We all have heavy burdens, sad and painful memories from the past, things that frustrated us daily, heartaches, regrets, troublesome sins and bad habits, worries and areas of weakness and struggle, et cetera. The Bible teaches that Christians ought to BEAR ONE ANOTHER BURDENS. Pastor Jack Hyles (1926-2001) said that if there was one thing that he could teach his church coingregation, other than how to get to Heaven, it would be to “GET OUT OF THE SELF LIFE!” I say amen to that!
The heathen worlld as a general rule doesn't care about others. I had been a loyal customer at Amazon.com for 20 years. I never caused any trouble. I enjoy writing, which is one reason why I started a website ministry and blog. I also have enjoyed writing Amazon reviews on several hundred products I have purchased over 20 years. Unfortunately in August of 2024, I was horribly falsely accused of “Hate Speech” by Amazon's Community Standards Group for merely mentioning the 1970's teleivion show, “The Little Rascals.” I'm not kidding, Amazon's dumb employees accused me of using Hate Speech. They thought I was calling children “rascals,” but I wasn't, I was refering to a television series in the 1970's. Amazon has gone insane! What blows my mind is that Amazon's owner, Jeff Bezos, has given autonomy to a group of fool. Their names (Nabeeshm, Kayem) indictate that they're all outsourced from India. What is wrong with Jeff Bezos?
Anyway, I made a mistake by telling Amazon\s Communtiy Standards Group what I thought about their remarks. I called them “idiots.” That's all it took for them to permanentlt ban me from writing any more product reviews. I also found hundreds of other frustrated Amazon customers who've also been banned from writing reviews. I was going to write another review to add to this list of angry customers, but Amazon turned off the ability to add comments. I'm sure there are THOUSANDS of upset and frustrated customers by now! Amazon has really gone downhill in recent years in customer support. Amazon treats people like garbage!
I have apologized several times, both to their overseas customer support (South Africa, Philippines, India) and to the Community Standards Department, but they are full of sinful pride and arrogance, refusing to budge. Amazon has customer support all over the world, but they are low level employees with no power to make any decisions. The Community Fools told me they've made a final decision and will never allow me to write reviews again. I wish I had the power to fire every one of them for being abusive!!! I will have to trust the Lord to deal with them (Isaiah 13:11). The inspired Holy Bible warns that if you refuse to forgive others, neither will God forgive you (Matthew 7:1-2). Amazon won't forgive me for telling them off, because they FALSELY ACCUSED ME of hate speech, when I did no such thing. They lied and bared false witness against me, both horrible sins.
I shared this unfortunate experience in my recent life to help others. We all have to deal with stuff like this, dealing with wicked and unreasonable people. 2nd Thessalonians 3:2, “And that we may be delivered from unreasonable and wicked men: for all men have not faith.” The Holy Spirit has to continually remind me that as a child of God I am not of this world. We are pilgrims just passing through, this world is not our home. We are not settlers, thank God! No doubt Amazon's foolish and hateful employees don't know Jesus Christ, for if they did they would be willing to forgive others and give customers some leeway.
Amazon's founder Jeff Bezos has a sickening net worth of $211,000,000,000, yet is such a small man that he couldn't care less about his customers. I have been mistreated, abused and hurt as a 20-year loyal customer of Amazon, and no one cares at their company. Amazon has outsourced everything involving operations to foreign countries. I even mailed a letter to 202 Westlake Avenue in Seattle, Amazon's coprporate headquarters, asking for their help, but they didn't even bother to repspond. I'm sure they filed my letter into their circular filing cabinet (i.e., a trash pail).
Jeff Bezos has blood on his hands! He is accountable for the innocent people that his employees hurt. It's not like I didn't bring this matter to their attention. I have called customer support umpteen times, but they are powerless to do anything. The Community Standards Office has some level of executive privledge given to them, like children being handed a dangerous loaded gun to play with. Amazon doesn't care, because they have grown so big. Thankfully there is a caring God in Heaven who misses nothing (Hebrews 4:13). God hears the cry of the victims. Genesis 18:20-21, “And the LORD said, Because the cry of Sodom and Gomorrah is great, and because their sin is very grievous; I will go down now, and see whether they have done altogether according to the cry of it, which is come unto me; and if not, I will know.”
So that was my burden this week...lol. What was yours? We all have burdens. I figure if the biggest burden I've had lately is Amazon mistreating me as a longtime loyal customer, I have nothing to complain about. God is so good! What hurts so much is that I really thought as a longtime faithful customer that I actually meant something to the company, but now I know that I mean absolutely NOTHING to Amazon. No surprise there, huh? I guess I should have known.
