Some wives hate being corrected and don't want a boss for a husband. I saw this meme that Mrs. Marjorie Younce (Pastor Max D. Younce's wife) posted in May of 2022 on her Facebook page, in which she admirably calls her husband, “The Boss.” I love that loyalty! The biblical truth that a husband is THE BOSS in any marriage is a concept that most women resent, hate, reject and punish their husband for trying to be. Like it or not ladies, your husband is: “The Boss”!
“The Boss and Me”
No godly husband likes to be a “Boss,” to a lazy hound dog for a wife. Mrs. Younce has a godly attitude toward her husband, that he is her “Boss” and she submits to him. Pastor Younce went to Heaven on August 11, 2023. I miss my ministry friend. I pray for Mrs. Younce regularly. I wanted to share this godly woman's testimony with other women and wives, because feminist rebellion is the root cause of millions of divorces today in America.
1st Peter 3:1-6, “Likewise, ye wives, be in subjection to your own husbands; that, if any obey not the word, they also may without the word be won by the conversation of the wives; While they behold your chaste conversation coupled with fear. Whose adorning let it not be that outward adorning of plaiting the hair, and of wearing of gold, or of putting on of apparel; But let it be the hidden man of the heart, in that which is not corruptible, even the ornament of a meek and quiet spirit, which is in the sight of God of great price. For after this manner in the old time the holy women also, who trusted in God, adorned themselves, being in subjection unto their own husbands: Even as Sara obeyed Abraham, calling him lord: whose daughters ye are, as long as ye do well, and are not afraid with any amazement.”
