As It Was In The Days Of Noah

Luke 17:26-27, “And as it was in the days of Noe, so shall it be also in the days of the Son of man. They did eat, they drank, they married wives, they were given in marriage, until the day that Noe entered into the ark, and the flood came, and destroyed them all.” 

The Bible prophecies that in the End Times of mankind, the world will return to the horrible conditions before the flood of moral rot, unbelief and decay, as it was in the days of Noah. The Bible teaches that the world has always been a wicked place. 1st John 5:19, “And we know that we are of God, and the whole world lieth in wickedness.” Since the Industrial Revolution of the 19th century, humanity has made incredible advancements in technology. The 20th century was an amazing time of innovation and inventions. Have you ever stopped to ponder that for 6,000 years of human civilization, mankind didn't have 99% of the amazing conveniences that we have today? 

For example: There was no such thing as canned foods 110 years ago. In fact, although inventors were unsuccessfully trying to invent the canning process, it wasn't until the year 1912 that the first commercial canning process happened. Literally, in 1910 you couldn't go down to the local store and buy a can of Chef Boyardee Ravioli (which I love to eat by the way). The Chef Boyardee company began in 1928! We are so blessed by God in America! Today, in the 21st century, we are witnessing mind-boggling developments in computer science, genetics and every science known to man. Like everything else in life, these amazing technologies are a DOUBLE-EDGED SWORD. People today are no more sinful than they were 5,000 years ago, but technology has allowed humanity to travel farther down the road we were already on! 

The Bible says that before the flood, every THOUGHT of man's heart was continually evil. So God destroyed the world, saving only EIGHT people alive...

Genesis 6:5-7, “And GOD saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth, and that every imagination of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually. And it repented the LORD that he had made man on the earth, and it grieved him at his heart. And the LORD said, I will destroy man whom I have created from the face of the earth; both man, and beast, and the creeping thing, and the fowls of the air; for it repenteth me that I have made them.”

The Bible likens the End Times to the apostate time of Noah...

Dr. Bob Jones Sr. (1883-1968) rightly said this about America in 1942: 

“The whole rotten modern world is wrecked because of disobedience. The sinful, hellish philosophy that has destroyed America is built upon the philosophy of disobedience. Prisons are filled with juvenile delinquents. Children have been killing their school teachers in some sections of America—cutting their throats, shooting them. Little girls and boys are out murdering people. If you stay here you are going to obey.” —Dr. Bob Jones Sr., “Comments On Here And Hereafter,” Bob Jones University Press, Inc., © 1942

It's hard to believe that Dr. Jones said that in 1942. Things in the United States are 1,000 times worse today in 2020!!! 

The Prince of Preachers, Dr. Tom Malone rightly said in 1971:

“This whole society is rotten and Godless. The wrath of God is upon America. Mark my word: if God’s Word be true, this nation is headed for the dust.” —Pastor Tom Malone, “Can America Survive?”

Brother Malone was absolutely correct! In 1974, Pentecostal preacher, Pastor David Wilkerson, presented a grim future image America in a sermon called: “A FLOOD OF FILTH!” (MP3). Brother Lester Roloff saw the trends of his generation, preaching a needful sermon titled: “STEPS IN THE DEGENERATION OF OUR NATION!” (MP3). 

America has been headed in a wrong direction for a very long time. Pastor John K. Jenkins Sr. made these statements concerning our nation's misdirection: 

“It is horrifying that we have run rapidly away from God's will, God's Word, God's way; as a matter of fact, our nation has embraced the religion of secular humanism—the religion of secular humanism says: Whatever a person feels is right in their own eyes, is right. And while I certainly would never try to stop anybody from doing what they want to do, my challenge is—why do you have to force your immoral practices on the rest of us to have to acknowledge them.” —Pastor John K. A hurting person needs love, and there is no substitute. WE ARE ALL SINNERS!!!

Sodom And Gomorrha Destroyed As An Example

We also read in Luke 17:28 that the world will return “AS IT WAS IN THE DAYS OF LOT”...

Luke 17:28-30, “Likewise also as it was in the days of Lot; they did eat, they drank, they bought, they sold, they planted, they builded; But the same day that Lot went out of Sodom it rained fire and brimstone from heaven, and destroyed them all. Even thus shall it be in the day when the Son of man is revealed.” 

Sodom (and the four other cities destroyed by God in Genesis) didn't know what hit them! Jude 1:7, “Even as Sodom and Gomorrha, and the cities about them in like manner, giving themselves over to fornication, and going after strange flesh, are set forth for an example, suffering the vengeance of eternal fire.” By the way, the destruction of Sodom and Gomorrha by fire and brimstone, is evidence that Hell has fire! If you ever hear a Bible teacher question whether Hell has fire, they don't know the Word of God. They are unskilled in handling the Word of Truth! I wouldn't listen to ANYTHING anybody has to say, who doesn't firmly know that Hell is a literal place, that burns with real fire, and lasts forever!!! 

The Bible says God intentionally destroyed Sodom and Gomorrah with fire and brimstone—as an EXAMPLE to the ungodly who die in their sins without Jesus Christ as Savior—that they will burn in Hell, suffering God's eternal vengeance!!! God gave the world a living illustration of what He is going to do to all Christ-rejecters of all time!!! 

We Are Now In The End Times Of Bible Prophecy

2nd Timothy 3:1-2, “This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come. For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy...” I just read today that the vast majority of U.S. pastors see signs of the End Times in current events. The 911 attack on the World Trade Center in New York, was a critical junction in the Globalist's plot for a New World Order, which they have openly called for since the inception of our country in 1776. I believe that the sinister New World Order (NWO) is the continuation of what Satan tried to accomplish at the tower and city of Babel in Genesis 11:1-11. The NWO is the Beast system of the coming Man of Sin, the Antichrist (i.e., in place of Christ). 

We have a wonderful God, who offers mercy and forgiveness to all humanity, as a free gift, through childlike faith in His only begotten Son, Jesus Christ. 1st Samuel 12:20, “And Samuel said unto the people, Fear not: ye have done all this wickedness: yet turn not aside from following the LORD, but serve the LORD with all your heart;” Our God is a merciful God, to those who want His forgiveness. Micah 7:18, “Who is a God like unto thee, that pardoneth iniquity, and passeth by the transgression of the remnant of his heritage? he retaineth not his anger for ever, because he delighteth in mercy.” It is so wonderful to be a Christian in these End Times, knowing that my name is written in Heaven. I rejoice in having full confidence that I am not going to Hell, but instead I have an eternal home in Heaven, with Jesus my blessed God and Savior!
