How To Please God During Suffering

Jonah 2:9-10, “But I will sacrifice unto thee with the voice of thanksgiving; I will pay that that I have vowed.  Salvation is of the LORD. And the LORD spake unto the fish, and it vomited out Jonah upon the dry land.”

The moment that Jonah repented (changed his thinking) and told God that he would pay that he had vowed, the Lord caused the great fish to drop Jonah off at the next whale stop! I love a joke that Pastor Ralph Yankee Arnold told, about Jonah being down in the mouth...lol. I like that. I don't know about you, but reading this true story about Jonah motivates me to want to obey God sooner than later. Perhaps we can get out of the whale's belly today rather than tomorrow. That's not to say that all suffering and problems in life are sent by God to teach us a lesson or compel us to do something, but since we usually don't know why we suffer in any particular situation, I'd rather play it safe and just be humble to obey God right away.

We see a similar situation with Job. Job's friends were brutal in their critique of him. Job 16:1, “Then Job answered and said, I have heard many such things: miserable comforters are ye all. Shall vain words have an end? or what emboldeneth thee that thou answerest?” Job's friends falsely accused him of not being right with God for the calamity in his life. They said if it wasn't Job, then it must have been his children that sinned, because God doesn't let bad things happen to the righteous. Literally, that is the horrible way they were thinking. They were very wrong.

Job's sincere friends rationalized that bad things don't just happen. Job's ten children were all killed by a tornado. His servants were killed by thieves. His wealth was gone from fire and burglars. Job's wife became bitter toward God. Job became diseased with painful boils from head to toe. His friends said it was all Job's fault, and his family's. How would you respond toward friends like that? Most people wouldn't have been their friend anymore. But read how Job responded in Job 42:10, “And the LORD turned the captivity of Job, when he prayed for his friends: also the LORD gave Job twice as much as he had before.” When Job prayed for his horrible judgmental friends, God ended Job's calamity. 

Again, I am compelled from reading this true story to please God right away. I am going to pray for my former spouse with love in my heart, even though she horribly abandoned and divorced me in 2006, devastating me emotionally, financially and ruining my life. We will never be remarried, but I love her in Christ and pray for her. I buy her anything she asks, because I believe it is how God wants me to treat her. She has never apologized for anything, she blames other women. Like Eve, she blames others, but not herself. But that is God's department to judge, not mine. What saith the Scripture? ...

Romans 12:19-21 “Dearly beloved, avenge not yourselves, but rather give place unto wrath: for it is written, Vengeance is mine; I will repay, saith the Lord. Therefore if thine enemy hunger, feed him; if he thirst, give him drink: for in so doing thou shalt heap coals of fire on his head. Be not overcome of evil, but overcome evil with good.”

When Joseph's brothers sold him into slavery, he suffered inexplicably for the next 20 years. Joseph has every reason to hate his 10 half brother's guts. They were the sons of Leah. Joseph was the son of Rachel. Rachel died giving birth to Benjamin. Joseph could have despised them, but look how he responded in Genesis 50:18-21, “And his brethren also went and fell down before his face; and they said, Behold, we be thy servants. And Joseph said unto them, Fear not: for am I in the place of God? But as for you, ye thought evil against me; but God meant it unto good, to bring to pass, as it is this day, to save much people alive. Now therefore fear ye not: I will nourish you, and your little ones.  And he comforted them, and spake kindly unto them.” Wow! I love that.

Dear reader, I have shown you three living examples in the Word of God of saints, who after being through inexplicably traumatic ordeals, honored the Lord by exemplifying His forgiveness and love toward those that deeply hurt, afflicted and wounded them to the core. Job 13:15, “Though he slay me, yet will I trust in him: but I will maintain mine own ways before him.” I love Job's attitude. Job said even if God killed him, he was going to still trust Him. May we be as faithful as Job. Job 19:25, “For I know that my redeemer liveth, and that he shall stand at the latter day upon the earth:” Matthew 8:26, “And he saith unto them, Why are ye fearful, O ye of little faith? Then he arose, and rebuked the winds and the sea; and there was a great calm.” Do you know that your Redeemer liveth? I do! Jesus exclaimed in Mark 11:22b, “Have faith in God.”

When Jonah made things right with God, he was freed from his captivity. Jonah evidently had made a vow to God, to go preach the Gospel to Nineveh, but then he reneged on his vow. What saith the Scripture? Ecclesiastes 5:4-5, “When thou vowest a vow unto God, defer not to pay it; for he hath no pleasure in fools: pay that which thou hast vowed. Better is it that thou shouldest not vow, than that thou shouldest vow and not pay.” The Bible says happy is the man who trusts in the Lord. Proverbs 28:14, “Happy is the man that feareth alway: but he that hardeneth his heart shall fall into mischief.”

That was the sin of Ananias and Sapphira in Acts 5:1-11. They had vowed to sell some property and donate the money to the church, but then for some reason reneged on their vow, keeping back part of the money. They lied to God. I once heard Pastor Jack Hyles mention in a sermon that $100,000 of money was never paid, which church members had vowed to give to the ministry a year earlier. Dr. Hyles was a good guy. He often co-signed for church members. I heard him once say that he had to pay $15,000 in money from loans that people never repaid, which he had co-signed for. Brother Hyles never once mentioned the matter to the people who didn't repay their debts, because he loved them and didn't want to lose them as church members. That is a godly man and a loyal friend!

From reading all these Scripture passages, and there are many more in the Bible, it is clear to me that the way we respond to suffering affects how God responds to us. When Jonah cried out to God with a thankful heart in the belly of the whale—proclaiming that SALVATION IS OF THE LORD, and he vowed to repay his vow—God responded by letting him go.

When Job prayed to God for his horrible friends—those who kicked dirt in his face while he was at the bottom of life, suffering in pain, lonely, miserable and mourning the death of all his beloved children—God turned away Job's captivity. My blessed reader, if you want to please God during your trials, tribulations and suffering—HAVE FAITH IN GOD!!! Hebrews 12:2, “Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God.” Unshakable faith comes from having our faith shaken!

John 11:25-26, “Jesus said unto her, I am the resurrection, and the life: he that believeth in me, though he were dead, yet shall he live: And whosoever liveth and believeth in me shall never die. Believest thou this?”

Why Won't God Heal Amputees?

"If I had not done among them the works which none other man did, they had not had sin: but now have they both seen and hated both me and my Father. But this cometh to pass, that the word might be fulfilled that is written in their law, They hated me without a cause" (John 15:24,25).

So why doesn't God heal amputees? The truth is that the Word of God never promised such healing for the lame.

Biblically, amputees are referred to as the "lame." In Luke 7:22 Jesus said... "Go your way, and tell John what things ye have seen and heard; how that the blind see, the lame walk, the lepers are cleansed, the deaf hear, the dead are raised, to the poor the gospel is preached." Jesus healed amputees, making the lame to walk, the blind to see, and the deaf to hear; BUT, apart from the miracles of the New Testament, there are NO recorded evidences of amputees being divinely healed.

Keep in mind that Jesus performed the works He did, as no other man ever did, to prove to mankind that He was God in the flesh... "If I had not done among them the works which none other man did, they had not had sin: but now have they both seen and hated both me and my Father. But this cometh to pass, that the word might be fulfilled that is written in their law, They hated me without a cause" (John 15:24,25).

