God. Do ye think that the scripture saith in vain, The spirit that dwelleth in us lusteth to envy? But he giveth more grace. Wherefore he saith, God resisteth the proud, but giveth grace unto the humble. Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you. Draw nigh to God, and he will draw nigh to you. Cleanse your hands, ye sinners; and purify your hearts, ye double minded. Be afflicted, and mourn, and weep: let your laughter be turned to mourning, and your joy to heaviness. Humble yourselves in the sight of the Lord, and he shall lift you up. Speak not evil one of another, brethren. He that speaketh evil of his brother, and judgeth his brother, speaketh evil of the law, and judgeth the law: but if thou judge the law, thou art not a doer of the law, but a judge. There is one lawgiver, who is able to save and to destroy: who art thou that judgest another? Go to now, ye that say, To day or to morrow we will go into such a city, and continue there a year, and buy and sell, and get gain: Whereas ye know not what shall be on the morrow. For what is your life? It is even a vapour, that appeareth for a little time, and then vanisheth away. For that ye ought to say, If the Lord will, we shall live, and do this, or that. But now ye rejoice in your boastings: all such rejoicing is evil. Therefore to him that knoweth to do good, and doeth it not, to him it is sin.”

I learned many years ago that the proper way to study the Bible is to never lift a particular Scripture out of context; but rather, interpret that verse within the context of the entire surrounding passage. The main Bible verse that I wanted to use to write this blog is from James 4:8, “Draw nigh to God, and he will draw nigh to you. Cleanse your hands, ye sinners; and purify your hearts, ye double minded.” So I then looked at the adjacent verses, to make sure I got the correct interpretation.

But as I went verse by verse, adding more surrounding Scriptures to go along with my text verse from James 4:8, I realized the the entire chapter of James chapter 4 needs to be included, because it is all applicable. And of a truth, I suppose we would need to include the entire cannon of 66 books of Scripture, since all of the Bible must be considered when interpreting any particular Scripture. When our suggested interpretation agrees with all of the Holy Bible, then we know we've found the correct meaning. But if even one verse in the Bible disagrees with our suggested interpretation, then we know that we must keep looking, because we have the wrong interpretation.

For example: Mark 16:16, “He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned.” At a glance, a person might errantly conclude that water baptism is required to go to Heaven. But if we look at 1st Corinthians 1:17, we know this is not accurate, “For Christ sent me not to baptize, but to preach the gospel: not with wisdom of words, lest the cross of Christ should be made of none effect.” Clearly, if water baptism were required to be saved, then Paul never would have made these statements. Please also consider that God authored the Epistle of 1st John so that each believer can “know that ye have eternal life” (1st John 5:13b). Yet, John never mentions any form of baptism in his epistle.

So in James 4:8 we have a solemn PROMISE from God almighty, that if we will simple draw nigh (near) unto Him, then He also will draw nigh unto us. The reason why we must draw near first is to show that we are humble. James 4:6-7, “But he giveth more grace. Wherefore he saith, God resisteth the proud, but giveth grace unto the humble. Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.” God avoids proud people. The churches today are filled with proud and arrogant pastors and members.

You can tell when someone is proud by how they respond to broken sinners. How do they treat them? When I attended Campus Church at Pensacola Christian College, Pastor Jeff Redlin mistreated me horribly. One of my ministry's bitter enemies had sent him some slander about me on the internet to the Campus Church, to attack me. As a fool, Jeff Redlin believed the slander and mistreated me as a result. At first he wouldn't respond to my emails, shunning me away. But then when I persistently asked him what was wrong, he told me that someone had sent him gossip, and he believed the untrue rumors as only a fool does. Jeff Redlin is a wicked person, a fool, an abusive clergy who has no business standing behind any pulpit. Pastor Jeff Redlin is sinfully proud, arrogant, a holier-than-thou hypocrite, who shamefully condemned me based upon unfounded slander. That is a really bad pastor!

DRAW NIGH UNTO GOD the Bible promises, and HE WILL DRAW NIGH UNTO YOU. But please notice the conditions in the surrounding verses. We are commanded in verses 8-10 to “Be afflicted, and mourn, and weep: let your laughter be turned to mourning, and your joy to heaviness. Humble yourselves in the sight of the Lord, and he shall lift you up.” If you want to get close to God, you need to share His yoke, that is, His burden over rampant sin in American society today, and God's burden for the lost to be saved. It is no different than with earthly friends. If you want to get closer to a friend, you share their interests and hobbies. You find out what is important to them and you learn about those things. That is what a good friend does! Many people do not know the differenced between a friend and a mere acquaintance (someone you know). A friend is a gift from God.

The world always wants top party hardy and have a good time. You will need to break away from all that if you want to draw nigh unto God. You don't find God in the crowd, you find Him alone at home or in nature. You don't find God in the churches, you find Him in the body, soul and spirit of every born-again child of God (1st Corinthians 3:16-17; Romans 8:9; 1st John 3:24). I love the blessed Holy Spirit, who is God living inside of me (and every believer).

The Bible tells us also in James 4:11 not to slander our Christian brother or sister. You cannot draw near unto God vertically, while slandering and being at odds with your earthly brethren horizontally. Being right with God CONDITIONALLY requires being right with man on earth. Matthew 5:23-24, “Therefore if thou bring thy gift to the altar, and there rememberest that thy brother hath ought against thee; Leave there thy gift before the altar, and go thy way; first be reconciled to thy brother, and then come and offer thy gift.” It does matter how we treat others. No one can walk with God who mistreats people. I know Pastor Jeff Redlin doesn't walk with God, because he was mean, abusive, uncaring, inconsiderate, indifferent and calloused toward me and THE TRUTH that I gave him.

Campus Church preaches blatant heresy about Bible repentance. The deadly lie of “repent OF YOUR SIN” to be saved has crept into 90% of Baptist churches across the world. You cannot show me any such teaching in the inspired King James Bible. It is truly sad and tragic, causing millions of people to perish in their sins and spend eternity burning in the fires of Hell. The Southern Baptist Convention (SBA) alone has 45,000 member churches, all of which cling to the Devil's heresy that to get to Heaven you must turn away from your sinful ways. That cannot be a gift! A gift by every definition of the word means something freely received WITHOUT COMPENSATION OR OBLIGATION. So how can a person be saved if they must keep the law (don't steal, don't commit adultery, don't bear false witness, et cetera)?

Jesus plainly told the Samaritan woman at the well in John 4:24, “God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth.” You absolutely CANNOT worship God in heresy! The Satanic Roman and Orthodox Catholic church worships God in vain, worshipping Him with ceremonies and rituals, but not in spirit. If you have ever attended a Catholic church mass, then you know exactly what I mean, the place is totally devoid of the Holy Spirit of God. The spirit of Satan permeates the entire Catholic religion, from the top to the bottom!!!

The entire chapter of James 4 tells us how to draw close to God. We read at the beginning of the chapter about the friendship of the ungodly world, which is enmity (enemies) with God. Verse 4 says that to be a friend (to assist) the world is to become GOD'S ENEMY!!! Most pastors today are God's enemy and don't even realize it, because they support the Devil's counterfeit Bible revisions, and they preach the Devil's damnable lies of Lordship Salvation and Wrong Repentance (aka, “turn away from your sins” to be saved garbage).

Although it is true that in order to turn TOWARD Christ, you must also turn AWAY from someone, that something is not committing sins; that something is UNBELIEF. The only requirement to be saved is that you first know what you are being saved from, and that is from THE WAGES OF OUR SINS, which is Hell. Romans 6:23, “For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.” You don't need to forsake your sinful living to be saved; but contrawise, Jesus came to die for your sins so that you could be forgiven of them! Whatever changes God wants to see happen in your life will be dealt with by the indwelling Holy Spirit AFTER you are in Christ, and you can rest assured that God will attend to that department of your life. God is not an absent parent (Hebrews 12:6-8).

