We Have Total Liberty In Saving Grace

Religion is the “try harder” salvation; with the Gospel of grace, you get to be you. I love that truth! In false religion there is always something else that you must do either be or remain saved; but in the true Gospel Christ did it all for us, and there are no stipulations, obligations or requirements to keep saved. It's a done deal from the moment that you trusted Jesus!

People are so very confused nowadays about The Gospel. Anything past Grace is you doing the work that Christ has already done. Anything that you do in addition to just resting (trusting) in what Christ has already done through Calvary's cross to pay for your sins is WORKS.

A ministry friend shared the following precious testimony with me today...
People are so very confused about The Gospel: Anything past Grace is you doing the work that Christ has already done. I witnessed to a customer yesterday, to the point that tears were coming from his eyes, when I told him that he is free in what Jesus has already finished [what he (the customer) is trying to do]. I told him Jesus has Nothing to Work with, until he accepts the Freedom and the gift that has already been given to him the day he believed. 
His mind was bound by things he thought he had to be doing. It's like giving a child a bicycle and they keep coming back asking if they can keep the bike. Well, yes, I gave it to you. It's Free. Then a few days goes by and she says, “Daddy are you sure I can keep this bike, I really love it?” To which the Dad says, “Girl you gotta quit asking for something you already have.” Now go on and have fun with your new bike, it's Finished.
I wanted to share this moving story with you, because it's a big problem everywhere today. Billions of churchgoers are still trapped in bondage to religion, trying to turn from their sins and live an upright life for fear of not going to Heaven. Dear reader, Jesus has already paid the full price for your sins! You're either resting in His finished work, or else you are only partially trusting Christ, plus something more (which is a counterfeit plan of salvation). Religion is the “try harder” salvation; with the Gospel of grace, you get to be you. That is, you can still live a lifestyle of sin and go to Heaven.

Sonja Lee Lester England Is An Unsaved False Prophet

I have some friends on Facebook who are not saved. However, if they are a hardened false teacher, I don't accept (or I unfriend them if I unknowingly have already accepted them as a friend). I unfriended Sonja Lee Lester England today, because I want no part of her wickedness. I don't want to wickedly bid her Godspeed (2nd John 1:11). She posted the following junk theology on her Facebook page. Dangerous False Teaching!

Kindly said, Sonja is a fool. She is mixing works with grace, wickedly perverting the Gospel of grace. The slanderous term “Greasy Grace blasphemes the grace of God! You've likely also heard the derogatory phrase Cheap Grace.” Dear reader, grace is not cheap, it is completely FREE! Jesus paid the ultimate price, sacrificing His life on the cross to pave the way for humanity to have eternal life, for anyone who wants it.

Sonja is a false convert, whose mind has been poisoned by neo-evangelical preachers. You'll find such ungodly wolves in sheep's clothing at Pensacola Christian College. The Gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ is under malicious attack today like never before. Sadly, the biggest threat is coming from tainted neo-evangelical Bible colleges!

Sonja's mind has been blinded by Satan concerning the Gospel. In her rotted brain, you're not saved if you're still living a lifestyle of sinning. But dear reader, we ALL live a lifestyle of sin! You are woefully deceived if you think that you're not as sinful as the next guy. In God's eyes you're either washed in the blood of Jesus, or you're not. In God's mind there are only two groups of people: Saved and Lost.

The ESV Corrupts Matthew 18:6

Whoever made this meme used the corrupt English Standard Version (ESV) of the Bible. The Bible doesn't use the word “sin, the ESV translators did. The inspired King James Bible uses the word “offend.” Let's examine Matthew 18:6, shall we? ...
KING JAMES BIBLE (KJB) - Matthew 18:6, “But whoso shall offend one of these little ones which believe in me, it were better for him that a millstone were hanged about his neck, and that he were drowned in the depth of the sea.

