Those Little Awkward Moments in Life That Hurt Our Feelings

Psalms 139:1-6, “O LORD, thou hast searched me, and known me. Thou knowest my downsitting and mine uprising, thou understandest my thought afar off. Thou compassest my path and my lying down, and art acquainted with all my ways. For there is not a word in my tongue, but, lo, O LORD, thou knowest it altogether. Thou hast beset me behind and before, and laid thine hand upon me. Such knowledge is too wonderful for me; it is high, I cannot attain unto it.”

I was thinking today about all the awkward, embarrassing and strange little things that have happened in my life, that hurt my feelings.

For example: When I moved to Pensacola in 2021, I shopped at Walmart for the first time in decades. I had lived on the island of Guam for 17 years, where there is no Walmart store. So, I went to one of Walmart's self-checkout machines. I scanned each of my item's barcode and I heard the scanner beep. I scanned all of my several dozen items. When I finished I went to swipe my credit card, but only then did I notice that the machine was closed. I looked up and saw that the light was red instead of green, which up until that time I didn't understand what those lights meant. When I realized the mistake that I had made, I heard a mother and daughter laughing at me in the checkout line next to me. That hurt my feelings.

I'll give you another example. I ordered something recently. The item came this week through UPS and required my signature. When the UPS man came to my door and asked me to sign, I signed only my first name. I have no idea why I didn't sign my last name also. In hindsight, I am always suffering in neck pain, and I take prescription medications, and I get a bit nervous around strangers, so I think all those things factored into the reason why I only signed my first name. At the store I usually just scribble my name, which is not even legible. The driver asked me if my last name was "Stewart," and I confirmed that it is. He then told me to have a nice day, and I said likewise. Nothing bad happened. There were no unkind words spoken. But because I forget to sign my full name, and he needed to ask if my last name is Stewart, it hurt my feelings.

I am sure that you also could share with me umpteen similar awkward moments. I could literally share hundreds more with you, that hurt my feelings. This is just a part of life dear friend. We cannot escape our frail humanity. I am writing this blog to help and encourage you, because I suspect that many people go through the same hurt feelings that I do. I have to counsel myself when such awkward moments occur. I remind myself that nothing bad actually happened, it was just an embarrassing moment. I remind myself that there's a lot of hurting people in this world, stuck in wheelchairs and dying of cancer, with real burdens.

Our text Scripture passage from Psalms 139:1-6 is one of my favorite, because it confirms that God monitors my life 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. Nothing escapes the eyes of God. Nothing ever happens where God needs to apologize that he missed it because He was distracted elsewhere. As only God can do, and in ways we cannot even begin to possibly understand, God can give millions of Christians His undivided attention at the same time. That is amazing!

I am now 57 years old. There have been thousands of times in my life when I got my feelings hurt. There are things which happened in my past, that still today pain my soul when I am reminded of them. I "Throw The Cross Into It" (an excellent MP3 sermon by Pastor Jack Hyles). Hurt feelings are a part of life. Awkward and embarrassing moments will happen, and they are unavoidable, regardless of how much we may all try to prevent them from occurring. The reason why we cannot prevent them is because we cannot know every thing that there is to know. We are not omniscient like God is. I cannot even remember what I ate the day before most of the time. People ask for my phone number and I pause, because I never call myself and cannot remember my number quickly.

So when those small awkward, strange and embarrassing moments in life happen to you, remember friend that you are definitely not alone. I have them all the time too. Just focus on Jesus, the Author and Finisher of our faith (Hebrews 12:2).

In this blog I want to give you a little crash course about what is going on in the world today. The inspired King James Bible teaches us the Satan, formerly known as Lucifer the archangel in Heaven, is the malign god of this world (2nd Corinthians 4:4). Earth is his domain and he controls it. Albeit we read in 1st Corinthians 10:26 says, “For the earth is the Lord's, and the fulness thereof.” So the earth itself belongs to almighty God, but Satan (an inferior angel who wants to be God) is in charge of all the wickedness of this world.

What is the meaning of covering the right eye? The Bible tells us in Zechariah 11:17, “Woe to the idol shepherd that leaveth the flock! the sword shall be upon his arm, and upon his right eye: his arm shall be clean dried up, and his right eye shall be utterly darkened.” This is an Old Testament prophecy about the coming Antichrist, who will be a literal man.

We Are Being Manipulated

What do all these occult symbols mean? I could show you thousands more such photos. Search the internet and you will find them. What they mean is that the Bible is true dear friend. There is a God, and He is a good and powerful God. And there is a real Devil, whom the Bible calls Satan, the accuser of the Christian brethren (Revelation 12:10). The battle between good and evil started long before the first human being was ever created by God in the Garden of Eden approximately 6,000 years ago. Humanity has been caught in the crosshairs of this ongoing spiritual war.

Ephesians 6:12-13, “For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places. Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand.”

Our struggle is not with the flesh and blood the Bible says, but with evil spiritual forces at work behind the scenes. Humans are not bodies with a spirit; but rather, a spirit living within a body. When the body dies, “the spirit shall return unto God who gave it” (Ecclesiastes 12:7b).

Very few saints today understand what is going on with Israel. Kindly said, they are ignorant on the matter. They have been misled by their naïve pastors to think that we have an obligation as Christians to support Israel. Nothing could be further from the truth. Why would God want us to bless a wicked group of Christ-rejecters whom He has cursed? There is a reason why Israel was judged, annihilated in 586 BC by Babylon, and then the remnant of Jews scattered throughout the world in 70 AD by Rome. Until the Second Coming of Jesus Christ, the true nation of Israel will not exist (Hosea 3:4-5).

In May of 1948, The Council On Foreign Relations (not God) used military force to drive the Arab people from their homes and land in Palestine. Since that time, Israel has had their foot on the necks of the Palestinian people. Evangelist John R. Rice (1895-1980) wrote these words of empathy for the Palestinian refugees:

“I have great sympathy for more than a million Arabs who live in refugee camps, either driven out or terrorized until they fled from their homes and lands in Palestine—theirs by purchase and theirs by possession and theirs for centuries in their families. And I have a great deal of sympathy for that spirit of nationalism among Arabs who feel they have been robbed and defrauded and abused and imposed upon and who want back their own land. I can understand that. I think they will never be given back the land that was given Israel by the United nations in 1948, but I think that provisions must be made for those millions and a third refugees in refugee camps in Jericho, in Amman, in Beirut, in the Gaza strip, and elsewhere. God loves those people and they must have the Gospel.”