Bob Jones University (BJU) today is a dangerous religious cult! BJU in 2022 is very different than when Dr. Bob Jones Sr. (1883-1968) was at the helm. “Dr. Bob” as he was known was 100% right on the Gospel, teaching that we simply “believe” to be saved. BJU teaches something very different today, requiring that you also repent and turn from your sins to be saved, which is exactly what the Mormons teach! First here is what BJU teaches in their official statement of faith. Bob Jones University is pulling on the same rope as the Devil! Here is a deceptive quote from their college's website:

With regard to the doctrine of Soteriology:

We believe Scripture teaches that salvation is by grace alone, through faith alone, in Christ alone (Eph. 2:4–10; Rom. 3:21–26; Titus 3:5) and apart from any human work of righteousness (Phil. 3:9). God offers this salvation freely to all men who are willing to repent and turn from their sins (Acts 3:19, 17:30) and place their full faith and trust in the atonement Christ made by His finished work on the Cross (Luke 24:46–48, Heb. 9:11–15, 10:10–14). [emphasis added]

Now look at what the Mormon's teach on their official website:

“Repentance is one of the first principles of the gospel and is essential to our temporal and eternal happiness. It is much more than just acknowledging wrongdoings. It is a change of mind and heart that gives us a fresh view about God, about ourselves, and about the world. It includes turning away from sin and turning to God for forgiveness. It is motivated by love for God and the sincere desire to obey His commandments.” [emphasis added]

That is 100% Lordship Salvation! That is exactly what Harvest Baptist Church on Guam and Bob Jones University are sinfully preaching these days, for which God's curse is upon them! Galatians 1:8, “But though we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel unto you than that which we have preached unto you, let him be accursed.” Pastor Marty Herron is cursed! Pastor Gary Walton is cursed! BJU is cursed! Pacific Garden Mission and their 'UNSHACKLED' are cursed! Pastor John MacArthur is cursed, to whom Moody Bible Institute, BJU and the Bob Jones' crowd all bid Godspeed, making them partaker of his Calvinist counterfeit gospel! These men are devils in the pulpit today!!! The Mormon website further heretically states concerning repentance:

“Through the Atonement of Jesus Christ, our Father in Heaven has provided the only way for us to be forgiven of our sins. Jesus Christ suffered the penalty for our sins so we can be forgiven if we sincerely repent. As we repent and rely on His saving grace, we will be cleansed from sin.” [emphasis added]

I couldn't show you a clearer example of the heresy of partial faith in Christ, plus works. Nowhere does the Bible teach that we must “repent of our sins,” and continuing repenting of our sins as a lifestyle, to be saved. Evangelist Ray Comfort teaches this nightmare theology, that you must continuing repenting of your sins your whole life to be saved. Getting saved is not a process, it is a new birth! You don't get cleansed of sin as you make an effort to turn from them, and rely on Jesus' saving grace while you are doing it. This is a counterfeit gospel based upon works, and not faith alone. Do you see friend how evil Lordship Salvation is? It is a false Gospel that adds to faith. Whereas the Bible simply teaches to “believe” to be saved, proponents of Lordship Salvation require that you make an effort to turn from your sins, and then secondly trust Christ. That is NOT the Gospel which the King James Bible teaches!

Dear friend, you cannot draw nigh unto God until you are first His redeemed child. That is, you must experience the second birth. This happens only by faith alone in the Good News (Gospel) of Christ crucified, buried and risen the third day. I am wearied with all the Satanic heresy in churches today!!! The Bob Jones University crowd have infected thousands of churches with their spiritual rat-poison! Sadly, Pensacola Christian College has also been infected with the virus of Wrong Repentance.

God desires to draw near unto each of His children. The Lord is no respecter of persons. Simply be humble. Don't come to God with a critical spirit toward your brother or sister in Christ. God knows that I have often prayed for the ungodly pastors (e.g. Marty Herron, Gary Walton, Jeff Redlin, Sean Quinlan, Joe Hansen, Jared Baldwin) who have despitefully used me, cast out my good name as evil and persecuted me for contending for the faith. All of those names I mentioned are shameful leaders in apostate churches today! But I do not hate them, I hate their rotten attitudes! I hate what God hates, their arrogance and haughty pride. When I humbly handed them THE TRUTH, they sinfully rejected it (Hosea 4:6). Dr. Tom Ferrell rightly said that: “A friend helps a friend to see.” But when I befriended them with THE TRUTH that Lordship Salvation is not the Gospel, and repentance does not mean to “turn away from sinful living,” and the modern Bibles are perverted of the Devil, they spat in my face as they did Christ also. God will be my Judge (Romans 3:4). I have faithfully TOLD THE TRUTH!!!

So if you want to draw nigh unto God, you MUST walk in truth dear friends. 3rd John 1:4, “I have no greater joy than to hear that my children walk in truth.” Do you walk in truth friend? If you don't have a King James Bible, then you do not walk in truth, because you don't have THE TRUTH. Make sure to use ONLY the inspired King James Bible. Please don't let anyone tell you different.

 

We are also admonished in James 4:13-17 never to boast of our future plans without saying: “If the Lord will” or “God willing.” I always talk with those phrases, knowing what the Bible teaches in James. People sometimes look at me funny, but that is okay, I am obeying what God told me to do. It is a sin that Bible says to plan for your retirement someday, without including the fact that you might not be around to enjoy that day (Proverbs 27:1). We live in an unpredictable world. The world is full of wicked, greedy, adulterous and heathen infidels (1st John 5:19). PAYDAY SOMEDAY!!! I am glad to be on the winning side in Jesus Christ.

In this blog I am NOT speaking about getting saved, except to say that you cannot draw near unto God if you are not saved (1st Corinthians 2:14-16). I am speaking about WALKING WITH GOD. If you want to be close to God, you don't have to be perfect, He just wants you to GROW. 1st John 1:9, “If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.” Simply confess your sins and weaknesses to God, which means being honest with yourself first. You cannot fool God.

Walking with God should be a buddy type friendship, but a respectful one. We ought to fear God as we would a godly Father. The only time we need to literally be afraid of God is when we hurt others, because Matthew 7:1-2 warns that God will judge all men according to how we judge others! 2nd Corinthians 5:11 warns of the TERROR OF THE LORD!!! Hebrews 10:31, “It is a fearful thing to fall into the hands of the living God.” Can you imagine when George Harrison of The Beatles died in 2001, and fell into the hands of God almighty? I am saddened for George, who made it very clear that his Savior was not Jesus Christ, it was Hara Krishna. The Bible warns that salvation is found only in the name of Jesus (Acts 4:10-12). Jesus Himself said in John 14:6, “Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.”

The dearest thing to God is SOULWINNING!!! So if you really want to be close to God, then start sharing the Good News of Jesus Christ crucified, buried and risen (1st Corinthians 15:1-4). Treat people the way you want to be treated, with love and honesty (Matthew 7:12). Start sharing the Gospel with the people in your life, and those whom you meet (Luke 8:15). Abide in the Word of God day and night (Psalms 1: John 17:17; 2nd Timothy 3:16). Let Jesus live the Christian life through you (Galatians 2:20).

Present your body as a living sacrifice unto God, to serve Him with the talents, resources and gifts which He has entrusted to you (Romans 12:1). Let your light (good works and holy living) shine before men, so that your Father in Heaven may be glorified (Matthew 5:16). Do these things are you will become close to God. Pray without ceasing (1st Thessalonians 5:17). Spend time each day with the things of God, and just like a musical instrument, over time you'll become good at it. No one feels like they know God overnight.

I have been saved for 42 years, since 1980 when I was 13 years old. I feel closer to God today than I ever have. He is my Friend, my God and my Savior. I having a loving relationship with the Lord. We laugh and I am constantly sharing the humorous things in my life with Him. I know that Jesus loves me, not because I always feel it (and I sure do), but moreover because the Word of God tells me so (John 3:16). So many people make God out to be their worst enemy. But friend, it doesn't have to be that way. Let God love you, and then you will begin to love yourself, and only then can you let that love of God flow through you to others.

When I met Pastor Jeff Redlin in July of 2021 at Campus Church in Pensacola, Florida, I discerned right away that he is a shallow, immature and cold believer. John 5:42, “But I know you, that ye have not the love of God in you.” Mr. Redlin was fortunate to be chosen as the pastor of Campus Church at Pensacola Christian College(PCC), but unfortunately FOR THE STUDENTS at PCC, Jeff Redlin doesn't have God's love in Him. I felt nothing but contempt, hatred and despisement from him for the summer of 2021 at Campus Church. John 5:42, “But I know you, that ye have not the love of God in you.”

When you have God's love inside you, as I humbly do from walking with Jesus, you know quickly when someone doesn't have Christ's unconditional love for all humanity. I would expect the heathen world not to have God's love, but that is inexcusable for the pastor of any church, especially a giant place like Campus Church. PCC is not wise to hire and keep Jeff Redlin, a fool, because he does not have God's love in him. You show me a bad pastor who mistreats people (as Jeff Redlin did to me), and I'll show you a shallow man who DOESN'T walk with Jesus! John 5:42, “But I know you, that ye have not the love of God in you.”

