Reasons Why You Shouldn't Observe The Heathen Religious Practices Of Ash Wednesday And Lent

Matthew 23:23-27, “Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye pay tithe of mint and anise and cummin, and have omitted the weightier matters of the law, judgment, mercy, and faith: these ought ye to have done, and not to leave the other undone. Ye blind guides, which strain at a gnat, and swallow a camel. Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye make clean the outside of the cup and of the platter, but within they are full of extortion and excess. Thou blind Pharisee, cleanse first that which is within the cup and platter, that the outside of them may be clean also. Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye are like unto whited sepulchres, which indeed appear beautiful outward, but are within full of dead men's bones, and of all uncleanness.”

Because the Old Testament Jewish priests (for religious purposes) used ash in The Temple for worship, and later by Judaism and the Pharisees, it would be both relevant and timely (and in light of the cult of Roman Catholicism) to critically examine these heathen rituals.

Here are reasons why it is wrong to observe Ash Wednesday and Lent:

1. Ash Wednesday (like Infant Baptism) was derived from and copied from pagan Baal Worship.
2. Unlike Communion, it is found nowhere in Scripture nor commanded for the Church.
3. It is the tradition of man versus the teachings of Christ and His Apostles.
4. It disobeys Christ’s command that fasting should be personal and private, not a public show and a parade.
5. The “T” shape of ashes on the forehead is historically not the Cross, “T” as in Tamuz, though most believe it is the Cross. Learn the true pagan origins of Ash Wednesday and Lent. Satan is a beautiful liar!
6. The Babylonians worshipped Tammuz and wore the “T” on their foreheads (made with ashes) when they invaded Israel during the Feast of Tammuz in June and July of 586 BC and destroyed the First Temple built by Solomon, which invasion began in 597 BC and didn’t end until 582 BC (a total of 15 years). But the persecution didn’t end then for the Jews, because they had to witness and be subjected to it for their entire captivity in Babylon which lasted for 70 years, as prophesied by the prophet Jeremiah (2nd Chronicles 36:21; Jeremiah 25:11, 29:10). So, the Jews would have witnessed this billboard of ashes on Babylonian foreheads for almost a century.

In the Ancient Babylonian religion, the evergreen tree symbolized new life springing from a dead stump, and represented the resurrected god of Tammuz. So, no matter what the shape of the ash on the forehead, it was clear to the Jews what it represented; and sadly, many Jews were drawn into this religious rite, and it is the very reason God allowed Babylon to invade Israel and deport the Jews in judgment, clearly revealed in Scripture. However, the Roman's Latin language word for Tammuz is “Thammuz.” So, it is perfectly understandable why they would use a “T” for their Ash Wednesday. But its meaning and foundation is clearly Babylonian.

Old Testament Versus New Testament Use Of Ashes

Hebrews 9:13-14, “For if the blood of bulls and of goats, and the ashes of an heifer sprinkling the unclean, sanctifieth to the purifying of the flesh: How much more shall the blood of Christ, who through the eternal Spirit offered himself without spot to God, purge your conscience from dead works to serve the living God?”

Let's examine the preceding Scripture passage:

1. Note that ashes do nothing for the soul, no matter where you put them on the body.
2. In order to produce ashes, you have to burn the red heifer’s body completely until it becomes ashes, after it has been slain in sacrifice. Jesus was the Perfect Sacrifice, the Lamb of God slain for the sins of the whole world (John 1:29; 1st John 2:2). But here’s the problem: Yes, like heifers and lambs, Jesus was slain. But Jesus was never burned to produce ashes and not a single bone in his body was broken. So, it is impossible and farcical (extravagantly humorous) to use literal ashes on your forehead to symbolize Jesus! Yes, ashes symbolize purification, but purification of Christians is only made possible through faith in Christ’s shed Perfect Blood applied to the heavenly Mercy Seat (Hebrews 9:12, 22-24; 12:24).
3. Catholics only fast for 2 of the 40 Days of Lent. Jesus fasted for the entire 40 Days in the Wilderness.
4. Jesus was tempted by Satan during the 40 Days. Where are any of the appearances of Satan to Catholics for the past millennium and a half?
   