Amen and amen! I don't understand so-called Christian Zionists who continually demonize the Palestinian people in Gaza, while sanctioning the cruel genocide by Israel that's been going against the Palestine people since October of 2023 until present. As of April 25th, 2024, there are 34,305 murdered Palestinians (70% of whom were defenseless women and children). Why does the U.S. government sanction this ongoing genocide with impunity? The answer is simple. The Luciferian elite (i.e., the same evil people who formed and control Israel) also control the United States. These people are Satanists! You need to understand that. Look at all the photos I showed you. Those hand signs all show allegiance to Satan!

Hollywood is run by Satan. The U.S. government is run by Satan. Ultimately, our court system, top universities, FEMA, FBI, CIA, the corporations, our military, and even our churches are being influenced and controlled by the Devil. Why do you think there are literally hundreds of Bible versions for sale today? Satan is the author of confusion, not God (1st Corinthians 14:33). The Devil has children confused nowadays about their gender. This is insanity!

Dear reader, the Arab people are the descendents of Abraham, just as are the Jews. As Christians we must love them all with God's unconditional love and not take sides. I love the Jewish people, but I also equally love the Arab people. Sadly, I personally know of Christian saints who couldn't care less about the skyrocketing death toll in Palestine. They've been brainwashed with Zionist propaganda that is being spread like manure in the churches today. It makes me sick and angry what is going on in Gaza, and I wish I had the power to stop the murdering of innocent people. Israel continues to murder Palestinians with impunity, while the rest of the world's nations sit back (for the cowards they are) doing absolutely nothing. It is shameful.

We read in Revelation 17:16-18, “And the ten horns which thou sawest upon the beast, these shall hate the whore, and shall make her desolate and naked, and shall eat her flesh, and burn her with fire. For God hath put in their hearts to fulfil his will, and to agree, and give their kingdom unto the beast, until the words of God shall be fulfilled. And the woman which thou sawest is that great city, which reigneth over the kings of the earth.” During the 7-year Tribulation (which I believe is coming very soon), a confederacy of ten nations will join the Antichrist to fight against apostate Israel. As you just read for yourself, Israel controls the kings of the earth. Jerusalem is The Great Whore, the woman who rides and controls the Beast (world powers).

Concerning the two prophets from God who will be murdered during the Tribulation, we read in Revelation 11:8, “And their dead bodies shall lie in the street of the great city, which spiritually is called Sodom and Egypt, where also our Lord was crucified.” Carefully notice that the Bible likens Israel today with Sodom and Egypt, two of the most wicked places in human civilization. Jerusalem is the city where the Lord was crucified. Tel Aviv, Israel, today is the gay mecca of the homosexual world. You can easily verify that online. The Huffington Post sickeningly called Tel Aviv, a “gay paradise.” Well, it won't be paradise where the wicked are going in eternity! Revelation 20:15, “And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire.”

It is not a mere coincidence that we see insanity like this today. Check this insanity out! If you think these evils are mere happenstance, then you are woefully deceived friend. I like Tucker Carlson. He is not a Christian, but he is definitely a conservative and I think a good guy. He visited Moscow, Russia, in February of 2024 to interview Russian president Vladimir Putin. While in Moscow, Tucker was amazed how clean the place was, literally. He didn't see any druggies, homeless people or homosexuals parading down the streets. When he returned to America, Tucker said that while in Moscow he came to the realization that all of the problems in the United States today are deliberate (i.e., the homelessness crisis, the open border crisis, the Fentanyl crisis, the housing crisis, feminism, transgenderism lunacy, et cetera). We are being destroyed by design.

Pastor Jack Hyles (1926-2001) back in 1970 saw the handwriting on the wall, in this incredibly insightful sermon titled, "Why The Antichrist Must Come Soon.” The basic gist of the sermon is that out of history's chaos world dictators (Alexander The Great, Julius Caesar, Napoléon, Hitler, et cetera) arose to power. Likewise, out of the ashes and chaos of the United States will arise the Antichrist, and the people will love and embrace him as a great solver of the problems which have decimated our nation for so long. Now you know why things are intentionally being made a mess everywhere we turn today.

The ungodly powers at work behind the scenes want as much chaos as they can create. They want more mass shootings, so they will have an excuse in the future to disarm the American public. It's coming, you just wait and see. Guns will be confiscated and banned in the United States. As of October 2023 guns cannot be sold, bought or traded in Canada anymore! It will happen here in the United States, I assure you! It's just a matter of time. Then we will be completely at the mercy of a thug tyrannical Satanic government.

There's no way that one man, President Joe Biden, had the power to illegally allow 8,500,000 strangers to illegally flood into the country. None of those illegal immigrants were screened to see if they are murderers, terrorists or pedophiles. No background checks were done. Yet, TSA's thugs are forcing elderly U.S. citizens to remove their diapers at all the airports, to check for explosives and contraband. Hell will be hot enough!

Dear reader, things are not looking very good for the future of the United States! What the ungodly Democrats are wickedly doing right now, trying to destroy Mr. Donald Trump with the court system, is unprecedented in our country. I hope this all backfires in their faces! We need a revival of justice in our country. We need a revival of caring and loving each other as our neighbours. Something is very wrong when we've got tens of millions of Americans who are either homeless, living out of their vehicles, or just one paycheck away from being homeless. 

This is the consequence of the sinister Federal Reserve Act of 1913, which gave private crooks (Banksters) exclusive control over our nation's money supply. The Federal Reserve is a massive Ponzi Scheme destined to utterly fail. That is why the government wants to take away your right to defend yourself. They want your firearms!!! Our U.S. economy is going to ultimately IMPLODE, and it won't be too long from now the way things are going.

I could go on for hours about this stuff. Do you really think that it takes 30 to 40 years to pay down your house's mortgage? The banksters planned it that way, to keep you slaving away your entire life and then die broke. It was all calculated by financial scientists! They are the scum of the earth, and they control nearly every facet of your daily life. By making it harder for you to earn a livable wage, they can force your spouse into the workplace, which makes it much more difficult to bear children and raise a family. This is why the birthrate has been steadily decreasing since the 1980's in the United States. The fertility rare is dropping off the chart. This is all by evil design folks! Nobody (and I mean nobody) in their right mind would do what she is doing in her raunchy video, Wildest Dreams. Why aren't parents outraged and angry? Truly, we are a very ungodly society. The problem is not that society is dying spiritually. The Bible says unsaved people are already dead in trespasses and sins (Ephesians 2:1-2). An unsaved person biblically is a child of the Devil (John 8:44). As Bruce Willis said in the movie The Sixth Sense, “I see dead people.”

Also, you might want to read Charlotte Iserbyt's shocking book titled, The Deliberate Dumbing Down Of America. It is no coincidence that the majority of American children today are falling behind at school. The public fool system is failing massively!!!

