Are There Few That Be Saved?

Luke 13:23-24, “Then said one unto him, Lord, are there few that be saved? And he said unto them, Strive to enter in at the strait gate: for many, I say unto you, will seek to enter in, and shall not be able.”

Jesus warned that during the end times, the world will return to the deplorable conditions before the flood of Noah's time. Matthew 24:37-39 that the world would return as it was during the times of Noah before the flood. But as the days of Noe were, so shall also the coming of the Son of man be. For as in the days that were before the flood they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noe entered into the ark, And knew not until the flood came, and took them all away; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.”

What were those conditions? Genesis 6:5, “And GOD saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth, and that every imagination of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually.” Everywhere we turn today we are seeing a breakdown in family values, apostate churches, false doctrine, perverted morals, bad ethics and lack of personal moral integrity, from individual Americans all the way up to the highest levels of our government.

I was rejoicing today that my name is written in Heaven (Luke 10:20). I was meditating upon the dear Savior's words in Luke 13:23-24, “And he went through the cities and villages, teaching, and journeying toward Jerusalem. Then said one unto him, Lord, are there few that be saved? And he said unto them, Strive to enter in at the strait gate: for many, I say unto you, will seek to enter in, and shall not be able.”

I was talking with a professed Christian woman recently. She has a sister-in-law married to her older brother, who is a member of the Church of Christ cult. This woman thinks her sister-in-law is saved, even though she believes you must be water baptized to get to Heaven. She thinks that God sees a person's sincerity, and that the Lord judges a person based upon their sincerity. Unfortunately, she is flawed in her thinking. What saith the Scripture? Proverbs 14:12, “There is a way which seemeth right unto a man, but the end thereof are the ways of death.” The road to Hell is paved with sincerity. Some of the worst ideas in human history have been done with the best of intentions. Jesus warned in John 3:3b, “Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.” God said what He meant, and He meant what He said. If Jesus said that you must be born again, He wasn't kidding.

The bottom line then is this—have you been born anew from above by the Holy Spirit of God? Can a person believe the Gospel, plus add water baptism or some other so-called “sacraments” and still be born again? The resounding Biblical answer is no! If you disagree, then please show me from the Bible where I am wrong.

I kindly explained to the lady I was talking with, about her Church of Christ relative, that I totally disagree that she is saved by confused. If someone believes the Gospel, but also trusts in water baptism to be saved, that is NOT God's simple plan of salvation. It is religion. No one has ever been saved by partial faith in Christ plus something else. You cannot be born again by partial faith in Christ plus turning away from your sinful ways.

Nowhere does the Holy Bible teach that a lost sinner must forsake sinful bad habits, or be willing to turn away from sinful ways, to get to Heaven. The big problem is that many preachers are unlearned in the Scripture, not dividing the Word of God alright. So instead they corrupt the inspired Word of God, and cast stumbling blocks before the people, confusing them with a false plan of salvation.

Pilgrim's Progress author, John Bunyan, I think said it best:

“If you do not put a difference between justification wrought by the man Christ without and sanctification wrought by the Spirit of Christ within, you are not able to divide the Word aright; but contrariwise, you corrupt the Word of God, and cast stumbling blocks before the people.” —John Bunyan (1628-1688)

What an awesome statement! From this helpful quote from John Bunyan, I can tell that he had a keen understanding of the free grace Gospel. Unfortunately, most preachers today (including independent fundamental Baptist pastors) don't have a keen understanding of the Gospel. The most dangerous thing you can do dear reader, is to listen to TV, internet and radio preachers, because 95% of them are woefully ignorant of the inspired Scriptures. You'd be shocked if you knew just how woefully unlearned of the Scripture the average pastor is today. We are a nation of Bible ignoramuses!!!

I love what Pastor Curtis Hutson (1934-1995) said: “A good rule to follow when interpreting the Bible is to never use an obscure passage to contradict a clear one.” If you examine what passages of Scripture every proponent of Lordship Salvation cites to prove their false teachings, you'll see that they based their beliefs on single obscure passages of Scripture, while ignoring the complete Gospel of John, and the Epistle of Galatians.

I reasoned with my female friend that if her Church of Christ sister-in-law is saved, then why not Roman Catholics too? How about Seventh-Day Adventists? Jesus said in Luke 13:23-24 that "few" people shall be able to enter into Heaven. If partial faith in Christ plus something else brings salvation, then most people would be going to Heaven. But Jesus said that only a few people shall enter into Heaven, but many shall seek to enter.

