I love learning about astronomy. I have been watching hundreds of YouTube videos about astronomy. Sadly, unless you specifically include “God” in your search, you won't find Him in the videos. The vast majority of popular scientists are agnostics and atheists, who attribute the creation of the universe and all therein to natural occurrences and evolution.

Case in point, according to Geology Science the ocean formed from cooling lava...

The exact timing of the formation of the oceans is still debated among geologists, but most scientists believe that they formed around 4 billion years ago, shortly after the formation of the Earth. The most widely accepted theory for the formation of the oceans is that they were created by volcanic activity that released water vapor into the atmosphere, which then condensed and formed the oceans.

That is so foolish to teach. Anyone with a working brain knows that cooling lava could never produce the massive oceans of the earth, with a shocking depth of 36,037 feet (that's deeper than Mount Everest's height). There is simply no way that cooling lava could produce enough water to form the gargantuan oceans. That is common sense dear reader. When someone rejects the reality of God, insanity ensues!

According to some insane writers at Wikipedia, the oceans were formed by meteorites...

The water must have been supplied by meteorites from the outer asteroid belt and some large planetary embryos from beyond 2.5 AU. Comets may also have contributed.

And then there's the 'Science News Today' website, whose writer Muhammad Tuhin says:

Those are very wicked words, because the inspired Holy Bible already teaches us that God made the earth and the oceans, not nature. Revelation 14:7, “Saying with a loud voice, Fear God, and give glory to him; for the hour of his judgment is come: and worship him that made heaven, and earth, and the sea, and the fountains of waters.” Anyone who attributes the origin of mankind and the universe to natural occurrences is the enemy of God.

I'd say that you couldn't make this stuff up, but that's exactly what wicked sinners have done, ridding their thinking of God. What saith the inspired Scripture? ...

Romans 1:28, “And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a reprobate mind, to do those things which are not convenient; Being filled with all unrighteousness, fornication, wickedness, covetousness, maliciousness; full of envy, murder, debate, deceit, malignity; whisperers, Backbiters, haters of God, despiteful, proud, boasters, inventors of evil things, disobedient to parents, Without understanding, covenantbreakers, without natural affection, implacable, unmerciful: Who knowing the judgment of God, that they which commit such things are worthy of death, not only do the same, but have pleasure in them that do them.”

The Holy Bible just described perverse America today! When God is removed from the equation, disaster results every time. I assure you that crime will become much worse! Science without God is utter foolishness.

Dear reader, many chemical reactions have produced deadly explosions, but NO ONE has ever created life with chemicals. You'd have to be a very stupid person to accept any of these bizarre claims as being legitimate science. 1st Timothy 6:20-21, “O Timothy, keep that which is committed to thy trust, avoiding profane and vain babblings, and oppositions of science falsely so called: Which some professing have erred concerning the faith. God Alone Is The Creator Of The Universe

Dear friend, I could go on and on for days, literally, showing you the millions of webpages, books and videos documentaries which attribute the creation of the universe, stars, earth, oceans and all life to mere natural occurrences, without a single mention of God. It is wickedness not to glorify our Creator!

Daniel 5:23b, “...and the God in whose hand thy breath is, and whose are all thy ways, hast thou not glorified.”

The inspired Word of God repeatedly declares that the living God created heaven, earth, the seas and all therein. ...

Acts 14:13-16, “Then the priest of Jupiter, which was before their city, brought oxen and garlands unto the gates, and would have done sacrifice with the people. Which when the apostles, Barnabas and Paul, heard of, they rent their clothes, and ran in among the people, crying out, And saying, Sirs, why do ye these things? We also are men of like passions with you, and preach unto you that ye should turn from these vanities unto the living God, which made heaven, and earth, and the sea, and all things that are therein: Who in times past suffered all nations to walk in their own ways.”

The prophet Jonah declared in the 8th century BC...

Jonah 1:7-9, “And they said every one to his fellow, Come, and let us cast lots, that we may know for whose cause this evil is upon us. So they cast lots, and the lot fell upon Jonah. Then said they unto him, Tell us, we pray thee, for whose cause this evil is upon us; What is thine occupation?  and whence comest thou?  what is thy country? and of what people art thou? And he said unto them, I am an Hebrew; and I fear the LORD, the God of heaven, which hath made the sea and the dry land.”

What an insult and wicked thing for today's scientists to completely ignore God. They are afraid of being ridiculed, mocked and scorned in laughter by heathen peers, if they dare to attribute the creation of the universe to God. Ge:1:16, “And God made two great lights; the greater light to rule the day, and the lesser light to rule the night: he made the stars also.” I love that add-on at the end of the sentence that “he made the stars also.” Wow! Astronomers tell us that so far they've discovered approximately two hundred sextillion stars. That's 200,000,000,000,000,000,000,000 stars!