The rabbit hole runs deep friend. I have only showed you the tip of the iceberg. Since 2002 when God put the earnest desire in my heart (Philippians 2:13) to start a website ministry, I haven't looked back. I have a passion for the ministry work that I do. I love writing blogs and webpages. I have always loved being helpful, giving and doing my part to be a blessing to others for my precious Lord and Savior, Jesus.

I have learned much since 2002 about a lot of things. I am a truth-seeker! In fact, on countless days I've had to just go take a walk, to process the insane and horrifying truths that I have discovered over the many years. Truth is stranger than fiction! That I can tell you assuredly. The Devil is a real person. We read in Job chapter one that the Devil roams about as a bum, going to and fro the earth (Job 1:7), seeking whom he may devour (1st Peter 5:7-8). Thankfully, the Devil cannot harm a child of God unless we let him, because as born-again saints we have the indwelling blessed Holy Spirit (1st John 3:24, 4:4; Romans 8:9).

What shall we do in these perilous times? What should we be doing in these last days? Stay faithful to abide in the inspired King James Bible. Walk with God humbly. Don't stop praying and trusting the Lord in all things. Attend the best Bible believing church that you can find, although admittedly they are becoming harder to find these days. Love everyone around you, even strangers with God's unconditional love. Be good to everyone, because everybody's having a tough time. Be unkind and mean to no one. Be merciful and have empathy for others who are hurting and lonely. Get out of the self life! I am baking my homemade flan desert today, two of them. One is for a 94 year old lady in our church. The other is for a blind woman at church. I wanted to do something nice for others. You should try it sometime if you don't already, because living for others is a way to find some happiness in this miserable life.

Jesus told us in John 16:33, “These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world.” That is not just good advice from our dear Savior, it is His command. Let us all be of good cheer in the Lord. Thank you for reading my blog.

What Is Backsliding?

Proverbs 14:14, “The backslider in heart shall be filled with his own ways: and a good man shall be satisfied from himself.”

Do you know what it means to backslide? It means that you are walking backwards in your soul from God. You are smiling and waving at God, trying to convince Him that everything is okay in your life, and that you know what you are doing, and there's nothing to worry about. All the while you are still walking backwards away from God, going into a life of self and sin.

We've all done it! We are all guilty of backsliding. In fact, one of the greatest sermons I've heard heard was by Pastor Jack Hyles (1926-2001), titled: “The Necessity Of Backsliding.” I sincerely hope and pray dear friend that you will take the time to hear the sermon, because this truth will change your life if you let it. As Dr. Hyles rightly says, you cannot be upstream until you've been downstream. You cannot ascend the mountain until you've been in the valley beneath. You cannot have joy without sorrow. Psalms 30:5, “For his anger endureth but a moment; in his favour is life: weeping may endure for a night, but joy cometh in the morning.” We cannot have any asset in life without the corresponding liability.

It is not okay to backslide, but it will happen nonetheless because we are sinful by nature and by choice as humans. No one is above committing sin, not even the best saint (Romans 7:14-25). Romans 3:10-23 teaches that all humanity are guilty sinners. We sure are! There is none that doeth righteous, no not one. Certainly not me. I am the biggest sinner I know, because I know me better than anyone. And if you are an honest person and know God, then you also see yourself as a big sinner.

Read what the prophet Isaiah said in Isaiah 6:5, “Then said I, Woe is me!  for I am undone; because I am a man of unclean lips, and I dwell in the midst of a people of unclean lips: for mine eyes have seen the King, the LORD of hosts.”

Read what the Apostle Peter said to Jesus in Luke 5:8, “When Simon Peter saw it, he fell down at Jesus' knees, saying, Depart from me; for I am a sinful man, O Lord.”

Read what the Apostle Paul said in 1st Timothy 1:15, “This is a faithful saying, and worthy of all acceptation, that Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners; of whom I am chief.”

As you draw closer to your holy God, you will feel worse about yourself because you will see your sinnership. That is a good thing. Dr. Hyles used to wisely say that he knew he was inferior, but he didn't have an inferiority complex. I think many of us struggle with feeling inferior. I have always tended to be down on myself as an adult. Some people see that in me, and a couple have even told me so. I admit that I tend to be too hard on myself.

I have to continually take my focus off myself, and put it instead on Jesus my precious Savior. If we focus on self, we will be discouraged because we are sinners at best. If we focus on family, they will let us down. If we focus on friends, they will disappoint us. If we look up to our leaders at church, they are only sinful people too. The only perfect standard in the universe is God and His inspired Word. Hebrews 12:2, “Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God.”

We all backslide at times, waving and smiling at God that everything is going to be okay, while we slowly walk backwards away from Him. The truth is that we will eventually be in a world of hurt, and may back off a cliff. James 4:8, “Draw nigh to God, and he will draw nigh to you. Cleanse your hands, ye sinners; and purify your hearts, ye double minded.” Every saint is either drawing nearer to our God, or backsliding away from Him.

For many years now, I have tried to be honest with God and myself, by not insanely thinking that I can make it without God in my life. I desperately need God! When we don't read the inspired King James Bible, and we fail to take the time to pray, we are literally telling God that we don't need His help and we can go it alone without Him. We all need God. Backsliding is walking backwards away from God, while pretending that all is well. Thank you for reading.

People Still Haven't Changed In Thousands Of Years

Luke 12:13-15, “And one of the company said unto him, Master, speak to my brother, that he divide the inheritance with me. And he said unto him, Man, who made me a judge or a divider over you? And he said unto them, Take heed, and beware of covetousness: for a man's life consisteth not in the abundance of the things which he possesseth.”

While I was working at my computer, I was listening to Alexander Scourby read the Gospel of Luke yesterday and was intrigued by some of the things I heard. As I listened to Jesus' interactions with people, I realized that humans haven't changed over the past 2,000 years.

The Covetous Man

In our text Scripture passage, a man in the crowd approaches Jesus to ask Him if He will speak to his brother about sharing his parent's inheritance with him. We don't know the whole story. Did this man receive nothing from his parents when they passed away because he was a bad son? Did he squander his portion of the inheritance left to him, like the Prodigal Son did? We simply don't know. I find it interesting that a complete stranger came up to Jesus with money on his mind, not just asking for advice, but wanting Jesus to somehow coerce his brother to give him some money. That is sickening. I don't like money-hungry people. Truly, the love of money is the root (source) of all evil (1st Timothy 6:12).

I heard Jesus say something profound in Luke 6:30, “Give to every man that asketh of thee; and of him that taketh away thy goods ask them not again.” Wow! How many of us would let someone keep our stuff and not ask for it back, ever? Jesus taught that if someone steals our stuff (or permanently borrows it...lol), we should just let it go and not ask for it back. That intrigued me when I heard Jesus say that. Great fluffy biscuits in the morning! What is God trying to teach us here? The lesson I humbly think is that the greatest things in life are not things. Fearing God and keeping His commandments is worth more than all the money in the world.

