Roman Catholicism Versus The Holy Bible

Exodus 20:4-5, “Thou shalt not make unto thee any graven image, or any likeness of any thing that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth: Thou shalt not bow down thyself to them, nor serve them: for I the LORD thy God am a jealous God...

I'm amazed how many Catholics send me letters, telling me that I don't understand the Catholic religion. On the contrary, they don't understand the inspired Word of God, and evidently don't want to. Satan has so effectively blinded Catholics, that they even bow down to statues while denying they are committing idolatry. Look at the picture below...

This victim of Catholicism is bowing to a statue of Our Lady of Fatima—a hoax started in the early 20th century. I say this on the authority of the Holy Scriptures! To bow to any graven thing is the SIN OF IDOLATRY! How did this idolatrous TRADITION of worshipping statues of Our Lady Of Fatima begin? Allegedly, the Blessed Virgin Mary appeared in six apparitions (ghostly appearances) to a group of three teenagers in Fatima, Portugal between May 13 and October 13, 1917. According to Fatima.org...
"At Fatima Our Lady said that God wished to establish in the world devotion to the Immaculate Heart of Mary. Our Lady said that many souls would be saved from Hell and the annihilation of nations averted if, in time, devotion to Her Immaculate Heart were established..."
The Holy Bible never mentions the “Immaculate Heart of Mary.” In fact, the doctrine of the Immaculate Conception of the Virgin Mary DIDN'T exist until 1834 when it was first proclaimed by Pope Pius IX. In contrast, the Bible states that all mankind, with the sole exception of Christ, are sinners. Mary herself had need of a Savior (Romans 3:23; 5:12; Psalm 51:5; Luke 1:30,46,47). We are all needy sinners! Mary exclaimed in Luke 1:47, And my spirit hath rejoiced in God my Saviour. It is sinful to place confidence in man (the Pope), over God. Psalm 118:8, It is better to trust in the LORD than to put confidence in man. Who is the Pope to create new doctrines, which are nothing more than the traditions of men? Jesus strongly condemned such traditions...
“Howbeit in vain do they worship me, teaching for doctrines the commandments of men. For laying aside the commandment of God, ye hold the tradition of men ...Full well ye reject the commandment of God, that ye may keep your own tradition ...Making the word of God of none effect through your tradition, which ye have delivered: and many such like things do ye” (Mark 7-9, 13).
Did you read that? Read it again, please! Jesus said that 'THE TRADITIONS OF MEN' MAKE THE WORD OF GOD OF NONE EFFECT. In other words, you can't place your trust in men and God at the same time—it's one or the other. Are you going to trust what the Catholic Church (men) have to say, or are you going to trust the eternally inspired Word of God? The King James Bible gives us some stern advice in Romans 3:4, “God forbid: yea, let God be true, but every man a liar...” Carefully notice the words, every man a liar. That includes the Pope! That includes myself as well, if I teach anything contrary to the Holy Scriptures!!!

So kindly said, why do Catholics keep sending me letters, claiming that I don't understand their MANMADE religion? It is Catholics who refuse to see the light of God's Word—that their entire religion is composed of the traditions of men.

Catholics Have Removed God's Second Of The Ten Commandments

You couldn't make this stuff up! To facilitate their sin of idol worship, Roman Catholics just decided to pervert the Scriptures themselves, changing the truth into a lie (Romans 1:25). Here are the Ten Commandment as presented at BeginningCatholic.com. Carefully notice that they have REMOVED the 2nd commandment forbidding idol worship, but they have deceitfully split the 10th Commandment not to COVET into TWO Commandments! ...
Here are the Catholic Ten Commandments:
  1. I am the LORD your God. You shall worship the Lord your God and Him only shall you serve.
  2. You shall not take the name of the Lord your God in vain.
  3. Remember to keep holy the Sabbath day.
  4. Honor your father and your mother.
  5. You shall not kill.
  6. You shall not commit adultery.
  7. You shall not steal.
  8. You shall not bear false witness against your neighbor.
  9. You shall not covet your neighbor’s wife.
  10. You shall not covet your neighbor’s goods.

Now here are the TEN COMMANDMENTS from the inspired King James Bible, as seen in this Old Testament passage from Exodus 20:1-17...
1 And God spake all these words, saying,
2 I am the Lord thy God, which have brought thee out of the land of Egypt, out of the house of bondage.
3 Thou shalt have no other gods before me.
4 Thou shalt not make unto thee any graven image, or any likeness of any thing that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth.
5 Thou shalt not bow down thyself to them, nor serve them: for I the Lord thy God am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children unto the third and fourth generation of them that hate me;

6 And shewing mercy unto thousands of them that love me, and keep my commandments.
7 Thou shalt not take the name of the Lord thy God in vain; for the Lord will not hold him guiltless that taketh his name in vain.
8 Remember the sabbath day, to keep it holy.
9 Six days shalt thou labour, and do all thy work:
10 But the seventh day is the sabbath of the Lord thy God: in it thou shalt not do any work, thou, nor thy son, nor thy daughter, thy manservant, nor thy maidservant, nor thy cattle, nor thy stranger that is within thy gates:
11 For in six days the Lord made heaven and earth, the sea, and all that in them is, and rested the seventh day: wherefore the Lord blessed the sabbath day, and hallowed it.
12 Honour thy father and thy mother: that thy days may be long upon the land which the Lord thy God giveth thee.
13 Thou shalt not kill.
14 Thou shalt not commit adultery.
15 Thou shalt not steal.
16 Thou shalt not bear false witness against thy neighbour.
17 Thou shalt not covet thy neighbour's house, thou shalt not covet thy neighbour's wife, nor his manservant, nor his maidservant, nor his ox, nor his ass, nor any thing that is thy neighbour's.
Do you see how deceptive Catholics are being? I love everyone dear reader, including deceived Catholics. It is in our depraved human nature to defend ourselves when wrong, even when ABSOLUTELY WRONG! I please with you to RUN AWAY from the Catholic church!
