It Would Require 31,665 Years To Count To One Trillion

Psalms 145:3, “Great is the LORD, and greatly to be praised; and his greatness is unsearchable.”

Our Creator is truly more than amazing.

It would take you approximately 11 days to count to ONE MILLION.

It would take you approximately 31.7 years to count to one BILLION.

To count to ONE TRILLION would take you approximately 31,665 years!!! This estimate is based on the fact that there are about 31.5 million seconds in a year. Wow! However, i
n actuality, for example, it would require about 5-7 seconds to read a number like 432,584,391,007. So, in reality, if you were to read out loud every number until you reached ONE TRILLION, it would literally take you about 150,000 YEARS!!!

Astronomers now estimate that there are at least 20 TRILLION galaxies in the known universe; not stars, just galaxies! And each galaxy contains hundreds of billions of suns (stars, some MUCH bigger than our own sun).

The biggest star astronomers have found so far is named 'UY Scuti,' a red supergiant with a radius approximately 1,700 times that of the sun. It is located in the constellation Scutum and is so large that nearly 5 billion of our local suns could fit inside. It has a mind-numbing radius estimated at 909 solar radii ('solar radius' is a unit of distance used to express the size of objects in astronomy relative to the Sun). UY Scuti has a radius of approximately 909 solar radii, which means if it were centered in our solar system (instead of our sun), its surface would extend beyond the orbit of Jupiter, reaching around 8 astronomical units (AU) in diameter. Wow! UY Scuti has a ginormous volume of 750 million times that of our sun. No telescope built by man is capable of seeing beyond the known universe! God is more than amazing!

The new ''James Webb Space Telescope' (JWST) can see much farther than all of its predecessors, operating at 7 degrees above Absolute Zero (which is -459.67 F). Since red infrared light is absorbed by heat, engineers had to design the JWST to operate close to Absolute Zero, the coldest temperature obtainable at which all molecules stop moving.

But as incredible as the JWST is, the manmade device is still greatly limited as to how far it can peer into deep space, literally viewing light that has been traveling for BILLIONS of years to reach the Milky Way Galaxy. The living and true God is truly astounding! There is still more to see that mankind simply doesn't have the technological power yet to see.

And if that hasn't blown your mind, then consider the longest word in English...
pneumonoultramicroscopicsilicovolcanoconiosis
Wow! This word has 45 letters and refers to a lung disease caused by inhaling very fine silicate or quartz dust. Here's how to pronounce that big word.

And finally, it would take you approximately 31,688,087.81 years to count to one quadrillion. That is, if it took you one second to speak each number. Realistically, it would take about 10 seconds each to say those big numbers out loud, so we're actually talking about an estimate closer to 300 million years to count to one quadrillion. I'll bet you didn't realize just how big these numbers really are. I didn't either at first. Our benevolent Savior is majestic and faithful.

It makes me weep when I realize that such a faithful omnipotent Creator would suffer, bleed and die for an unworthy guilty sinner like me. Genesis 32:10a, “
I am not worthy of the least of all the mercies, and of all the truth, which thou hast shewed unto thy servant...