Jesus, for a short time, granted power unto His Apostles to perform these same miracles (Mark 16:17,18). By the end of the New Testament, these Apostolic gifts had CEASED. 1st Corinthians 13:8b clearly states... "tongues, they shall cease." 1st Corinthians 13:8-12 speaks in reference to New Testament saints awaiting the completion of the Bible... when that which is perfect is come, then that which is in part shall be done away. The Apostolic gifts of healing, tongues, and of casting out Devils CEASED during New Testament times, as evidence by Paul's inability to heal himself, Timothy, and Trophimus. We know that God is a miracle working God, and still performs wondrous miracles today; BUT, no man has the power to exercise these powers at will as Jesus and the Apostles did. Only Jesus was able to heal amputees, as evidence of His deity. Jesus, to validate the message and ministry of the Apostles, granted them Apostolic gifts to be performed in His name, which CEASED by the end of the New Testament. I challenge any Charismatic who would argue this matter to heal an amputee... you cannot!


Only Jesus and His Apostles Were Able to Heal Amputees

In Luke 7:20 we find John the Baptist very discouraged, questioning whether Jesus was the Christ or not. I think most Christians can relate to John's dilemma. Even the greatest man born amongst women, John the Baptist (Matthew 11:11), faltered in his faith at times. Never forget that! John's disciples come to Jesus with a message from John... Art thou he that should come, or do we look for another? (Luke 7:20; Matthew 11:3). Jesus replies in Luke 7:22, "Go your way, and tell John what things ye have seen and heard; how that the blind see, the lame walk, the lepers are cleansed, the deaf hear, the dead are raised, to the poor the gospel is preached." No preacher today has power from God to perform such miracles. If men today could perform such miracles, then Christ would be discredited and forgotten. In fact, hellbound magician, David Blaine, has actually attempted to discredit Jesus Christ by performing some of the same miracles which Christ did while on earth.

At the end of the video, a message appears which states: “Criss Angel is the 2nd Coming of Jesus...Believe It!” Criss Angel has also publickly walked on water, leading people to believe that he is Jesus. This is very disturbing folks.

Such wickedness is preparing the way for the coming Antichrist, who will deceive the world with his DECEIT... "Even him, whose coming is after the working of Satan with all power and signs and lying wonders, And with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish; because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved" (2nd Thessalonians 2:9,10). But even still, the Antichrist will not be able to heal the lame, make the deaf to hear, heal the blind, or raise the dead. ONLY Jesus Christ was able to perform such miracles, and for a short time—His Apostles—to whom He granted such powers to validate their ministry. Today, nearly 2000 years later, followers of Christ are still testifying to the sinful lost world of Jesus' miracles as recorded in the Scriptures. No man in the history of humanity has been able to perform the breath-taking, mind-boggling, scientifically impossible, miracles which the Lord Jesus Christ did, which is why Jesus stated in John 14:11, "Believe me that I am in the Father, and the Father in me: or else believe me for the very works' sake."

In Acts 3:6-13, we read that Peter healed a lame man. The people were astonished and began to worship the Apostles. Peter responded in Acts 3:12-13, "And when Peter saw it, he answered unto the people, Ye men of Israel, why marvel ye at this? or why look ye so earnestly on us, as though by our own power or holiness we had made this man to walk? The God of Abraham, and of Isaac, and of Jacob, the God of our fathers, hath glorified his Son Jesus." You see, the Apostles only had this power for a short time to GLORIFY THE SON OF GOD. Once the Word of God was completed, there was no need for these sign gifts anymore.

Life Itself is a Miracle of God, Clearly Revealing God's Power and Godhead

Oh listen my friend! You'd better stop demanding miracles from God; BUT rather, believe on Jesus Christ because of the miracles recorded in the Word of God! Only a deliberately blind fool would deny the existence of God, who is clearly seen in creation, "For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even his eternal power and Godhead; so that they are without excuse" (Romans 1:20). To them that believe, no explanation is necessary; to them that believe not, no explanation is possible. If you believe in God, then you'd be a fool not to believe that He authored the Bible. Mankind wouldn't write the Bible if he could, and couldn't if he would. There is NO other Book on earth compared to the Word of God. The discovery of over 5,000 scrolls and parchments of the Scriptures is overwhelming evidence that the Word of God wasn't written by a single man, or during a certain time. The Bible spans 1500 years, written by over 40 men, from various walks of life, most of whom never met one another; YET, the Bible perfectly cross-references in understandable meaning to the diligent Bible student.

If you want to see a miracle from God, open your eyes. Life itself is proof of God's divine power and Godhead. I pity the fool who refuses to believe in electricity because he says he can't see it. God's presence is what holds the universe together (Acts 17:25). One only needs to sit back and view creation to KNOW that there is a God.

Conclusion

God is a prayer answering God, or else He wouldn't have asked us to pray (Philippians 4:6; 1st Thessalonians 5:17; 1st Peter 5:7). James 5:14,15 clearly tell us that God will heal the sick in response to the prayer of faith; BUT, James didn't say anything about healing for the lame, blind, or deaf. Many Christians today have wonderful testimonies of God's wondrous power that has healed them. However, it is abundantly clear that God doesn't heal amputees today, which would diminish the works which Christ did while upon the earth. Jesus spoke like no other man, and performed miracles like no other man, because He is the Son of God. Fake healers, such as Benny Hinn, never heal an amputee! In fact, there are no legitimate healers today, they're all fake! It's always a woman with a headache, or a man with pain in his leg, i.e., something non-verifiable. It's a proven scam that's been going on for ages, and people continue to fall for it.

The ONLY "Great Physician" is Jesus Christ, and He performed His miracles to prove His deity (John 15:24,25). Biblical healing today comes through faith; BUT, we must realize that it is NOT God's will to heal everyone, and amputees shouldn't expect any healing until the Lord's return. Amen! Every Christian who is suffering pain today... the deaf, dumb, blind, and crippled... will be forever healed by Christ's omnipotent power when he returns at the Rapture!

Like Insulin Resistance, Churches Are Truth Resistant

Revelation 3:1-2, “And unto the angel of the church in Sardis write; These things saith he that hath the seven Spirits of God, and the seven stars; I know thy works, that thou hast a name that thou livest, and art dead. Be watchful, and strengthen the things which remain, that are ready to die: for I have not found thy works perfect before God.” Jude 1:3, “Beloved, when I gave all diligence to write unto you of the common salvation, it was needful for me to write unto you, and exhort you that ye should earnestly contend for the faith which was once delivered unto the saints.”

Insulin resistance kills three times more Americans than cancer does! What is insulin? What is insulin resistance? Insulin is a hormone produced by the pancreas that regulates blood sugar (glucose). Eating carbohydrates (rice, bread, pasta potatoes) all gets converted in the body to glucose. Plus the sugar you eat gets turned into glucose. Fructose is sugar from fruit. Sucrose is sugar from sugar cane. Too much sugar is toxic for your body!

Americans as a whole eat a horrible diet. Only 5% of Americans eat the required amount of fiber each day. The average American eats 20 times more red meat than they should. Meat is high in protein but contains ZERO fiber. Beans are much better, having both protein and fiber! Consequently, 40% of Americans are obese. Here is some information explaining insulin and insulin resistance:

Insulin is a hormone that plays a big role in metabolism, which is all about how our body converts digested food into energy.

