It Really Does Matter Which Bible You Use

2nd Corinthians 2:17, “For we are not as many, which corrupt the word of God: but as of sincerity, but as of God, in the sight of God speak we in Christ.”

The preceding text Bible verse has been corrupted in every modern Bible version. See for yourself:
KING JAMES BIBLE — 2nd Corinthians 2:17, “For we are not as many, which corrupt the word of God: but as of sincerity, but as of God, in the sight of God speak we in Christ.” [emphasis added]

NEW INTERNATIONAL READER'S VERSION (NIRV) — 2nd Corinthians 2:17, “Unlike many people, we aren’t selling God’s word to make money. In fact, it is just the opposite. Because of Christ we speak honestly before God. We speak like people God has sent.”

NEW INTERNATIONAL VERSION (NIV) - 2nd Corinthians 2:17, “Unlike so many, we do not peddle the word of God for profit. On the contrary, in Christ we speak before God with sincerity, as those sent from God.”
Biblica (formerly the International Bible Society) and Zondervan sell Bibles to make money! So according to their own corrupt translations, they are doing evil by selling the Scriptures! Honestly, is it a sin to sell Bibles? No, it is a sin to CORRUPT the inspired Word of God, as the King James Bible accurately warns.

The following comparison between different Bible versions speaks 1,000 words, which should silence honest critics. ...

Bible Corrupted To Obtain A legal U.S. Copyright

A sincere man on Facebook critiqued me recently, saying that we should be focused on winning souls and not bickering over which Bible to use; but that is the whole point I kindly told him, because the Devil's modern Bible revisions change and pervert the meaning of "repent" (and in so doing change and corrupt God's simple plan of salvation). Jesus Christ came into the world to die on a cross to pay our debt of sin (Romans 5:6-9; 2nd Corinthians 5:21), He doesn't demand that we forsake our sinful bad habits as a prerequisite to receiving God's free gift of forgiveness of  those sins.

Yet, tragically, in nearly every church today (sadly this includes so-called “independent fundamental Baptist” churches), we hear the pastor foolishly teaching that you cannot go to Heaven unless you repent “of your sins or turn from your sins” (phrases nowhere found in the Holy Bible). This is a counterfeit plan of salvation, which does not match what the King James Bible teaches. I encourage you dear reader to read Michael P. Bowen's helpful book titled: 'I NEVER KNEW YOU' in defense of the true Gospel. It is one of my favorite books.

The ugly blatant truth friend is that Satan has corrupted today's Bible revisions to hinder people from being born-again. Satan's greatest weapon in his arsenal is to con people into living the Christian life without ever being born again. For example:
KING JAMES BIBLE (KJB) — Mark 1:15, “And saying, The time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God is at hand: ๐—ฟ๐—ฒ๐—ฝ๐—ฒ๐—ป๐˜ ๐˜†๐—ฒ, and believe the gospel.” [emphasis added]

EASY-TO-READ VERSION (ERV) — Mark 1:15, “He said, “The right time is now here. God’s kingdom is very near. ๐—–๐—ต๐—ฎ๐—ป๐—ด๐—ฒ ๐˜†๐—ผ๐˜‚๐—ฟ ๐—ต๐—ฒ๐—ฎ๐—ฟ๐˜๐˜€ ๐—ฎ๐—ป๐—ฑ ๐—น๐—ถ๐˜ƒ๐—ฒ๐˜€, and believe the Good News!” [emphasis added]
Is that how we get saved, by changing our hearts and lives? No, it is not.

Here's another example, this time from the New Life Version (NLV):
KING JAMES BIBLE (KJB) - Mark 1:15, “And saying, The time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God is at hand: ๐—ฟ๐—ฒ๐—ฝ๐—ฒ๐—ป๐˜ ๐˜†๐—ฒ, and believe the gospel.”

NEW LIFE VERSION (NLV) - Mark 1:15, “He said, 'The time has come. The holy nation of God is near. ๐—•๐—ฒ ๐˜€๐—ผ๐—ฟ๐—ฟ๐˜† ๐—ณ๐—ผ๐—ฟ ๐˜†๐—ผ๐˜‚๐—ฟ ๐˜€๐—ถ๐—ป๐˜€, ๐˜๐˜‚๐—ฟ๐—ป ๐—ณ๐—ฟ๐—ผ๐—บ ๐˜๐—ต๐—ฒ๐—บ, and believe the Good News.'”
Does a lost sinner have to be sorry (an emotion) for sins, and turn from them, to get to Heaven? No, you won't find that nonsense in an inspired King James Bible. Feeling sorry for sin is penitence, not repentance. Making a mend for sin is penance, not repentance. Changing one's behavior is reformation, not Bible repentance.

Here's another comparison:
KING JAMES BIBLE (KJB) — Hebrews 6:1, “Therefore leaving the principles of the doctrine of Christ, let us go on unto perfection; not laying again the foundation of ๐—ฟ๐—ฒ๐—ฝ๐—ฒ๐—ป๐˜๐—ฎ๐—ป๐—ฐ๐—ฒ ๐—ณ๐—ฟ๐—ผ๐—บ ๐—ฑ๐—ฒ๐—ฎ๐—ฑ ๐˜„๐—ผ๐—ฟ๐—ธ๐˜€, and of faith toward God.” [emphasis added]

EASY-TO-READ VERSION (ERV) — “So we should be finished with the beginning lessons about Christ. We should not have to keep going back to where we started. We began our new life ๐—ฏ๐˜† ๐˜๐˜‚๐—ฟ๐—ป๐—ถ๐—ป๐—ด ๐—ฎ๐˜„๐—ฎ๐˜† ๐—ณ๐—ฟ๐—ผ๐—บ ๐˜๐—ต๐—ฒ ๐—ฒ๐˜ƒ๐—ถ๐—น ๐˜„๐—ฒ ๐—ฑ๐—ถ๐—ฑ ๐—ถ๐—ป ๐˜๐—ต๐—ฒ ๐—ฝ๐—ฎ๐˜€๐˜ and by believing in God.” [emphasis added]
If I had my way, the people responsible for this butchery of God's Word would be behind bars in prison for a long time, and also every pastor who corrupts people's minds with these trashy perverted translations. RIGHT DOCTRINE MATTERS!!! No honest person can claim that it just doesn't matter which Bible we use. Argue as many still may, the following comparison charts (as well as the comparisons I have just shown you), should settle the matter for any honest observer.
