Love Covereth All Sins

Proverbs 10:12, “Hatred stirreth up strifes: but love covereth all sins.”

This is perhaps one of the most ignored passages of Scripture in the inspired Holy Bible. If you are familiar at all with the mainstream news media and social media, unless you've lived in a cave somewhere, then you have heard all types of slander, accusations and hateful speeches against people. The Bible tells us that the Devil is “THE ACCUSER OF THE BRETHREN.”
Revelation 12:10, And I heard a loud voice saying in heaven, Now is come salvation, and strength, and the kingdom of our God, and the power of his Christ: for the accuser of our brethren is cast down, which accused them before our God day and night.”
We are never more like Satan than when we speak evil of others, bringing up their past failures and sins to shame, embarrass, hurt or discredit them. No saint of God ought ever do such a shameful thing! If you are familiar with my websites and blogs, then you know that I don't mention people's personal sins. I could mention some famous names and tell you about sins that I am aware of, but the Word of God says in our text Scripture that hatred stirs up strifes.

Having said that, I DO expose bad pastors and religious leaders who mistreat people, refuse to allow me to attend their church, or they are guilty of preaching heresy. Pensacola Christian College has banned me from attending their Campus Church, so this is an ongoing situation. I am still willing to reconcile and make peace with them, and to start removing my criticisms against them from social media, but only when I am welcome to come back to Campus Church. Why should I stop criticizing them, when they are proving by their shameful behavior everything that I have said in my Bible preaching against them?

Sadly, PCC doesn't give a damn! I don't expect to ever hear from them. I mailed three letters, two to Campus Church and a courtesy copy to Pensacola Christian College. They all totally ignored me. So after six weeks I got upset and criticized them on social media. Only then did Pastor Jeff Redlin cruelly email me to tell me that I am banned from attending Campus Church. Fine, then I will continue to preach against their CULT! Only shady religious cults ban people from attending church. I am not the only victim at PCC, read for yourself some of the negative comments by their own alumni...
“Don't go here if you're a Christian; they don't actually follow the Bible. They just use it as an excuse to treat people like trash.” —Danielle Tate (2016)

“This institution did more to harm my personal development than any other. As a 38 year old professional, I still bear the scars of how I was treated by this harsh, unloving, uncaring college.” —Greg S (2015), a former abused PCC student

“17 years later and I'm still shaking off the trauma. So many extra-biblical rules it'll make your head spin. Great place for Pharisaical training if your into that. The rule book has more rules than the Bible.” —Jorn Anderson (September 2022), former mistreated PCC student

“Pcc is the worst school ever. It was a complete waste of my time and money. They kicked me out for going to the wrong Sunday school class. And that was a year ago. They still will not release my transcripts which has put me behind in my college career. They schools not be called a Christian college if they cannot even live by what the Bible has to say. If I was able to take it all back and not go there I would in a heartbeat. I am warning you if you are thinking about going DONT DO IT!!!!” —Gavin Bufford (2017), abused former PCC student

“I'm a 2018 graduate of PCC and I went here for all 4 years. It's really sad that this place calls itself Christian, its legalistic places like pcc that give Christians a bad name. They do have a lot of rules regulating most areas of life. I was treated very poorly and rude by several "Christians" on staff and faculty and I saw many of my friends treated the same way. I've personally seen people who were once people I would hang out with, when given positions of leadership become legalistic monsters taking joy in getting as many students in trouble as possible, and this is done in the name of Christ! As a student you are guilty until proven innocent and can be kicked out just because someone accuses you of something.” —Nick Harrison (2019), a mistreated PCC alumni

“It is NOT a friendly environment. All they care about is rules instead of encouraging and building you up in your Christian walk.” —Hannah Elizabeth Kirchhoff (December 2022), mistreated former PCC student

“They call themselves Christians, but Christians are supposed to show compassion and patience.” —Angela (January 2023), mistreated former PCC student

“In retrospect, I thank God for not having the opportunity to attend here (Pensacola Christian College) and myself for not making the decision to enroll.” —Richard Deuto (January 2023)

“Crackpot unaccredited school.” —Meryl Montgomery (November 2022)
I love this truthful quote from Dr. Jack Hyles (1926-2001)...
“I am all for standards, but I am not for standards without love.” —Pastor Jack Hyles
Bingo! That is the missing ingredient at PCC, God's unconditional love and compassion for individual people. Sadly, the cult system always comes first at PCC, and their plethora of rules, but individual people do not matter. I experienced that cold-hearted indifference firsthand from the incompetent hateful pastors of Campus Church, and the indifferent leadership at PCC who didn't even have the decency to respond to my lengthy letter asking for their intervention, just so that I could come back to attend Campus Church. I am not bringing up PCC's past sins, I am asking them to allow me to attend Campus Church, but then won't budge because they are sinfully arrogant and have huge egos at PCC. Their sin is ongoing.