Let’s start from the beginning:

Our digestive track breaks down the carbohydrates we eat into glucose as well as other simple sugars. Our bloodstream then delivers glucose across the body,  for our cells to use as energy.

That’s where insulin comes in.

It’s a hormone produced by our pancreas, to help blood glucose enter into the cells. You can think of it as the key that opens the cell’s door, allowing blood glucose to enter.

‘Insulin resistance’ simply means that the cells of our body have slowly stopped responding to insulin – it can no longer open the door.

Although cells have other ways of taking up glucose, this definitely causes an imbalance in our blood glucose levels, and even impairs the functions of cells. 

The condition of ‘insulin resistance’ is known as type-II diabetes mellitus. This is different from type-I diabetes mellitus, where the body cannot make insulin in the first place, making it necessary for the patient to inject insulin into their blood.

Likewise, churches today are obese with money, comfort and luxury. The New Testament church didn't have heating and air conditioning. As far as we know they didn't even have a building. How does that compare to churches today with their padded pews, stained-glass windows, lush carpeting, annual trips to the Holy Land, exorbitant salaries for pastors (2 to 3 times what the average U.S. worker gets paid annually), et cetera? These spiritually obese churches have become truth resistant, just as an insulin resistant sick person.

Insulin Resistance (Diabetes) Causes All Sorts Of Health Problems

Once a person's body has become resistant to insulin, meaning that the muscles no longer burn sugar as energy, really bad things start to happen. Blood sugar levels spike. Blood pressure spikes. Nerves start to die in the feet, toes and extremities of the body. You can go blind, have a stroke, have kidney failure, and a bunch of other awful things. The cure is simply to lose weight, eat heathy, exercise and take control of your health. Insulin resistance is also known as diabetes, commonly known as: “The Silent Killer” (because many people don't even know they have it until too late). Diabetes is also called: “The Sitting Disease,” because America's sedentary lifestyle is the major cause of insulin resistance, and bad diet.

The same horrible thing has happened to the churches today. Churches have become truth resistant. Pastors and congregations no longer respond to the Holy Spirit, failing to absorb truth; just like muscles which no longer respond to insulin, failing to absorb glucose (body sugar). As a consequence of not being able to absorb truth, because pastor's hearts are not right with God today, all sorts of really bad things are happening in the churches. 

This is why the deadly disease of Lordship Salvation is so prevalent in churches nowadays (in the absence of truth), which is a perversion of God's grace. Some people mockingly refer to the simplicity that is in Christ (the free grace Gospel) as “cheap grace,” but friend, grace does not come cheap, it cost Jesus His life. God's grace is free to you and me, but it cost God His only begotten Son (John 3:16), and it cost Jesus His very life (2nd Corinthians 5:21), so we could be free and escape eternity burning in the Lake of Fire (Romans 5:9). We are saved by simple childlike faith in Jesus Christ (Galatians 3:26).

It is resistance to THE TRUTH why so many churches today have been infected with literally  hundreds of corrupt English Bible revisions, which attack the deity of Jesus, pervert the meaning of repentance, change of plan of salvation, remove the Godhead (Trinity), eliminate complete passages of Scripture, and diminish the preeminence of Christ. Truth resistance is deadly, and your church has probably already been infected by this Silent Killer!!!

Since I am a Baptist, I see the apostate condition in most Baptist churches today, and it grieves me. Baptist churches everywhere are dying. Revelation 3:1-2, “And unto the angel of the church in Sardis write; These things saith he that hath the seven Spirits of God, and the seven stars; I know thy works, that thou hast a name that thou livest, and art dead. Be watchful, and strengthen the things which remain, that are ready to die: for I have not found thy works perfect before God.” The Lord exhorted the church at Sardis to strengthen the things that were READY TO DIE. This Scripture passage is so applicable today in America. Once a church is so far gone that they preach another gospel of misunderstood repentance (aka, “turn away from your sin” to be saved), they are now a religious cult, not a church. It is corrupt theological institutions; such as, Bob Jones University and Moody Bible Institute, that are promoting a counterfeit plan of salvation through thousands of their corrupt graduates.

Pastors Are Killing The Churches By Resisting The Truth

The following information appeared in a Pew Forum article on October 17, 2019. The article is titled: 'In U.S., Decline Of Christianity Continues At Rapid Pace':

More than eight-in-ten members of the Silent Generation (those born between 1928 and 1945) describe themselves as Christians (84%), as do three-quarters of Baby Boomers (76%). In stark contrast, only half of Millennials (49%) describe themselves as Christians; four-in-ten are religious “nones,” and one-in-ten Millennials identify with non-Christian faiths... The data suggests that Christians are declining not just as a share of the U.S. adult population, but also in absolute numbers. I was saddened when I learned that rapper Kanye West performed a dance concert at Joel Osteen's so-called "church" in Houston, Texas in 2019. Check out this giant All Seeing Eye which was displayed when Kanye performed there. This is their way of bragging that the Luciferian elite have infiltrated the churches with the New World Order. I-chabod (the glory of the Lord is departed) is written over the door of today's churches!!! Joel Osteen is a false teacher. Evangelist Michael P. Bowen refutes Pastor Osteen's false gospel in his helpful book titled: "I NEVER KNEW YOU," chapter 2, page 19.

Jeremiah 23:1-2, “Woe be unto the pastors that destroy and scatter the sheep of my pasture!  saith the LORD. Therefore thus saith the LORD God of Israel against the pastors that feed my people; Ye have scattered my flock, and driven them away, and have not visited them: behold, I will visit upon you the evil of your doings, saith the LORD.” The churches are pathetic today. Formalism is the enemy of the Gospel. I have been in Catholic churches, which feel like spiritual morgues. That is because it is a formalized religion, but the blessed Holy Spirit of God is not present. God is love (1st John 4:8. God cares (1st Peter 5:7). God is faithful (1st Corinthians 1:9). Ephesians 4:30-32 teaches us as believers to be loving, forgiving, kind and tenderhearted one toward another. Yet, we find coldness, covetousness, hypocrisy, a sinful respect of persons, social cliques and a woeful lack of compassion for hurting people in many churches today. Something is very wrong! It is simply because the churches have fallen into the rut of going through the religious motions, not walking close to God, which if they did would produce the fruit of the Holy Spirit (Galatians 5:22-25).

A Preacher Who Walks With God Will Hate Every False Way

A person who walks with God, by abiding in the Word of God, will hate every false way. Psalm 119:104, "Through thy precepts I get understanding: therefore I hate every false way." I hate the New World Order (controlled by the Illuminati). I call them the "Luciferian elite." Alex Jones calls them "Globalists." Commander William Guy Carr refers to the NWO in his books as: "The World Revolutionary Movement." Carr refers to the Illuminati as "Satanists." These are all accurate terms. Satan is "the god of this world" (2nd Corinthians 4:4b). The average preacher doesn't study the NWO, doesn't care at all about it, and won't warn people about it. 

Consequently, tens of thousands of churches are embracing the Devil's NWO Bible versions. As any good coach will tell you: "The best defense is a strong offense!" The churches are biting hook, line and sinker into the NWO because their pastors have failed to educate them. Humbly said, it is because I love God and the inspired Word of God that I hate every false way, as the Bible says in Psalm 119:104. Sadly, over 95% of preachers and pastors today don't seem to hate anything, except not getting paid. Tragically, as I showed you earlier, the United States is departing from faith in God at a rapid pace. Pastors and churches are much to blame, for not strengthening the things that remain, for not contending for the faith!

