Bride And Gloom

Ephesians 5:21-28, “Submitting yourselves one to another in the fear of God. Wives, submit yourselves unto your own husbands, as unto the Lord. For the husband is the head of the wife, even as Christ is the head of the church: and he is the saviour of the body. Therefore as the church is subject unto Christ, so let the wives be to their own husbands in every thing. Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loved the church, and gave himself for it; That he might sanctify and cleanse it with the washing of water by the word, That he might present it to himself a glorious church, not having spot, or wrinkle, or any such thing; but that it should be holy and without blemish. So ought men to love their wives as their own bodies. He that loveth his wife loveth himself.”

I listened to a wonderful sermon today by Pastor Donald R. Hubbard (1930-2020). The sermon is titled: 'BRIDE AND GLOOM.'

Description: The role of a mother is one of the most important in the family. God has designed the woman to effectively perform her role in the home as God strengthens and helps her. Many brides say marriage is filled with gloom. But God has designed the institution of marriage as one of teamwork and satisfaction. The listener will see what the Bible says about love and marriage for the woman.
If you are married or planning on getting married, I sincerely hope that you will take the time to listen to these life transforming Bible sermons by Pastor Hubbard. Sadly, marriage are failing at an alarming rate in America today. Wicked legislatures, judges and greedy lawyers have made it extremely easy to bail out when the going gets tough in one's marriage, and just quit one's marriage vows. I love that in the Philippines there are no divorce courts, because divorce is illegal there. Would to God that it were so in the United States and its territories.

Divorce is always a sin. There are no grounds for divorce. Should a spouse who is being abused leave? Yes, if it is serious abuse. There are fools today who file for divorce if their spouse calls them a name. That is ungodly. When you agreed to get married, you promised to stay together no matter what. I don't blame some people for leaving their abusive spouse, but divorce ought never be an option. The Lord was willing to endure the harsh brutality, shame and cruel humility of the cross because He loves us, yet most people aren't even willing to tolerate their spouse's flaws. No marriage is perfect.

Albeit, having said that, if every married couple will listen to this 2-part helpful sermon by Pastor Donald Hubbard, who went to Heaven to be with Jesus in 2020, it will do miracles to improve or even save your marriage dear friend. Thank you for reading my blogs. I love you unconditionally with Christ's love, whoever you may be. Jesus is precious!!!