When you walk with the Lord, He rubs off on you! Acts 4:13, “Now when they saw the boldness of Peter and John, and perceived that they were unlearned and ignorant men, they marvelled; and they took knowledge of them, that they had been with Jesus.” When you walk close to the blessed Savior, you WILL become bold to speak THE TRUTH. That is why I preach without apology or compromise against the ungodly Bob Jones University camp today. BJU is a cesspool of Lordship Salvation (i.e., Calvinist heresy). BJU promotes the Devil's corruptible seed (false bibles). BJU preaches Wrong Repentance (requiring people to keep the law to be saved).

Sadly, Pensacola Christian College (PCC) sinfully bids BJU Godspeed, which makes them partaker of their evil deeds (2nd John 1:11). I am BOLD to expose both of these wicked religious groups today, who combined are corrupting thousands of New Testament churches with their spiritual filth. BJU and PCC are carnally-minded, full of arrogant blinded supporters who are indifferent toward THE TRUTH. Therefore, they foolishly attack and criticize me and my faithful ministry of telling the truth for God. Romans 3:4, “God forbid: yea, let God be true, but every man a liar; as it is written, That thou mightest be justified in thy sayings, and mightest overcome when thou art judged.”

I Do Not Want To Grow Thicker Skin

Ephesians 4:29-32, “Let no corrupt communication proceed out of your mouth, but that which is good to the use of edifying, that it may minister grace unto the hearers. And grieve not the holy Spirit of God, whereby ye are sealed unto the day of redemption. Let all bitterness, and wrath, and anger, and clamour, and evil speaking, be put away from you, with all malice: And be ye kind one to another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God for Christ's sake hath forgiven you.”

Thinking back over my life, I can remember numerous occasions where carnally-minded people told me: “Stewart, you need to grow thicker skin!” They said that to me because I am a sensitive person. But I make no apologies for who God made me. I like being sensitive. If I weren't sensitive, right doctrine wouldn't matter to me. If I weren't sensitive, people would matter as much to me. I care because God cares. If you walk with God you WILL care about people, doctrine, little things and the small details of everything. God is a caring God!!!

I wonder about people who advise others to “grow thicker skin,” wanting them to become harder, tougher emotionally, more calloused and INSENSTIVE to the world around them. No thank you, I like being sensitive! I want to be in the moment, present, awake to righteousness, paying attention to the details. Folks, that is exactly what is wrong with pastors today like Jeff Redlin, Timothy Zacharias, Marty Herron, Steve Pettit, Gary Walton and Chuck Phelps—they have grown thicker skin and truth doesn't matter to them anymore, money does. People don't matter to them anymore. Oh sure, they'll say that people matter, because it would make them look bad and expose them if they told the truth, but their behavior and words (and disturbing lack thereof) evidences that people and truth really aren't important to them.

There is something wrong with a pastor or religious leader who is okay with using dozens of different Bible revisions. Which Bible we use matters! There is something woefully wrong with today's apostate clergy who are okay with the Devil's lie of Lordship Salvation, the Devil's lie of wrong repentance (aka, the “turn from your sin” garbage to be saved) and the Devil's corrupt bible versions. Somebody has got to care! Well, I do care.

Something is wrong with Pastor Sean Quinlan from the Pensacola Christian College (PCC) camp, who in 2018 wrongly accused me of being “obsessed over the Bible.” Something is wrong with the shameful pastors of the Harvest Baptist Church on Guam, who in 2017 called Dr. Jack Hyles, Pastor Al Lacy and me “a cult” for exposing the Devil's modern Bible perversions. Something is very wrong with Pastor Jeff Redlin of Campus Church at PCC, who in 2021 wrongly accused me of “finding weaknesses” in ungodly infidel pastors who preach Lordship Salvation. Today's preachers are pathetic!!!

It is high time for America's churches to fire their rotten apple pastors, and bring in humble men who love the truth, love hurting sinners and aren't too proud and haughty to change. It is time for a big change folks! WE NEED A SPIRITUAL REVIVAL in this nation! It is way past the time to clean house in the churches, to remove the dead branches and make way for the new. The churches need to be purged of the old dead pastors who refuse to heed THE TRUTH. Pastor Jeff Redlin berated and mistreated me for being a truth-teller. SHAME on Campus Church and Pensacola Christian College for allowing him to continue abusing people.

When I told Jeff Redlin that I was divorced for 16 years, hurting from loneliness and someday I longed to find a woman to remarry, he again berated me, actually scolding me for looking for a wife at Campus Church. That is not a genuine man of God, that is a horrible phony! Any godly pastor would have discerned my pain and shew some empathy, offering to pray with me over the matter. Jeff Redlin is an academic, not a man of God. He has no business leading people of any group size. It saddens me to know that thousands of PCC students will end up influenced by Mr. Redlin, growing THICKER SKIN like him, so that hurting redeemed sinners like me are made to feel like garbage when they attend Campus Church.

I humbly asked Pastor Redlin for an apology, for mistreating me as a divorced person, and for mistreating me for faithfully contending for the Christian faith, to which he refused and I never heard from him again. What a wicked person! In a word, Jeff Redlin is sinfully arrogant. God will judge between me and him (Romans 3:2). I have told THE TRUTH about the corrupt Bob Jones University crowd. Jeff Redlin sinfully bids them Godspeed (2nd John 1:11). The issue is not about me dear reader, it is about how pastors treat people. The issue is about the truth. The issue is about right doctrine. I am sick and tired of being insulted, mistreated, shunned, ostracized, slandered and hated by pastors for TELLING THE TRUTH. Go figure!

So, no, I don't want to grow “thicker skin,” ever. I like being sensitive. Some people might even call me “oversensitive,” but the truth is that they are INSENSITIVE!!! The Bible says that the Lord was not in the fire, the strong wind or the earthquake, He was just a small voice. ...

1st Kings 19:11-13, “And he said, Go forth, and stand upon the mount before the LORD.  And, behold, the LORD passed by, and a great and strong wind rent the mountains, and brake in pieces the rocks before the LORD; but the LORD was not in the wind: and after the wind an earthquake; but the LORD was not in the earthquake: And after the earthquake a fire; but the LORD was not in the fire: and after the fire a still small voice. And it was so, when Elijah heard it, that he wrapped his face in his mantle, and went out, and stood in the entering in of the cave.  And, behold, there came a voice unto him, and said, What doest thou here, Elijah?”

Dear friend, you won't find God in the strong wind of Campus Church, nor the strange fire of the Charismatic movement, nor in the earthquake of New Evangelicalism; but you will find God in the still, small, quite Voice of the Word of God. Luke 16:31, “And he said unto him, If they hear not Moses and the prophets, neither will they be persuaded, though one rose from the dead.” God doesn't speak to people through Franklin Graham's pro-Catholic heathen crusades. God doesn't speak today through milquetoast puppets like Jeff Redlin, who sinfully bids Godspeed to the Calvinist and Alexandrian cult at Bob Jones University. God speaks through humble nobody's like me, who faithfully preach THE INSPIRED WORD OF GOD!!! No man can be used of God who refuses to humble himself to the Scriptures!

We've got a bunch of theological liars in the churches today. The accursed Southern Baptist Convention (SBC) presently has 45,000 member churches, all of which subscribe to the demonic lie that you must “repent of your sin with all your heart” if you want to get to Heaven. No such teaching is found in the inspired King James Bible. So what the Devil's crowd has done is re-write the Bible to fit their ungodly corrupt theology. All of the new bibles say that you must turn away from living in sin to get to Heaven. But the Bible doesn't really say that.

For example: Consider Mark 1:15 in the Devil's Easy-To-Read Version (ERV)...

The Greek word for “repent” in Mark 1:15 in the King James Bible is metanoeo, which means, “to think differently.” This is the verb form of the word. The noun form is metanoia (“a change of mind”). Repentance is a simple change of mind. It DOESN'T mean to “change your hearts and lives,” which is what the corrupt ERV says!!! . . .