5. Ashes are supposedly used for cleansing. But Scripture says in 1st John 1:9, “If we confess our sins, He is faithful and righteous to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.” So, do ashes have anything to do with confessing our sins? No. And that confession is to God above, not a mortal Catholic priest!
6. “Fat Tuesday” reminds me of the Apostle Paul’s declarations about the Cretans in Titus, who were gluttons. And the Philippians, “whose God is their belly” and “their end is destruction.” So, this prelude alone would disqualify “Ash Wednesday” and “Lent” before the LORD!
7. If Jesus had fasted 40 days before his Crucifixion, there would have been no Last Supper! There is no biblical or historical evidence that Jesus did any of these things 40 Days prior to his Crucifixion.
8. The ashes of a red heifer remained ashes and were never resurrected!
9. Ash Wednesday and Lent are so full of confusion, conflating events and contradictions. And you know who the author of confusion is, Satan (1st Corinthians 14:33).
10. The countdown to Good Friday or Resurrection Day in Lent isn’t 40 sequential days in Lent, but 43-44 days to Good Friday, which ends in 46 days on Saturday, the day before Resurrection Day. And this excludes Sundays and Resurrection Day, without which we would all remain dead in our sinful trespasses! This isn’t just fuzzy math, but numerology on steroids!

Dear reader, Ash Wednesday and Lent are pagan religious practices. These heathen rituals are an integral part of Roman And Orthodox Catholic worship, the biggest demonic religious cults on the planet. I encourage you to avoid these manmade rituals and instead “Search the scriptures” as Jesus commanded in John 5:39. Jeremiah 10:2a, “Thus saith the LORD, Learn not the way of the heathen...”

Are You A Godly Wife Or A Spoiled Brat?

Ephesians 5:22, “Wives, submit yourselves unto your own husbands, as unto the Lord.”

The inspired Word of God teaches that a wife is to submit (obey) her own husband as if he were Jesus Christ. How many women today ascribe to this belief? I dare say 1 in 10,000. In the Old Testament, King Solomon said that out of 1,000 women (likely his 700 wives and 300 concubines), he could not find even one woman that feared God. Ecclesiastes 7:28, “Which yet my soul seeketh, but I find not: one man among a thousand have I found; but a woman among all those have I not found.”

It doesn't surprise me that Solomon couldn't find a female among his haram that feared God, because his worldly type of lifestyle attracted worldly women. I just heard in the news that Sylvester Stallone's third wife has also filed for divorce after 25 years of marriage. She wants his money and she's going to get it! The poor guy married a heathen woman.

Likewise, Actor Robin Williams (1951-2014) commit suicide in 2014. His first two wives divorced him, parasiting off his wealth, using the ungodly courts to forcefully take away hundreds of millions of dollars that he had worked hard to earn. Like Stallone, Robin married heathen women. If Solomon's wives could have gotten away with it, no doubt they would have cleaned him out, taking all his wealth with them. When the Lord Jesus Christ taught His disciples about marriage, adultery, divorce and remarriage, they were horrified and concluded that it's best not to get married. Matthew 19:10, “His disciples say unto him, If the case of the man be so with his wife, it is not good to marry.” They went MGTOW!

In any marriage, you are uniting two sinners. There will be problems, tension and anger at times, with very rare exceptions. I once heard a Christian man testify that in 10 years of marriage he and his wife had never exchanged any negative words nor fought. Either he is a bad liar, or else one or both of them kept their hurt feelings to themselves, because what he said is very strange and abnormal.

