2nd Timothy 3:1-5, “This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come. For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, Without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good, Traitors, heady, highminded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God; Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away.”

Liberalism has completely failed, bringing down society along with itself. The country I live in today bears no resemblance to the one I grew up in. A homogeneous population with a common set of beliefs has been turned into a tower of babel in which there are no common interests. Christianity, the basis for moral behavior, has been marginalized. Crime has exploded.
Truth has been supplanted by narratives that serve special interests and the further breakup of society. Feminism has destroyed the relationship between men and women, further weakening family and society. Business serves profit at all costs. Constitutional rights are set aside for the purpose of creating race-based privileges for favored groups.
The purpose of education has changed from enculturation to destruction of the belief system. Perversity has been normalized while normality is ostracized. This is the complete destruction of a civilization. READ MOREAmen and amen! Even so, come, Lord Jesus!
There is nothing new under the sun. When I think about the United States today, I am often reminded of another applicable Scripture passage from the Old Testament...
Isaiah 1:4-6, “Ah sinful nation, a people laden with iniquity, a seed of evildoers, children that are corrupters: they have forsaken the LORD, they have provoked the Holy One of Israel unto anger, they are gone away backward. Why should ye be stricken any more? ye will revolt more and more: the whole head is sick, and the whole heart faint. From the sole of the foot even unto the head there is no soundness in it; but wounds, and bruises, and putrifying sores: they have not been closed, neither bound up, neither mollified with ointment.”
Could there be a more applicable Scripture passage, which practically gives the coordinates of the United States? This Bible passage is about Israel, but it is equally applicable to our nation today. From the sole of the foot to the crown of our head, we are terminally sick as a nation.
Even so, come, Lord Jesus!