KING JAMES BIBLE (KJB) — Mark 1:15, “And saying, The time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God is at hand: repent ye, and believe the gospel.” [emphasis added]

EASY-TO-READ VERSION (ERV) — Mark 1:15, “He said, “The right time is now here. God’s kingdom is very near. Change your hearts and lives, and believe the Good News!” [emphasis added]

WICKEDNESS!!! That is wrong, wrong, wrong! Repentance is “a change of mind,” not “a change of heart and life.” You cannot show me anywhere in the Bible that says to “turn from sin” or “repent from sin” to be saved. Acts 20:21 speaks of “repentance toward God,” not from sin. 2nd Timothy 2:25 speaks of “repentance to the acknowledgment of the truth,” not from sin. We are saved by BELIEVING, not repenting. Yes, repentance is necessary for salvation, but to “repent” simply means to change your mind, acknowledging THE TRUTH that you are a lost sinner, so that you will believe the Gospel (Galatians 3:24-26).

I like my sensitive thin skin! I don't want to become hard, uncaring, calloused and insensitive like Pastor Jeff Redlin, Timothy Zacharias, Sean Quinlan, Marty Herron, Steve Pettit, Chuck Phelps, Joe Hansen, Jared Baldwin, Gary Walton, John MacArthur and other wicked pastors today who are destroying the work of God by their coldness, indifference and incompetence! Someday say, “Amen!”

The reason why I started my website ministry 20 years ago, by God's grace, back in 2002, is simply because I am sensitive. I do care! I have never accepted a single penny for my labors for Christ and never will. It is a labor of love for God, people and truth!!! My website stands apart from most other websites, because I make a fuss over the little details that New Evangelical pastors make fun of me over. They laugh at me at Pensacola Christian College, mocking me. Pastor Jeff Redlin and the other Campus Church pastors scorn my ministry because I preach THE TRUTH without compromise or apology like they do! I tell THE TRUTH, even if it offends some people. It is sad but true that my biggest ministry enemies are pastors! That is because some are jealous of me, like Sean Quinan and Jeff Redlin.

Others hate me because I expose their false teachings, like the pastors at Harvest Baptist Church cult on Guam. I exposed their demonic Lordship Salvation! I exposed their demonic Devil's bibles! I exposed their false unsaved idol, Martin Luther (1483-1546). Mr. Luther taught the heresy of Baptismal Regeneration (that you must be water baptized to go to Heaven) his entire life! That means Martin Luther went to Hell forever in his false religion. I say that sadly. NO ONE is saved who adds water baptism to faith alone in the Gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ!!!

Most of today's pastors, evangelists, missionaries and Bible college professors are blinded by Satan. They are serving mammon (a money-making career) and not God (Luke 16:13). They are serving their bellies and not the Lord Jesus Christ (Romans 16:17-18). They are wolves in sheep's clothing (Matthew 7:13-15).

Be Careful About Negative Thinking

Philippians 4:6-9, “Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God. And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus. Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things. Those things, which ye have both learned, and received, and heard, and seen in me, do: and the God of peace shall be with you.”

I receive quite a few emails and messages from people through my social media ministry. As such I see trends in people. A lot of believers struggle with mental problems, which are caused by themselves, from choosing to think negatively all the time.

I have several web visitors who email me to vent. Their emails are filled with wrath, bitterness, blaming others, angry at God, resentful of their less than ideal upbringing, complaining that there are no good churches in their area where they live, et cetera. Anyone who has written to me over the years, and knows my personality, knows that I love helping others. I take the time to respond with lengthy replies, sharing sermons and Biblical resources to help people. I do this in love for God, truth and people. I sincerely just want to be a blessing for Jesus Christ.

But I have a handful of troubled web visitors who are self-destructive in their thinking. They are constantly negative, complaining all the time, seeing everything in a negative light, confident that they are beyond hope spiritually. I am always patient at first, giving them the benefit of the doubt that they just need a loving friend who will not condemn them, but just listen with a caring and understanding soul. But after I have interacted with someone for a period of time, usually a few months, then I need to exert some tough love to help them.

Today I needed to do that. A young man has been writing to me for a couple years. We have exchanged hundreds of emails. He tells me that demons are afflicting him. Despite all the sermons, books and Bible resources I have shared with him about God's plan of salvation, he still says he cannot settle the matter. He thinks he may not be saved, because of sinful bad habits that he struggles with. I have tried and tried to help him, explaining that the sins in our life have absolutely nothing to do with God's free gift of eternal life.

So today I need to tell him that I cannot help him, nor can anyone else, until he changes his negative attitude. Everything I say to try to help him is countered with anger, excuses, blaming others and a spirit of defeat and doom! Everything in life is a mindset. I cried because I had no shoes, then I met a man who had no feet. The Bible says we are what we think! Proverbs 23:7, “For as he thinketh in his heart, so is he: Eat and drink, saith he to thee; but his heart is not with thee.” NO ONE can help someone who is constantly negative, angry at the world and possesses a critical spirit.

It is not a mere coincidence that the Word of God mentions thought control alongside prayer in our text passage. Here it is again:

You see, it is counterproductive to pray about things to avoid worrying about them, if you're just going to turn around and complain about everything with a critical spirit. Philippians 4:6 teaches us as believers not to worry (anxiety, to be careful); but rather, to in every thing by prayer and supplication let our requests be made known unto God. Verse 7 says that by taking matters to God in prayer, then we can claim the blessed peace of God which passeth all understanding. Prayer works because God is real and He cares (1st Peter 5:7). I am 100% against praying as a mere therapy, mental relaxation or form of contemplative meditation. That is new age and paganism. We should pray without ceasing because our risen Savior lives!

I wrote this blog to remind you dear reader to guard your thought life, it is priceless. My favorite Bible verse is Proverbs 4:23, “Keep thy heart with all diligence; for out of it are the issues of life.” Proverbs 16:32, “He that is slow to anger is better than the mighty; and he that ruleth his spirit than he that taketh a city.” Be careful about hanging around negative people, because attitudes are contagious. Is yours worth catching? Sadly, I loath when some people contact me, because I know it is all going to be negative.

To be honest, I quickly skim through such emails and don't allow them to waste my time. Proverbs 14:7, “Go from the presence of a foolish man, when thou perceivest not in him the lips of knowledge.” You just cannot help some people, until they first come to their senses and want to help themselves. The Bible tells us that the wayward Prodigal Son eventually hit rock bottom in life, and only then in the hog pen (literally) does the Bible says that “he came to himself,” and he said, “How many hired servants of my father's have bread enough and to spare, and I perish with hunger!” (Luke 15:17). Sin always takes you to the hog pen of life, straight to the bottom!

Negative thinking is like a cancer, which once it starts spreads slowly until it corrupts the entire body. Philippians 4:8 teaches for God's saints to THINK ON THESE THINGS! What things? Things that are of good report, lovely things, good things, pure things, truthful things, et cetera. You can call this brainwashing if you dare, but it is just good common sense. What a person fills their mind day-by-day with will affect their feelings, their day, their mental stability, their walk with God, everything.

That is why I am 100% against the Devil's public school system, which is nothing less than indoctrination centers for government propaganda. Those poor impressionable children's minds are subjected to all manner of Satanic evolution, worldly philosophies, secular entertainment and culture, humanism, communism, historical lies, sex perversion and new age religion. A nation can survive foreign attacks, but it cannot survive its fools within. As a people we are destroying ourselves! The American newsmedia is absolutely negative, which Pastor Jack Hyles (1926-2001) properly called: “Manure Spreaders!”

As I drive around the small city of Pensacola (population 52,000 people), I see negative attorney billboards everywhere. One billboard says: “Lawyer Up!” In other words, the lawyer wants you to pay him monthly before you need a lawyer, so it won't cost you as much if and when you do down the road (God forbid). I really detest lawyers! I saw another attorney billboard this week which read: “Call me when you meet an irresponsible driver.” Pensacola is full of a bunch of ambulance-chasing greedy lawyers! Evidently they are hard-up for business. Such “sue thy neighbour” type of ambush advertising undermines the health of the community.

Whether it be in your own personal mind, your local church, your home, or community, negative thinking is destructive. I decided many years ago that God is a very good God. So I don't ever need to make that decision again. Some people love God one day, but hate Him the next. We are so fickle as Americans, loving God when things are going well, but then we curse and blame God in anger when things don't go as planned. How ungrateful! I decided years ago to just believe the Holy Scriptures that say God is just (1st John 1:9), God is faithful (1st Corinthians 1:9), God is good (Psalms 145:9), God is love (1st John 4:8) and God cares about me (1st Peter 5:7). Everything that God does is right (Job 9:3).