I know a Christian couple who are having marital troubles. The wife became angry at her husband. She is lazy and refuses to pick up after herself. She lets food in the refrigerator rot, which has to be tossed into the garbage. I'm talking green moldy hotdogs! She is a bad wife! She is spoiled rotten! In her anger one day she abandoned her husband to run to a local shelter, which she has often done in the past. She falsely accuses him of being abusive, but the truth is that she doesn't like being corrected for not being responsible as an adult. She had worked outside the home in previous years, but was fired from both jobs for LAZINESS! Whereas she is an abusive wife, she gaslights her poor husband, blaming him instead.

That wicked wife after one week in the shelter started her own new bank account, so she could keep her own money away from her husband. She didn't ask her husband for permission to do that. She applied for a job. She didn't ask for her husband's permission to do that either. She started looking for a local apartment to live in. What's that poor husband to do? When her despondent husband (a nervous wreck by now) kindly reminded her that she is his lawful wife, and biblically he has authority over her, she angrily said: “I don't need your permission!” What saith the Scripture? Ephesians 5:22, “Wives, submit yourselves unto your own husbands, as unto the Lord.” Oh, what a foolish woman! She has a sinful loser's attitude. ...

Proverbs 14:1-3, “Every wise woman buildeth her house: but the foolish plucketh it down with her hands. He that walketh in his uprightness feareth the LORD: but he that is perverse in his ways despiseth him. In the mouth of the foolish is a rod of pride: but the lips of the wise shall preserve them.”

I believe these three Bible verses go together. A wife who disobeys and works against her husband does not fear the LORD. She is rebellious! She is a bad wife! She is a spoiled brat! Proverbs 14:3a, “In the mouth of the foolish is a rod of pride...” Any wicked wife who starts her own bank account, applies for a job and secures an apartment without her husband's permission is blaspheming the inspired Word of God. Titus 2:4-5, “That they may teach the young women to be sober, to love their husbands, to love their children, To be discreet, chaste, keepers at home, good, obedient to their own husbands, that the word of God be not blasphemed.” Did you read that... KEEPERS AT HOME! Did you read that... GOOD! Did you read that... OBEDIENT TO THEIR OWN HUSBANDS!

In deteriorated United States today women have become angry, rebellious and empowered by the ungodly courts. It is almost impossible today for a single guy to find a Christian wife who truly walks in the Spirit, so that “The heart of her husband doth safely trust in her, so that he shall have no need of spoil” (Proverbs 31:11). If you get married nowadays, there is a high risk that in time your wicked wife will make you a victim through the courts—and you will regret that you ever decided to get married. All a poor single guy can do is pray for God to give him wisdom how to choose a loyal wife, but even then people often change for the worse.

The old adage is very true: What you see is what you get! If the person you are considering marrying has some red flags, multiply those bad character traits by TEN after you're married. You can trust me on this advice! Never even date someone who has a hot temper. Never date a flirt. Never date someone who consumes booze or illegal drugs. Since you always marry somebody that you know, you should NEVER date someone whom you wouldn't marry. That's some of the best practical advice you'll ever hear my friend.

Yes, dear wife, whomever you may be, God does require for you to obtain your husband's permission to make major life's decisions. And I'll go a step further, which may harelip some of you feminists, your lawful husband does have a biblical right to control who your friends are, if he allows you to have friends at all. If you disagree with that, then you do NOT have a biblical mindset toward marriage. Your husband does have a right to insist that you don't talk to your meddling mother. Meddling mother-in-laws are notorious for ruining marriages!

Your husband has every God-given biblical right to ask where you are going, what you will be doing, who you will be meeting, and when you will be returning, and he has the authority to insist that you stay home instead. If you have a problem with that, then you are a rebel. Proverbs 14:2, “He that walketh in his uprightness feareth the LORD: but he that is perverse in his ways despiseth him.” Woe unto the rebellious wife who continually causes her husband grief of soul, inexplicable emotional pain, financial loss and misery. The only thing worse than not being married is being married and not wanting to be married. It's much better to wait long than marry wrong! We are living in a generation that does not look up to God. Proverbs 30:13, “There is a generation, O how lofty are their eyes! and their eyelids are lifted up.”