The Way To Keep Living Is To Fight Dying

The churches are dying because pastors aren't standing. I am hated and despised by local churches on Guam where I live, and all across the world, because I preach THE TRUTH. The shameful Harvest Baptist Church of Guam, where I was welcomed for one year in 2014, axed me like a turkey on Thanksgiving Day when I befriended them with THE TRUTH (as a true friend does). Since late 2014, I have been banned from even attending church, for simply showing them that Lordship Salvation is not the Gospel. I love them, but they don't love me.

Despite my love for them, Harvest's wicked pastors drove me out of their social club in 2014, and have sinfully ostracized me ever since. Neither Pastor Marty Herron nor Pastor Gary Walton would allow me to come back to church. Dear friend, the churches are changing because they aren't fighting not to change. It's like exercising, eating healthy and walking. If a person doesn't fight to stay healthy, we'll get fat and let our health go (now I'm preaching to myself...lol). I have been eating healthier, walking more and I've lost some weight. I feel good, but it is a constant battle. You see, you have to STRENTHEN THE THINGS THAT ARE READY TO DIE to preserve them.

The same is true of churches. By going along with the apostasy everywhere today, and not fighting to stay healthy, the churches are all truth resistant (like insulin resistance), becoming obese with heresy and spiritual disease, dying prematurely. That's a great comparison of what is happening to churches today. Our American churches have become so spoiled rotten, disgustingly fat, financially prosperous and weighed down with social clubs and high society types, that they are as a diseased body with type II diabetes. Churches today are having their bus ministry and weekly soulwinning program amputated. They are truth resistant. You can inject high doses of truth into the average church today, and it won't make a difference, they just laugh at you! 

Kindly said (with candy sprinkles on top), I'm talking about the Bob Jones crowd. I'm talking about Pastor Marty Herron in Iowa at the Faith Baptist Bible College And Theological Seminary. I'm talking about Pastor John MacArthur. These people are alumni of BJU. I'm talking about Harvest Baptist Church of Guam, a dried up barren social club who emphasize the education business at the neglect of the Master's business of soulwinning. These names and institutions have all become truth resistant! You cannot help them, because they are subverted of themselves. Titus 3:10-11, “A man that is an heretick after the first and second admonition reject; Knowing that he that is such is subverted, and sinneth, being condemned of himself.” The Lordship Salvation crowed sinneth. The wrong repentance crowd sinneth. The false Bibles crowd sinneth. They are subverted of themselves. They are TRUTH RESISTANT!!!

The Truth Resistant Harvest Baptist Church Of Guam

I happily attended the Harvest Baptist Church of Guam for a year in 2014. I saw that the church was infected with false Bibles, misunderstood repentance and Lordship Salvation. I gave them an injection of THE TRUTH, as a true friend does. I purchased several hundred dollars of books with my own money for the pastors, to help them to see. I was humble about it. I prayed and asked God to soften their hearts. But once the injection of THE TRUTH was given, I realized quickly that they are TRUTH RESISTANT at Harvest. 

Harvest Baptist Church (HBC) of Guam has spiritual type II diabetes. They have grown so fat with success, money and popularity in the geographical region, known as: The Federated States Of Micronesia, that they are sickly. Harvest's feet and toes are infected, rotting away. Their youth are rotting away with another gospel of Lordship Salvation. Harvest's spiritual glucose level is 400, using 24 different Bible versions among their sickly congregation. I am hated for caring enough to tell them THE TRUTH. Harvest's pastors are infected the most, indifferent as can be, totally truth resistant. You could inject unit after unit of TRUTH into Harvest Baptist Church Guam all day long, and their diseased church body would merely laugh at you, as they laugh at me, literally banning and ostracizing me from attending church since 2014. Harvest is as a dying man with stage 4 Type II diabetes.

The saddest thing is that although Harvest's diseased condition is totally curable, they would rather continue being infected, until every limb has rotted away, and all life is gone. Harvest's shameful pastors are arrogant sinful man, who are as fools who resent being told they are wrong. So they continue leading people into Hell by promoting Dr. Steve Pettit (president of Bob Jones University) who preaches another gospel of partial faith in Christ plus works. HBC sends people to Hell by preaching Lordship Salvation. HBC sends people to Hell by preaching a misunderstood repentance that demands a person “turn away from sin” to go to Heaven. You simply cannot give THE TRUTH to most Baptist churches today, because they have become truth resistant. This is a consequence of the sinful human heart.

Answering the question: “Why Is It So Hard To Convince People That They're Wrong?,” Pam Rose, a clinical psychologist, says:

Some people simply don’t “believe in” evidence. They believe what they want to believe for any number of reasons: to shore up a self-image, to avoid diligence and study, to support a whole system of non-evident beliefs, to remain consistent in their emotional attachments. They listen for support for their existing framework and reject all else: it’s staggering I know but some of us prefer to “like” an idea rather than support it with evidence.

Another huge step is required to convince someone they’re wrong or from a more positive perspective, to teach someone something. The other must agree to be taught by you, psychologically. From grade school teachers to preachers, coaches to politicians, parents (especially of teens!) and between friends, this ephemeral permission- to- learn- from lies between you with your evidence and your potential learner.

With some it seems once they’ve granted the permission to another to teach them, they may refuse to alter that permission despite massive evidence to the lack of fitness of that one to teach anyone anything. They may call it loyalty or commitment; I call it blindly following.

PBS show from years ago focused on a German ship rescuing German civilians from coastal areas of Europe to return them to Germany towards the end of WWII. It sank with 9,000 people, exceeding the Titanic always reputed to be the most souls lost. My good friend, a teacher could not/would not believe me. I was watching it as we spoke by phone and she sputtered, “everybody knows…..I’ve never heard of such a thing…..that’s just not true….etc. I said “It’s here before my eyes, don’t you believe PBS? I just saw full details about it” but she was adamant. I couldn’t change her mind but she changed mine about her. SOURCE

Pam is so right! These ungodly pastors today absolutely refuse to be taught by another preacher who resides outside of their particular religious clique. Just like that foolish teacher who refused to believe that 9,000 people died when the Wilhelm Gustloff ship sank in January of 1945, so also do today's foolish Bob Jones University graduates refuse to believe that God only authored ONE BIBLE (not 2, or 39, or 900). They refuse to believe that Lordship Salvation is a false plan of salvation. They refuse to believe that you don't have to forsake a lifestyle of sinful behavior to be saved. Yet, these things are all true. 

You don't have to stop any sin to be saved. You don't have to follow Jesus as your “Lord” (Boss), surrendering all to Him to receive God's free gift of eternal life. That is why the Bible calls eternal life “a gift,” because you can have it without working or qualifying for it. Literally, Steve Pettit teaches that Heaven is an “award” that you must “qualify” for. That is as Satanic as anything I have ever heard preached from a pulpit. Pettit said that to 2,700 students and faculty at Bob Jones University during chapel on January 26, 2015.