ENGLISH STANDARD VERSION (ESV) - Matthew 18:6, “but whoever causes one of these little ones who believe in me to sin, it would be better for him to have a great millstone fastened around his neck and to be drowned in the depth of the sea.
Carefully notice Matthew 18:7, “And whoso shall receive one such little child in my name receiveth me. Jesus is warning everyone not to harm a child, and by extension a child of God (i.e., one who believes in Him). The ESV translators perverted God's Word, totally altering the meaning of the Scripture. Sonja's mind has been poisoned by Satan's corrupt Bible revisions. The Devil's modern Bible PERversions are the shaky foundation of the accursed neo-evangelical movement. Bob Jones University uses the toxic ESV, preaches the damnable heresy of Lordship Salvation and is a bigoted hateful religious cult. I learned that painful fact firsthand at the Harvest Baptist Church on Guam (a repository of shameful BJU graduates).

I beseech you dear reader to reject the Satanic idea that you cannot commit adultery, fornicate, get drunk, steal, lie, lust, be a homosexual and still go to Heaven. But wait a minute! Doesn't the Bible warn that sinners cannot go to Heaven? What saith the Scripture? ...
1st Corinthians 6:9-11, “Know ye not that the unrighteous shall not inherit the kingdom of God? Be not deceived: neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate, nor abusers of themselves with mankind, Nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners, shall inherit the kingdom of God. And such were some of you: but ye are washed, but ye are sanctified, but ye are justified in the name of the Lord Jesus, and by the Spirit of our God.
Please don't overlook verse 11, “but ye are washed...” That is the key! If you have been born-again by faith alone in Jesus as your Savior, then you're sins have all been WASHED AWAY by Jesus' precious blood. So, from that time forward (from the moment you were saved), God the Father only sees the imputed righteousness of His only begotten Son, and not our sins (Romans 4:5-6). Your POSITION in Christ was forever settled at the time of the new birth; but your CONDITION in Christ is a separate matter of SERVICE, not SALVATION.

My favorite preacher's quote is from John Bunyan (1628-1688)...
“If you do not put a difference between justification wrought by the man Christ without, and sanctification wrought by the Spirit of Christ within, you are not able to divide the Word aright; but contrariwise, you corrupt the Word of God, and cast stumbling blocks before the people.” —John Bunyan
Bravo John Bunyan! He clearly understood the vast difference between justification (the new birth), versus sanctification (discipleship). We absolutely must put a distinct difference between these two things, lest we corrupt the inspired Word of God and cast stumbling blocks before the people. Pastor M.R. DeHaan (1891-1965) also well understood this truth. Here is an excellent quote by Pastor DeHaan explaining the difference between coming to Christ for salvation versus coming after Christ in discipleship:
"There is a vast difference between coming to Jesus for salvation and coming after Jesus for service. Coming to Christ makes one a believer, while coming after Christ makes one a disciple. All believers are not disciples. To become a believer one accepts the invitation of the Gospel, to be a disciple one obeys the challenge to a life of dedicated service and separation. Salvation comes through the sacrifice of Christ; discipleship comes only by sacrifice of self and surrender to His call for devoted service. Salvation is free, but discipleship involves paying the price of a separated walk. Salvation can't be lost because it depends upon God's faithfulness, but discipleship can be lost because it depends upon our faithfulness." —M.R. DeHaan, Hebrews; Zondervan Publishing House, 1959 (p. 117)
Amen and amen. Christ died for our sins and only asks that we place our trust in Him alone to be saved. Christ does NOT demand that we first promise to be willing to reform our life of sinful ways in order to receive His free gift. Remember, a gift to truly be a “gift” must be completely free, having no stipulations or obligations to receive it.

Very few churchgoers understand this vital foundational truth from the Bible. So, if you choose to commit adultery, fornicate, lust, cheat and hurt other people, you CANNOT lose God's free gift of eternal life. How could you lose by BAD WORKS, that which you did not acquire by GOOD WORKS? Salvation is by God's undeserving GRACE. Someone has expressed GRACE as an acronym: (God's Riches At Christ's Expense).