I realize that less than 1% of my blog readers will likely agree with the truths I have taught in this article, but this is 100% biblical. No one can escape life's responsibilities. When you don't pull your weight at work, you get fired. When a lazy wife doesn't pull her weight at home, her husband cannot fire her. All the poor fella can do is verbally correct her. But if she has some spiritual and/or mental issues that compel her to get upset, go lunatic and with blood-curdling screaming explode in anger toward her husband (while he's nowhere near her), she is wrong. Woe unto the foolish woman who punishes her husband by using her vocal cords to scream as a weapon against him, for no other reason than she doesn't want to be scolded for her laziness. That dear reader is what you call a “spoiled brat”!

I feel so sorry for the fella I shared with you in this blog. He's a good and responsible guy with a caring heart, but he married a lazy woman with an unscriptural attitude toward her husband's authority. She does what she wants, how she wants, when she wants, and he dare not try to tell her different, lest she make his life a living hell on earth. Woe unto that ungodly wife when she answers to God sin eternity at the Judgment Seat of Christ. A godly wife obeys her man, period. Pastor Curtis Hutson (1934-1995) is absolutely right, who said that if your husband tells you to stay home from church with him, YOU STAY HOME and don't complain!

By the way, females wearing pants, Spandex, miniskirts and other immodest clothing has nothing to do with a wife's heart toward her husband. I know Christian women who wear pants, but are obedient toward their husband. And I know Christian women who would never wear anything but long dresses who are rebellious brats, a constant burden to their husband. One thing has nothing to do with the other. You cannot always judge a book by its cover.

We need a revival in the United States of wifely submission to husbands. And if you're a feminist-minded female who's right now thinking: “Well what about my husband?,” you're the rebellious brat to whom I am preaching the inspired Holy Bible. GET RIGHT WITH GOD!!!

Who Is On The LORD's Side?

Exodus 32:22-27, “And Aaron said, Let not the anger of my lord wax hot: thou knowest the people, that they are set on mischief. For they said unto me, Make us gods, which shall go before us: for as for this Moses, the man that brought us up out of the land of Egypt, we wot not what is become of him. And I said unto them, Whosoever hath any gold, let them break it off.  So they gave it me: then I cast it into the fire, and there came out this calf. And when Moses saw that the people were naked; (for Aaron had made them naked unto their shame among their enemies:) Then Moses stood in the gate of the camp, and said, Who is on the LORD's side? let him come unto me. And all the sons of Levi gathered themselves together unto him. And he said unto them, Thus saith the LORD God of Israel, Put every man his sword by his side, and go in and out from gate to gate throughout the camp, and slay every man his brother, and every man his companion, and every man his neighbour.”

I am often reminded of this passage of Scripture. We read in Romans 15:4, “For whatsoever things were written aforetime were written for our learning, that we through patience and comfort of the scriptures might have hope.” Dear friend, God gave us His Word to give us hope and comfort through the promises of the inspired Scriptures. As we read the many biographies of God's children throughout centuries past in the Old Testament, and they wicked alike, we are given a privileged look at their lives before, during and after their time on earth, and how those who walked by faith in Christ came forth of them all.

By the way, that is what the Scripture means in Isaiah 28:16, Romans 9:33 and Romans 10:11, “For the scripture saith, Whosoever believeth on him shall not be ashamed.” In other words, you will never regret putting your trust in Jesus Christ.

In our text passage of Scripture, Aaron (Moses' blood brother) had succumbed to the Hebrew's request for him to make unto them idols (false gods). Aaron was very carnal and foolish to give into their wicked desires. Aaron wickedly melted a golden-calf for the people and they sinfully worshipped it. When Joshua heard the rock music in the camp, he called it the sound of war. When Moses came down from the mountain with the Ten Commandments, he saw the people butt-naked, dancing shamefully around a golden calf. Moses was a godly man and he became very angry.

