Something Difficult For Lifelong Christians To Understand

Ephesians 4:17-23, “This I say therefore, and testify in the Lord, that ye henceforth walk not as other Gentiles walk, in the vanity of their mind, Having the understanding darkened, being alienated from the life of God through the ignorance that is in them, because of the blindness of their heart: Who being past feeling have given themselves over unto lasciviousness, to work all uncleanness with greediness. But ye have not so learned Christ; If so be that ye have heard him, and have been taught by him, as the truth is in Jesus: That ye put off concerning the former conversation the old man, which is corrupt according to the deceitful lusts; And be renewed in the spirit of your mind.”

I was saved at the early age of 12 or 13 (I've been giving this matter a lot of thought lately and I am leaning toward I had just turned 13). I was saved at a very early age. So, I never really went into what some Christians would call “deep sin.” I was a rambunctious kid. I used to steal vegetables from my neighbour's garden in their backyard and then throw the vegetables at their house. That wasn't very nice! I used to love playing “Ding Dong Ditch,” ringing neighbour's door bells and then me and my friends would run away to hide. Some people would get really mad, yelling at ghosts (because we were hiding) things that I cannot repeat. Today, people shoot kids for ringing their doorbell. Times sure have changed from when I was growing up in the 1970's.

Anyway, as rough as I was as a kid, I was mild by today's standards. Teens today are scary! I've been horrified by some of the recent local news. I saw a shocking news video this week of a punk shoving a stranger into a speeding train. You couldn't make this stuff up! In November of 2025 a deranged lunatic set a 26 year old woman on fire. He murdered her! The perpetrator had been previously arrested 72 times and convicted of 10 felonies, but was still free to hurt others. A judge who acquits the guilty condemns the innocent. We are living in perilous times in the United States. Even so, come, Lord Jesus!

Something that Christians like me have a difficult time understanding, who got saved at a very early age, is that there are cold-hearted wicked people in this world who can commit heinous acts of evil with no conscious whatsoever. We simply cannot fathom the depths of their depravity, and thank God! I am grateful to the LORD that I cannot grasp the mindset of a homosexual. If you don't think that homosexuality is gross and perverted, you are not right with God.

Sadly, my next door neighbour was robbed last month by dirty thieves. My security camera recorded the criminal's face and body, and his pickup truck, in the very act of stealing my neighbour's trailer from his yard. I gave the videos to my neighbour, who gave them to the local sheriff's office. Unfortunately, security camera companies today are so greedy that they are selling crap quality merchandise for premium prices, hurting consumers. Even though I paid $2,200 for my GW Security camera system from Amazon, and the system did record the thief's vehicle license plate, the resolution is so bad that you couldn't even guess what the letters and numbers were on the plate. I hate our greedy degenerate ungodly culture today in America that places no value, priority or consideration on quality anymore! We've lost our goodness.

Pastor Lester Roloff (1914-1982) was so right, who in his sermon titled “Titanic” said: “America was 'great' when she was good, and she was good when she had great churches.” Those days are forever gone my friend! Today's churches are pathetic instead of great. In 2025 there were 15,000 church closures across the United States, and another 15,000 churches are expected to close their doors forever in 2026. To be honest, I think this is a GREAT THING! I wish they would all close their doors, and then we can start over. There are an estimated 350,000 churches across the United States. Tragically, 99.9% of them are DEAD spiritually! I'd dare say that there are 350 great churches remaining in our country.

Pastors and their wives are as carnal as can be nowadays. God pity the pastor's wife who wears pants in public, and her henpecked husband who allows and defends such wickedness. I'm preaching at you Family Baptist Church in Pensacola!

Pastor Bill Adams' wife dissed me as a human being. She is as carnally minded as can be, merely going through the motions of playing church year after year. The easiest place in the world to backslide is at church because you get used to the routine. That is what church revivals are all about, but tragically most revivals today are nothing more than entertainment time and filling your belly with food. SHAME!!!

The thief in the video that my security system recorded on March 6th and 7th of 2026, looks to be calm, just another day for him, while stealing with impunity from an innocent family. Folks, if you have been saved for 47 years like I have, we have a hard time understanding those kind of cruel people. I cannot even fathom someone hurting another human being without having any conscience about it whatsoever. That is because I FEAR GOD, and so should you if you are wise.

I assure you dear reader that there are evil people in this world who could easily put a bullet in your head and go home to enjoy a good movie over dinner with their own family. The infamous Golden State Killer (a career police officer) was finally apprehended after being on the loose for 40 years (DNA finally caught up with him thankfully). He was convicted of brutally raping 53 women, some young teenagers. He murdered 13 of his victims. He burglarized over a hundred homes. Yet, in court his own niece testified that he was the most loving uncle a girl could ever want. Weird? No, he chose his victims. He loved his own family while fortuning others. Only God knows the incalculable damage that he caused by his evil crimes. There were many divorces, heart attacks, mental breakdowns and suicides because of what he did to his victims! Thankfully, I cannot even wrap my brain around how he could live with himself.