This evil world never meets anyone halfway on anything! I mean, in a fair system, when you spend tens of thousands of dollars at a company, a good group of people would honor you enough to let you write product reviews (for things you've purchased) after you apologize for getting upset with them for accusing you of a crime. Hate Speech is a crime in the United States. Amazon accused me of committing a crime, which greatly offended me. I told them what I thought. Although I don't regret what I said, I regret saying it in hindsight, because now I've been banned from wriitng product reviews. They are abusive at Amazon!!!
So, I have filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureas (BBB) against Amazon. I was not surprised to see over 50,000 complaints filed at the BBB against Amazon. Only 22,000 have been resolved. Amazon needs to do MUCH better!!! I also filed a complaint with the Federal Trade Commisison (FTC) against Amazon, because it is against the law to censor a customer from expressing their honest opinion. I will be terminating my own account soon. I will leave with my dignity. Walmart has most of the merchandise that Amazon has, and Walmart also offers free shipping on all orders over $35. I've started ordering from Walmart.
I may open a new account with Amazon at a later time. But since they will flag my old phone number, I will need a new phone number. Thankfully, Google offers a free new phone number with Google Voice. If you already have Gmail, just go up to the right corner and click on the square with the 9 dots, and scroll down to “Google Voice.” It is totally free. Once you sign up and choose a new phone number, when people call your new number Google will forward the message to your old phone number. Text messages will go to your email.
I like Amazon's free shipping on orders over $35, and that they pay for return shipping if you need to return an item. So, I may open another account, but I very likely won't ever write another product review, since they are abusive and crazy. Sadly, their customer support is ZERO. What incompetent fools! Shame on Amazon's owners!!!
I've had to take this burden to the Lord in recent weeks, because it has saddened me, being treated like garbage by a company that I supported for 20 years, and of whom I sincerely thought I meant something. When bad things like this happen, I always go to the Lord, giving Him my heavy burdens, realizing that this world is not my home, I'm just passing through.
I don't care of your 8 years old, or 80 years old, life will cause you much grief, pain and heartaches. It may be that your cat died of lukemia (like mine did as a boy), or your cat gettng hit by a car. My cat (Mr. Black) got hit by a car in March of 2007 and died, the same month that my wife's divorce from me was finalyzed. I wanted to die too, but God's love sustained me. We cannot escape life's bitterness and pain, but we don't have to suffer alone, Jesus is a friend who sticketh closer than a brother. Without the Lord, we would be doomed!
Whatever your burden is at this moment dear reader, leave it at Jesus' feet. 1st Peter 5:7, “Casting all your care upon him; for he careth for you.” I admit that I oftentimes feel like God is nowhere to be found. I get frustrated that I cannot see His hand at work in my life, but I have learned to trust the GREAT HEART of God. In the Old Testament book of Esther, “God” is not mentionbed even one time. Yet, we see God's hand at work throughout the book, as He dealt wiht those who trusted in Him. So, remember that when you cannot see the HAND of God working in your life, trust the HEART of our dear Savior and God.
Hebrews 11:24-27, “By faith Moses, when he was come to years, refused to be called the son of Pharaoh's daughter; Choosing rather to suffer affliction with the people of God, than to enjoy the pleasures of sin for a season; Esteeming the reproach of Christ greater riches than the treasures in Egypt: for he had respect unto the recompence of the reward. By faith he forsook Egypt, not fearing the wrath of the king: for he endured, as seeing him who is invisible.”
I love that! Moses saw God, WHO IS INVISIBLE. Do you see Him friend? I do. I see God in nature and the universe around us. I see Him in the inspired Holy Bible. I perceive God's Holy Spirit in me as His child (1st John 3:24). Yes, I see God. Romans 1:20a says, “For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made...” Anyone can see God, if you want to. I see Him clearly. I don't always feel the Lord's presence in my life, nor do I feel like He answers my prayers most times, but I know He is present and I trust Him based upon the truth of the Scripture.
The Bible says in 1st Peter 5:7 that God cares about me, so I believe that He does.
The Bible says in 1st Corinthians 1:9 that God is faithful, so I believe that He is.
The Bible says in John 3:16 that God loves me, so I believe that He does.
The lost heathen world continually challenge and place God on trial. I refuse to succumb to such an ungrateful spirit toward my Creator, God. I 100% agree with my friend Job, who said in Job 13:15, “Though he slay me, yet will I trust in him: but I will maintain mine own ways before him.” It is not meant for mankind to understand God; but rather, just to trust Him.
When we walk with the Lord in the light of His Word,
What a glory He sheds on our way!
While we do His good will, He abides with us still,
And with all who will trust and obey.Refrain:
Refrain:
Trust and obey, for there’s no other way
To be happy in Jesus, but to trust and obey.