Aaron was such a liar! When his brother Moses asked him what wickedness he had done, Aaron said: “Whosoever hath any gold, let them break it off. So they gave it me: then I cast it into the fire, and there came out this calf.” Right! Aaron said he tossed all their golden jewelry into the fire and magically a golden calf just came out. Are you buying that? Moses sure didn't! Golden calves don't just suddenly form and appear, someone shaped and made it that way on purpose to worship it instead of their Creator and eternal Deliverer, God.

I love what Moses said to the people in Exodus 32:26b, “Who is on the LORD's side? let him come unto me.” I humbly believe this is where Joshua found the inspiration to say to the Hebrew people in Joshua 24:15, “And if it seem evil unto you to serve the LORD, choose you this day whom ye will serve; whether the gods which your fathers served that were on the other side of the flood, or the gods of the Amorites, in whose land ye dwell: but as for me and my house, we will serve the LORD.” Whose side are you on dear reader?

There are tens of millions of worldly Christians in this world, few of which attend church regularly, but if given an ultimatum to choose sides they would instantly come over to the LORD's side, because they are saved. I believe that with all my heart. Many Christian women today wear their ungodly pants in public, behaving like the wicked Jews who gleefully danced naked around the camp in Moses' absence, but they haven't sunk as far spiritually to worship the golden calf. Many Christian men look at dirty computer images that no human eye should ever see, except to whom one is legally married. The sad truth is that most Christians today are already half way to the worldly camp that shocked Moses.

I am on the LORD's side! I settled that a very long, long, time ago in my Christian life. I have never claimed to be a good Christian. I do not think I am. But God knows I work day and night on my website ministry because I love Jesus, my God, Lord, Friend and Savior. There is a “cause,” as David asked his brother in 1st Samuel 17:29. I work hard while I still can. John 9:4, “I must work the works of him that sent me, while it is day: the night cometh, when no man can work.” We are all living in borrowed time from God, our faithful and good Creator.

The Sin Of Ignoring And Shunning God Our Creator

Romans 1:21-22, “For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even his eternal power and Godhead; so that they are without excuse: Because that, when they knew God, they glorified him not as God, neither were thankful; but became vain in their imaginations, and their foolish heart was darkened. Professing themselves to be wise, they became fools.”

1st Corinthians 1:18-21, “For the preaching of the cross is to them that perish foolishness; but unto us which are saved it is the power of God. For it is written, I will destroy the wisdom of the wise, and will bring to nothing the understanding of the prudent. Where is the wise? where is the scribe? where is the disputer of this world? hath not God made foolish the wisdom of this world? For after that in the wisdom of God the world by wisdom knew not God, it pleased God by the foolishness of preaching to save them that believe.”

What Saith The Scripture?

God created all things!

Genesis 1:1, “In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth.”

Genesis 1:16, “And God made two great lights; the greater light to rule the day, and the lesser light to rule the night: he made the stars also.”

Genesis 2:4, “These are the generations of the heavens and of the earth when they were created, in the day that the LORD God made the earth and the heavens.”

Isaiah 45:12, “I have made the earth, and created man upon it: I, even my hands, have stretched out the heavens, and all their host have I commanded.”

John 1:1-3, “In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. The same was in the beginning with God. All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made.”

2nd Peter 3:3-7, “Knowing this first, that there shall come in the last days scoffers, walking after their own lusts, And saying, Where is the promise of his coming? for since the fathers fell asleep, all things continue as they were from the beginning of the creation. For this they willingly are ignorant of, that by the word of God the heavens were of old, and the earth standing out of the water and in the water: Whereby the world that then was, being overflowed with water, perished: But the heavens and the earth, which are now, by the same word are kept in store, reserved unto fire against the day of judgment and perdition of ungodly men.”

A Bible believer changes his beliefs to match the words of the Bible. The earth did not evolve as the result of a big bang! God made the earth. When the impressionable minds of children are taught the blatant lie they evolved from stardust and animals, they will behave as animals. Today's morally bankrupt American adults are yesterday's students who were indoctrinated with the fraud of evolution. The workers of iniquity of the last days will be among the worst sinners of history. In recent years in the United States, we've heard relentless disturbing stories in the daily news about criminal youths smashing into stores with sledge hammers, cars and all manner of weapons, stealing billions of dollars in merchandise.