So no matter how bad my life may go tomorrow, be poor on the street, and my health woeful fail—GOD IS ALWAYS GOOD! GOD IS ALWAYS FAITHFUL! GOD ALWAYS LOVES ME. GOD ALWAYS CARES ABOUT ME. GOD IS ALWAYS A BEAUTIFUL, FAIR, SCRUMDIDDLYUMPTIOUS, TERWONDERFUL AND A DARN GOOD GOD!!! Psalms 145:3, “Great is the LORD, and greatly to be praised; and his greatness is unsearchable.”

Guard your mind dear friend. Avoid negative influences around you. There is nothing worse than a critical person who thinks the world is against them. The proper mindset of a believer is one of “HAVE FAITH IN GOD” (Mark 11:22b). Jesus said that! Everywhere that our beloved Savior went, He told people to HAVE FAITH IN GOD!!! John 16:33, “These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world.” If you are older like me, age 55, then you remember “Glum” from the popular cartoon, The Adventures Of Gulliver...

A lot of believers won't talk that way in public around other people, but they think that way in their personal life in secret, and it cripples their life. Depression is ugly! I have battled personal depression for decades. I have constant chronic neck pain which stifles my ambition, overshadows my day, ruins many moments and makes it difficult to interact with people. Thankfully, Jesus uses my weakness to show forth His strength, by His grace. 2nd Corinthians 12:9, “And he said unto me, My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness. Most gladly therefore will I rather glory in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me.” As believers we don't grow in strength, we grow in God's grace (Galatians 2:20). GOD IS SO GOOD!!!

But despite my pain and oft depression, I haven't lost my faith in God. I haven't lost my joy in the Lord. I still rejoice daily that my name is written in Heaven in the Lamb's Book of Life. I wrote this blog to encourage others to LIVE ON THE SUNNY SIDE OF LIFE!!! That is Biblical by the way. Colossians 3:1-3, “If ye then be risen with Christ, seek those things which are above, where Christ sitteth on the right hand of God. Set your affection on things above, not on things on the earth. For ye are dead, and your life is hid with Christ in God.” Every redeemed child of God ought to live ABOVE THE CLOUDS, setting our mind and heart upon the things of Heaven, and not upon this earth. That is why when I go places (whether it be to the doctor, the grocery store, church or wherever) I have God's shine on my face. I am an adopted child of the great eternal King of kings and Lord of lords!!!

It Is Really Pathetic What Our Country Has Become

Matthew 7:11-12, “If ye then, being evil, know how to give good gifts unto your children, how much more shall your Father which is in heaven give good things to them that ask him? Therefore all things whatsoever ye would that men should do to you, do ye even so to them: for this is the law and the prophets.” 1st Timothy 6:10, “For the love of money is the root of all evil: which while some coveted after, they have erred from the faith, and pierced themselves through with many sorrows.”

Truly the love of money is the root of all evil. I am so sick and tired of our rotten, greedy, selfish and ungodly American culture. A perfect example is when you search the internet for trustworthy information, which you won't get! It doesn't matter if you use Google, Bing, Duck Duck Go, or whatever, the results you get back will be dishonest and intended to manipulate you as a consumer to get your money. It is wickedness!!!

For example: I went to search online today for the best affordable P-bass guitars. Hundreds of results came back, and each and every stinking one of those results contain a rotten message like this, a disclaimer which tells you that you are BEING MANIPULATED FOR GREED...

So they're going to refer you to a bunch of garbage and inferior merchandise. When I went to search a couple weeks ago for a “professional banjo” on Google, I got back hundreds of worthless results, all members of greedy affiliate programs to rip people off, and ALL the banjos they recommended for me to purchase were crappy junk made in China!!! Not one professional banjo was recommended, which will cost you at least $3,000 and up.

Stelling banjos are among the best, and most expensive. NOT ONE of those hundreds of affiliate programs recommended buying a Stelling banjo. You see, they are exploitative liars. They are dishonest people, manipulating the naïve public to make a buck. The Bible calls such money “filthy lucre” because you obtained it by shady means. Although it is honest to sell things, and to recommend what to purchase, it is very dishonest to suggest inferior toy banjos, tin-can sounded crap from China, because sellers know that is what 95% of the public buy, so they take advantage of consumer ignorance. I sincerely wanted to know about professional banjos, and am willing to pay a higher price for it, but all they can recommend to me is garbage, because they are wicked, greedy and couldn't care less about anybody except themselves. That is how low-down, dishonest and crooked Americans have become today.

 

I miss the 1970's, when there were no microwaves, no cellphones, no credit cards, no cameras all over public places, no internet tracking of everywhere you go, there was no public internet until the 1990's came! The 1970's was a simple time still in the United States. Where I lived in Chicago, people used string to section off their front garden. Move ahead 30 years later and everybody has tall chainlink fences around their lawns, with warning signs that threaten they'll call police.

Adults are no longer permitted to enter or sit in public playground without a child with them, and if you do people will wonder if you're a pedophile, call the police, and you will be arrested and fined. This is what our nation has succumbed and descended to. Homosexuals have come out of the closet and are quickly preparing the stage for the coming Man of Sin, the Antichrist.

The most unloving and uncaring people today in America are pastors of churches, go figure! I've never seen such calloused indifference, theological incompetence and ungodly hatred as I have from the Bob Jones University and Pensacola Christian College camp over the past several years. God's judgment is upon them!!! You show me a pastor who lacks unconditional love for everyone, and I'll show you a phony who does not genuinely walk with God. We've got too many lousy employees running churches today into the ground spiritually.

Oh, they may be growing in size, but they are as rotting corpses that are swelling, and not going in the grace of the Lord Jesus Christ. If anything, serving God faithfully (as I am doing by exposing the Calvinist infidels at Bob Jones University, and Pensacola Christian College for sinfully bidding them Godspeed), your church will decrease in popularity and size. So be it, praise the Lord! THE TRUTH must be preaching, without compromise and without apology, for the souls of mankind are at stake. Weep and how Jeff Redlin, Timothy Zacharias, Sean Quinlan, Marty Herron, Gary Walton, Chuck Phelps, Steve Pettit and John MacArthur, for the miseries that shall come upon your wicked souls for your wickedness, theological incompetence, woeful lack of God's love and for supporting evil!!! The eternal day of reckoning of these ungodly phonies is soon coming!!!

It is really pathetic what our country has become. Whether it is the millions of lying webpages on Google, all members of affiliate programs to make a buck off misleading you to buy inferior trash from China; or the hundreds of thousands of lying, incompetent and worthless pastors today, who won't preach THE TRUTH, won't preach against sin by name, won't expose false teachers by name, and woefully lack God's love for hurting sinners—our nation has sunk lower than low morally, ethically, economically, health-wise, spiritually, et cetera. I pray for God's withholding hand of judgment to come down in wrath upon this perverse, uncaring and unloving nation like a nuclear holocaust (read Revelation chapter 18, which I am convinced is the United States, which will be utterly destroyed by fire in just ONE HOUR! We deserve it, and Hell beneath too). Until that time comes, I am committed to preaching the Gospel to get people saved.

Liars are everywhere today! Jeff Redlin is a liar! Timothy Zacharias is a liar! Marty Herron is a liar! Steve Pettit is a liar! Sean Quinlan is a liar! Joe Hansen is a liar! Jared Baldwin is a liar! Gary Walton is a liar! John MacArthur is a liar! Paul Washer is a liar! Billy Graham is a liar! Pat Robertson is a liar! Joel Osteen is a liar! Joyce Meyer is a liar! Rick Warren is a liar! Chuck Phelps is a liar! Yet all these wicked men are haughty, full of arrogance and sinful pride, refusing to heed THE TRUTH. Romans 3:4 promises that I will be vindicated in eternity because what I am preaching agrees with the Holy Bible.

Lordship Salvation is of the Devil. Turning away from sins to be saved is of the Devil. All of these modern counterfeit Bible revisions and of the Devil. And those who reprobates who support the religious cults at Bob Jones University, Master's University, Moody Bible Institute and Faith Bible College and Theological Seminary are of the Devil as well. SHAME on all these untoward corrupted men for betraying the inspired Word of God and the Gospel. To attack the grace of God is to attack the God of grace!!!

We must be as Joshua in these dark times of spiritual apostasy in the churches today, who exclaimed in Joshua 24:15, “And if it seem evil unto you to serve the LORD, choose you this day whom ye will serve; whether the gods which your fathers served that were on the other side of the flood, or the gods of the Amorites, in whose land ye dwell: but as for me and my house, we will serve the LORD.”