Yet, we've all seen people go crazy in excitement when they win a lot of money or a big prize. My Mom used to watch The Price Is Right game show hosted by Bob Barker (1923-2023). Amazingly, the show aired on Tv between 1972 and 2007. As a boy, I remember seeing people on a daily basis jumping up and down on the show, screaming and crying in happiness when they won a lot of money, or a new car, or a world vacation, or all of the above. Even as child I can still remember thinking that it was just money and things. Money cannot buy anyone a home, family or love. I've never seen anyone get that excited over the things of God.

Sadly, over 90% of people are very materialistic. That is why everywhere I turn while driving my car in Pensacola, I see disgusting billboards by shady ambulance-chasing covetous lawyers enticing people to sue others for money. It just reveals the dark underbelly of our ungodly American society, showing how materialistic and covetous we really are today. It is sad and pathetic! Our culture has become so rotten that I don't even want to go out my front door anymore. I just want to stay home and watch the world destroy itself on Tv. I know that I am not alone in my feelings, because some of my blog visitors have told me so. Even so, come, Lord Jesus!

You will never be the mature Christian that God wants you to be, until you come to the place spiritually where having money means nothing to you. I don't have a lot of money and don't care about getting it. A Christian man, whom I consider a ministry friend, recently suggested an idea for making money online. He asked me if I wanted to partner with him. I didn't need to think more than one second to give him my answer. No thanks! I'm not interesting in making money. Since 2002 when God put the strong desire in my heart to start a website ministry, from day one I decided that money would never be a part of my ministry for the Lord. I have never, nor will I ever, ask or take a single penny for my labors for Jesus Christ. I don't need or want the money. I live a simple life. God takes care of me. I have never owned s new car and don't plan to. My used 2013 Honda FIT might as well be a $250,000 fancy sports car (I couldn't even give you the name of an expensive model). My old car gets me from point A to point B, which suits me just fine. ...

There's a roof up above me
I've a good place to sleep
There's food on my table
And shoes on my feet
You gave me your love Lord
And a fine family
Thank you Lord, for your blessings on me

We were all born with nothing and we will die with nothing (1st Timothy 6:7). What matters most is that we are right toward God in this life. That doesn't mean giving most of your money to some covetous pastor who is living large. It does mean that you wisely spend and give the money which God has entrusted to you. If someone has more money than me, good for them, it doesn't impress me. My name is written in Heaven (Luke 10:20), and that is wealth that all the money in the world cannot buy. Thank God!

The Demon Possessed Man

As I listened to the Gospel of Luke, I heard the amazing true story of the maniac of Gadarenes. He ran around by the Sea of Galilee naked, throwing himself into the fire, cutting himself the Bible says. The townspeople had tried binding him with chains, but he broke free with super human strength (cf. Mark 5:1-19). The poor man was demon possessed! ...

Luke 8:26-39, “And they arrived at the country of the Gadarenes, which is over against Galilee. And when he went forth to land, there met him out of the city a certain man, which had devils long time, and ware no clothes, neither abode in any house, but in the tombs. When he saw Jesus, he cried out, and fell down before him, and with a loud voice said, What have I to do with thee, Jesus, thou Son of God most high? I beseech thee, torment me not. (For he had commanded the unclean spirit to come out of the man. For oftentimes it had caught him: and he was kept bound with chains and in fetters; and he brake the bands, and was driven of the devil into the wilderness.) And Jesus asked him, saying, What is thy name? And he said, Legion: because many devils were entered into him. And they besought him that he would not command them to go out into the deep. And there was there an herd of many swine feeding on the mountain: and they besought him that he would suffer them to enter into them. And he suffered them. Then went the devils out of the man, and entered into the swine: and the herd ran violently down a steep place into the lake, and were choked. When they that fed them saw what was done, they fled, and went and told it in the city and in the country. Then they went out to see what was done; and came to Jesus, and found the man, out of whom the devils were departed, sitting at the feet of Jesus, clothed, and in his right mind: and they were afraid. They also which saw it told them by what means he that was possessed of the devils was healed. Then the whole multitude of the country of the Gadarenes round about besought him to depart from them; for they were taken with great fear: and he went up into the ship, and returned back again. Now the man out of whom the devils were departed besought him that he might be with him: but Jesus sent him away, saying, Return to thine own house, and shew how great things God hath done unto thee. And he went his way, and published throughout the whole city how great things Jesus had done unto him.”

I was intrigued when I heard this passage, because the townspeople tolerated the insane man. They tried to bind him. They all knew who he was, where he dwelt, and what he did. But when Jesus cast out the demons and they saw the man sitting at Jesus' feet in his right mind, the Bible says they were terrified. Go figure! That is amazing! They were afraid of success!

I've never seen so much fear of a prospective U.S. President as toward Donald Trump. Countless famous celebrities (Tom Hanks, Cher, Ellen DeGeneres, et cetera) have said that they will leave the United States if Mr. Trump is reelected in 2024. I hope Mr. Trump does get reelected, and that they do leave and please do not come back! What is so wrong with President Trump? He helped the farmers. He helped the veterans. He did MUCH good for our country, more so than any U.S. President since Theodore Roosevelt. It is the ungodly liberals, kooks, heathens and socialists who despise and hate him!

President Joe Biden is an incompetent fool who has done great harm to our nation in many ways, especially by opening the borders. President Trump spent $15,000,000,000 of taxpayer money to build a border wall, which Mr. Biden has mocked and undone. It is a travesty of justice. Jesus warned that a house divided cannot stand and America is divided on everything today. We cannot exist like this indefinitely. If something doesn't change soon, our country will crumble.

The Humble Man

I enjoyed listening to the Gospel of Luke yesterday. I heard the Apostle Peter tell Jesus in Luke 8:5 to depart from him, because he was a sinful man. I like that humility in Peter. And then again in Luke 7:6 the centurion whose servant was sick told his men to go tell Jesus there was no need to come to his home, because he was not worthy for Jesus to enter under his roof. I love that humility! I don't know about you friend, but I feel the same way as Peter and the centurion. I feel so unworthy of Christ's presence in my life, and that a King should bleed and die for a guilty sinner like me. I am speechless of what to say, except THANK YOU!

As I listened to the Gospel of John, I was reminded of how people are the same still today as back in Bible times. One man came to Jesus, wanting him to go convince his brother to split his inheritance with him. That sounds so typical of covetous people today! Some people only think in terms of making money, and it is sinful. Our affections (mind) should be set on things above (Colossians 3:1). This earthly life is short, too short if you ask me.