Jesus Christ (an equal member of the Godhead) created all things according to John 1:3. That is what I choose to believe. I am as narrow-minded as the inspired King James Bible.

To Find The Truth In Secular Matters Just Follow The Money

Proverbs 11:24, “There is that scattereth, and yet increaseth; and there is that withholdeth more than is meet, but it tendeth to poverty.”

I humbly think the present dire situation with Iran is much more about appeasing Israel than protecting the innocent people in Iran.

I humbly believe the same holds true concerning the Danish territory of Greenland. I think President Trump and company are far more interested in acquiring Greenland's trillions of dollars in natural resources, than protecting America from China and Russia.

Since President Trump is stopping the illegal drug trade which has been facilitated and sanctioned by the corrupt CIA and Wall Street institutions for the past half century in America to finance the New World Order, they need a new cash cow. Just between Venezuela's and Greenland's vast mineral and oil resources, the Globalists will tap into an additional estimated $22 trillion.

To find the truth, just follow the money.

On a different disturbing note, Congress has stolen trillions of dollars from American's social security. There seems to be no end to our leader's reckless spending habits.

Social Security is not very secure! The problem is that in the United States there are presently 2.8 workers for every social security recipient, and that ratio is narrowing so that there simply won't be enough money in the near future. In lieu of the 66,400,000 abortions since 1972, there is a massive shortage of workers to support the tens of millions of retiring Baby Boomers. By murdering their own offspring, Americans have shot themselves in the foot.

Proverbs 22:16, “He that oppresseth the poor to increase his riches, and he that giveth to the rich, shall surely come to want.”

Although not technically "socialism," these social welfare programs are simply not sustainable ultimately. It was never the purpose of any government to provide for it's people's needs. The original intent of government was to PROTECT our person, freedom and property. That was it. Yeah, social security is nice, if it works, but it doesn't in the long run. Social Security is facing financial challenges today, with projections indicating that it may only be able to pay about 77% of benefits starting in 2033 if no changes are made. Recipients can expect to see additional future reductions in payments. Somebody's got to pay the bills.

Women belong at home, not pursuing careers! That is not hate preaching, it's the truth of God's Word and common sense! In 1st Peter 3:7 the Bible calls women “the weaker vessel,” and females being in the workplace just encourages adultery and divorce. Eve was deceived, but not Adam. It is a biblical principle that women are more prone to Satanic deception than men. Women are safe at home with their own husband.

I don't blame Pastor Bruce Mejia for refusing to speak with a lynch mob of hateful ungodly reprobates They don't want to talk, they want to try to force him to stop preaching THE TRUTH. It just ain't gonna happen! Proverbs 29:9, “If a wise man contendeth with a foolish man, whether he rage or laugh, there is no rest.”

In the New Testament book of Acts, we read about numerous incidents where the apostles were run out of town by wicked sinners. Just like Pastor Mejia, ungodly sinners demanded that Jesus' disciples leave their city. Acts 16:39, “And they came and besought them, and brought them out, and desired them to depart out of the city.” Woe be unto the wicked!

Pastor Mejia has a right, both legally and biblically, to preach his religious convictions. If local residents don't like it, then they don't have to attend his First Works Baptist Church in El Monte, California. The people attacking him and his ministry are minding his business instead of their own, angry over things that don't concern them.

We thankfully live in a free country where everyone has the God-given freedom and legally outlined rights to speak their opinion. A truly “free” society is one in which it is safe to be unpopular. Why is it that ungodly sodomites can push, assert and even force their ungodly filth in the government, courts and schools; but then the faithful fundamentalist Bible preacher is supposed to be forbidden to preach his views? When that tragic day comes, the United States will be doomed to destruction!