Pastor John MacArthur errantly preaches that salvation is “an exchange” for all that you are for all that Jesus is. Folks, it cannot be a gift then! Either salvation is a trade, an equal exchange of some sorts, or else it is a free gift that you simply receive by faith alone (Galatians 3:26), but it cannot be both. I am saddened and frustrated that so many pastors today refuse to heed THE TRUTH. I am irritated to know that the majority of Baptist pastors have nothing to say in rebuke of Evangelist Ken Ham's false theology, which demands that a person “repent of your sin” to be saved. That is false religion! If a man must cease from fornicating, getting drunk and stealing from his employer to be saved, or prove that he is saved, then eternal life cannot be justly called a “free gift” (Romans 5:15-18).

Is your pastor and congregation TRUTH RESISTANT? If so, your church has been infected with sinful error and pride. There's just something in our sinful human nature that hates being wrong. Carnally-minded people would rather die than admit they are wrong! I used to tell people to “invite Jesus into your heart” to be saved, but I was very wrong. Evangelist Oliver B. Greene used to preach that junk theology and mislead a bunch of people. No, you don't invite Jesus into your heart to be saved, you simply “believe” (trust) on Him as the Bible says. John 6:47, “Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me hath everlasting life.” You cannot show me even one verse that teaches to invite Jesus into your heart. Right doctrine matters! 

If you have become resistant to truth, the remedy is to start eating a healthier spiritual diet (abide in the Scriptures) and exercise your faith by contending for it (Jude 1:3). The pharmaceutical industry needs you to be sick, or they won't make any money. Likewise, the Devil can't deceive you unless you let religion fool you. Satan wants you to become religious, so you won't go to Heaven. Satan's greatest weapon is to con people into living the Christian life without ever being born-again (Matthew 7:21-23). We all need truth! The only way to make the darkness go away is to shine the light of the truth.

Let Not Your Heart Be Troubled

John 14:1-3, “Let not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God, believe also in me. In my Father's house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also.” John 16:33, “These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world.”

The apostle Peter had just denied knowing Jesus three times in John chapter 13. Now in chapter 14 the Lord comforts Peter, letting Him know that the Lord Himself is preparing a place for every believer up in Heaven. This is so beautiful. In God's house there are many mansions. I love when Jesus says, “If it were not so, I would have told you.” The blessed Lord said what He meant, and He meant what He said. You can count on Jesus!!! That is exactly what it means in Romans 10:11, “For the scripture saith, Whosoever believeth on him shall not be ashamed.” If you place your full trust in the Lord Jesus Christ, you will never be disappointed. You won't ever regret receiving Jesus Christ as your personal Savior (John 1:12-13). 

Jesus said, “If it were not so, I would have told you.” That is one reason I know that the story in Luke 16:19-32 is a true story, because if it wasn't Jesus is a deceiver. Jesus didn't say it was a parable, so I'm going to take it as factual. Jesus used proper nouns for names, which He never did when He told parables. Jesus said that Hell has fire. Luke 16:23, “And in hell he lift up his eyes, being in torments, and seeth Abraham afar off, and Lazarus in his bosom. And he cried and said, Father Abraham, have mercy on me, and send Lazarus, that he may dip the tip of his finger in water, and cool my tongue; for I am tormented in this flame.” It would be very wrong (as Mormons and Jehovah's Witnesses errantly do), to say that Jesus was only speaking symbolically, or to call this a parable. If the Bible doesn't call something fiction, than don't you dare call it untrue. Luke 16:19-32 about the rich man and Lazarus is a factual true story. Jesus said, “If it were not so, I would have told you.”

Jesus told Peter not to let his heart be troubled. Is your heart troubled dear friend? John 14:1-3, “Let not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God, believe also in me. In my Father's house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also.” The way to stop being troubled is to BELIEVE in Jesus. Is He your Savior? Trust Him now to forgive your sins and He will. Believe that Jesus died on the cross to pay your debt of sin. Believe that He was buried. And believe that three days later Christ bodily resurrected from the dead for your justification. Jesus raised up to justify our faith in Him, that is was not in vain. If your name is written in Heaven dear reader, then you have very much to rejoice about continually, night and day.

John 16:33, “These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world.” Repeatedly in the Bible we find the Lord encouraging us not to be troubled. The Lord doesn't want us to worry and fret. In Philippians 4:6 we are exhorted to “Be careful for nothing,” that is, don't allow anxiety and stress to rule your life. Bring your cares and troubles to God in prayer, and leave your burden there! Then claim the perfect peace of God, which passeth all understanding (Philippians 4:7). 

The Bible says God cares about you (1st Peter 5:7). If you are like me, and you are, you sometimes begin to doubt if God really cares. He does friend, I assure you! I know God cares because the Bible says that He cares!!! That is walking by faith. If we walk by sight, we might think that God doesn't care, when things are not going well. But we are commanded to walk BY FAITH, trusting the promises of God in the Scriptures. Let not your heart be troubled. That is what Jesus said. Is your heart troubled Oh believer? Get into the Word of God. I am amazed how many Christians are vaguely familiar with the Bible. They have never slept clutching their King James Bible next to their heart. They have never gone to the Scriptures when everything in their life fell apart. You need to do that friend! You need to get into your King James Bible during the dark times, when all hope seems gone, and claim God's promises! THAT IS LIVING BY FAITH!!!

I am not an eloquent writer, but God knows that I have a willing heart to be used of God. The Lord uses me because I am willing to be used. Pastor Jack Hyles used to say concerning Samson, that even though Samson was a crooked stick, God will still make use of a crooked stick if it is yielded to Him. I am grateful to be fit for the Master's use! Isaiah 6:8, “Also I heard the voice of the Lord, saying, Whom shall I send, and who will go for us? Then said I, Here am I; send me.” What a wonderful Savior!

They Called Him “LORD,” But Jesus Didn't Know Them

Matthew 7:20-23 “Wherefore by their fruits ye shall know them. Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven. Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works? And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.”

This is one of the most intriguing and disturbing passages of Scripture. This group of people called Jesus, “LORD, LORD,” but He knew them not. They were not born-again. That is, they were not saved, and they went to Hell to burn forever in their sins. How did this happen? What did they do wrong? Dear friend, they made the fatal mistake that millions of churchgoers are making in America and the world today—they are serving Christ instead of wholly trusting Christ to get to Heaven! The heresy is commonly known as “Lordship Salvation.”

Evangelist Steve Pettit is in this accursed religious group. Dr. Pettit has been the president of Bob Jones University since 2014. Read what Dr. Pettit foolish says:

“For the real reality of the genuineness of your faith is that you are faithful to run the race!” —Dr. Steve Pettit (“What Does It Mean To Run 'The Race'?” - 22:44)

That is not the Gospel of Free Grace dear friend. You don't have to run a race of holiness and serving Christ to prove that you are saved. If that were true, then you could never really know with full confidence that you have been saved. Dr. Pettit further heretically elaborates:

“You can't just speak about getting saved, and you accepted Christ, and then that's it! There is a justification; There is a sanctification; There's ultimately a glorification, and though there are three parts, they are all part of the whole, and you cannot separate them. In order for you to qualify for the award, you have to get into the race, you have to stay in the race, and you have to finish the race. If you want to win, you have to run to the end; and winning in the Christian life is everything, because if you lose—if you don't finish—you lose everything—you lose your SOUL. And so, the Christian race is the life of faith that begins, is run, and is finished when we cross over into Heaven!” [emphasis added] —Dr. Steve Pettit (“What Does It Mean To Run 'The Race'?” - 11:34)

Dear friend, eternal life is a free gift. It is an instantaneous new birth, not a race or a process. Steve Pettit has perverted the new birth into a Marathon Race that must be finished to know for sure that you've qualified for the award. None of that terminology applies to the Gospel. Eternal life is God's free gift (Romans 5:15-18; 6:23; Ephesians 2:8-9), not an award which you must qualify to obtain as Pettit teaches. 

