Lord Help Me To Think Right, Live Right, And Do Right

2nd Corinthians 10:4-6, (For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strong holds;) Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ; And having in a readiness to revenge all disobedience, when your obedience is fulfilled.

Our text Bible passage teaches us how to overcome sin and live right. Our weapons of warfare as Christian believers are mighty THROUGH GOD! Philippians 4:13, “I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me.” Galatians 2:20, “I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me.Many new believers make the mistake of thinking they can live the Christian life in their own strength, but you cannot do that! It is important to understand that Christ lives through us as His saints. This the fruit of the Holy Spirit (Galatians 5:22-25). God does not give the fruit of the Spirit TO ME, but THROUGH ME to give TO YOU! Pastor Jack Hyles preaches a wonderful sermon about this very subject, titled: 'Thou Shalt Covet.'

Little pet sins can escalate into big life-destroying sins if we let them grow. America has all but forgotten the holy God of the Bible. Our public schools lie to children, indoctrinating them with the blatant fraud of evolution. Without the inspired Holy Bible, young people have no moral compass to guide them through life. The worst decision our U.S. government ever made, was to remove and ban the Holy Bible from children's daily lives at school since 1963. The consequences have been devastating and horrifying, just listen to the daily news! Our nation didn't become a mess overnight. Little by little the Devil has led our nation astray—one church at a time, one family at a time, one individual at a time! ...
“If you want to never do anything that is terribly wicked, then you never do anything that is slightly wicked.” —Pastor Jack Hyles
We need to have old-fashioned tent revivals all across America. If we can have nationwide RIOTS, then we can also have nationwide REVIVALS. There is no doubt whatsoever in my mind, that the recent riots over the murder of George Floyd were financed, organized and encouraged by the Illuminati (i.e., the Luciferian elite). Many people chuckle and laugh in scorn at what I just said, while overlooking the Masonic occult symbols on back of every U.S. one dollar bill. In your face America! I cannot control what those wicked people in secret do to destroy our society (Ephesians 6:12), but I can control what I do. I can pray (Philippians 4:6). I can contend for the faith (Jude 1:3). I can lively godly in Christ Jesus (2nd Timothy 3:12). I can live a life pleasing to God (2nd Timothy 2:4).

The inspired King James Bible is THE ANSWER!!! ...
“It is impossible to enslave, mentally or socially, a bible-reading people. The principles of the bible are the groundwork of human freedom.” —Horace Greeley
Sadly, we have become a nation of Bible ignoramuses in America! Today's adults are yesterday's youth! It's always important to do the right thing! I don't know about you dear friend, but I fear God and love everyone with God's love, and my heart's continual desire is to think right, live right, and do right at all times! If we do go into sin, it will only be because we CHOSE to. ...
James 1:12-15, Blessed is the man that endureth temptation: for when he is tried, he shall receive the crown of life, which the Lord hath promised to them that love him. Let no man say when he is tempted, I am tempted of God: for God cannot be tempted with evil, neither tempteth he any man: But every man is tempted, when he is drawn away of his own lust, and enticed. Then when lust hath conceived, it bringeth forth sin: and sin, when it is finished, bringeth forth death.
This is a very important Bible passage to become familiar with, and I suggest to memorize. Sin always begins with LUST. Then we are ENTICED (provoked by lust). If we let it play out, our lusts will lead to sin, and sin when it is finished bringeth forth DEATH. If you doubt that, please watch the popular TV series titled: Cold Cases Files” or “Forensic Files.” It saddens me to see evil things happen to anybody. Nobody deserves to be tortured, raped, robbed or murdered. The criminals who commit such evils didn't just turn evil overnight, there was a long process of wicked thinking. In the coming year I want to SAY less, SIN less and SIT less! I heard one of my favorite preachers, Pastor Danny Castle, preach that New Year's sermon in 2010. What great advice to live by!

