Evangelist John R. Rice Sympathized With The Palestinian People

Here are the compassionate words of Dr. John R. Rice (1895-1980), founder of the Sword of the Lord, concerning the theft of Arab homes by the Illuminati-controlled United Nations in 1948:
I have a great deal of sympathy for that spirit of nationalism among Arabs who feel they have been robbed and defrauded and abused and imposed upon and who want back their own land. I can understand that. I think they will never be given back the land that was given Israel by the United Nations in 1948, but I think that provisions must be made for those millions and a third refugees in refugee camps in Jericho, in Amman, in Beirut, in the Gaza strip, and elsewhere. God loves those people and they must have the Gospel.”

Amen and amen. Since May of 1948 Israel's horrible leaders have persecuted the Palestinian people, making their daily lives difficult and unbearable. On October 7, 2023 the Palestinian terrorist group Hamas attacked Israel and murdered 1,200 people. Another 200 Jews were taken hostage. The vengeful retaliation by Israel against the people living in Gaza since has been untenable. As of April 7, 2024 Israel has murdered 33,596 innocent people in Palestine.

Kindly said, I do NOT stand with Israel. Just because someone murders one of your loved one's doesn't give you the right or permission to go murder their entire extended family. In fact, you don't have a right to murder even one person! Israel has no right to genocide the Palestinian people. Seventy percent of the 33,596 dead people in Gaza were defenseless women and children. How is that justice? That is vengeance, not justice! If you are okay with Israel slaughtering 33,596 Palestinians, then you are an ungodly monster!

I don't understand so-called “Christian Zionists who continually demonize the Arabs and whitewash the Jews. Just like Gentiles, so also are Jewish people dirty, guilty, rotten, Hell-deserving sinners (Romans 3:10-23, 6:23; Revelation 20:11-15, 21:8). The Arab people are the descendants of Abraham, just as are the Jews. As Christians we must love everybody with God's unconditional love. No one is right with God who hates anybody. I love Jews and Arabs alike with God's unconditional love. Jesus was willing to die for them all (Romans 5:6-9).

Only Born-Again Jews and Gentiles Are Among The Chosen

What saith the Scripture? Romans 2:28-29, For he is not a Jew, which is one outwardly; neither is that circumcision, which is outward in the flesh: But he is a Jew, which is one inwardly; and circumcision is that of the heart, in the spirit, and not in the letter; whose praise is not of men, but of God. The inspired Holy Bible is very clear that someone is NOT A JEW who is only one outwardly. That is, your DNA. Regardless of how Jewish your ethnicity may be according to your DNA marker, the Bible says you are not considered a Jew in God's sight unless you're born-again.

We further read in Galatians 3:26-29, For ye are all the children of God by faith in Christ Jesus. For as many of you as have been baptized into Christ have put on Christ. There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither bond nor free, there is neither male nor female: for ye are all one in Christ Jesus. And if ye be Christ's, then are ye Abraham's seed, and heirs according to the promise. Only those who have been born anew by the Holy Spirit of God are included in Abraham's seed (i.e., part of the heavenly family).

Romans 11:22-23, Behold therefore the goodness and severity of God: on them which fell, severity; but toward thee, goodness, if thou continue in his goodness: otherwise thou also shalt be cut off. And they also, if they abide not still in unbelief, shall be graffed in: for God is able to graff them in again. That's a big “if.” This promise from God is CONDITIONAL. If a Gentile or Jew refuses to trust in Jesus Christ as personal Savior, then they won't be graffed into the olive tree (God's blessings and salvation). Tragically, 99% of the 7,000,000 Jews living in Israel today still abide in unbelief. They are lost hellbound infidels.

Love The Arab People

One of the things that I love and admire about Dr. John R. Rice is that he had a heart of concern for people. Dr. Rice cared about the displaced and suffering people of Palestine.

The Jews were scattered throughout the world in 70 AD when Rome annihilated Jerusalem. I sincerely believe that the Jews are “God's people.” However, they are not “The Chosen” unless they have faith in Jesus Christ. Throughout the Holy Bible God's promises ALWAYS followed a line of faith. Romans 2:28-29a, For he is not a Jew, which is one outwardly; neither is that circumcision, which is outward in the flesh: But he is a Jew, which is one inwardly... Jesus plainly warned Nicodemus (a Jew) that “Ye must be born again” to enter into God's Kingdom. It doesn't matter how good or religious you are, Ye must be born again. It doesn't matter how dedicated or loyal you are to a cause, Ye must be born again. It doesn't matter if you are Jewish or Gentile, Ye must be born again. John 3:3, “Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.

What saith the Scripture? Romans 9:6-7, “Not as though the word of God hath taken none effect. For they are not all Israel, which are of Israel: Neither, because they are the seed of Abraham, are they all children: but, In Isaac shall thy seed be called. Here again we plainly see that a physical Jew is not necessarily a spiritual Jew. God's promises always followed a line of faith, which we see through the line of Isaac.