Please do not misunderstand, I am not teaching that God is okay with a believer living in sin. Yet, that is exactly what we all do. No matter how much you may think that you've reformed your life of your former sinful ways, you are still a horrible sinner. James 2:10, For whosoever shall keep the whole law, and yet offend in one point, he is guilty of all. So, there is no such thing as turning from all your sins. At best all you can do is clean up your life, but in God's sight you'll still be guilty if you're not saved. And if you are saved, no amount of sinning could ever jeopardize your security in Christ as His redeemed child. As long as someone associates human behaviour with God's gift of eternal life, they cannot be saved.

In the following Scripture passage, the Apostle Paul makes it abundantly plain that ONCE SAVED, ALWAYS SAVED! If we choose to continue in sin (a flagrant disregard for God's law), GRACE will much more abound, so that we could NEVER lose God's PROMISE of eternal life to them that believe (1st Corinthians 1:21b). ...
Romans 6:1-2, “What shall we say then? Shall we continue in sin, that grace may abound? God forbid. How shall we, that are dead to sin, live any longer therein?”
But Paul also says that just because we can sin with impunity (as far as eternal life is concerned), this does NOT make it okay to disregard God's law. Romans 3:31, “Do we then make void the law through faith? God forbid: yea, we establish the law.” Now that we are no longer under the curse of the law (Galatians 3:10-13), but are under grace and have complete liberty in Christ—we are expected by God to KEEP THE LAW (not to be saved, nor maintain salvation status); but rather, to please our heavenly Father as His redeemed child.

Dangerous False Teaching

Do you see how Sonja exaggerates and perverts the truth of God into a lie? Lordshippers always imply that just because we believe in a free grace Gospel without behaviour modification, that we endorse living in gross immorality. But nothing could be further from THE TRUTH! No Christian has God's permission to commit sin!!! Hebrews 12:6-8 warns that God will scourge and chastise His children when we sin (and we all do sin continually).

Sonja's memes gives the false impression that free grace believers are glad to commit sin with impunity, which just shows how wilfully arrogant they are against the truth of a free grace Gospel. The Bible teaches that the new birth is WITHOUT WORKS (Romans 4:5-6; Ephesians 2:8-9; Titus 3:5). Getting saved in no way obligates nor guarantees that your behavior will change as a believer. Please RUN away from anyone who associates behavior modification with being born-again.

The new birth is a free gift from God, because Jesus paid for it with His precious blood. Religion is the “try harder” salvation; with the Gospel of grace, you get to be you. Anyone who tries to put a guilt trip on you as Christian, for the sins in your life, they are of the Devil. The fact that the saved man in 1st Corinthians 3:15 received no rewards at the Judgment Seat of Christ; yet was still saved, proves that you can live a wasted sinful life and still go to Heaven. The manner in which a believer chooses to live will determine our REWARDS in Heaven, not our DESTINATION. Faith is the only righteous thing that I can do.

The inspired Holy Bible says in Titus 2:12, “Teaching us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly, in this present world;
  • Roman Catholicism errantly says you MUST do works to be saved.
  • Calvinism errantly says you WILL do good works if you are saved.
  • The Holy Bible says you SHOULD do good works if you are saved.
Religion is the “try harder” salvation; with the Gospel of grace, you get to be you. I am not picking on Sonja; but rather, I am using her as an example of someone who is woefully caught between grace and works, still unsaved, hellbound in false religion. I hope and pray dear reader that you see the great folly in her false teachings.

Salvation is not a reward for the righteous, it is a gift for the guilty!

Salvation is not doing your best, it is having Christ's best put to your account through receiving Him by faith.

Turning away from sinful ways would be a work. Faith puts all of the merit where it belongs, on the object of our faith, Jesus and His work.

If to “repent” means to forsake our sinful ways TO BE SAVED, but Jesus already paid for our sins by dying on the cross, then what are we repenting from?

The true Gospel always points you to CHRIST; a false gospel always points to YOU.