I don't know about you, but even if the stars fall, by God's grace, I want to do right! I have enough to answer to God for, and so do you friend! The Bible says there is NONE righteousness, no not one (Romans 3:10). I was disappointed when Donald Trump refused to admit he is a sinner, when asked, during his 2016 presidential campaign. There is no shame in admitting to being human! I was disappointed because Mr. Trump professes to be a Christian, and the very core foundation of our Christian faith is that Jesus Christ came to save us from our sins (Luke 19:10).

My favorite Bible verse is Proverbs 4:23, Keep thy heart with all diligence; for out of it are the issues of life.Everyday we hear of people becoming victims, creating victims, and all manner of evil. These evil things proceed out from the human heart Jesus said. Matthew 15:18-19, “But those things which proceed out of the mouth come forth from the heart; and they defile the man. For out of the heart proceed evil thoughts, murders, adulteries, fornications, thefts, false witness, blasphemies:” That is why Proverbs 4:23 says, KEEP THY HEART; and that is why it is my favorite Bible verse, because we must always be on guard as believers! How do you keep your heart as a believer? I'm glad you asked my fine non-feathered friend.

How To Keep Thy Heart As A Christian:
  1. Maintain a Biblical mindset (John 5:39, “Search the scriptures; for in them ye think ye have eternal life: and they are they which testify of me.” 1st Corinthians 2:16, “For who hath known the mind of the Lord, that he may instruct him? But we have the mind of Christ.”)
  2. Immediately bring every wrong thought into compliance with God's Word (2nd Corinthians 10:5, “Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ;”
  3. Think About Good Things, And Avoid The Bad (Philippians 4:8, “Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things.” Avoid negative and ungodly people.)
  4. Choose Your Friends Wisely (Proverbs 1:10, “My son, if sinners entice thee, consent thou not.” 2nd Samuel 13:3a, “But Amnon had a friend.” That friend's name was Jonadab, who convinced Amnon to rape his own half sister.)
  5. Be Very Careful About The Advice You Give And Take (Esther 5:14, “Then said Zeresh his wife and all his friends unto him, Let a gallows be made of fifty cubits high, and tomorrow speak thou unto the king that Mordecai may be hanged thereon: then go thou in merrily with the king unto the banquet. And the thing pleased Haman; and he caused the gallows to be made.” That bad advice backfired, and instead Haman and his 10 sons were all hanged on those gallows. Zeresh was an ungodly wife, whose ungodly advice to her ungodly husband caused the execution of her 10 sons! So be careful what advice you give and take, because it could destroy your life and get your loved ones killed!)
  6. Maintain A Constant Spirit Of Thanksgiving Toward God (Colossians 1:3, “We give thanks to God and the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, praying always for you,” Being thankful to God leads men to obey the Gospel, and believers to live for Christ. Isaiah 17:10, “Because thou hast forgotten the God of thy salvation, and hast not been mindful of the rock of thy strength, therefore shalt thou plant pleasant plants, and shalt set it with strange slips:We only forget God when we stop being thankful.)
  7. Always Keep Your Eyes On Jesus! (Hebrews 12:2, “Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God.” Isaiah 45:22, “Look unto me, and be ye saved, all the ends of the earth: for I am God, and there is none else.”)
I love that... LOOKING UNTO JESUS!!! The Lord Himself is the Author and Finisher of our faith. An author is someone who creates a book. The author is not always the writer! For example: God authored the Holy Bible, but approximately 40 men penned it. Likewise, our Christian life is a book in progress, that we are writing, but God is the divine Author! Here's proof in Philippians 2:13, “For it is God which worketh in you both to will and to do of his good pleasure.Isn't that beautiful? God is the Author and Finisher of our faith, working in us both to will and to do of His will. Jesus is precious!!!
“A test of a Christian's character is what he does after he comes to the blockade in the road and what his attitude is after everything has left him except Jesus. You will never know down here that Christ is all you need until Christ is all you have left.” —Brother Lester Roloff (1914-1982)

To “Repent” Doesn't Mean To Forsake Sins, It Means “To Think Differently”

Mark 1:14-15, “Now after that John was put in prison, Jesus came into Galilee, preaching the gospel of the kingdom of God, And saying, The t...