It saddens me that most professed Christians today blindly support Israel. I am not on anyone's personal side, I am on the side of truth and righteousness. It is very important that any Bible student differentiate between heathen Jews and saved (born again) Jews. I have shared numerous Scripture passages with you that teach that only saved Jews are of the true seed of Abraham. No Christ-rejecting Jew will ever enter into the Kingdom of God. Faith is the key that unlocks the blessings of God.

Present-Day Israel Is Not The Fulfillment Of Bible Prophecy

Here is some accurate, biblical and gentlemanly commentary from Pastor J. Vernon McGee (1904-1988) concerning why present-day Israel is NOT the fulfillment of Bible prophecy:
“Israel is just like any other nation. Some think they're a little brutal, but my friend, they're on the defense over there, you can be sure of that. And they have to exercise a strong defense system. They're not backing that land in fulfillment of prophecy. They have returned to the land, but they have not yet returned to the Lord. When they return to the Lord there will be blessing. They have not yet done that!

...they went out in 70 A.D. And they actually have never returned to the land according to the Word of God. Now hear me very carefully because this is very important to see. They have returned to the land today, and it's remarkable what has happened over there, but it's not the fulfillment of prophecy, because the prophecy says when they return they'll return TO GOD!”

SOURCE: Pastor J. Vernon McGee; THRU-THE-BIBLE; Hosea 2:19-23 and Hosea 3:4
In his 5-year “THRU-THE-BIBLE” commentary for Hosea 3:5, Dr. McGee stresses the truth that there are more Arab Christians in Israel today than there are Jewish Christians. Hosea 3:5, “Afterward shall the children of Israel return, and seek the LORD their God, and David their king; and shall fear the LORD and his goodness in the latter days.” This hasn't happened yet. Millions of Jews have returned to the Holy Land, but they have not returned to God yet.

Upon a return trip to visit Israel, Pastor McGee made the startling comment: “Over there there's no turning to God, at all.” While visiting he saw a big motto in Israel which read: “SCIENCE WILL BRING PEACE TO THIS LAND.” Israel is a Godless nation today! Pastor McGee cites a credible source as saying that there are less than 300 Israelites that are real believers in Israel today. The Russian Catholic Church owns much land in Israel today, as do Greek Orthodox and Muslims. Dr. McGee rightly states:
“We're a nation of biblical ignoramuses! We do not know the Word of God today in this land” (Pastor J. Vernon McGee, 'THRU-THE-BIBLE,' commentary from Hosea 4:1-2)
Hosea 3:5 in the Old Testament evidences the fact that Israel's present return to the land is not the fulfillment of biblical prophecy today. When Jesus Christ returns at His Second Coming, Hosea 3:5 says they will SEEK AND FEAR THE LORD THEIR GOD, and true Israel shall be restored. Click here if you'd like to listen to Pastor J. Vernon McGee's commentary on Hosea.

Would to God that more Christians today would express some sympathy and empathy for their suffering and struggles. You need to understand that their parents and grandparents were driven from their homes at gunpoint. The homes of one million Arabs were robbed from them in 1948 by the military, and given with all their personal possessions to Jewish strangers. If you understand that injustice, then you might be able to grasp why Arabs are willing to die for their cause. If a foreign nation invaded the United States and stole men's homes and all that they owned, we wouldn't just walk away and let the matter go. We'd justly fight to the death for what is ours!

Shame on any child of God who automatically sides with Israel and has zero compassion toward the Palestinian people. Brother John R. Rice cared about the Palestinian people. He saw their suffering and frustration, and he expressed sympathy and empathy for their dilemma. Where are those people supposed to go? They are refugees, militarily displaced since 1948 from their homes. The mainstream newsmedia demonizes Hamas (an estimated group of 21,000 Arab activists). All the Palestinian people want is recognition as a proper nation. They want their own legitimate existence! Can you blame them? Israel wants to keep their foot upon the neck of the Palestinian people, controlling and limiting them to prevent any prosperity. Jewish people are no better than Gentiles. Racism is a horrible sin!

Years ago I saw a caption in a book written by Christian author Salem Kirban (1925-2010). The photo showed a police officer beating a male student with a Billy Club during the college riots during the Vietnam War era. The caption asked the question: What do you see? Do you see a punk getting what he deserves? Or do you see a police officer abusing his authority? If you are a Christian you should see two people who need Jesus Christ. I have never forgotten that image and caption because it is so true. So often we look at situations with a carnal frame of mind, failing to see the great need in people's lives for Jesus Christ as their Savior.

It is sad what is going on in Israel and Gaza today. I cannot “stand with Israel when they are murdering tens of thousands of innocent people with impunity. That is vengeance not justice!
