God's Grace Will Pardon The Worst Sinner

Isaiah 1:18, “Come now, and let us reason together, saith the LORD: though your sins be as scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they be red like crimson, they shall be as wool.”

I love the inspired King James Bible. It is God's Word, every word! I thank God that He gave us an instruction Book. Someone has said that “B.I.B.L.E.” is an acronym for “Basic Instructions Before Leaving Earth.” I like that. So many Christian believers get worked up and hot under the collar over minor issues; such as, the age of the earth, the timing of the Rapture, Zionism, Paradise, Storehouse Tithing, Dispensationalism, et cetera. Although I take strong positions in each of these matters, I refuse to get into heated debates and make disparaging comments toward those who disagree with me.

One of the most basic of Bible truths is that even the vilest sinner can be forgiven through faith in Jesus Christ. Acts 10:43, “To him give all the prophets witness, that through his name whosoever believeth in him shall receive remission of sins. Dr. Peter S. Ruckman (1921-2012) and his twisted followers, hold to the unbiblical belief that people in the Old Testament didn't get saved like we do today; but rather, they had to keep the Law of Moses (works) from day to day, and if they didn't then they went to Hell. We know that this is a false teaching, because Acts 10:43 says “all” the prophets preached forgiveness of sins through faith in Christ.

Some people would sacrifice their life for a righteous man. Perhaps even some people might even sacrifice their life for a good man. But who would sacrifice their life for a convicted criminal? No one! Ah, but Jesus DID sacrifice His life on Calvary's cross to pay everyone's debt of sin. ...
Romans 5:6-9, “For when we were yet without strength, in due time Christ died for the ungodly. For scarcely for a righteous man will one die: yet peradventure for a good man some would even dare to die. But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us. Much more then, being now justified by his blood, we shall be saved from wrath through him.”
Jesus died for the worst scoundrel, the vilest sinner and most dangerous murderer. God offers salvation freely to whosoever wants it.

And to clarify, your behavior, sins and feelings have nothing to do with being saved. You are either solely trusting what Christ did to pay your debt of sin through Calvary's cross, or you're not. Salvation is not doing your best, it is having Christ's best put to your account through receiving Him by faith. Eternal life is the gift of God, if you want it. Just take it by faith in His only begotten Son, Jesus, the Christ (John 20:31). Turning away from sinful ways would be a work. Faith puts all of the merit where it belongs, on the object of our faith, Jesus and His work alone. The true Gospel always points you to CHRIST; a false gospel always points to YOU.
“Sound doctrine is like a sound ship. There are no holes in it.” —Pastor David Baker
In 1994 Church of Christ pastor, Curt Booth, shared his religious faith with Jeffrey Dahmer and allegedly Dahmer agreed and got saved. I totally disagree. I don't doubt Dahmer's salvation because of the wicked things that he did before getting caught; but rather, because the Church of Christ is a works-based-salvation cult. Pastor Booth water baptized Dahmer, and then told him that he was a Christian. Sadly, this is NOT the Gospel of free grace. Partial faith in Christ PLUS something else (baptism, turning from sins, sacraments, serving God, making Jesus your Lord) cannot produce the new birth. Remember, the accursed false prophets in Matthew 7:22-23 called Jesus “Lord, Lord,” but Christ denied knowing them as His sheep. The Devil's counterfeit gospel of Lordship Salvation is a sure highway to Hell.

I love our text verse from Isaiah 1:18, “Come now, and let us reason together, saith the LORD: though your sins be as scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they be red like crimson, they shall be as wool.” There is no stain upon anyone's life, which has been so darkened by sin, but that Jesus' precious blood cannot cleanse our sins away, making us white as snow in God's sight. This is the great imputed righteousness of God!