There is nothing new under the sun. If El Monte's ungodly reprobate residents could get away with it, they'd stone Pastor Mejia like they did Stephen in the Bible. Acts 7:57-58, “Then they cried out with a loud voice, and stopped their ears, and ran upon him with one accord, And cast him out of the city, and stoned him: and the witnesses laid down their clothes at a young man's feet, whose name was Saul.”

The reason why Pastor Mejia is not interested in speaking with mediators and some angry residents is simply because there is nothing to talk about. Proverbs 29:27, “An unjust man is an abomination to the just: and he that is upright in the way is abomination to the wicked.” 2nd Corinthians 6:14-17 teaches that there is no common ground between the righteous and the wicked.

Redemption Was Not Finished On The Cross

John 19:28-30, “After this, Jesus knowing that all things were now accomplished, that the scripture might be fulfilled, saith, I thirst. Now there was set a vessel full of vinegar: and they filled a spunge with vinegar, and put it upon hyssop, and put it to his mouth. When Jesus therefore had received the vinegar, he said, It is finished: and he bowed his head, and gave up the ghost.”

Scripturally, redemption was not truly "finished" until Jesus' literal physical liquid blood was sprinkled upon the heavenly Mercy Seat. In the Old Testament it wasn't enough at Passover to merely kill the lamb, the slain lamb's blood needed to be APPLIED to the doorposts and lintel (a horizontal beam used as a finishing piece over a door or window) of each home for the Lord to pass over that home, to spare the firstborn. Likewise, the Old Testament ceremonial laws for the Jews were a “SHADOW OF GOOD THINGS TO COME” (Hebrews 10:1b) of future things to come. Jesus is “the Lamb of God, which taketh away the sin of the world” (John 1:29b).

When Jesus died and resurrected three days later, He said to Mary Magdalene, “Touch me not; for I am not yet ascended to my Father” (John 20:17b). The Devil's modern corrupt Bible revisions all tamper and change this passage to read, "Do not hold onto me," which implies that she had already touched Him. But if she had touched Jesus, the blood sacrifice would have been corrupted. It wasn't until Jesus returned from Heaven that he invited the Apostle Thomas (who doubted) to “touch” His scars in His hands and feet (John 20:27).

In John 19:30, everybody fails to read the preceding verses, which clears up the matter...

It wasn't until Jesus saw that all of the Old Testament Messianic prophecies concerning Himself were fulfilled that He uttered the words, “I thirst.” When Christ uttered those two words “I thirst” and received the vinegar, all prophecies had been fulfilled, so that Christ could say, “It is finished.” We know that the Gospel could not have been finished, because Jesus hadn't even died yet, let alone been buried and resurrected yet. So how could redemption have been finished? Jesus was speaking about fulfilled prophecy, and not salvation.

Redemption was not ultimately finished until Jesus' precious blood was sprinkled upon the Mercy Seat in Heaven (Hebrews 9:12, 22-24; 12:24). Pastor John MacArthur wickedly (in his Bible commentary) teaches that "blood" in Hebrews 9:12 means "death." If God meant death then He would have said "death," but He said "blood." Mr. MacArthur (1939-2025) heretically taught that we are saved by Jesus' outpouring of blood on Calvary's cross, and not by His blood being applied in Heaven. MacArthur is a liar!

I was listening to Alexander Scourby (1913-1985) read from Hebrews today. Hebrews 9:12, "Neither by the blood of goats and calves, but by his own blood he entered in once into the holy place, having obtained eternal redemption for us." Only a darn fool would tamper with this Bible passage to render it mute. Just as the lamb's blood needed to be applied to the home's doorposts, so also did Jesus' blood have to be applied in Heaven in the presence of the Father on our behalf (Hebrews 9:24).

Exodus 12:13, “And the blood shall be to you for a token upon the houses where ye are: and when I see the blood, I will pass over you, and the plague shall not be upon you to destroy you, when I smite the land of Egypt.”

The death angel was looking for the blood, not the dead lamb. Jesus' death on the cross wasn't enough, it was absolutely necessary and imperative that the blood be applied in Heaven.