If you've ever seen the infamous 1972 film “The Godfather,” that is reality! Murdering people is just business to some men! Most of us have never met true evil in our lifetime, and I pray that we never do. I have met some evil people, but I cannot say that I have ever met true evil yet. The way that I humbly see it as a Christian, there are four types of sinful people (and we're all guilty sinners in God's sight until we become born again)...

1. The Goodie Two Shoes Person - This person doesn't cuss, doesn't use tobacco or drink booze, doesn't watch Hollywood movies or listen to worldly music. This type of person often enjoys going to church and is just a decent person with high morals.
2. The Average Person - They cuss from time time time. They enjoy movies, might drink beer or use tobacco. They watch Hollywood movies. They have some bad habits or worldliness in their life, but don't want to hurt or take advantage of anybody. I'd consider myself in this group.
3. Bad People - These people do hurt others. They'll steal your money, lie about you and if given the opportunity, commit adultery with your wife. You cannot and should not trust them. They'll cheat on their taxes, break their promises and do not fear God.
4. The Purely Evil Monster - This is where you'll find criminals like John Wayne Gacy, Jeffrey Dahmer, Benjamin Netanyahu and Adolf Hitler. The value of life means absolutely nothing to them! This is why Israeli President Benjamin Netanyahu could murder 75,227 innocent Palestinians (mostly defenseless women and children) without showing the least bit of remorse. Only a purely evil monster could murder innocent people!!!

For most of my adult life, I couldn't grasp the reality that there are completely heartless humans who can commit the most unimaginable crimes against others, and feel zero guilt or remorse; but I now understand that such evil people do indeed exist. Not all of them are psychotic serial killers like Ted Bundy, some are heathen politicians like the present insane mayor of Chicago. Brandon Johnson is a lunatic communist monster!

I remember years ago that admirable former Minnesota Governor Jesse Ventura said his own mother refused to believe that 911 was an Inside Job. Jesse said that his mother was such a good, sweet and honest human being that she couldn't even begin to grasp the thought that our own U.S. White House could be so evil to orchestrate the 911 attacks, but they most certainly did dear reader. The evidence is irrefutable and damning!

The smoking gun behind 911 was that President Bush's younger brother, Marvin Bush, headed up the security co many that oversaw all electronic surveillance on The Trade Tower complex in the 2-years prior to the 911 attacks. That's how they obtained access to plant the explosives. Bush and company think that they've escaped justice, but the inspired Word of God PROMISES that they haven't (Ecclesiastes 5:8, 12:14). Hell is coming up to meet George W. Bush at his death someday, where monsters' Dick Cheney and George H. Bush are already burning in torment without rest day nor night, without hope, forever.

Yes, there are some evil people in this world, the depths of whose corrupt wicked souls we will never truly understand. When demonic serial killer John Wayne Gacy (who literally made money on the side working as a clown) was finally executed (15 years after sodomizing and murdering over 40 boys), his brain was dissected and mailed to Kansas so that a pathologist could slice it up to see if there were any abnormalities in his brain. The results all came back normal. Boy, that's frightening!

You see dear reader, they were looking in the wrong place. What saith the Scripture?  Jeremiah 17:9-10, “The heart is deceitful above all things, and desperately wicked: who can know it? I the LORD search the heart, I try the reins, even to give every man according to his ways, and according to the fruit of his doings.” They were examining Mr. Gacy's physical brain, but the inspired Holy Bible warns that it is the human heart that is evil.

Matthew 15:17-19, “Do not ye yet understand, that whatsoever entereth in at the mouth goeth into the belly, and is cast out into the draught? But those things which proceed out of the mouth come forth from the heart; and they defile the man. For out of the heart proceed evil thoughts, murders, adulteries, fornications, thefts, false witness, blasphemies.”

Jesus said that the source of manure is the food that we eat, but the source of murders, adulteries, gossip, heresy, immodesty, Lordship Salvation, mistreating others and every evil thing is from THE HUMAN HEART. Only a fool trusts his own wicked heart! The adage is true: Never trust a man who trusts himself.

We are all sinful by nature. I have heard some preachers foolishly teach that as a Christian we no longer have a sinful nature, but that is false teaching. Although it is true that every believer has a new nature in Christ Jesus (2nd Corinthians 5:17), we also still have the old nature since we are still in the flesh (Romans 7:14-25).

It is difficult for many saints to grasp the reality that some people have zero conscience. I admit that I still have a problem understanding such people. I am glad that I have difficulty understanding the calloused heart of a hardened sinner, because by God's grace I don't ever want to become that person. The less someone cares, the less they care. The hallmark character trait of being a Christian is caring. Do you care dear reader?