Sinful Indifferent Attitude Of Pensacola Christian College

Titus 1:9-14, “Holding fast the faithful word as he hath been taught, that he may be able by sound doctrine both to exhort and to convince the gainsayers. For there are many unruly and vain talkers and deceivers, specially they of the circumcision: Whose mouths must be stopped, who subvert whole houses, teaching things which they ought not, for filthy lucre's sake. One of themselves, even a prophet of their own, said, The Cretians are alway liars, evil beasts, slow bellies. This witness is true. Wherefore rebuke them sharply, that they may be sound in the faith; Not giving heed to Jewish fables, and commandments of men, that turn from the truth.”

I love this vital passage of Scripture! It condemns all false teachers, who SUBVERT WHOLE HOUSES, teaching things (e.g., Lordship Salvation and the heresy “turn from your sin to be saved”) they ought not, for filthy lucre's sake (pursuing a career as a pastor, clergy or Bible professor). The inspired Holy Bible is very plain and clear that godly men are commanded to RUFUTE (expose) all counterfeit plans of salvation, which corrupt families. Dear reader, that means every God-fearing preacher today should be exposing the cult at Bob Jones University, who today preach hardcore Calvinism (aka, Lordship Salvation). Yet, I keep getting rebuked and mistreated by the Pensacola Christian College camp for obeying God. What gives? 

When I attended the Lighthouse Baptist Church on Guam for the year of 2018, Pastor Sean Quinlan shamefully berated me for my zeal to expose the rotten Bob Jones crowd. I was speaking with Bill, a man at the church, and my friend, about what is wrong with the modern Bible revisions. While I was edifying my brother in Christ, I mentioned that “Bob Jones University sells corruptible seed (Devil's bibles).” Pastor Quinlan was eavesdropping on our conversation and became upset when he heard that. I found out from talking to Quinlan that he bids Godspeed to the Calvinist Bob Jones camp!

I was disgusted with him as a church leader. Pastor Quinlan literally called the Harvest Baptist Church on Guam: “our sister church!” I rebuked him upon the authority of God's Word, informing him that Harvest Baptist Church preaches the Devil's false gospel of Calvinism! Quinlan shameful replied: “It's none of our business what they do at Harvest!” I fully knew then that I was talking to a total damned fool. Any pastor who sinfully bids Godspeed to Calvinists ought not be trusted to preach behind any pulpit.

You see friends, what has horribly happened is that making money is the most important thing today for professed Christians. Of course, no one who believes and teaches Calvinism is saved. Anyone who ADDS “turn away from your sins” to be saved is lost! That is telling them to KEEP THE LAW (the Old Testament law, which includes the Ten Commandments). What saith the Scripture? Romans 3:19-20, “Now we know that what things soever the law saith, it saith to them who are under the law: that every mouth may be stopped, and all the world may become guilty before God. Therefore by the deeds of the law there shall no flesh be justified in his sight: for by the law is the knowledge of sin.” Christ came into the world to die on the cross for our sins, not demand that we forsake committing sin as a prerequisite to receive His free gift of eternal life.

Bob Jones University and company are guilty of SUBVERTING WHOLE HOUSES of people. Yet, you'll have a difficult time finding any preachers today who spare not, and cry aloud, against the doctrinal sins of the Bob Jones camp. Isaiah 58:1, “Cry aloud, spare not, lift up thy voice like a trumpet, and shew my people their transgression, and the house of Jacob their sins.” That same preaching principle applies to ALL PREACHERS!!! If God wanted the preachers to cry aloud, spare not, and lift up their voice like a trumpet 2,700 years ago in Isiah's time, then God wants preachers to have that same fire and conviction in our preaching today.

So where are they? Huh? Where are the preachers today who cry aloud, spare not, and lift up their voice like a trumpet. The only one's I know and Pastor Steven Anderson and his band of fellow preachers around the country (Bruce Mejia, Roger Jimenez, Jonathan Shelley, Grayson Fritts, et cetera). The wimpy, unsaved and corrupt Pat Robertson, Joel Osteen, Marty Herron, Gary Walton, Steve Pettit, Chuck Phelps, Steven Furtick and Rick Warren type preachers are sending the world to Hell. Sadly, pastors are no longer preachers today! If your pastor does not cry aloud, spare not, and lift up his voice like a trumpet to expose sin, he is a cowardly wimp and not a godly preacher!!! The shamefully wimpy and sinfully compromised  Sean Quinlan and Jeff Redlin (Pensacola Christian College) types of our generation are not going to save this nation! Those bad pastors are the problem today with churches!!!

I couldn't believe the ungodly things that Pastor Sean Quinlan said to me in 2018. He defended Calvinists! Quinlan is so very WRONG to say that it is not our business what they do in the Bob Jones camp. Buster, IT IS OUR BUSINESS!!! How else could the Apostle Paul have known in Titus 1:13-14 that heresy was being propagated elsewhere, unless he made it his business to know what other ministers and churches were preaching? It is my business, a nd it's yours too.

Kindly said, every born-again child of God should be taking a Biblical stand against the Roman Catholic churches in your community! I'm not saying to bash Catholics, be unkind or burn down their cathedrals, God forbid. We should be nice, loving, helpful and gentle toward everyone, regardless of what they believe about religion. I would NEVER suggest or sanction committing a crime. But I am saying every preacher should be speaking publicly from his church pulpit against the Catholic religion, exposing their damnable Sacramental Salvation, which cannot produce the new birth in Christ Jesus. Jesus warned everyone in John 3:1-7 that in order to enter into Heaven, “YE MUST BE BORN AGAIN” (John 3:7b). The Devil's greatest weapon is to con people into living the Christian life without ever being born-again. Satan is a beautiful liar!

Pensacola Christian College (PCC) and their graduates have a pathetic indifferent attitude, which is contagious and deadly like the COVID-19 virus. PCC are so busy making money and going through all the motions of an academic institution, that they lost sight LONG AGO about what really matters! RIGHT DOCTRINE MATTERS!!!

When I first moved from Guam to Pensacola in July of 2021, I chose to attend Campus Church at Pensacola Christian College. I was quickly frustrated when I heard assistant pastor, Timothy Zacharias on July 21 preach wrong repentance. The preceding link takes you to a screenshot from their Founder's Class, which they showed the Wednesday night I was sitting in the Campus Church auditorium. I was disgusted as I listened to Pastor Zacharias pervert the Gospel of free grace, falsely teaching that your behavior will change if you've really repented. That has absolutely NOTHING to do with getting saved folks!

You and I are dirty guilty sinners, for whom Jesus Christ gave His life on the cross to pay our debt of sin. Your life doesn't have to change to prove anything! Behavior modification is not part of the Gospel. The problem is that most preachers mix up and confuse sanctification with justification. You've got to keep the two completely separate! I love what John Bunyan said:

“If you do not put a difference between justification wrought by the man Christ without and sanctification wrought by the Spirit of Christ within, you are not able to divide the Word aright; but contrariwise, you corrupt the Word of God, and cast stumbling blocks before the people.” —John Bunyan (1628-1688)

Wow, that is a helpful quote! He nailed it. What Jeff Redlin and Tim Zacharias are sinfully doing is mixing sanctification with justification, corrupting the Gospel. A change of behavior should NEVER be mentioned along with getting saved, because it comes later. To mention a change of behavior, or turning away from sins, or anything else that requires sacrifice on the part of the person getting saved, negates the legal transaction. Getting saved is a legal matter. You are a guilty sinner if you are not saved. Christ paid your debt of sin, but that payment must be appropriated or else you won't receive it, ever. You appropriate it by faith in the Good News (Gospel) of Christ crucified, buried and risen the third day (1st Corinthians 15:1-4).

When I attended Campus Church, Pastor Jeff Redlin horribly mistreated me. At first he seemed okay and I felt like maybe he cared, but it wasn't even two weeks and someone contacted the church to slander me. Sadly, Pastor Redlin didn't tell them to shut up, he acted on the slander and said some unkind words to me, to his utter shame. SHAME on Jeff Redlin for listening to Gospel, for jumping to conclusions, for not talking to me first if he had something to say about it. That is a little man and a very bad pastor!