SHAME on Pensacola Christian College! When a pastor disses you and your humble letter pleading to make reconciliation (as they shamefully did to me in the summer of 2022), that pastor's heart is filled with hatred, just as the ungodly mother who aborts her baby hates that child. No mother who has an abortion loves that precious life. Tragically, only SOME LIVES MATTER at Campus Church and PCC. To God, ALL LIVES MATTER, and you're not right with God unless you think ALL LIVES MATTER.

When someone makes things right with us, we ought to forgive them and let the matter die. When a preacher sins and pays the price for his sins, we ought not continue to bring up that preacher's past sins. That is, we shouldn't bring it up days, weeks, months, years or decades later, stirring up hatred and strife. Wicked critics all over social media love to bring up every sin they can find about a preacher to destroy his name, testimony, legacy and ministry, if they can. They are doing the evil will of their evil father, Satan. ...
John 8:44-45, “Ye are of your father the devil, and the lusts of your father ye will do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and abode not in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaketh a lie, he speaketh of his own: for he is a liar, and the father of it. And because I tell you the truth, ye believe me not.”
As God's children we ought to love others as ourselves. Would you want someone to constantly mention your sins and faults? No, you would not. Jesus commands every believer in Matthew 7:12, “Therefore all things whatsoever ye would that men should do to you, do ye even so to them: for this is the law and the prophets.” This is 'THE GOLDEN RULE.'

Of course, this does not mean that pastors shouldn't call out open sin in the church. 1st Timothy 5:20, “Them that sin rebuke before all, that others also may fear.” This verse simply means that a pastor is the shepherd of God's flock, and he has a duty to preach against sin to ensure that the Devil doesn't get his foot into the door of the church. False teachers are always trying to creep into every local New Testament church. They need to be exposed. However, please don't confuse our text verse that love covereth all sins, with contending for the faith (which is our responsibility as Christians). There is a fine line between faith and foolishness.

Ecclesiastes 12:11, “The words of the wise are as goads, and as nails fastened by the masters of assemblies, which are given from one shepherd.” I like to think of a pastor's job as similar to a game of Whack-a-mole! When Modalism (which denyies the doctrine of the Godhead, i.e., Trinity) rears its ugly head, WHACK! When open sin appears in the church, WHACK! It is the pastor's solemn duty to prevent worldliness, apathy, false teachings and wickedness from sneaking into and taking root in a church. 1st Corinthians 5:6, “Your glorying is not good. Know ye not that a little leaven leaveneth the whole lump?”

But most of all, please never forget the Scripture's warning that without love, nothing else matters. ...
1st Corinthians 13:1-3, “Though I speak with the tongues of men and of angels, and have not charity, I am become as sounding brass, or a tinkling cymbal. And though I have the gift of prophecy, and understand all mysteries, and all knowledge; and though I have all faith, so that I could remove mountains, and have not charity, I am nothing. And though I bestow all my goods to feed the poor, and though I give my body to be burned, and have not charity, it profiteth me nothing.”
The word “charity here means love.” Pastor Jack Hyles said it well earlier: “I am all for standards, but I am not for standards without love.” Amen and amen! PCC lacks God's love because their leaders don't genuinely spend time walking with God. They've majored on the letter of the law (rules, rules and more rules) at PCC, but they have horribly minored on the spirit of the law, which is the love of the Holy Spirit. You read the earlier negative comments from former PCC students for yourself, how that PCC is all about rules without any love.

Love is forgiving and giving people a second chance. PCC refuses to even let me come back to their church. That is hatred at PCC! I have love and am willing to make peace with them, but they woefully lack God's love, which is why they are holding a grudge and patronizing me. I will reluctantly continue by God's grace to expose the PCC cult, by their own choosing. I pray and hope that some day PCC's leadership will repent of their heathen attitudes, and do the right thing. God is watching.

Proverbs 10:12, “Hatred stirreth up strifes: but love covereth all sins.” This wonderful inspired Scripture is simply teaching us, that as God's redeemed children we should always seek to err on the side of forgiveness, mercy, gentleness, kindness, understanding and giving people who have sinned a chance to make restitution, reconciliation and restoration. I firmly believe that everybody deserves a second chance in life.

That is what God's simple plan of salvation is all about. No matter what you have done in this life, God is offering you a complete pardon, as if you had never sinned at all. All you need to do is come to God as a guilty sinner, and by faith receive Christ's sacrifice on the cross as payment for your sins, believing that He was buried, but bodily resurrected from the dead three days later. This is 'THE GOSPEL,' by which all who BELIEVE IT are instantly, irrevocably and forever saved (1st Corinthians 15:1-6). Thank you for reading.
