Simp Husbands, Rebellious Wives And Teenage Punks

I listened top this tremendous sermon today by Pastor Steven Anderson, that I'd like for everybody to hear...

2 Chronicles 23: Simp Husbands, Rebellious Wives, and Teenage Punks - OCTOBER 16, 2024

I agree 200% with Pastor Steven Anderson. We have a serious problem with authority in America. I wish to God that divorce was illegal in America, but it's sadly legal. We live in a sordid society of rebellious, loud-mouthed, stubborn, contention, wives! A wife should obey because God commands her to, not because her husband earns her respect. A husband is commanded by God to love his wife, whether she submits to him or not. This is just the way it has to be. REBELLION IS DESTROYING AMERICA!

To God be the glory!

I said the heresy of John MacArthur! I said the heresy of John MacArthur! And somebody that's got several thousand people to hear 'em, who can go across this country, has got to alert Baptists that we have false teachers in our midst who are no longer teaching and preaching salvation by grace through faith plus nothing. The truth is so concentrated, that just one drop of the real unadulterated truth of THE GOSPEL, hard preaching—one clear 10-minute presentation of the Gospel—is more powerful than one hundred hours of NOTHINGNESS in their 'BLAH!' church or school!” —Pastor Steven L. Anderson, "The Dechristianization Of Our Nation"

“Be on guard against any tampering with the Word, whether disguised as a search for truth, or a scholarly attempt at apparently hidden meanings; and beware of the confusion created by the senseless rash of new versions, translations, editions, and improvements upon the tried and tested Bible of our fathers and grandfathers.” —Pastor M.R. DeHaan (1891-1965), “The Tabernacle,” p. 101

“They consider me radical, and I am not radical today, and don't you buy into that. And you know, I don't like when people from our church think: 'Oh yeah, our pastor is so extreme! He's so radical.' That is not true! I'm a Bible-believing preacher. There's nothing extreme or radical other than what the Bible is saying being extreme. If you want to call it 'extreme' or 'radical,' than that's what you're saying about the Bible, because there's nothing that I preach that is not in this Book. And if there is, tell me about it and I'll change it. I'll quit preaching it. There's nothing radical about what I preach. Our society has become radically wicked! And so, when a preacher just gets up and preaches a normal sermon, they think: 'Hey, you cross the line Buddy!' No, I didn't cross the line, you removed the landmark. You moved the line. I'm not crossing the line at all, I'm preaching the Bible today.” —Pastor Steven Anderson, "Man Of God"

And you know, obviously yeah, I've been blessed in a lot of ways, but I've also gone through some really hard things that you might not want to go through. So we all have pros and cons to our life. If all our troubles were hung on a line, you'd take yours and I'd take mine, because we're all going through different stuff.” —Pastor Steven Anderson, "Rich Men In James"

“The conversion of Cornelius and his household completely contradicts the notion that faith must be coupled with prayer in order to result in salvation. Acts 10:43, 'To him give all the prophets witness, that through his name whosoever believeth in him shall receive remission of sins. 'While Peter yet spake these words...' Don't miss that! 'While Peter yet spake these words, the Holy Ghost fell on all them which heard the word.' Notice, 'WHILE PETER YET SPAKE THESE WORDS, the Holy Ghost fell on all them which heard the word.' Why? Because their hearing was mixed with faith. These men were saved while the preacher was still speaking.”—Evangelist Onorato Diamante, "Steven Anderson Is DEAD WRONG About the Sinner’s Prayer"

“I am so sick and tired of Christian people gettin' mad at each other because of the dollar, I don't know what to do. I wonder sometimes if there is anybody left that's spiritual. I really do. I mean, fuss about a dollar. If a guy wants some of your money, let him have the money! I mean, I spend a lot of my time refereeing fights of people in this church, who get mad at each other because of money. Listen, there's not enough of that to fight over.” —Pastor Jack Hyles, “What Blocks You From The Spirit Filled Life?”