Even worse, Redlin berated me for being divorced and hoping after 15 years of loneliness to someday remarry. My former and only wife abandoned me in 2006. The divorce was her choice alone. I cried and begged for her not to go, but she refused, which I have in writing in the divorce documents. Yet, according to the ungodly PCC camp, you're just supposed to masturbate for the rest of your life, because “Christ is all you need.” Even God Himself says that it is not good for a man to be alone. Genesis 2:18, “And the LORD God said, It is not good that the man should be alone; I will make him an help meet for him.” These foolish people at Pensacola Christian College are out of touch with reality. What total jerks!!!

The sad truth is that they invite and thrive on happily married couple in the PCC camp (and that includes formerly divorced couples who are now already remarried), but if you are divorced and still single like me they will condemn, shun, reject and ostracize you like you are garbage for even mentioning remarriage. That is exactly what Jeff Redlin shamefully did to me, and it is EMOTIONAL ABUSE!

Something is very WRONG with that kind of ungodly hypocrisy!!! SHAME on the Pensacola Christian College crowd for berating divorced people, and for sinfully bidding Godspeed to the accursed Bob Jones University crowd (who preach another gospel from another book, all the while attacking the Gospel of free grace and the inspired King James Bible).

Men's Prayer Groups Bother Me

Luke 8:15, “But that on the good ground are they, which in an honest and good heart, having heard the word, keep it, and bring forth fruit with patience.” John 15:8, “Herein is my Father glorified, that ye bear much fruit; so shall ye be my disciples.”

The biggest Baptist church that I am aware of in Pensacola, which I won't mention to be nice, advertises their weekly Men's Prayer Group of Thursdays. What bothers me a lot is that the church has no scheduled time to go soulwinning in public.

Folks, the world is going to Hell! A group of believers can gather together to pray until their faces turn blue, but that's not going to win anyone to Jesus Christ! We've got to go soulwinning! That is how churches are built. I am not aware of any soulwinning churches in Pensacola. Campus Church at Pensacola Christian College (PCC) sends out some college men to pass out church flyers to invite people to church, but that's not soulwinning. And they do it as a small kind of private thing, not something that is strongly promoted in the church. It is sad! I think they just do it to make themselves feel better and to boast that they share the Gospel, but the sad truth is that PCC refuses to even use the term SOULWINNING (because it would identify them with the Hyles-Anderson College camp, which they despise so much).

I have no regard or use for Men's Prayer Groups, unless it is followed by door-to-door public soulwinning! The saints did meet in the upper room to pray (Acts chapter 2), but it was in preparation for preaching the Gospel to tens of thousands of people from many different nations on the glorious Day of Pentecost. Dear friend, I once heard a knucklehead preacher on Chicago's northside say: “Prayer is not preparation for the greater work, prayer is the greater work!” Well, that pastor is a fool, because whether you like it or not, SOULWINNING IS THE GREATER WORK!!!

We are not going to pray the lost world out of Hell, fire and damnation. We must preach the GOOD NEWS (the GOSPEL) of Christ crucified, buried and risen the third day (1st Corinthians 15:1-4). I am all for group prayer, but only if it precedes going soulwinning, or there is a definite related purpose for gathering to pray.

For example: In Acts 12:1-5 the early church prayer together for the Apostle Peter. James, the Apostle, had just been beheaded by wicked Herod. When Herod saw that those wicked Jews delighted in James' death, he fully intended to execute Peter next, and would have if God had not intervened on his behalf. But God did not deliver Peter from prison so he could go back to fishing. God rescued Peter so he could get back to PREACHING THE GOSPEL.

Over 99% of evangelical churches today do not go soulwinning publicly. Nearly all churches today are evangelistic churches, meaning that they expect church members to invite people to church to hear the Gospel. That is fine to do, but that is not the Bible way. What saith the Scripture? Luke 14:23, “And the lord said unto the servant, Go out into the highways and hedges, and compel them to come in, that my house may be filled.” Some critic of soulwinning said that, “God is not interested in numbers!” Well friend, He sure ain't interested in empty pews either! What do you mean God is not interested in numbers? Why sure He is, that is why the Lord said He wants His house full.

You are only as close to God as you desire and make an effort to share the Gospel to get people saved. I didn't say that, God did. Read from our text passages again. Luke 8:15, “But that on the good ground are they, which in an honest and good heart, having heard the word, keep it, and bring forth fruit with patience.” John 15:8, “Herein is my Father glorified, that ye bear much fruit; so shall ye be my disciples.” The parable of The Sower And The Seeds in Luke 8:11-15 is NOT about getting saved, it is about maturing in the Lord so that you perpetuate the Gospel, winning more souls to Christ. After all, that is The Great Commission (Matthew 28:19-20). Every born-again Christian is commanded in the Word of God to fulfill The Great Commission. What is this Great Commission:

1. GO YE into all the world preaching the Gospel, to get people saved.
2. BAPTIZE THEM (converts) with full immersion under water, which is their public profession of faith, symbolizing the Gospel. Baptism is an outward snapshot of what has happened inwardly.
3. TEACH THEM all things. Literally, we should indoctrinated new converts with the inspired Word of God, teaching them right away to go out and share the Gospel to lead people to Christ. God intended that the Gospel perpetuate itself from generation to generation.

Here is The Great Commission in the Bible:

Matthew 28:18-20, “And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying, All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth. Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world. Amen.”

Amen and amen. I loathe men's and women's prayer groups, when that church has no commitment to obey The Great Commission. For most church it is The Great Omission!!! Jesus didn't give us The Great Commission to gather together for Bible study and prayer at a church, while the surrounding community goes to Hell.

When I attended the shameful Harvest Baptist Church on Guam for one year, the men of the church gathered together each Saturday morning for breakfast and prayer. But the church had NO SCHEDULED TIME TO GO SOULWINNING. Harvest was and still is not, a soulwinning church on Guam, I call them “salary-suckers,” because that is all they do. It is disgusting!!! Pastors' Marty Herron and Gary Walton are nothing more than lousy religious employees, shameful opportunists, hiring and firing people to get their filthy lucre. I not only wouldn't give you a dime for those wicked men, I'd put them into prison for life if I had the power, because of the horrible things they do to people in the name of God.

Both of those ungodly men fully support the hellish Bob Jones University (BJU) cult today, who preach the Devil's lies of Lordship Salvation (Calvinism) and wrong repentance (aka, the “turn from your sins to be saved” tommyrot). BJU is the fountainhead of the Satanic corrupt Westcott and Hort Greek perverted text! Yet, Marty Herron and Gary Walton sinfully bid BJU Godspeed, making themselves accomplices and partakers of their evil deeds (2nd John 1:11). If you think I am making too bog a deal of this, just wait until God casts them into the fires of Hell for all eternity for trusting in a counterfeit Gospel. Telling someone to “repent of your sin” to be saved, is essentially the same as telling them to keep God's Old Testament law to get to Heaven. That is works (Romans 3:19-20). 

By the way, the corrupt Baptist church that I mentioned at the beginning of this blog is guilty of preaching hardcore Lordship Salvation. So they are not even born-again Christians! No wonder they don't go soulwinning, they don't even understand how to be saved! I am leery of public prayer meetings, they are a waste of time for any church that does not obey The Great Commission. Most churchgoers nowadays are guilty of Sitting On The Premises instead of Standing On The Promises! How about you my dear friend?

Please don't misunderstand, I believe in the power of prayer, but it is the same as training a soldier to use a gun. What good is that gun and training if there are never any wars to defend one's country? What would be the purpose? Likewise, we've got a bunch of idle fools today meeting at church to pray about every little petty thing, but getting people saved isn't one of their priorities, and it should be the main focus.

We Make Friends Or Enemies One Person At A Time

Proverbs 18:19, “A brother offended is harder to be won than a strong city: and their contentions are like the bars of a castle.” Proverbs 18:24, “A man that hath friends must shew himself friendly: and there is a friend that sticketh closer than a brother.”

It takes years to build friendships and seconds to lose them forever if we're careless. An important lesson that I learned a very long time ago is that we make or break relationships one person at a time. It matters how we treat others. A business does not get bad reviews overnight; but rather, it takes years of mistreating customers to earn a bad reputation.

Any of my web visitors who knows me well, from corresponding with me over the years, honestly knows that I always take the time to write quality emails back to people. I do this because everybody is important! No one is unimportant. Everybody matters to God; and that includes atheists, convicted criminals, homosexuals, pastors and all manner of sinners! We should never accept the sin with the sinner, nor reject the sinner with the sin. People matter!!!

