Does The Holy Bible Teach The Rapture of The Church?

1st Corinthians 15:51-53, Behold, I shew you a mystery; We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed, In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed. For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal must put on immortality.” ... 1st Thessalonians 4:16-18, “For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first: Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord. Wherefore comfort one another with these words.

One of my favorite preachers is Pastor Steven Anderson of the Faithful Word Baptist Church in Tempe, Arizona. Brother Anderson is an aggressive soulwinner, bold in his preaching, and a fervent man of God in my humble opinion. Unfortunately, Pastor Anderson completely DENIES THE RAPTURE of the Body of Christ, which I believe is utter heresy, and he is responsible more than anyone for turning Baptists away from the great doctrine of the Rapture. As I have just shown you, there are at least 33 differences in the Scripture between the Rapture and the Second Coming of the Lord Jesus Christ. I'm sure there are plenty more, but I found these. I encourage YOU DEAR READER, to examine the evidence and decide for yourself. That is all I ask. Don't believe me. Don't believe Pastor Anderson. Do your own Bible study!

Our two text passages of Scripture are strong evidence of a Pretribulation Rapture. At this prophetic event, the saints will be “CAUGHT UP into the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air. The Bible says we as believers WILL BE CHANGED IN THE TWINKLING OF AN EYE (i.e., 100 to 400 milliseconds). In less than one second, our mortal bodies will be forever CHANGED by God into immortal bodies. Philippians 3:21, “For our conversation is in heaven; from whence also we look for the Saviour, the Lord Jesus Christ: Who shall change our vile body, that it may be fashioned like unto his glorious body, according to the working whereby he is able even to subdue all things unto himself. What a glorious day that will be, when my Jesus I shall see!!!

The believer's soul is redeemed at the moment of salvation; but our body won't be redeemed until the Rapture, when our blessed Savior Jesus Christ appears...
Romans 8:22-23, “For we know that the whole creation groaneth and travaileth in pain together until now. And not only they, but ourselves also, which have the firstfruits of the Spirit, even we ourselves groan within ourselves, waiting for the adoption, to wit, the redemption of our body.
The Rapture is a Biblical teaching! Carefully study the 33 distinctions that I gave you earlier, contrasting the Rapture with Christ's Second Coming, and I am confident that you will come to the same conclusion as I did. Here are some helpful words from the famous baseball player turned evangelist, Billy Sunday (1862-1935), concerning the Pretribulation Rapture...
“The Lord does not come to the world at the time of the Rapture, but only reveals himself to the members of His Body. At the time of his resurrection He was only seen by those who believed on Him. Pilate and the High Priest, and those who crucified Him, did not know that He was risen. So it will be at the time of the Rapture. The world will not know that He has been here, and will have no knowledge of Him until He comes with the members of His Body, at the close of the Tribulation.” —Evangelist Billy Sunday, “The Second Coming Of Christ