Kindly said, Dr. Pettit is making the same fatal mistake that the people in Matthew 7:21-23 made. They did “many wonderful works” (like run a Bible college), in Jesus' name. They “prophesied” (like Steve Pettit preaches in BJU chapel) in Jesus' name. They called Jesus “LORD, LORD,” but the Savior firmly stated with these horrifying words: “I NEVER KNEW YOU.” Jesus calls them “ye that work iniquity.” Satan's greatest weapon is to con people into living the Christian life without ever being born-again! 

Listen, you don't get saved by running the race friend. You get saved by getting out of the race, and resting wholly in Jesus' name! Hebrews 4:10-11, “For he that is entered into his rest, he also hath ceased from his own works, as God did from his. Let us labour therefore to enter into that rest, lest any man fall after the same example of unbelief.” After six days of creating, God rested on the seventh day. God didn't cease from His sins, God stopped working. John 6:28-29, “Then said they unto him, What shall we do, that we might work the works of God? Jesus answered and said unto them, This is the work of God, that ye believe on him whom he hath sent.” The way you labour (or work) to enter into God's rest is to BELIEVE ON THE LORD JESUS CHRIST. Acts 16:30-31, “And brought them out, and said, Sirs, what must I do to be saved? And they said, Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved, and thy house.” That is the only thing we are told to DO to be saved in the Bible—“Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved” (Acts 16:31b).

I could give you umpteen more examples of Calvinist false prophets today (Ray Comfort, Sam Horn, Marty Herron, John MacArthur, John Piper, R.C. Sproul, Paul Washer, Chip Ingram, William Lane Craig, Stephen Davey; Kevin Bauder, et cetera). Repeatedly in the Holy Bible we are simply taught to BELIEVE to have eternal life. In fact, God authored an entire specific book of the Bible as a God's tract, which is the Gospel of John. We read in John 20:31, “But these are written, that ye might believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God; and that believing ye might have life through his name.” So if all we had was the Gospel of John, we have enough to be saved. Everything that we need to know to obtain eternal life is contained within the pages of John's Gospel. Not even once does John mention the word “repent.” That is because repentance is automatic when one believes. Repentance and faith are simply two sides of one coin. Repentance is a change of mind. The man who changes his mind has done so by believing on Christ.

Salvation is so simple. The Bible even calls it “the simplicity that is in Christ” (2nd Corinthians 11:3-4). God saves a man solely by faith (Galatians 3:26); and then we are sanctified by the Word of God as we walk by faith (John 17:17; 1st Peter 2:2). Becoming a Christian is instantaneous; but becoming Christlike takes a lifetime. The former is salvation (or sonship); the latter is service (or discipleship). Dr. Pettit errantly teaches that sanctification is a package deal with justification, and that you cannot separate the two. So if you aren't being sanctified, Dr. Pettit teaches you've never been justified either. That is the Devil's lie of Lordship Salvation! Evangelist John Bunyan (1628-1688) got it 100% correct, who said:

“If you do not put a difference between justification wrought by the man Christ without and sanctification wrought by the Spirit of Christ within, you are not able to divide the Word aright; but contrariwise, you corrupt the Word of God, and cast stumbling blocks before the people.” [emphasis added] —Evangelist John Bunyan

John Bunyan was a wise man concerning the Gospel. Folks, this is a big deal. There are pastors, Bible colleges and churches everywhere today who are taking this doctrinal matter lightly, as if it doesn't really matter; but it DOES MATTER! Right doctrine matters! The horrified people in Matthew 7:21-23 found out just how much doctrine does matter!!! They called Him “LORD, LORD,” but Christ denied knowing them. The $64,000 question then, dear reader, is not whether or not you know Jesus, but does Jesus know you? Are you one of His redeemed sheep, or are you a tare like the Bob Jones crowd today? 

You had better stop trying to be saved, and you had better start trusting to be saved. You had better stop trying to faithfully “run the race” as Steve Pettit heretically teaches, and stop trying to commit your life to serving Christ as John MacArthur foolishly teaches, and stop trying to “turn away from you sin” as Marty Herron errantly teaches, and instead just “Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved” (Acts 16:31b). If you are ever saved at all, it will be solely because of GOD'S faithfulness, and not in the least part by YOUR faithfulness. Eternal life is a free gift. Salvation is a take proposition, not a give proposition. Salvation is received, not achieved. To be saved, you simply cease from your own works, as God did from His on the seventh day, and you REST completely in the finished redemptive work of cross Who died on the cross for our sins, was buried, and bodily resurrected three days later (1st Corinthians 15:1-4). That is how you get saved Oh needy sinner!

Opinions Don't Overrule Facts

Jeremiah 5:3, “O LORD, are not thine eyes upon the truth? thou hast stricken them, but they have not grieved; thou hast consumed them, but they have refused to receive correction: they have made their faces harder than a rock; they have refused to return.” Jeremiah 9:5, And they will deceive every one his neighbour, and will not speak the truth: they have taught their tongue to speak lies, and weary themselves to commit iniquity.” Joh:8:32, “And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.”

I went for my sunset walk tonight. I am excited about losing weight. I have been drinking whey protein isolate each day from Vitamin World. Just 1 scoop provides 30 grams of protein, which is about half of what my body needs daily. So I take two scoops a day. I take two different brands, the other also contains 8 grams of fiber. And then I have added cooked dry beans as almost a daily part of my diet, which has lowered my blood pressure to normal. I eat little meat, but I love fish and beef a couple times a week. I've been eating Grouper fillets, which is my favorite. Lord willing, I want to lose 20 pounds over the next 2 to 3 months. I lost 5 pounds the past 2 weeks by intermittent fasting. I am walking more and exercising as consistent as my neck injury will allow. Albeit, many days I just need to take it easy and rest.

I really wanted to move away from Guam by my birthday March 5th, but my heart is still on Guam. I love the Harvest Baptist Church of Guam so much, and at least for now, Abby has my heart. I saw her yesterday sweeping across the street and my heart melted. She paused to look at me as I drove by, and I waved with as much love as a man can express in a hand wave. I always wiggle all my fingers, a special wave of love just for Abby, energetically displaying my feelings of passion for her. It is my way of saying, “I want to marry you someday!” I wish Abby could know what is in my heart. She is the sunshine to me. I still plan to move, but when I don't know. My heart just isn't in moving at this time. So I am making the best of my situation, starting out on a new health plan to get into shape. I feel good, despite my neck pain. I am lifting light weights, slimming down, and walking humbly with my God.

Anyway, I just wanted to share a little of my life with you. I like doing that in articles. Literally, you are my family dear reader. I'll be 54 Friday, God willing, but I still feel like I am 18 in mind and body. I was driving to go walking tonight at Asan Beach Park, and I drove by a gas station that daily changes it's sign out front. I have read some great quotes. Several months ago I read: “What you accept into your life becomes a part of you.” That is an awesome quote! Today's message said: “Opinions don't overrule facts.” Wow, that is a good statement! I pondered that truth as I drove by, and as you can imagine, I immediately thought about the Bob Jones crowd.

