It's The Pastor's Job To Preach, Not To Build The Church

2nd Timothy 4:1-5, “I charge thee therefore before God, and the Lord Jesus Christ, who shall judge the quick and the dead at his appearing and his kingdom; Preach the word; be instant in season, out of season; reprove, rebuke, exhort with all longsuffering and doctrine. For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears; And they shall turn away their ears from the truth, and shall be turned unto fables. But watch thou in all things, endure afflictions, do the work of an evangelist, make full proof of thy ministry.

It is the pastor's job to build the church. I have been listening to Pastor Steven Anderson's Wednesday evening Bible study series on the Old Testament book of Zechariah. Today I listened to Zechariah 6 and gleaned this excerpt using audacity (a freeware program). Brother Anderson is exactly right in this matter. Please listen to the brief sermon clip.

When I attended the Lighthouse Baptist Church on Guam in 2018, I was excited whenever I had the opportunity to share the truth with other believers. Jesus said in Matthew 12:34b, “for out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaketh. I love the inspired Holy Bible. I am far from perfect, but I love God's Word. Psalms 119:139-140, “My zeal hath consumed me, because mine enemies have forgotten thy words. Thy word is very pure: therefore thy servant loveth it.” David said he loved God's Word because it is very pure.” That is why I know that all of the Devil's hundreds of English modern Bible revisions are all corrupt, because they are NOT very pure. See for yourself how corrupt the modern PERversions are...

The Holy Bible Corrupted To Obtain A Legal Copyright

When I attended the Lighthouse Baptist Church on Guam in 2018, their pastor was an intern pastor from Pensacola Christian College. His name is Sean Quinlan. I attended the church for several months. After church I would often fellowship with other Christian brethren. They would share things they had learned from the Bible with me, and I would share truths I had learn with them. Little did I know that Pastor Quinlan was eavesdropping on my private conversations. I humbly think he was jealous of me, that I could teach the Word of God with authority, but he couldn't because he doesn't study. When I asked him about Jesus' blood, he didn't even know if Jesus' blood was sprinkled on the heavenly Mercy Seat. That is a bad pastor!

A Shameful Pastor Doesn't Contend For The Faith

One Wednesday night after church I was in front of the church talking with a man named Bill. I warned him about the corrupt Bibles being used, sold and promoted by Bob Jones University (BJU). When Pastor Quinlan heard me mention BJU, he became angry. He butted into my conversation with Bill and accused me of trying to usurp authority over his church members. I apologized for offending him, explaining that I was just talking with a friend.

Pastor Quinlan said that he'd been eavesdropping on my conversations for several months, and then he horribly accused me of being “obsessed over the Bible issue.” I was disgusted by what he was saying, since he had admitted to me weeks earlier in a private conversation that he couldn't even show me one thing wrong with the new Bible versions. What an incompetent pastor! Since he rebuked me in front of his church members, I rebuked him back with the truth.

I truthfully told him in front of everyone that Harvest Baptist Church on Guam (a cesspool of BJU graduates) are preaching the Devil's lies of Calvinism (aka, Lordship Salvation) and promoting the Devil's Bible versions. He snapped back and defended Harvest and BJU, saying that it is none of our business what they do at those places. This disgusted me utterly. I firmly told him that he ought not be bidding Godspeed to a cult of Calvinists and Bible corrupters! Ladies and gentlemen, it is our business as saints what local churches and the Bible colleges that train their pastors are preaching and teaching.

The Pastor's Job Is To Preach The Truth, Not Build A Church

Pastor Quinlan then said that he was trying to “build a church” and wrongly accused me of bringing controversies into his church (by me warning people about the Devil's corrupt Bible revisions). I then realized that I was speaking with a FOOL and I obeyed the Scripture in Proverbs 14:7, Go from the presence of a foolish man, when thou perceivest not in him the lips of knowledge.” I shouted SHAME ON YOU! as I walked to my car and peacefully drove away for the last time. I never attended that shameful church with a carnally-minded shameful pastor again, but I will continue to warn people about Sean Quinlan.

Pastor Quinlan is in trouble with the Lord for wickedly bidding Godspeed to false prophets. 2nd John 1:11, “For he that biddeth him God speed is partaker of his evil deeds.” Like the dangerous cult at PCC who preach another gospel, Pastor Quinlan is indifferent toward doctrinal error and couldn't care less about exposing false prophets. One good thing is that Quinlan resigned as intern pastor of Lighthouse Baptist Church on Guam in 2018, and he skedaddled back to work at Pensacola Christian College (PCC), which is false prophet headquarters. I now live in the city of Pensacola (since 2021) and can smell the stench of their corrupt college all over the city! PCC is a religious cult who preach a counterfeit gospel.