When I write scathing articles to expose bad pastors, I can only speak of my unfortunate negative encounter with them. They made a very bad impression on me. When I first met Pastor Jeff Redlin at Campus Church of Pensacola Christian College, I told him honestly that I was sleeping in Walmart's parking lot. When I arrived from Guam in Pensacola, the ungodly Woodspring Suites Hotel cancelled my 30-day confirmed reservation without warning. God will punish them, because the Bible says they did it to Jesus (Matthew 25:40, 45). Sadly, when I told this to Jeff Redlin, that I was sleeping in Walmart's parking lot, he literally just walked away. I saw the startled look on his face when he heard what I had said. Pastor Redlin didn't care!!! So while he slept in his cozy warm bed, I slept in Walmart's parking lot! Real great Christian that Jeff Redlin, huh? No, he is a horrible phony as a pastor. Redlin only cares about his 6-digit undeserved outrageous salary!

You see folks, someone is always watching us! Someone is always listening to our words. Someone is always watching how we treat others. Jesus knew this and behaved himself accordingly. Oh, that we would do the same! I am not perfect, but for all those who have written to me since 2002 when I began my website ministry, Jesus-is-Savior.com, I have gone out of my way to help others, writing book-length emails, pouring out my heart oftentimes to be a blessing and help someone who was down, confused or was hurt at church by a phony hypocrite like Pastor Jeff Redlin. By God's grace I have fought the good fight!

I have received countless emails from hurt and frustrated people, who said that they contacted local pastors, but no one ever bothered to email back. I have patiently listened to many people, who told me about the mistreatment and abusive words spoken to them by a church pastor. Dear reader, something is very wrong with that.

Kindly said, Pastor Jeff Redlin at Campus Church is not kind, he is mean, cold-hearted and a religious prude. I pray that Pensacola Christian College would make motion to have him fired and replaced with someone with a heart for hurting people. David Gibbs Jr. is so right, you are only as good a Christian as how you treat other people, including the worst among us!

When I came to Campus Church for the first time in July of 2021, God knows that I had only love, compassion and a desire to be a blessing to the church and college. And I wrote that all down and sent it to Pastor Redlin. I kindly mentioned that I am a thankful Hyles-Anderson College graduate and just wanted to love everyone and be a blessing at Campus Church. That jerk didn't even bother to acknowledge me! Literally, he completely ignored me for 10 days. I didn't want to assume anything, so I kindly approached him after the Sunday morning service, only to ask why he hadn't replied. Redlin had a guilty look all over the his when he saw me, knowing that he had been avoiding me. He backed away like a coward and put his hands in the air, signifying that he didn't have an answer why he hadn't replied. I was hurt.

Right in front of his wife, he then said that if I ever find a woman to marry, he wouldn't perform the wedding. I just looked at him like he was insane, because Sunday morning after church is not the time or place for being a jerk! I had emailed him 2 weeks earlier, confiding in him that my wife divorced me 15 years ago, and I was a lonely man desiring a wife. I told him that I hoped to meet a woman at Campus Church. Do you know what that creep did? He scolded me for coming to church to find a wife! Folks, any pastor is a fool to talk to a 54 year old divorced man like that! I'm not one of his students at PCC. What is wrong with Jeff Redlin?

It's bad enough that he left me to sleep in Walmart's parking lot the first day I met him (at the Campus Church 4th of July Picnic in 2021). But then he takes the trust that I gave him, confiding in him with information about my broken personal life, and he berates me, kicking me in the head emotionally for desiring to find a wife, making me feel like a piece of garbage for being divorced. I am not upset with Mr. Redlin for his religious beliefs, but for the abusive way that he poorly handled the entire interaction with me from start to finish! That horrible man has zero people skills, a bad attitude, no walk with God, and shouldn't be a pastor. Jeff Redlin should be managing a McDonald's somewhere, and I'm not kidding folks!

If you talk with Pastor Redlin, he will likely make a bunch of lame excuses about how he has a big church to run, or someone died in the school, or other illegitimate excuses for his abusive behavior, incompetence as a pastor, lack of care and woeful lack of godly compassion for hurting people. I came to Jeff Redlin in kindness with love, only expecting the same in return from the pastor of Campus Church, but instead I receive false accusations, hypocrisy, condemnation, mistreatment, arrogancy and abuse.

Pastor Redlin claimed that someone slandered me to him, sending him my ministry websites and other information. He ASS-U-Me that the slander was true, condemning me for it in his letter's language and tone. Redlin bared false witness against me, falsely accusing me of “finding weaknesses” in preachers. In truth, my ministry exposes wickedness in preachers!!! I expose the damnable heresies of Lordship Salvation, Devil's bibles and wrong repentance (which are all sinfully embraced by the demonic Bob Jones University camp today). Tragically, the Pensacola Christian College camp and Campus Church sinfully bid Godspeed to Bob Jones University and company, making them partakers of their evil deeds (2nd John 1:11).

RIGHT DOCTRINE MATTERS! The way we treat people matters. ALL LIVES MATTER!!! By God's grace I will continue to take the time to reply to emails, showing people that I care. I DO CARE!!! It takes a lot of time, effort and patience to reply to emails (for me especially because of my chronic bodily pain, tension and burning from my neck injury many years ago).People look up to pastors. I actually looked up to Pastor Redlin when I first came to Campus Church, even after he dissed me and didn't care that I was sleeping in Walmart's parking lot. I so much wanted to be friends with him, but that man is a first-class bully, who doesn't want to be friends with a truth-teller like me. He'd rather be buddies with apostates and damnable heretics in the Bob Jones crowd! SHAME on Pastor Jeff Redlin. SHAME on PCC for hiring him and putting up with his abuse of people. Your former pastor was much better from all that I've heard.

Again dear reader, we make friends or enemies one person at a time. Jeff Redlin made me his enemy, by his own abusive words, mistreatment and haughty arrogant spirit toward me as a hurting divorced me who just needed some love. God is my witness, that I had to ask Pastor Redlin umpteen times in July of 2021 if I was “loved and welcomed as a divorced man at Campus Church,” before he would give me an answer. That is pathetic!!! And when he did finally climb down off his haughty throne to reply to a nobody like me, 10 days later, he berated me and threw the slander in my face that he read on the internet. That is an ungodly man, a wicked incompetent pastor, and no friend of the Lord Jesus Christ.

We make friends or enemies one person at a time. The big size of Redlin's church is not the problem, it is the small size of his heart! A student dying in June of 2021 at PCC is not the problem, it is that Jeff Redlin doesn't care. He could have just as easily replied to me with kind words rather than inflammatory words. THE TRUTH is that Mr. Redlin is the problem!!! Something is very wrong with his heart. Listen, you can tell what kind of character that a man has by the way he treats animals, poor people, divorced people, nobodies and those who can do nothing for him. Think about that. I am an underdog. I am a nobody. I'm just a broken and redeemed sinner saved by God's grace.

Pastor Jeff Redlin, in sharp contrast, is a richy-rich snob, a haughty and high-minded socialite, a prude, a religious hypocrite and someone who know nothing about the love of God. Jesus said to whom much is forgiven, the same loveth much. Luke 7:47, “Wherefore I say unto thee, Her sins, which are many, are forgiven; for she loved much: but to whom little is forgiven, the same loveth little.” I have been forgiven of much, so I love much.

God deliver us from religious snobs like Jeff Redlin, who sinfully look down their Pharisaical noses upon nobody sinners like me. Jeff Redlin needs to be humbled, and only God can do that. SHAME on Pensacola Christian College for shunning single divorced people who desire to remarry. PCC are out of touch with the Bible and reality. I don't blame Samantha Field for being angry at PCC. Samantha was treated like garbage, just like Redlin mistreated me. It matters how we treat people!

It matters, because we make friends or enemies one person at a time. This is THE GOLDEN RULE. Matthew 7:12, “Therefore all things whatsoever ye would that men should do to you, do ye even so to them: for this is the law and the prophets.” I treated Jeff Redlin kindly with respect and love, the way I want to be treated; but he abused me, disrespecting my person and my 20-year ministry which I've worked so hard on since 2002. Pastor Redlin is a fool to criticize my ministry for Christ, not having even a single word of praise for my labors. That shows his sinful bias and hypocrisy toward a fellow brother in Christ. Jeff has no right to cast me aside. Romans 14:10, “But why dost thou judge thy brother? or why dost thou set at nought thy brother? for we shall all stand before the judgment seat of Christ.”