My regular readers know that I have been at a war of words against Bob Jones University (BJU) and the Harvest Baptist Church of Guam (HBC) since 2014. Pastor Marty Herron started all this, as the “King Shite Cop” in the 1982 blockbuster film, “First Blood.” All I wanted was to eat a spiritual meal each Sunday at Harvest Baptist Church, but he told me to find another church elsewhere. Those were fighting words, for me as much as John J. Rambo. Since when is the New Testament church discriminatory? James 2:1, “My brethren, have not the faith of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Lord of glory, with respect of persons.” Pastor Herron was too proud to apologize or make things right. So far I am the ONLY ONE in all of this who has apologized and tried to make peace. All Harvest's pastors have done is shun me away as an enemy. That is not living by faith.

Respectfully, Pastor Gary Walton (the new senior pastor of Harvest since 2018) feels the same. Pastor Walton is fully aware of the ongoing situation, and my humble desire to make peace with Harvest Baptist Church of Guam (HBC), but as our text verse says from Jeremiah 5:3, “O LORD, are not thine eyes upon the truth? thou hast stricken them, but they have not grieved; thou hast consumed them, but they have refused to receive correction: they have made their faces harder than a rock; they have refused to return.” I promised to keep quite at church and just listen for my own benefit, but they still refuse. Folks, in case you don't know, there are not TWO different types of New Testament churches. Either Harvest is sinfully discriminating against me, or they are a religious cult. No true church would refuse to allow a broken man who is willing to cooperate to attend church services. Something is very wrong!

Without further ado, opinions don't overrule facts! Everyone has a right to their own opinion, but no one has a right to their own facts. No doubt many people would dismiss my preaching against BJU and HBC as a mere difference of opinion, but that would be partly false. If I say that 2 + 2 = 4, but some liberal nut says that it really equals 5, then it is party true that we differ in opinion. But what is 100% true is that our difference in opinion doesn't overrule THE FACT that 2 + 2 = 4. You can say 2 + 2 = 7 or 2 + 2 = 3 all you want, but your opinion doesn't overrule the FACT that 2 + 2 = 4. 

Likewise, our difference in opinion (between me and Harvest Baptist Church of Guam and Bob Jones University), doesn't overrule THE FACT that God only authored ONE BOOK. God did not author 2 Bibles, nor 39, nor 900. Yet, how did we end up with TWO conflicting ancient texts today? These ancient texts disagree about 2%. That may not seem like a lot. However, many of the Scripture passages which differ corrupt the deity of Jesus. The Brooke Westcott and Fenton Hort translations have Satan written all over them! Remember that rat poison is 99% wholesome food and less than 1% poison! Please think about that. It is a fact that God only authored one inspired Book, so we absolutely cannot have two different accurate English Bibles today. This is a FACT! 

If you talk to someone from the Bob Jones crowd, they will debate with you, saying that there cannot possibly be only one good English Bible. But dear friend, here are THE FACTS of the matter...

The above picture speaks 1,000 words in defense of the King James Bible. All of today's new Bible revisions have been changed merely to meet U.S. copyright laws, which demand that any new work seeking copyright contain substantial and creative changes in content, and not be a mere copy. This means that wicked people are torturing and butchering the inspired Word of God, just so they can get a stupid copyright to sell it, and sue anybody who threatens their money gained from sales. THIS IS A FACT dear reader, not merely my opinion. Yet if you go read the advertising pitch given by each and every one of these ungodly publishers, they will all claim that their new translation is based upon the most diligent translating work, using the most trustworthy scholarship. THEY ARE ALL SATANIC LIARS!!!

I also bring your attention to the Gospel. According to BJU's website, you MUST repent and turn away from your sins to be saved. That is their opinion! The FACT of the matter is that you cannot show me one place in the entire King James Bible where it says to “repent of your sin” or “turn from your sin” to be saved. Only in the Devil's modern perversions of the Bible will you find such blatant incompetent translating. I love the Bob Jones crowd so much! I tried to marry a nurse from BJU at Harvest, but she didn't want me, and I am heartbroken. I have since fallen in love with another young gal, Abby, but she likewise doesn't want me. I think about her every day. She is my sunshine, but I am just a distant passing cloud to her. Rejection hurts so much. I could have been married a long time ago, to a girl 25 years old in the Philippines if I wanted, but I want to marry someone that I love.

Anyway, despite the sharp contrast in opinion between me as a fundamentalist Baptist preacher, and the Neo-evangelical Bob Jones crowd, the FACTS are on my side. God only authored one Book. So whenever we find blatant contradictions, inconsistencies and hundreds of Bible verses completely missing in the modern Bible revisions, they simply CANNOT all be God's infallible and inspired Word. Consequently, today's ungodly religious Hebrew and Greek scholars tell everyone that we don't have an inspired, perfect, infallible or innerant Bible today. They tell us that at best all we have is a flawed best manmade attempt to produce a mostly accurate text, based on multiple conflicting ancient texts. Folks, if you buy into their lies you are a darn fool. I don't believe them for one second! We DO have a perfect, inerrant, infallible and inspired Bible today in the King James Bible!!!!!!!

Opinions don't overrule facts! The FACTS are on my side. I was saved at age 13. That is a fact. I have only used and preached from the King James Bible all my life. Therefore, I see quickly what is wrong with these Devil's Bibles today. They don't say the same thing, not even close in many cases to the King James Bible! These new Bibles may seem easier to understand, but in FACT, they are impossible to understand when corrupted. When the Easy-To-Read Version (ESV) tells you to “change your life” to be saved in Mark 1:15, that makes it impossible to get saved. The King James Bible simply says to “Repent, and believe the gospel.” The word “repent” in the King James simply means “to think differently.” By changing this passage to require changing one's life, it now predicates salvation upon works.

You DON'T have to change your life to receive God's free gift of eternal life. That is why it is a gift (Romans 6:23; Ephesians 2:8-10). Good works are good and commanded by God (Romans 3:31). They are willful acts of obedience for the person indwelled by God and living in obedience to Him (John 14:15). Just do not believe that they have anything to do with saving your soul (Romans 3:19-20). If you believe that good works, or the good life that you live, contributes to your salvation, then you are believing in yourself to save you, not Jesus (Romans 10:3-4). You'll end up burning in Hell someday going that route (Matthew 7:21-23). Believe in Jesus alone to save you and you will be saved (John 3:15-16; Galatians 3:26).

Opinions don't overrule facts! This dreary and relentless ongoing war between me and the indifferent Bob Jones University crowd is not merely about differences of opinion. I plead with your dear reader to look at THE FACTS. Here is an in-depth rebuttal of the English Standard Version (ESV) which BJU uses, sells and sanctions. BJU has blood on their hands. These modern Devil's Bibles are a hindrance to soulwinning, because they corrupt what it means to repent and how to be saved. They Devil is secularizing the Bible, transforming it into a mere spiritual religious book instead of a theological Book of God's Word. Dear friend, I care! I do not claim to be a good Christian, but I am 100% sincere and I do walk with God. I love people, despite coming across as rude and offensive sometimes. I am not cocky, I am confident. I am not trying to be rude, I simply speak my mind. I am sick and tired of being rejected, shunned and ostracized by Harvest Baptist Church on Guam. All I did was try to help them see THE FACTS. 