Kindly said, Pastor Quinlan's horrible error is that he has the wrong attitude he's trying to “build a church, when he should have been preaching THE TRUTH (as I have been faithfully doing since 2002 when I began my website ministry). I have never tried to build a ministry,” I have always preached THE TRUTH, come what may. I have never tried to keep web visitors or tickle anyone's ears to get them to stay. I have never asked for or accepted a single penny of money for my labors for Christ, nor will I ever. My work is a labor of love for God, people and truth.

Persecuted For Preaching The Truth

When I labored voluntarily in Chicago from 1993 to 2001 as the assistant pastor of Grace Mission Church (helping my father), I wasn't trying to help “build the mission” (which was legally a church). I preached THE TRUTH, which eventually got me kicked off the mission board and I lost my ministry in 2001. My neo-evangelical father (a Moody Bible Institute graduate) called the shots, since he was the rescue mission director. I loved my father and just wanted to help him anyway that I could.

I always respected my Dad and never tried to go against his ministry decisions. It was essentially his ministry that he started, I voluntarily serving the Lord by helping my Dad for 8 years. He had a Lutheran pastor and a Freemason on his board of directors. I was invited to join the Freemasons along with my father. I declined the invite, knowing that Freemasonry is a Satanic cult, but sadly my father accepted the invitation. Freemasons are like cockroaches, infesting men with their Luciferian organization everywhere they go. Lucifer (Satan) is the god of Freemasonry. I hate the Masonic demon cult!!!

Ignorant people think Freemasonry is just a mere good old boys club, but that is a lie of the Devil. You cannot be a member of Freemasonry and be right with God. I love my father, but we parted ways in 2001 (which was his decision alone). I received a horrible letter in the mail signed by my father, the Freemason and Lutheran pastor, kicking me off the mission board. The last thing that the Lutheran minister ever said to me was: “You and that King James Bible heresy!” It was a badge of honor being rejected by a bunch of wicked religious men because I am King James Bible only. I never looked back! In 2002 I began my website ministry and have put my hand to the plow ever since, moving forward laboring night and day for the Lord Jesus Christ. Luke 9:62, “And Jesus said unto him, No man, having put his hand to the plough, and looking back, is fit for the kingdom of God.” To God be the glory.

My heart's desire since the day I gave my life to serve God in church at age 15, has been to PREACH THE WORD. 2nd Timothy 4:2, “Preach the word; be instant in season, out of season; reprove, rebuke, exhort with all longsuffering and doctrine.” I don't preach my opinion, I preach God's Word. My preaching is none of my business! My heart's desire has always been to PREACH THE TRUTH, not build anything. Jesus Christ builds the ministry. Psalms 127:1, “Except the LORD build the house, they labour in vain that build it: except the LORD keep the city, the watchman waketh but in vain.”

My Duty As A Minister Is To Preach The Truth, Not Build A Ministry

My job as a preacher is to PREACH THE WORD, the Lord builds my ministry. I couldn't care less about my websites, I care about preaching THE TRUTH, come what may. I work as hard as I can to maintain my ministry websites, but they mean nothing without the truth that helps people. My websites are merely tools, a means to an end of helping people for Christ. I don't pray for my websites, I pray for my web visitors! When I drop dead someday (in God's time), my ministry websites will all expire within one year, when the hosting plan expires. I can renew my domain names for up to 10 years in the future, but I cannot renew my hosting plan for more than one year at a time. That is why I started my blogs in 2020, so that my writings will still perpetuate online after I have graduated to Heaven. It could be today, we never know. Retired football player Brad Henke suddenly died in his sleep in 2022 at age 56, my age.

The dear people whom God has led to Christ through my ministry blogs and websites will be blessed forever! The hundreds (perhaps even thousands) of people who've come to know Jesus Christ as their personal Savior (through my humble ministry labors), will be there to greet me in Heaven, when we all get there (Daniel 12:3). That will be my greatest reward in Heaven. My websites and blogs are not my ministry, YOU are dear friend. 2nd Corinthians 3:2-3, “Ye are our epistle written in our hearts, known and read of all men: Forasmuch as ye are manifestly declared to be the epistle of Christ ministered by us, written not with ink, but with the Spirit of the living God; not in tables of stone, but in fleshy tables of the heart.”

The pastor's job is to preach the truth of God's Word, not build a church. Christ will build the church if the pastor is faithfully preaching the truth as he ought. God knows that I do not hate Pastor Sean Quinlan and the PCC family, but they have the unbiblical attitude that their graduates are supposed to build ministries and churches. That is WRONG! The preacher's job is to preach the Holy Bible, proclaiming the truth regardless of the results. Christ alone builds the church, not the congregation or pastor.