In 1977, I remember seeing Harrison Ford for the first time in Star Wars (one of my favorite movies), but today he is an old aged man with health issues, frail and it is difficult for him to walk. Time truly does change everything! We will all die someday. Hopefully we will all have the privilege to grow old, which many people do not get. Two children were just murdered this week in Florida, when a 66 year old drunken woman sped her car into a building where a group of children were gathered having a party. She was legally drunk! I have always hated booze and wish our ungodly government would stop sanctioning Liquid Devil and ban it. Sadly, we are governed by fools who don't care how many innocent people are murdered by booze.

Jesus met humble people. He met arrogant people. He met covetous people. I love the true story in Luke when Jesus was teaching the Bible, and suddenly He saw a group of men tearing a hole through the roof, and they lowered down a paralyzed man so Jesus could heal him. God loves that kind of faith! I commend those wise men for taking the initiative to find a way to get Jesus' attention, at all cost. That was clever! It also impresses upon my heart how much they loved and cared about the man whom they brought to Jesus.

Sadly, in our shameful American society today most people don't care about each other. But thankfully some people still do. I saw a tear-jerking news video this week where a group of strangers along a California highway, smashed out an SUV window to rescue a frantic driver who was about to be burned alive after a multiple vehicle accident involving a truck. Those courageous people are heroes!

The Sinfully Proud Man

Our dear Lord met all kinds of people. I also heard in the book of Luke where the wicked Pharisees, scribes, lawyers and unbelieving Jews were oftentimes attempting to trap Jesus in His words. I love how Jesus outsmarted them every time, shaming them with their own foolish plots. Job was right, who said in Job 9:3, “If he will contend with him, he cannot answer him one of a thousand.” It is rare that a man can win an argument with God. Moses once did, when God wanted to destroy the Hebrew for worshipping the golden calf. Moses talked God out of doing it, lest the heathen nations would say God only led the Hebrews out of Egypt to utterly destroy them. So, it is possible to win a debate with God, if you are in the right. I love how that situation with Moses and God, shows how our Creator's personality exists in us humans. God gets upset, just like we do. God loves to be praised, just like we do. God loves to forgive and show mercy, just like a righteous man does.

Pride is a horrible sin, which precedes all other sins. I was thinking this week how we are to blame for the mess in America, not God. The Lord gave us the Holy Bible to guide us through life. It is our instruction Book. Yet, how many people regard God's Word. Not men, that's for sure.

I've been following the news concerning the abortion issue in the United States. It is sad to see thousands of woman rallying and protesting for their right to murder babies. I like what the state of Tennessee is doing. For the past few years, before being allowed to have an abortion, a doctor must legally let a pregnant mother hear her baby's heartbeat. I love that! It shows the mother that she is about to stop a beating heart. It let's her realize that a living human being is in her womb, and it is her precious child. Our ungodly society, and monstrous organizations like Planned Herodhood, have deceived pregnant women to view their living child as material in the womb, nothing more. The blatant disregard for human life in America is staggering!

The Bible commands in Exodus 12:13, “Thou shalt not kill.” Abortion doesn't make a woman unpregnant, it just makes her the mother of a dead baby.

People Are Still The Same

We serve a wonderful risen Savior! As I listened to the book of Luke, and heard about Jesus healing and helping sinful people everywhere He went, it humbled my soul to know that this same Jesus knows and loves me as one of His redeemed sheep. THANK YOU LORD!!!

Why There Is No Love At Pensacola Christian College

Luke 7:40-47, “And Jesus answering said unto him, Simon, I have somewhat to say unto thee. And he saith, Master, say on. There was a certain creditor which had two debtors: the one owed five hundred pence, and the other fifty. And when they had nothing to pay, he frankly forgave them both. Tell me therefore, which of them will love him most? Simon answered and said, I suppose that he, to whom he forgave most. And he said unto him, Thou hast rightly judged. And he turned to the woman, and said unto Simon, Seest thou this woman? I entered into thine house, thou gavest me no water for my feet: but she hath washed my feet with tears, and wiped them with the hairs of her head. Thou gavest me no kiss: but this woman since the time I came in hath not ceased to kiss my feet. My head with oil thou didst not anoint: but this woman hath anointed my feet with ointment. Wherefore I say unto thee, Her sins, which are many, are forgiven; for she loved much: but to whom little is forgiven, the same loveth little.”

I love this true story that Jesus told. Pastor Jeff Redlin at Pensacola Christian College's (PCC) Campus Church reminds me of Simon the hypocrite in the Bible. Like Simon, Jeff Redlin loveth little because he has never gone into what some would term “deep sin.” It is obvious from this beautiful story that the woman was guilty of sexually immoral sins. She couldn't stop crying and washing Jesus' feet with her tears, and drying His feet with her hair, while Jeff Redlin sat there looking down on her.

When I attended Campus Church in 2021 Pastor Redlin mistreated me. I was suffering in physical pain from an old neck injury from 1992. I was lonely (my former wife divorced me in 2006) and I've lived alone reluctantly since. I was surviving out of a suitcase in a cheap motel in Pensacola, because I had just moved here from the island of Guam. My life was upside down when I sincerely contacted Pastor Redlin. It took my 5 hours to compose my email to him, wanting to carefully articulate my words and share my broken life with him. I was horrified when he couldn't have cared less about anything I said. He actually scolded me, a complete stranger to him, for making a brief mention that I hoped to find a wife at Campus Church.

I was so hurt be Pastor Redlin's cold-heartedness and abuse that I left the church. He couldn't have cared less, as is true of Pharisees. It is tragic that PCC leadership hired such a shallow, incompetent and heartless man to spiritually influence their thousands of students. No wonder our churches are pathetic, our nation is failing and people are leaving the churches by the droves to find God. PCC is a cult! You are required to dot your i's and cross your t's, and walk a very find line in submission to cult authority at PCC, or they will axe you like a turkey on Thanksgiving Day!

After I left Campus Church I criticized their pastors on social media, for not caring about broken people like me. Their hateful response from Campus Church and PCC was to completely ignore me for 6 weeks. I got upset by their hatred and decided to criticize them some more. Only at that time on August 2, 2022 did their shameful pastor Jeff Redlin email me to inform me that I am permanently banned from attending Campus Church. This is the type of hateful hypocrite that are running the Bible colleges today Bob Jones University is just as bad. 

Therefore, PCC's enemies are my friends. I stand with Samantha Field (who says she was raped at PCC as one of their abused female students). PCC has shunned and blamed her, which doesn't come as a surprise in lieu of how horribly they have mistreated me as a hurting sinner. PCC are cold hearted jerks! The cult system always comes first at PCC, but individual people do not matter. I have heard that allegation from countless of their former students.

