Greedy Companies Want To Center Your Life Around Materialism

1st Timothy 6:5-11, “Perverse disputings of men of corrupt minds, and destitute of the truth, supposing that gain is godliness: from such withdraw thyself. But godliness with contentment is great gain. For we brought nothing into this world, and it is certain we can carry nothing out. And having food and raiment let us be therewith content. But they that will be rich fall into temptation and a snare, and into many foolish and hurtful lusts, which drown men in destruction and perdition. For the love of money is the root of all evil: which while some coveted after, they have erred from the faith, and pierced themselves through with many sorrows. But thou, O man of God, flee these things; and follow after righteousness, godliness, faith, love, patience, meekness.”

We live in a very wicked materialistic culture in America. I was looking at mandolins the other day, seeing what kind of mandolin I might like to but. Now, I decided to take a few moments to go search the internet for mandolins. I made that choice to just spend about 15 minutes looking at mandolins. Specifically, I typed in the Eastman MD 515 mandolin, which is a superior quality mandolin made in Beijing, China. It costs about $1,200. An equivalent American made mandolin costs between $5,000 to $8,000!

Now, that was over a week ago that I looked at mandolins. Today I was working on my website ministry, reading news about a wicked church in Florida that held a children's drag show. On that Fox News webpage, here is what they dangled in my face today...

That greatly offends me! It offends me that greedy companies are trying to center my life around materialism. They are trying to force me to think about a mandolin model that I was interested in purchasing. You see, they have spent tens of millions of dollars in the advertising business to analyze people's spending habits. It is called, “Predictive Analytics.” They use this data to predict consumer behavior in order to manipulate people to get their money! It is very unethical to follow, monitor and harass a person to purchase things!!! That is how rotten, greedy, selfish and unethical American society has deteriorated to nowadays.

Proverbs 28:20, “A faithful man shall abound with blessings: but he that maketh haste to be rich shall not be innocent.”

In the old days, businesses were all closed on Sunday in the United States. In fact, most business owners pulled down their store shades, to prevent people from Sunday window shopping. Our country a century ago was a much better place than it is today, morally and ethically. Sin always undermines a nation! Evil always begets more evil. Our society didn't get into this mess overnight, and it won't be remedied overnight. It took decades of abuse, neglect and wicked decisions to turn our nation into the cesspool of iniquity that it is today.

American society has become so rotten, greedy and unethical that businesses today couldn't care less about taking advantage of people in every way possible. In 2018 when I visited the sunny city of Pensacola in Florida, I was ripped off at the airport by a car rental agency. I cannot remember the name of the company, but they are all the same! I rented a $25 car for three days. After they added taxes, insurance and feeds, I ended up paying $72 per day!!! If that wasn't bad enough, after three days I needed the car for one more day. So I called the phone number on my rental contract. The thuggish woman who answered the phone was an ungodly person. She demanded $288 for the week. But I told her I only needed the car for one more day. She said I had entered into a “weekly rate,” so even if I only needed the car for just one more day, she said it would still cost me $288. Folks, that is the Devil!

I could write for hours about the greed of our rotten American culture today! The Golden Rule is virtually non-existent in American culture today. Matthew 7:12, “Therefore all things whatsoever ye would that men should do to you, do ye even so to them: for this is the law and the prophets.” That is The Golden Rule. We ought to treat other people the same way that we want to be treated. Would you want someone to take advantage of you? No, you wouldn't. God will judge these ungodly company owners (and their complicit employees) in eternity one day, judging them by their own crooked standards (Matthew 7:1-2). Hundreds of millions of dishonest, deceitful and crooked sinners will someday in eternity accuse God of being the same, but He will just be recompensing evil for evil (Romans 12:19-21). Vengeance is the Lord's! If you hurt people in this lifetime, God will hurt you in the next! If you are unsaved, your Hell will become hotter. If you are a child of God, then you had better make things right with those whom you have hurt, or else God will have to do it for them (1st Thessalonians 4:6; 1st Corinthians 11:31; Matthew 7:1-2; Romans 14:10-12).

It utterly disgusts me that hellish greedy companies today are using cookies to track, monitor and harass me everywhere I go on the internet. I've tried turning off my cookies, which prevented other websites from working. It becomes too burdensome, having to individually set your preferences for each and every website you view. These rotten ungodly companies are so greedy that they couldn't care less about being ethical (i.e., doing the right thing), they ONLY care about making money.

Many people have sold their souls to the Devil, and they have also SOLD YOU by selling YOUR PERSONAL DATA for money to the highest bidder! It makes me sick. If I had my way, there would be lengthy prison sentences for these internet tracking greedy unethical criminals. I shouldn't have to create accounts and spend hours upon hours of my time trying to STOP THESE UNGODLY BANDITS from following me with cookies, watching everything I look at and tracking everywhere I go, so they can manipulate my surfing habits and hound me day and night to buy an item that I viewed but chose not to buy, LAST MONTH!!! They are ungodly people, who have ungodly morals, and live ungodly lives!

I really like Jude (the son of Mary and Joseph; and half-brother of Jesus, whose Father is God) in the Bible, who said:

Jude 1:15, “To execute judgment upon all, and to convince all that are ungodly among them of all their ungodly deeds which they have ungodly committed, and of all their hard speeches which ungodly sinners have spoken against him.”

I love that! Four times Jude uses the word “ungodly” to get his point across. These were “ungodly” sinners, with their “ungodly” deeds, which they have “ungodly” committed, attempting to justify their ungodliness with hard speeches!!! Likewise, these “ungodly” companies today, with their “ungodly” greedy exploitative business practices, committing their “ungodly” deeds are of the Devil.

I have come to the sad conclusion that there is nothing that we can do to stop these “ungodly” sinners from selling us into advertising slavery online. If you use the internet, either you will have to spend ridiculous amounts of time continually fighting the stop these “ungodly” sinners from taking over your life online, or you will have to stop using the internet! Of course, there is a third option, which is what I am doing, I just ignore them! I took the time to write this one blog, to expose these “ungodly” reprobates, but they are not worth my time.

As a general rule, I NEVER buy anything from “Click Bait.” These unscrupulous companies and individuals today, who resort to thug tactics to make more filthy lucre, will give account to God one day for sinfully tracking, annoying, hounding and hurting people with their unethical “ungodly” practices rooted in “ungodly” greed. The LOVE OF MONEY is the root of all evil (1st Timothy 6:10-11).

I suffer from stenosis and radiculitis in my neck (since 2004), from an old accident at work, which causes me constant horrible neck pain, which radiates into my arms and legs intermittently, and I feel constant numbness, arms feeling inflated with air, and irritating burning throughout my body's nervous system. Consequently, I don't have much patience with anything, especially “ungodly” people who exploit me online. It is truly pathetic and sad. I would rather be manipulated and exploited by “ungodly” sinners, than to spend all my time trying to stop them, and in the process making my online experience even more unpleasant, and limiting my ability to search the internet without restraints. This is the damage that these “ungodly” people cause, by their “ungodly” deeds, which they have “ungodly” committed. Woe unto the United States!!!
