The cult of Calvinism has crept into the churches everywhere! Calvinism is named after a heretical lost man and religious heretic named John Calvin (1509-1564). According to the Huffington Post, 30% of all Southern Baptist churches are Calvinist! Moody Bible Institute calls themselves “generally Calvinistic” on their website. Moody college lies about Pastor Harry Ironside (1876-1951), trying to portray him as turning Calvinist, but nothing could be further from the truth. Dr. Ironside taught a free grace Gospel and in no way supported Calvinism.
One of the most ungodly cults is the Harvest Baptist Church on Guam. Instead of the Gospel of free grace, they promote Lordship Salvation (which is nothing more than Calvinism repackaged). I heard their senior pastor with my own two ears, God as my witness, tell the whole church that it is not enough to merely admit you are a sinner. He said you MUST also turn away from a lifestyle of sin to be saved. That is of the Devil. That pastor needs to get saved!!! You don't get saved by what YOU DO, but by what JESUS DID!!!
Calvinism is often summarized in FIVE tenets. One heresy begets another heresy, as you will see with the progression of Calvinism's tenets:
- Total Depravity
- Unconditional Election
- Limited Atonement
- Irresistible Grace
- Perseverance Of The Saints
Total Depravity - all men are depraved and cannot come to God unless they are drawn. I agree that all men are depraved, but unlike Calvinists who say God only draws certain men, the Bible plainly teaches that Jesus draws “ALL MEN” to Himself (John 12:32). Calvinism takes it to a heretical level, teaching that NO ONE is drawn unless chosen, which leads to the next heresy...
Unconditional Election - The Bible teaches that God in His foreknowledge knew who would get saved, so He chose them as the elect. This is Conditional Election, which is Biblical. Calvinism teaches the Devil's lie that God chose who will believe, and that is why they get saved. This is Unconditional Election, because you had no choice in the matter. Repeatedly in the Bible we find the word “whosoever” regarding salvation, clearly showing that all men have a choice (e.g., Romans 10:13; John 3:16). Since Calvinists believe only certain people are chosen for salvation, this begets the next heresy...
Limited Atonement - Calvinists teach Christ only died for the elect. They believe Jesus did not die on the cross for all those who were not chosen for salvation. We know this is a false teaching because 1st John 2:2 plainly says Jesus is not the propitiation for us only, but also for the “WHOLE WORLD.” Note that all Scripture references in my blog are only to the inspired King James Bible. Since Calvinists foolishly think God chooses who will be saved, and that Christ only died for them, this begets the next heresy...
Irresistible Grace - God forces Himself on certain people that He chooses to be saved. It is difficult for me to comprehend how anybody could believe such utter nonsense! Calvinists like to use Romans 9:15 where God told Moses he will have mercy on whom He will have mercy (a quote from Exodus 33:19), to say that God chooses who will be saved. Folks, check for yourself and you will see in the Bible that this passage has absolutely NOTHING to do with salvation. There are actually some things that God cannot do! God cannot lie (Titus 1:2). God has promised “to save them that believe” (1st Corinthians 1:21b). All mankind has a choice to either accept or reject Jesus as their Savior! All these Calvinist false teachings beget the last falsehood...
Perseverance Of The Saints - Since Calvinists believe that God randomly chooses and forces Himself upon certain people, they claim that these people WILL persevere in holy living until the very end. Like Pastor Harry Ironside (1876-1951), I believe in the Perseverance Of The Holy Spirit, that is, the Eternal Security of the believer (Ephesians 1:13). I do NOT believe that the saints must persevere in anything, which would be WORKS! As Christians we SHOULD live for Christ (Romans 12:1); not MUST (that is works, Titus 3:5); not WILL (that would be Calvinism, Romans 5:20). Once you are born-again, you have been JUSTIFIED FROM ALL THINGS... Acts 13:39, “And by him all that believe are justified from all things, from which ye could not be justified by the law of Moses.” That means ONCE SAVED ALWAYS SAVED!!!
Calvinists believe that those who are not chosen by God have no hope of ever being saved. I have met Moody Bible Institute graduates who do not believe in soulwinning. My father (1933-2010) was one of them. My Dad once said to me that people are either going to get saved or not, so you don't need to witness to them. Respectfully, I love my Dad, but he was very wrong in his theology. Moody Bible Institute poisoned his mind. America's so-called “Bible colleges” are the primary source of heresy in this untoward generation! Every preacher I know that denies the inspiration of the King James Bible has attended a Bible college or seminary! To Hell with today's corrupt religious institutions!!!
Calvinism is a false religion, not just a false doctrine which has crept into the Christian church! Calvinist churches (like the Harvest Baptist Church on Guam) are religious cults, not legitimate New Testament churches! That is why they axed me like a turkey on Thanksgiving Day in 2014, and have shunned me away since, even though I pleaded to return to church services because there was no where else to go. In hindsight, I think God was protecting me from being corrupted by their Satanic compromising—counterfeit Bible revisions, woeful lack of love for others, self-righteous hypocrisy, very bad attitudes, haughty arrogance, and false religion at Harvest—the Devil's church!!!
“'You can't tell me you can trust Christ as Savior, and then go out here and live like the Devil, and still go to Heaven!' Yes, I can tell you that! That's what the Bible says. If you don't come to the conclusion, that—Yes, you can trust Christ as your Savior and live like the Devil, and still go to Heaven when you die—you don't get grace, because that is the exact truth! That is the truth! I do not have to change my life! I don't have to stop one sin! You say, 'I've never heard a preacher say that.' You just heard one! And you listen to me—I want to live as holy and as godly as I possibly can. I am now 70 years old. I've been saved for 52 years. ... the only reason I'm going to Heaven is because, 52 years ago in a little living room, I accepted Christ as my Savior.” —Pastor Ralph Yankee Arnold, a great quote from the awesome sermon, “Calvinism And Grace Are NOT Compatible | MP3”