PCC has never learned that hatred only begets more hatred. What is their problem? Jesus told us in Luke 7:40-47, they woefully lack love because they've not been forgiven of much. They are snobby and self-righteous at PCC, full of themselves. Like perverse Hollywood, PCC falls all over themselves with self praise and self glorification. The adage is true: Tyranny is rarely seen except by those who are oppressed by it.

Most people have no need for love from PCC, so they don't see the abusive problem there. But ask Allen Armentrout, a former PCC senior who was kicked out of school for being patriotic in Virginia. Ask Peter Gage, a former student whom PCC deeply hurt and even sued for $100,000. Real great Christians, huh? PCC only cares about protecting their public image and getting their way, but they couldn't care less about anyone as an individual human being. I am living proof of that. As long as the tens of millions of dollars continue to flow into their accursed cult, they will never start caring.

Dr. Hyles practically gives the address of Pensacola Christian College at 250 Brent Lane in Pensacola. The leaders at PCC are a bunch of self-righteous Pharisees who have never truly suffered a day in their life. They don't know what it feels like to have your spouse abandon and divorce you against your will, and then be told be a bunch of hateful hypocrites at PCC that you can never get remarried. Yet they go home and enjoy their spouses, while you languish in loneliness and misery. What rotten people! For someone who is suffering in bodily pain, and hurting in inexplicable emotional pain of soul, PCC are ungodly monsters.

I cannot warn everyone enough to RUN FROM THIS PLACE!!! They attempt to drown out the cry of their victims at PCC with their orchestras and singing, but God hears the cries of their many victims. I will never shut up about the abusive cult at PCC. They need to be exposed for their woeful lack of love for hurting people. In 2022 I kindly gave Pastor Redlin and PCC my mobile phone number and pleaded to reconcile with their church family, but they wickedly refused. Only cults selectively care about people. There is NO LOVE OR COMPASSION at Pensacola Christian College. As I type, PCC and Campus Church have my contact information, but they still refuse to make peace. In hindsight, I am thankful, because I have since learned that PCC is preaching a counterfeit Gospel.

God hears their arrogant laughing at PCC, seeing that they refuse to love hurting people; but the table will one day be turned on them. You cannot ignore hurting victims, and mistreat people, and think that you'll get away with it forever. God will not be mocked. The Bible warns that you will someday reap what you have sown (Galatians 6:7). If I had my way, PCC would go out of the religious business permanently. The sooner the better! The sooner that we rid our churches, homes and schools of the phony type of hateful Christianity that PCC promotes, the better off our country will be. SHAME on Pensacola Christian College and their fake church!

Jesus rebuked Simon for his lack of love, because he looked down on the sinful woman. Likewise, they look down on me as a divorced man at PCC. God sees their religious hypocrisy and woeful lack of love or compassion. I am the biggest sinner I know. I have been forgiven by God of much sins, and I'm going to love everyone, regardless of whether they love me back or not. That is the heart of our great God and Savior. I thank God that I am not a part of their hateful Pharisaical cult at PCC, a good ole boy network of religious thugs and vengeful jerks.

The religious snobs who run PCC and Campus Church have never been drunk. They've never commit adultery. They've never been arrested and faced criminal charges, locked in a jail cell or incarcerated in prison for decades. They've never used illegal drugs, been homeless or murdered someone. They've never stolen from their employer, cheated on their taxes, or had premarital sex, et cetera. So, they woefully lack God's love and forgiveness for others, because they have never experienced the depth of God's mercy and grace as a guilty sinner. Oh sure, they think they understand God's grace, but they truly do not. Until you've hit rock bottom in life, shunned by society as an evildoer, you cannot even begin to comprehend God's grace.

In the Old Testament, king David murdered Uriah to hide his sin of adultery with Uriah's wife, Bathsheba. David unintentionally impregnanted her. He wickedly tried to lure Uriah to sleep with his own wife, but he was such a dedicate soldier and a good guy, that he refused to enjoy his wife while his brothers in arms were still fighting on the battlefield. In shar[ contrast, David was a scumbag of human flesh.

One of David's worst enemies in the Bible is Ahithophel, the grandfather of Bathsheba, who wanted to kill David. You can't blame him after what David did to murder Uriah and destroy their marriage. David was a horrible wicked man! Yet, God in His mercy forgave David. Albeit, David didn't get away with his sin, he paid for it dearly for the rest of his life, and so did his entire family in Israel. Oh how the Devil is a beautiful liar! Sin will always take you farther than you wanted to go, keep you longer than you planned to stay, and cost you more than you intended to pay. The Devil's apples all have worms!

But in all this, David learned compassion. David saw a new side of God's grace that he hadn't seen before, because now he was living the Blues himself. There's an old adage which says: You cannot sing the Blues until you've lived the blues! That is very true. PCC have never lived the blues! They have no genuine comprehension of God's forgiving grace, for if they did they would love and embrace hurting people like me and Samantha Field, not shun us away.

We need a revival across the United States of loving hurting people. You sure won't find any love at PCC, BJU or other so-called “fundamentalist” authoritarian abuse places. They have become so accustomed to the machinery that generates tons of money, that they've lost sight of the true purpose of the ministry, which is to help broken people in Jesus' name. I am in the salvaging business. Anybody who knows me knows that for the past 22 years of website ministry, I am one of very, very few preachers who will take hours to write you back with a sincere outpouring of my heart to help you with God's love. I care! PCC doesn't care. The way we treat others quickly shows whether we care or not.

I sincerely love you dear reader, whoever you may be. I am not a respecter of persons. Our great God and Savior loves you, more than you or I could ever comprehend, so much that He sacrificed His life on Calvary's cross to pay our massive debt of sin. What a precious Savior!!!

The Sackler Family Are Not To Blame For OxyContin Deaths

I have been listening for several years to society beat up on the Sackler family, who own the Purdue Pharma company that makes the drug Oxycontin, since 1996.

As a chronic pain sufferer myself, I have been prescribed the drug OxyContin since 2010, after my second neck surgery. I like the drug. It is a time-release drug that lasts for 12 hours. The drug is mild on my system, and doesn't have the severe withdrawal effects of other pain drugs like Dilaudid, Morphine Sulfate and Percocet. Perhaps that is because it is a time-release pill. Albeit, I really appreciate the medication to help alleviate my neck pain.

Over the past 20 years, upward of one million Americans have died from opiate drugs. But most of these deaths have been caused by Fentanyl, a deadly drug that is 50 times more powerful than Morphine. I refuse to take Fentanyl. About 10 years ago my former doctor prescribed a 25 MCG patch of Fentanyl. That is the closest I've eve come to feeling drunk. I don't drink booze, so I don't know what it feels like to get drunk. But I do know that the Fentanyl affected me in ways that I never want to feel again. It is a powerful drug, not in good ways. Please avoid Fentanyl.

