I also found this comment with which I agree...
The scripture refers to the church as the bride of Christ, and Jesus invites us to be one with Him and the Father. So, as far as intimacy, God has invited us to be more intimate with Him than we can really comprehend with our limited minds. However, before calling God "daddy" I think one should consider that God is holy. The scripture says that our God is a consuming fire. It also tells us that the fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom. I don't know if God minds if someone calls Him daddy, but my feeling is that God wants us to reverence Him and worship Him in Spirit and in truth. In truth, He calls Himself our Father in Heaven and this is the way Jesus addressed Him. Some argue that Abba means daddy but in my research I have not found it to be true.
https://www.christianforums.com/threads/calling-god-daddy.7763939/I don't think it is sinful to call God, "Daddy," but to me it is just weird. The fact that it offends so many people is enough reason alone for me not to use the term, when referring to our heavenly “Father.” I think "Father" retains the reverence and respect that we should always have toward God. "Daddy" seems too awkward to me. I actually think we can get too close to God in our own mind. That is, we can become a little too relaxed around God, so that we begin to lose our reverence for Him as our Holy Creator.
I call my pastor "Pastor Brad" or "Pastor," but I would never call him "Brad" or "Hey Buddy." I think the same is true of calling God, "Daddy." It would be like calling my pastor by his first name, which would be improper. I think it is important to always precede his name with “Pastor.” It is too personal because a certain level of respect should always be maintained to be respectful.
I understand that as believers we become much closer to God in a relationship that no human relationship can compare to. However, I humbly think that it is best not to call God, “Daddy.” I cannot show you a Scripture passage to condemn the use of the term, but my humble opinion is that it is just too lacking of respect for our holy God.