The vast majority of astronomers are arrogant fools. Case in point is Brian Jackson at Astronomy.com who arrogantly makes this stupid statement...

“Yet astronomers like me have figured out how to estimate the total number of stars in the universe, which is everything that exists.”

What an arrogant and untrue thing to say, claiming to know how many stars are in the universe! What he should have said was “the known universe,” not the “universe.” NO ONE except God who created the universe knows how many stars exist. God knows exactly how many stars He made and He has a name for every one of them. Psalms 147:4, “He telleth the number of the stars; he calleth them all by their names.” Humanity cannot see beyond 46,500,000,000 lightyears into the universe (a total of 93,000,000,000 lightyears wide). Man simply does not know what lies beyond the reaches of the known universe. Psalms 145:3, “Great is the LORD, and greatly to be praised; and his greatness is unsearchable.”

The inspired Word of God teaches that the omnipotent LORD made the oceans. John 1:3 teaches that the Lord Jesus Christ is the Creator of all things. John 1:1-5, “In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. The same was in the beginning with God. All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made. In him was life; and the life was the light of men. And the light shineth in darkness; and the darkness comprehended it not.”

Humanity will NEVER be able to determine how big the universe is, nor when it began. Brilliant astronomer Edwin Hubble discovered that the universe is expanding in 1929. His observations showed that galaxies are moving away from us, with their speed is increasing the farther they are from Earth. Based on this scientific fact alone, scientists developed the “Big Bang” theory of creation, estimated to have happened 13,800,000,000 years ago. Scientists arrived at this calculation based upon the rate of expansion of the known universe.

As a born again Christian for 46 years since age 12 in 1979, I am strongly convinced that the earth is billions of years old, as legitimate science evidences. I reject the quackery of “Young Earth Creation” (YEC) science, so-called. I mean, to accept YEC you would have to believe that dinosaurs roamed the earth 5,000 years ago. If dinosaurs were alive 5,000 years ago, then where did they go? Some fools claim that Noah left the dinosaurs behind. I reject that nonsense.

Someone handed me a book years ago, trying to convince me of a Young Earth theory. The book is titled: “THE CREATION ANSWERS BOOK” co-authored by Don Batten, David Catchpoole, Jonathan Sarfati, Carl Wieland and various other contributing writers. I learned a long time ago that someone's most ridiculous argument is the most damning information against them, which can be used to discredit the rest of their work or beliefs. The most ridiculous information (argument) put forth in the book “THE CREATION ANSWERS BOOK” is concerning dinosaurs and man co-existing. The four authors teach that Noah took baby dinosaurs onto the ark, which is the same garbage that Ken Ham teaches.

On pages 247-248 of the “THE CREATION ANSWERS BOOK” we read:

“Given the different dinosaur species that have been identified, and the huge size of some of them [e.g., Seismosaurus, on the basis of fossil reconstructions attained lengths of 45 meters (150 feet)], some people might wonder how Noah could have taken all the dinosaur kinds onto the Ark. However, when one considers the following, there is no problem.
1. Only around 55 dinosaur 'kinds'

In Chapter 13, we discussed how Noah did not need to take all species (a notoriously flexible concept) on board the Ark, but only pairs of each created kind. The same principle applies to dinosaurs. So Noah's Ark did not have to carry the 668 or so named species of dinosaurs, rather, just the representative 'kinds' (Genesis 6:20)—of which it has been estimated there were only 55.”

At the bottom of page 248, the book has a footnote that claims there are many duplicate names for dinosaurs, and that the actual number of species is “greatly inflated.” This claim may actually have some merit, as National Geographic reports. However, as the National Geographic article says, there is not enough fossil evidence to prove the claim one way or the other. Wikipedia says there is a list of 1,466 dinosaur species, of which 1,080 are considered valid. This is certainly much higher than the alleged 55 species that “THE CREATION ANSWERS BOOK” claims. The question is, “Could all those dinosaurs fit on the Ark?” I think not! The very idea is absurd!

Dear reader, it should be obvious to you that the earth is very old, likely 4.5 billion years old as scientists (geologists) claim. It should also be obvious to you that the theory of a Young Earth is false science. There is simply no way that dinosaurs lived with man 5,000 years ago! Dinosaurs lived 65 to 220 million years ago as science confirms. To clarify, I do believe that God remodeled creation during the six literal days of Genesis chapters 1 and 2. The human race is approximately 6,000 years old, but the earth itself is billions of years old. Psalms 102:25, “Of old hast thou laid the foundation of the earth: and the heavens are the work of thy hands.” Why would the psalmist write these words, if the earth was the same age as everything else? The psalmist specifically mentions “the foundation of the earth.”