What the critics of OxyContin all refuse to admit, while suing the Sackler family, is that their loved ones who died while taking OxyContin were abusing the drug. They took too much, or recklessly took it with other drugs not prescribed to them, or drank alcohol while taking the drug (which overrides the time-release function), et cetera. I have been taking OxyContin responsibly since 2010, and I've never had any close calls, Emergency Room visits or problems using the helpful medication.

If you go buy a circular saw at HomeDepot and then cut your hand off while drunk, do you have a right to sue Craftsman, Makita or Milwaukee? Is it their fault that you got hurt using their saw, because you didn't use it in a safe manner? No, it is not their fault in any way. What? Now companies must install breathalyzer safety locks on their power tools? We've gone insane in the United States.

I am listening to the inspired King James Bible while working, as I often do. We all need to hear from God's Word every day. I am listening to the Gospel of Luke. I just heard the true story of the man who was demon possessed and out of his mind. He set himself on fire. The towns people had bound him with chains, but he broke free. He roamed around naked, night and day, totally insane. Let me say dear reader, that the insanity we are seeing in American society today is sourced in demonic spirits. The filth of Hollywood, the wickedness of Sin City Las Vegas, the insanity of transgenderism and the blatant corruption in our government have all been inspired by demons. The sinful human spirit is influenced by demonic spirits. That is why my favorite Scripture for many years has been Proverbs 4:23, “Keep thy heart with all diligence; for out of it are the issues of life.”

Like Adam blamed Eve whom God made for him (Adam was also blaming God), and Eve blamed the serpent who beguiled her, so also do humans by nature blame others for our failures and bad choices in life. This is especially true of today's younger generations. I once heard a young woman horribly blame her parents for not giving her more attention as a child, which she attributed as the cause of her social awkwardness. What an ingrate! Don't you dare blame your Mom and Dad for your shortcomings in life. The old adage is very true: You've got nobody to blame except yourself.

The Sackler family has refused to cave into legal and political pressure from alleged “victims” of deceased loved ones who died while taking OxyContin. It is not their fault. If you properly use the drug as specified by your doctor, then you won't die. Granted, there are always extremely rare instances of death while taking prescription medications, but they are super rare. Ninety-nine percent of the people dying from opiate drugs are overdosing deliberately to get buzzed. That is not the fault of the Sackler family!!! You're an idiot if you abuse the drug, that's the problem!

I saw ruthless angry family members holding up photos of their dead loved ones. I heard their angry words directed at the Sacklers. Of course, they all want millions of dollars in damages, with their scum of the earth lawyers standing next to them. People are so foolish and predictable. The families are claiming that OxyContin is addictive, which the Sacklers knew but didn't disclose. I've been taking OxyContin for 14 years, since 2010. I've never been addicted. I have taken as much as 140 mg per day. Unfortunately, the state of Florida doesn't care about suffering people, so I can't get more than 40 mg a day now, which is almost useless.

We've got a bunch of idiots making our laws, who know nothing about drugs. Evidently they aren't listening to the people who do either, or else they wouldn't be overreacting as they are to the opiate death epidemic. All they need to do is make it harder to obtain the drugs. I am willing to jump through whatever hoops I need to jump through to get the amount of OxyContin that I need, but the government doesn't care, so I suffer needlessly. Our government (federal and state) are grossly incompetent! They are like children who have found their father's loaded gun and have no idea what they are doing. It is blatantly clear from seeing the open borders, children intentionally being confused about their gender, a needless epidemic of poverty and homelessness nationwide, widespread drug abuse, deplorable filth and uncleanliness in our cities, thousands of mass-shootings nationwide and all the other ills in American society today, that this is all deliberately being done to destroy our nation.

Ultimately we are all to blame for tolerating this craziness. Just like prescription drug abusers and their families blame the drug manufacturers instead of themselves, so also do people blame God for their problematic life. God wrote the inspired Holy Bible to show us how to live. He gave us an instruction book to guide us through the mountains and valleys of life. Yet, people refuse to follow or even read God's instruction book, and then when their life turns to ruin they blame God for not caring about them. Whose fault is it really? That's right, ours!

Until we stop blaming others for our failures in life, we cannot grow. The Sacklers and OxyContin are not the problem, the people who abuse the drug are to blame!

Beware Of Matt Slick's Damnable Counterfeit Gospel

Galatians 1:6-8, “I marvel that ye are so soon removed from him that called you into the grace of Christ unto another gospel: Which is not another; but there be some that trouble you, and would pervert the gospel of Christ. But though we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel unto you than that which we have preached unto you, let him be accursed.”

We are surrounded today by false teachers. They are in the churches. They are on social media. They author books. They produce religious documentaries and movies. If a man is wrong on repentance and the Gospel, then we cannot trust any of his theology. Matt Slick is the president of CARM (Christian Apologetics and Research Ministry).

I read a heretical blog today by Matt Slick titled, “What Is Lordship Salvation And Is It Biblical?” Matt states:

...If lordship salvation is meant to say that a person must believe the Gospel and also repent of sin in order to be saved, then it is teaching that salvation is not by faith alone in Christ alone. Instead, it would be by faith and also the act of turning from sin as a person makes Jesus Lord of "all" of his life. In other words, salvation is obtained by faith in God and turning from sin——which amounts to keeping the Law. This would be, of course, false. Now, we are not saying a person need not repent from his sins. Instead, repentance is the result of God's regenerative work in us. Let me explain.

The position of CARM is that regeneration precedes faith the way electricity precedes light in a lightbulb. The order is logical——not temporal. Electricity must be present for light to occur in a lightbulb, but it's not true that light must be present in order for electricity to occur. We would say that whenever electricity is present in a lightbulb, the automatic and natural result is light. The electricity is "logically" prior to the light——not temporally prior. In other words, it is logically necessary that electricity precedes the light; and when electricity is present, light is also present.

With this analogy, I think it is easier to understand that it is God who regenerates us (2 Corinthians 5:17; 1 Peter 1:3; John 1:13) and that the necessary result of His regenerative work in us is our faith and repentance. God grants that we believe (Philippians 1:29) and grants that we repent (2 Timothy 2:25). Therefore, our position is that repentance is a necessary result of God's work in us (yet it's also something that we do). The issue of Lordship salvation incorrectly addresses the order of salvation by implying that faith leads to regeneration, which leads to repentance. I believe this mistakenly puts the focus on man's ability instead of God's work, and this is where the error of Lordship salvation arises. The truth is that we are saved by grace alone, through faith alone, in Christ alone. Repentance from sin is the result of salvation——not a contributing factor to it. SOURCE

If it is God who grants us repentance (2 Timothy 2:25) and faith (Philippians 1:29), then there is no room for the Lordship salvation controversy. Instead, we understand that the Lordship of Christ and our repentance are both the natural result of the work of God—not the work of our faith and repentance.

