The Damnable Lordship Salvation Of 'UNSHACKLED' Radio

I drop in once in a while to listen to the latest "UNSHACKED" radio program, which has been produced by Pacific Garden Mission in Chicago since 1950. Throughout the 1970's when I was a boy, my Mom used to play the piano at Pacific Garden Mission, and my Dad would preach, and I would quote a Bible verse. My Mom was friends with Lucille who played the organ on all their UNSHACKLED episodes back then.

There was a tavern next to the old mission, whose address was literally 666 S. State street. The tavern called itself: "THE 666 LOUNGE." You couldn't make this stuff up! I remember seeing a long beer truck one day in front of the mission, unloading booze for the tavern next door, and I read the message on the side of the semi-truck: "Pure brewed from God's country." What irony!

Anyway, today I listened to the latest UNSHACKLED episode 3,796 about Vernon Goff. I wanted to vomit at the end when the mission narrator presented his Satanic counterfeit plan of salvation. Nowhere in his presentation did the man even mention Jesus' death on the cross, burial or bodily resurrection (which three things comprise "the Gospel"). The narrator starts off okay by acknowledging that salvation is a "gift" and that we are not saved by our own goodness, but then he goes horribly astray by requiring you to "believe in Him as Lord" and then to "begin the process of completely submitting yourself to the one true King." What you are about to hear is: The Damnable Heresy Of Lordship Salvation.

When the unsaved Philippian jailer asked Paul and Silas in Acts 16:30b, "𝗦𝗶𝗿𝘀, 𝘄𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗺𝘂𝘀𝘁 𝗜 𝗱𝗼 𝘁𝗼 𝗯𝗲 𝘀𝗮𝘃𝗲𝗱?," their simple answer in verse 31b was to, "𝗕𝗲𝗹𝗶𝗲𝘃𝗲 𝗼𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗟𝗼𝗿𝗱 𝗝𝗲𝘀𝘂𝘀 𝗖𝗵𝗿𝗶𝘀𝘁, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝘁𝗵𝗼𝘂 𝘀𝗵𝗮𝗹𝘁 𝗯𝗲 𝘀𝗮𝘃𝗲𝗱." They simply told the man to BELIEVE on the "Lord Jesus Christ," not to believe in Him "as Lord." There is a BIG difference.

They didn't tell the jailer to "begin the process of completely submitting yourself to the one true King." Getting saved is NOT a process, it is an immediate new birth. Nowhere in the inspired King James Bible are we taught to completely submit our self to Jesus as the one true King to get to Heaven. You simply need to trust Jesus as your Savior to be saved—not your King, not your Lord, not your Friend, not your Buddy, not your Leader—but your Saviour. These are not mere embellishments of the Gospel, they are damnable heresies which cannot produce the new birth in Christ. The trash that Pacific Garden Mission is preaching is another gospel accursed by God (Galatians 1:6-9). Former PGM director Harry Saulnier (1902-1990) would have a heart attack today if he came back from Heaven and saw the demonic garbage that they are teaching people.

God authored the entire Gospel of John for one specific purpose, which according to John 20:31 is to convince the reader that Jesus is the only begotten Son of God, the Christ, and that by BELIEVING you will be saved. The Gospel of John is God's Gospel tract. Nowhere in John will you find any teaching that you must "believe in Him as Lord" to be saved. Nor will you find anything in John which says to "begin the process of completely submitting yourself to the one true King." I HATE the Devil's lie of Lordship Salvation, because it robs Christ of His due credit for the work of redemption, and instead places part of the burden of remedying sin upon the sinner's shoulder, demanding that he or she amend their way to get to Heaven, which is 100% works.

The truth is that you CAN get saved by simple childlike faith (trust) in the death, burial and resurrection of Jesus Christ (1st Corinthians 15:1-6), and continue living like the Devil committing sin and still be 100% assured of Heaven and eternal life. What saith the Scripture? 𝗥𝗼𝗺𝗮𝗻𝘀 𝟲:𝟭, “𝗪𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝘀𝗵𝗮𝗹𝗹 𝘄𝗲 𝘀𝗮𝘆 𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗻? 𝗦𝗵𝗮𝗹𝗹 𝘄𝗲 𝗰𝗼𝗻𝘁𝗶𝗻𝘂𝗲 𝗶𝗻 𝘀𝗶𝗻, 𝘁𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗴𝗿𝗮𝗰𝗲 𝗺𝗮𝘆 𝗮𝗯𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗱?” God doesn't want us to continue living in flagrant sin (2nd Timothy 2:19), and if we do there will be chastisement and consequences at some point (Hebrews 12:6-8); but nothing we could ever do, or fail to do as a believer, could separate us from God's free gift of eternal life, which is obtained by FAITH ALONE. Faith is the only righteous thing that I can do. Once Saved, Always Saved (OSAS).

Here is another heretical quote from UNSHACKLED...

That is a counterfeit gospel! That is not what the inspired Word of God teaches. Sadly, religious reprobates have taken control over Pacific Garden Mission, who are not saved. Harry Saulnier NEVER would have allowed this garbage theology to be taught on 'Unshackled.' No one has ever repented of all their sins! You cannot show me anywhere in the Scripture that requires a person to repent from their sins, or turn from their sins, let alone "all my sins" to be saved. Tragically, PGM and UNSHACKLED are pulling on the same rope as the Devil.

Furthermore, nowhere does the inspired King James Bible tell us to believe in Jesus “to be the leader of my life.” You need to by faith receive Jesus as your personal Savior, not your Leader. The never-ended rash of Satan's new counterfeit plans of salvation are getting weirder and stranger every day.