Be Sure To Glorify Your Creator

It is wickedness not to glorify our Creator, Jesus!

Daniel 5:23, “But hast lifted up thyself against the LORD of heaven; and they have brought the vessels of his house before thee, and thou, and thy lords, thy wives, and thy concubines, have drunk wine in them; and thou hast praised the gods of silver, and gold, of brass, iron, wood, and stone, which see not, nor hear, nor know: and the God in whose hand thy breath is, and whose are all thy ways, hast thou not glorified.”

The inspired Holy Bible is abundantly clear in John 1:13 and Colossians 1:16 that Jesus is God who created all things. Beware of Satan's corrupt modern Bible revisions which tamper with those important Scripture passages, changing “by” to “through” concerning Jesus. God the Father didn't create all things “through” His Son; all things were created “by” Jesus!

It saddens and angers me that thousands of astronomy videos on YouTube fail to give God the credit, glory and praise for creating the universe and all therein. Life didn't just happen! I heard Mike Rowe in 'How The Universe Works' (2010) sinfully attribute creation to “cosmic chaos and accidental aftermath.” What wickedness! What blasphemy against God. What saith the Scripture? 2nd Peter 3:5, “For this they willingly are ignorant of, that by the word of God the heavens were of old, and the earth standing out of the water and in the water.” Don't anyone dare blaspheme God almighty by saying that chaos accidentally made the universe!

THE TRUTH is that ungodly sinners despise God and reject Him in their thinking. Romans 1:28a, “And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a reprobate mind...” The creators of these videos don't want to be labeled as religious kooks, so they leave our God. Instead of telling THE TRUTH, they go along with the lie of evolution to play it safe, knowing that the ungodly world won't accept any documentary that glorifies and attributes creation to a supreme Creator. This is why 100% of the secular astronomy videos on YouTube don't honor God as our Creator. Unless you include the word “God” in your internet search, you won't find Him in any astronomy documentary today.

What happened? How did our American society become so ungodly? At what point did society just decide that God is not our Creator, and that the universe merely evolved from start dust? I have watched hundreds of videos on YouTube about astronomy, and they are fascinating to say the least. But sadly those disturbing videos ignore God, our divine Creator. I am tired of hearing that man evolved over billions of years. If the Holy Bible be true (and I believe it is), then no human being existed before 6,000 years ago!

History evidences this truth. It is commonly believed that Egyptian civilization started around 3150 BC. The earliest civilization discovered is generally considered to be the Sumerian civilization, which allegedly emerged in Mesopotamia around 4000 BC. The flood destroyed most evidence of the earliest civilizations. The inspired Word of God tells us that during the flood the waters rose 15 cubits (22.5 feet) about the highest mountain. That means the water pressure exerted upon the earth and its contents would have been somewhere around 15,000 psi (pounds per square inch). Nothing except the hardest materials could have survived such pressures. If you believe that the Holy Bible is God's Word, then you cannot ignore this truth.

My main point here is that all available historical evidence does not support the bogus claim of scientists today, who erroneously claim mankind goes back hundreds of thousands, even millions or billions of years. To clarify, I am against a Young Earth Creation theory. I believe that the earth itself is billions of years old, as true science teaches. But the human race is no more than approximately 6,000 years old, which every field of science and history confirms.

NASA ceases to amaze me! Their thousands of engineers and scientists were able to design, plan and launch a robot that traveled 140 million miles Mars to collect soil samples, then blast off and return to earth with the soil. NASA had to launch at just the right time, to intercept the planet Mars while closest to earth in its annual orbit. The feat itself was astounding! Yet, with all their admirable genius, these exceptionally smart people are some of the dumbest folks who ever lived, when you learn what NASA actually believes about the origins of the earth and moon.

Kindly, the inspired Holy Bible 100% disagrees with NASA's scientists. NASA has an entire division devoted entirely to researching how the moon was created, called the “LUNAR SCIENCE INSTITUTE.” According to NASA's best and brightest, the earth and moon formed by the massive collision of two planetary bodies. The old theory was that a rogue object struck the earth and a section of the earth broke off, settled into orbit and became our perfectly round moon over billions of years. LOONEY? I'd say so...

NASA Lunar Scientists Develop New Theory on Earth and Moon Formation

New research funded by NLSI theorizes that our early Earth and moon were perhaps created in a different manner than has previously been believed.

NASA New research, funded by the NASA Lunar Science Institute (NLSI), hypothesizes that our early Earth and moon were both created together in a giant collision of two planetary bodies that were each five times the size of Mars.