Kindly said, Matt is preaching the Devil's lie of Calvinism. He falsely claims that God does everything. If that were true, then what would be the purpose of repentance (i.e., a change of mind). If a man cannot change his mind unless God causes it, then where is freewill? How could a man choose to trust Christ if he cannot do so without God intervening first? I like how Pastor Harry Ironside (1876-1951) explains it:

“Which comes first, repentance or faith? In Scripture we read, 'Repent ye, and believe the gospel.' Yet we find true believers exhorted to 'repent, and do the first works.' So intimately are the two related that you cannot have one without the other. The man who believes God repents; the repentant soul puts his trust in the Lord when the Gospel is revealed to him. Theologians may wrangle over this, but the fact is, no man repents until the Holy Spirit produces repentance in his soul through the truth. No man believes the Gospel and rests in it for his own salvation until he has judged himself as a needy sinner before God. And this is repentance.” ('Except Ye Repent,' p. 16)

This is what Jesus meant in John 6:44, “No man can come to me, except the Father which hath sent me draw him: and I will raise him up at the last day.” John 12:32, “And I, if I be lifted up from the earth, will draw all men unto me.” Calvinists love to take these passages of of context. The Bible is not doing away with freewill. Jesus simply meant that the Holy Spirit convicts lost sinners of sin, righteousness and judgment (John 16:8).

Titus 2:11-14, “For the grace of God that bringeth salvation hath appeared to all men, Teaching us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly, in this present world; Looking for that blessed hope, and the glorious appearing of the great God and our Saviour Jesus Christ; Who gave himself for us, that he might redeem us from all iniquity, and purify unto himself a peculiar people, zealous of good works.”

What Matt Slick is foolishly preaching is that if you are saved, then God will automatically cause you to turn away from your sinning and follow Christ as the Lord of your life. It is nothing short of blaming God for the heresy of Lordship Salvation!

One of my favorite sermons by Pastor Jack Hyles is titled, "Your Salvation Did Not Change You A Bit." When you get born-again (saved), the ONLY thing you receive is the gift of the indwelling Holy Spirit. Your character is still the same after you are saved, as it was before you were saved. When you receive Jesus Christ as your personal Savior, there is a transfer of ownership from Satan to God. You're now a child of the King!

But dear friend, just because you get saved doesn't mean your behavior will improve. I am so sick of this heresy in churches today, which says you're not saved unless you're behavior has changed. Pensacola Christian College teaches that Satanic garbage. Kindly, Matt Slick is wrong. He is errantly teaching a backdoor approach to Lordship Salvation. God doesn't repent for us. God doesn't force a Christian to follow Christ as his or her Lord.

And furthermore, regeneration does not precede faith as Matt teaches. You are born-again (regenerated) the moment you put your trust in the Lamb of God, not before. Paul Washer teaches the same junk theology that you must be regenerated before there is faith. That is unbiblical. 2nd Timothy 2:25-26, “In meekness instructing those that oppose themselves; if God peradventure will give them repentance to the acknowledging of the truth; And that they may recover themselves out of the snare of the devil, who are taken captive by him at his will.” Carefully notice that the Bible teaches repentance is to acknowledge the truth, not turn away from your sins. Woe unto pastors who pervert God's simple plan of salvation by embellishing the Gospel.

Don't Corrupt The Gospel To Try To Force People To Live Right

Here is: 'The Crystal Clear Gospel Of Jesus Christ.' I highly recommend for you to read “I NEVER KNEW YOU” by my ministry friend, Michael P. Bowen. This book is a brilliant defense of the free grace Gospel. Please don't allow some suave false prophet to lead you astray from the true Gospel. Following Christ as your “Lord” has absolutely nothing to do with the new birth. It is a matter of discipleship (service), not of justification (salvation). It is the job of the local church to convert the lives of redeemed sinners, to make them useful to serve God.

The reason why millions of saved people are sitting idle at home today instead of serving God in the churches, is simply because pastors have failed to teach their congregation to mentor new converts. We need to invite people to come to church and then put them to work serving God. Sadly, when you attend 99% of churches today, you sit there and go home week after week, but there are no ministries to get involved serving God. There is no scheduled time to go soulwinning. There is no nursing home ministry. There is no sailor ministry. There is no public school ministry. There is no prison ministry. There is no truck-stop ministry. There is no bus ministry. When I attended Hyles-Anderson College between 1985 to 1993, the First Baptist Church of Hammond, Indiana, had 114 MINISTRIES!!! Praise God!

We don't need to corrupt the simplicity that is in Christ (which is the Gospel) to get people to live right. Pastors need to stop being lazy and teach their people to get busy for God. If churches have ministries, then people will come and get involved. I'm tired of attending McDonald's type churches. That is, you go in to get your stuff and then leave, and come back next time. There are no ministries to get involved. It is no secret why the First Baptist Church of Hammond under Dr. Jack Hyles' leadership from 1959 to 2001 grew to a membership of over 125,000 people! Those 114 soulwinning ministries work!

Preachers need to stop tampering with the Gospel. You get saved by trusting Jesus as your Savior, receiving His sacrifice on the cross as full payment for your sins, believing that He was buried but then resurrected bodily three days later. This is the Gospel (1st Corinthians 15:1-4). But just because you get saved doesn't guarantee that you will turn from your sinful bad habits, nor that you will follow Christ as the “Lord” of your life. We all continue living in sin, every last one of us (Romans 7:14-25).

I heard a great sermon today from 1979 by Pastor Jack Hyles called, "Don't Kick A Man When He Is Down." What a beautiful message! The very idea that getting saved will somehow guarantee you'll become less of a sinner is flawed. The only thing different after you get saved is that now you have God's Holy Spirit living inside of you, convicting you of the sin in your life. If you choose to walk in the Spirit, then you will depart from iniquity and live to please God. You will still falter daily and commit sin. We all do, even the best saints! But there are plenty of believers who choose not to walk in the Spirit, and they live carnal lives of gross immorality and wickedness (e.g., Lot, David, Esau, Samson, Solomon, Demas, Ananias and Sapphira, Peter, the couple fornicating in the church at Corinth, et cetera).

If pastors who stop playing church and start preaching against sin as they used to, we'd see revival across the nation. There is nothing wrong with the free grace Gospel, the problem today are corrupt pastors!