Pastor Sean Quinlan's Utter Shame

Pastor Quinlan was greatly offended that I was showing people what is wrong with the Devil's Bible versions, and that I was warning others about corrupt institutions like Bob Jones University who sell them. Quinlan wrongly rebuked me, accusing me of tossing a monkey-wrench into his efforts to “build a ministry.” When a pastor, church congregation, missionary or Bible college prioritizes building their ministry over preaching THE TRUTH, then money almost always becomes an issue and they sinfully compromise. Tragically, Sean Quinlan hurt the people at the Lighthouse Baptist Church on Guam, by elevating himself as a “builder of a ministry” rather than a preacher of the truth.

Jesus preached the truth and people turned away and left Him. Jesus didn't care about offending people by telling them the truth. The Bible says many of Jesus' followers went back and abandoned Him. Then Jesus looked at His twelve disciples and also asked them if they were going to leave too. John 6:66-67, “From that time many of his disciples went back, and walked no more with him. Then said Jesus unto the twelve, Will ye also go away?” Our dear Savior wasn't interested in building an organization, building a club, building his reputation or building a church at the expense of THE TRUTH. Jesus told the Samaritan woman at Jacob's Well that God cannot be worshipped in error, heresy and falsehoods; but only “in spirit and in truth” (John 4:24b).

It is tragic that PCC is foolishly training their students that building a ministry is more important than preaching the truth. If Sean Quinlan had been right with God, he would have thanked and commended me for contending for the Christian faith. Instead Pastor Quinlan counted me as his enemy and saw my truth-telling as a threat to the ministry that he was trying to build. His exact words to me were, “I'm trying to build something here, so I don't want any controversies in my church.” I told him that I thought he meant stuff like the 9/11 World Trade Center attacks. He replied, “That's a conspiracy, not a controversy.” Oh boy, you've got to be kidding!

I learned the hard way that Pastor Quinlan considers warning fellow church members about the Devil's Bible versions as a risky “controversy” that could split the church. He even told me that he was worried about me causing a church split. Isn't that shameful? I was dumbfounded and still am 5 years later. I mean, if there is one place in the world where you should be able to safely TELL THE TRUTH, you'd think it would be in an independent Baptist church. Sadly, it is not so today; most pastors will show you the door if you TELL THE TRUTH (Galatians 4:16).

I have since moved from Guam to Pensacola, and attended Campus Church at PCC for a few months in 2021, and have sadly learned that PCC doesn't even have repentance or the Gospel correct. I never thought when I moved to Pensacola in 2021, that I would need to add PCC and their Campus Church to my list of apostate institutions that I must preach against and expose for corrupting the Gospel (Titus 1:13-14). RIGHT DOCTRINE MATTERS!!!

Kindly said, PCC and Sean Quinlan are serving their belly, not the Lord Jesus Christ. Romans 16:17-18, “Now I beseech you, brethren, mark them which cause divisions and offences contrary to the doctrine which ye have learned; and avoid them. For they that are such serve not our Lord Jesus Christ, but their own belly; and by good words and fair speeches deceive the hearts of the simple.” PCC and their alumni are false teachers who use their good words (being friendly and nice) and fair speeches (cunning and carefully scripted words) to deceive the hearts of the simple (everyday common people who are unlearned in the Scriptures). The Bible says they serve their own belly, imitators who masquerade as serving Jesus Christ.

It is tragic that over 95% of pastors today are merely attempting to build a church ministry, when they should be focused upon preaching THE TRUTH. Jesus Christ alone builds the church! No preacher will ever be worth a dime until he is willing to preach the truth regardless of the consequences. That is what is wrong with Christianity today—we've got a bunch of incompetent clergy who are only concerned about making more money, growing a ministry and impressing cult headquarters at some accursed Bible college—but they don't prioritize preaching the truth that may offend people, decrease their popularity and shrink the size of their ministry and income. May God give us such faithful men of God again!!!

God knows that I love Pastor Quinlan and his family and don't hate a living soul. I didn't publish this blog to attack anyone; but rather, to emphasize the truth that we need Bible preachers today who will PREACH THE WORD (i.e., THE TRUTH - John 17:17), rather than merely focus on building a church at the expense of the truth. If telling THE TRUTH that Bob Jones University is selling corruptible seed (the Devil's Bible PERversions) and that is a “controversy” that might cause a church split, then so be it!!! Christian fundamentalism was doing a whole lot better back in the old days when we regularly had church splits!

God pity the gutless shameful pastor who is more concerned about having a church split, than he is about warning people about the Devil's corrupt Bible versions and the wicked Bible colleges that promote them.