This new hypothesis about how Earth’s moon formed is challenging the commonly believed “giant impact hypothesis,” which suggests that Earth's moon formed from a colossal impact of a hypothetical planetary embryo, named Theia, with Earth, early in our Solar System's history.

“Our understanding of the solar system is constantly being refined with each new discovery. This research illustrates the importance of modeling planetary formation to enhance our scientific understanding of the moon and its place in the solar system,” said NLSI Deputy Director Greg Schmidt.

The giant impact hypothesis has been a widely accepted theory for how the Earth-moon system formed. In the giant impact scenario, the moon forms from debris ejected into an Earth-orbiting disk by the collision of a smaller proto-planet with the early Earth. One of the challenges to the longstanding theory of the collision, is that a Mars-sized impacting body, whose composition likely would have differed substantially from that of Earth, likely would have left Earth and the moon with different chemical compositions, which they are not.

Walt Disney's new H2 (History + High Definition) television channel has been airing NASA's new and bizarre science-fiction theories.

In sharp contrast, the Bible teaches that the moon and stars are the work of God. Psalm 8:3, “When I consider thy heavens, the work of thy fingers, the moon and the stars, which thou hast ordained.” Jesus Christ is the divine Creator of the universe and everything therein...

John 1:1-3,14, “In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. The same was in the beginning with God. All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made. ... And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth.”

Jesus Christ is the living Word of God who became incarnate (in the flesh). Revelation 19:13 says that Jesus' name is called 'THE WORD OF GOD.' Amen and amen! It is no coincidence that unbelief and wickedness are synonymous. I am so glad that the Creator of the universe is a righteous, merciful, faithful and forgiving God. GOD IS HOLY!!!

NASA is insane, teaching that the earth and moon formed by a massive collision of two planetary bodies billions of years ago. That's ludicrous! The Bible teaches that God made the sun, stars, moon and earth. All we hear about from Walt Disney, NASA, YouTube and National Geographic concerning the origin of the universe is explosions, accidents, catastrophes and collisions. How can such perpetual destruction lead to the astounding symmetry, inherent design, order and incredible awe of the universe? It cannot? The only plausible answer is God!!!

I learned recently that the Alaskan wood frog freezes solid every winter and then thaws back to life in the spring. The frog literally stops moving, the blood freezes, without any movement for several months each winter season. Only a brilliant and wise Creator could create such a miracle of life and beauty. God made these amazing things to impress you and me, in hope that we would thank, glorify and praise His holy name. God is truly more than amazing!

I weep sometimes as I learn about our incredible universe, realizing that God loves even a wretched sinner like me. I cannot wrap my feeble brain around it all. God's greatness is beyond my grasp (Psalms 145:3), but I love and trust in His only begotten Son, Jesus, who is the promised Christ. John 1:29, “The next day John seeth Jesus coming unto him, and saith, Behold the Lamb of God, which taketh away the sin of the world.” Amen and amen!

I encourage you dear reader to give God the due praise that He alone is worthy of. Isaiah 42:8, “I am the LORD: that is my name: and my glory will I not give to another, neither my praise to graven images.” NASA are guilty of idolatry, lifting pseudo-science above God. I have no idea if God started the universe with a theorized 'Big Bang,' but I refuse to accept conjecture as fact without any solid proof, which scientists have none today. They have confirmed since 1929 that the universe is expanding outward, away from the earth.

The universe is expanding at a rate of approximately 46 miles per second per megaparsec, which translates to about 164,000 miles per hour for every megaparsec (3.26 million light-years) of distance from Earth. Wow, that's fast! This rate is known as the 'Hubble Constant.'

Discovered by American astronomer Charles Stephenson in 1990, Stephenson 2-18 is a red supergiant located 18,900 light years from Earth. Stephenson 2-18 (also known as Stephenson 2 DFK 1) is currently considered the largest star known to mankind, with estimates suggesting it has a radius of about 2,150 times that of our own solar system's Sun. The sun has a diameter 109 times greater than the earth, which means Stephenson 2-18 has a diameter approximately 234,350 times greater than the earth. That's 930,000,000 miles wide! That's almost one billion miles in diameter. The earth is only 7,926 miles in diameter (from pole to pole). Good night in the morning! I cannot even comprehend its gargantuan astronomical size.

And Stephenson 2-18 shines about 440,000 times brighter than our sun! God is truly beyond incredibly amazing. I cannot find the words of praise to honor my Creator, except to say THANK YOU for everything! We humans are so unworthy of our Creator's love and goodness, yet He faithfully and lovingly blesses us daily. Psalms 68:19, “Blessed be the Lord, who daily loadeth us with benefits, even the God of our salvation. Selah.”