Let's look at Matthew 8:2 shall we. Do you see how only the King James Bible accurately says that a leper “WORSHIPPED” Jesus, but all the Devil's modern revisions merely say that the leper “knelt” or “bowed.” It is obvious that the Devil and his crowd don't like Jesus' deity, so they removed it. This is a FACT! Only the King James Bible honors the Lord by giving Him the worship that He is due and deserves as almighty God in the flesh (1st Timothy 3:16). Hey, take a look at what the modern Devil's Bibles do to torture 1st Timothy 3:16. 

These are FACTS folks, which cannot be disputed or dismissed. I am sick and tired of the Bob Jones crowd downplaying this issue as if people like me are making a fuss over a trifle matter. Look how important the Bible is to God. Psalm 138:2, “I will worship toward thy holy temple, and praise thy name for thy lovingkindness and for thy truth: for thou hast magnified thy word above all thy name.” I could go on for hours!!! These are undisputable FACTS. God elevates His Word above His name. The reason why is obvious, because just as a man's word is his bond, so also is the same true of our great God. God's Word is His bond. If one verse in the Bible is untrue or inaccurate, then none of it can be trusted. Tell one lie and all your truth becomes suspect! 

What a great truth! Opinions don't overrule facts! That is so very true! Bob Jones University will dismiss everything I say as me being brainwashed by Pastor Jack Hyles (1926-2001), since I graduated in 1993 from Hyles-Anderson College. I am very thankful for that wonderful opportunity. I love all my teachers at HAC and the people I met and served in the ministry together while there. There was no internet back then. I drove back and forth 50 miles every day to school for 8 years to get my Pastoral Theology degree. I earned it in blood, sweat and tears (literally)! I give God all the credit, praise and glory for anything good accomplished through this humble broken sinner. 

Oh how I wish Harvest Baptist Church of Guam would humble themselves as I have to THE TRUTH. I humbled myself to their pastors in 2017 three times, for which they threw me under the bus, kicking me in the head and leaving me for dead. Those are wicked men! And now I pray and wish that Pastor Gary Walton would befriend the truth, and me, and that Harvest would become a soulwinning church on Guam. I wish I had a church to go soulwinning with. Harvest are so busy making money in the education business with their schools, that they have neglected the Master's business of soulwinning! 

Sadly, Guam is going to Hell. I witness to people all the time, but I have no church to invite them to. Harvest won't even let me come to church, go figure. Instead of being a lighthouse beacon on the island of Guam for Christ, Harvest Baptist Church is a secluded cult-like religious group. They are merely four walls and a roof. I just don't understand their attitudes at Harvest. I really don't. Pride keeps men from doing the right thing. This is not between me and Harvest, it is between THE TRUTH and Harvest. The FACTS are on my side, which is why I preach so strong and without apology. I love you all so much with God's unconditional love.

Even Our Very Words Will Be Judged By God

Matthew 12:35-37, “A good man out of the good treasure of the heart bringeth forth good things: and an evil man out of the evil treasure bringeth forth evil things. But I say unto you, That every idle word that men shall speak, they shall give account thereof in the day of judgment. For by thy words thou shalt be justified, and by thy words thou shalt be condemned.”

If people could grasp the utter extent to which God is going to hold them accountable in eternity, they would tremble in horror! Our text passage warns that God will hold men accountable even for their words. Hebrews 4:13, “Neither is there any creature that is not manifest in his sight: but all things are naked and opened unto the eyes of him with whom we have to do.” We all have an appointment with death (Hebrews 9:27). We all have an appointment future time of judgment before our Creator. Hopefully He is also your personal Savior! Unsaved people will be judged by God the Father at The Great White Throne Of Judgment (Revelation 20:11-15). Saved people will be judged by Jesus Christ at The Judgment Seat Of Christ (1st Corinthians 3:11-15; 2nd Corinthians s 5:9-11). 

The latter will be as a civil court, where we will stand to lose rewards and will experience shame, tears and regret over our failures as Christians. Many will “suffer loss” (1st Corinthians 3:15). The former will be as a criminal court, where all Christ-rejecters will be sentenced according to their works to be punished in the Lake of Fire forever. Nothing shall escape the omniscience, omnipresence and omnipotent judgment of Almighty God! Even our idle (wasted) words must be accounted for. How much more shall we give account for our words of deceit, hatred, unjust anger, insensitive and cruel remarks toward other's feelings. 

Years ago I had attempted to move from Guam to Hilo, Hawaii. It was very important that I find a doctor in Hilo who could and would prescribe my needed pain medications. I found and called a chiropractor in Hilo to inquire. The receptionist on the phone assured me that the doctor could prescribe my needed drugs, and that he was licensed as a chiropractor to administer pain medications. I was so delighted. I was a bit skeptical, because what she told me is very rare, so I called back to confirm. She 100% assured me that I could get my pain medications without any problems. Well, she lied to me! When I arrived in Hilo, the chiropractor not only said that he couldn't prescribe drugs, but didn't even know where to send me! 

I kindly explained to the woman, and a female co-worker in the office, what pain and grief she had caused me. I explained that I forgave her because I am a Christian, but she should be careful in the future about giving out false information. It hurt more than I can express in words, when she and her co-worker laughed behind my back as I walked away, making a joke. I wanted to turn back and yell at them. I thought about going back during the night and slamming a big brick through their clinic window. But I realized that I would likely end up in jail, and it would just add insult to my injury. 

So, I gave that crime (and it was a crime in God's eyes) committed by those two females to God for judgment. If the Holy Bible is the inspired Word of God, then according to Matthew 12:36 those women are in big trouble with God. They have no idea the wasted money, time, grief and suffering that she caused me, by giving wrong information. And then she laughs at me, like it's all a big joke! I pray for God to avenge me thoroughly! Matthew 18:6, “But whoso shall offend one of these little ones which believe in me, it were better for him that a millstone were hanged about his neck, and that he were drowned in the depth of the sea.” I long for the day to see that cruel woman again in eternity, and God judges her for not caring, for her attitude of indifference, for taking my calamity that she caused as if it were a laughing matter! Oh how the tears will flow! Oh how the wicked will shudder in horror, as their sins (even their hurtful words) are held against them in God's court.

I could tell you hundreds of such stories of how ungodly people have hurt me, both in deeds and words. Some of them were professed Christians. Many of them were unsaved reprobates. Most of them, I am not sure of their salvation. But saved or unsaved, all men and women must give account for even their words. Judgment day is coming! Mankind is inherently sinful. Albeit, as such, I believe most people want to do good, despite being sinful. I don't think most people want to hurt other people's feelings; but regardless, we must give account to God if we do, especially if we did it on purpose! Many people ought to shudder in fear and horror, because of the tens of thousands of sins they must answer for!

To slander others is a sin of the mouth. To gossip, lie and spread rumors is a sin of the mouth. To talk too much leads to sinning, because we start saying things we ought never say. Proverbs 10:19, “In the multitude of words there wanteth not sin: but he that refraineth his lips is wise.” A wise man keeps his mouth shut most of the time. One's teeth are as bars, caging the beast of the tongue! When the beast is let out of its cage, beware! James 3:8, “But the tongue can no man tame; it is an unruly evil, full of deadly poison.” The heart is desperately wicked the Bible says, full of deceit (Jeremiah 17:9). As born-again Christian believers, may we all say less, sin less and sit less in the year ahead, glorifying our Father which is in Heaven (1st Corinthians 6:20). For we must all give account someday to God.
