UNC-Chapel Hill officials canceled classes Tuesday after police investigated multiple reports of suicide since the start of classes this fall.
“We are in the middle of a mental health crisis, both on our campus and across our nation, and we are aware that college-aged students carry an increased risk of suicide,” UNC-Chapel Hill Chancellor Kevin Guskiewicz said in a statement. “This crisis has directly impacted members of our community – especially with the passing of two students on campus in the past month.”“At Carolina, we strive to put our students first in everything we do. We are living in a world that is constantly shifting and changing. We are facing major challenges and the ongoing toll this takes on our health cannot be underestimated. We have lost our souls in America over the past century. Sin is no longer viewed as sin. Wrong is no longer considered wrong. People have become indifferent, cold and uncaring. Why should it be surprising that our impressionable youth are committing suicide across the nation, when we have raised them up in reprobate schools that have taught them the blatant lies of Evolution, situation ethics, new age mumbo-jumbo, secular humanism and perverse sex education? I'm just surprised that people aren't more messed up than they are today! Oh wait, they are really messed up!
You cannot teach a child that they evolved from two space rocks which collided billions of years ago to form the earth and moon; and then ice crystals from billions of asteroids crashed into those rocks to form the oceans and rivers; and somehow life formed and evolved into intelligent human beings who can compose music, write poems and believe in a divine God who doesn't exist; and seriously expect that warped mind to grow up to be a responsible moral person. All across the country young people are doing drugs, getting tattooed, partaking in premarital sex, their confused about gender and are committing suicide. Meanwhile our INSANE society still refuses to acknowledge the righteous God of the Holy Bible.
The answer is local New Testament churches preaching the Gospel. Without Jesus Christ a person is hopeless. Education is not the answer, contrary to what we hear from the heathen world. Raising public awareness is not the answer. Until people come to Jesus Christ they will continue to walk in darkness. John 12:35, “Then Jesus said unto them, Yet a little while is the light with you. Walk while ye have the light, lest darkness come upon you: for he that walketh in darkness knoweth not whither he goeth.” Without Jesus Christ the world will continue to walk in darkness, knowing not whither they go. ...
1st Corinthians 1:18-21, “For the preaching of the cross is to them that perish foolishness; but unto us which are saved it is the power of God. For it is written, I will destroy the wisdom of the wise, and will bring to nothing the understanding of the prudent. Where is the wise? where is the scribe? where is the disputer of this world? hath not God made foolish the wisdom of this world? For after that in the wisdom of God the world by wisdom knew not God, it pleased God by the foolishness of preaching to save them that believe.”
The reason why so many college kids are committing suicide is because the world does not love them! Satan hates you young person! Singer, Taylor Swift hates you! The ungodly infidels who teach you Evolution hate you! They hate God and truth. Nobody loves you who leads you astray from the truth of God's Word. If the people who run the schools really loved the children, then they would want what is best for them. Depriving a child of the Holy Bible is the most destructive thing you can do to a child. We've allowed 1% of atheists to drive God out of our children's lives at school, raising up a wicked generation of heathens!!! The Devil did that ON PURPOSE! Parents, please do not enroll your child into the Devil's public fool system!
Teen suicides will continue to rise, because our wicked society is rebellious against the holy God of the Bible. Young people need the dear Savior!!! The world has never had the answers. Unsaved people don't know their right hand from their left (1st Corinthians 2:14). As believers we have a duty to preach the Gospel to the lost world, and to express God's unconditional love toward them, or else they will never come to Christ.