Jesus tells us why few people are saved in Matthew 7:15, because of false prophets, ravening wolves, who come to us disguised in sheep's clothing. Catholics all believe the Gospel. They believe they are saved by Jesus' shed blood. They believe Christ died on a cross for their sins, was buried and resurrected after three days. Catholics will say that they agree with all the facts of the Gospel, admitting that they are sinners worthy of eternal damnation in Hell fire. BUT, Catholics add their damnable Seven Sacraments, the first of which is water baptism. Are they saved too? The clear resounding answer from the Holy Bible is absolutely NOT!

I agree with what Pastor Dennis Rokser (pronounced "rock, Sir"), that even if you have to trim your toenails once every million years in addition to your faith, you are not going to Heaven. Here is the sermon where I got the quote, titled: "Getting The Gospel Right And Wrong."

Evangelist Lester Roloff (1914-1982) is correct that the great need of the hour is preaching preachers! Sin thrills and then it kills! Sin fascinates and then it assassinates! Hardly any pastors today are preachers anymore. Hardly any pastors preach against sin anymore. There is no preaching from the weak pulpit of Campus Church at Pensacola Christian College. There is no preaching at Harvest Baptist Church on Guam.

Over 95% of Baptist churches today are lifeless, lukewarm and dead spiritually. Instead of preaching the Gospel of free grace, they foolishly preach the Devil's Calvinist lie of Lordship Salvation. Instead of teaching the true Bible meaning of repentance, which is “a simple change of mind” toward God (Acts 20:21), they corrupt repentance to mean “giving up your former lifestyle of sin” (which is 100% WORKS). Faith plus works equals false religion!

The Bible says in 2nd Timothy 3:7 that men will be, “Ever learning, and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth.” People will seek remedies, answers and solutions from anyone, anything and everywhere, EXCEPT the inspired Word of God.

When someone asked Jesus if there are FEW that be saved, the dear Savior's frightening answer is that MANY people shall seek to enter into Heaven in eternity, but SHALL NOT BE ABLE. That confirms the rhetorical question that only very few people will ever enter into God's Kingdom, which is through faith alone in Christ alone by God's grace. Luke 13:23-24, “Then said one unto him, Lord, are there few that be saved? And he said unto them, Strive to enter in at the strait gate: for many, I say unto you, will seek to enter in, and shall not be able.” It is so obvious to me why MANY people falsely think they are saved, but only a FEW are. It is obvious to me because of all the counterfeit plans of salvation being preached in churches today by corrupt preachers. The bottom line is that Lordship Salvation is another gospel accursed by God. The bottom line is that turning away from your sinful ways to be saved is another gospel.

It sickens me, the damnable heresy, that I hear being preached from church pulpits, religious college pulpits, TV, radio, YouTube video, books and internet today. For example: Pacific Garden Mission's famous 'UNSHACKLED' radio program series since the 1950's has deteriorated over the past few decades to become a cesspool of Calvinism and damnable false doctrine.

Case in point is the story of Keith Becker, program #3756 aired in 2022, which you can listen to here. At 18:55 in the audio presentation, Keith says these blasphemous words:

Dear reader, that is not how to get to Heaven. Judas was one of Jesus' very apostles. Judas had a relationship with Jesus. Matthew 27:3b says Judas even “repented himself” (which Greek word here means sorrow for sin, not the usual word used for “repent” in the Bible which means, a change of mind). Judas experience penitence. Judas also returned the 30 pieces of silver, trying to make amends (which is penance). But neither penitence, penance or reformation is Bible repentance toward God. Judas never repented of his unbelief. Judas didn't believe that Jesus is the only begotten Son of God, the Christ (John 20:31).

In their corrupt show, Dick Lane Classic, Program #3750 - aired in 2022, UNSHACKLED falsely preaches that to be saved you must “repent of your sins.” You cannot show me anywhere in the inspired King James Bible where it says to “repent of your sins” to be saved. PGM are wicked for preaching damnable heresy!!! In the shameful audio presentation, Dick Lane boasts that he “gave his life to Him [Jesus]” to get saved. That is a counterfeit gospel (Galatians 1:6-9).

Sadly, Pacific Garden Mission has been hijacked by a bunch of yuppie type neo-evangelicals. The mission was very different under the 46 years of supervision by former mission director, Harry Saulnier (1902-1990), decades ago, when my father preached at PGM weekly in the 1970's and I tagged along to quote Scripture verses to the Skid Row men and some women. It is tragic and sad what has happened to PGM, and how UNSHACKLED has gone to the dogs doctrinally. I cringe nowadays as I listen to the counterfeit gospel being propagated by PGM's UNSHACKLED radio program. Remember, Satan is a beautiful liar!!!

No wonder Jesus confirmed that there are only “few” that be saved in Luke 13:23-24, because of all the false prophets which abound, then and now. Matthew 24:11, “And many false prophets shall rise, and shall deceive many.” It is obvious to me that Pacific garden Mission is trying to appease all sides of the salvation spectrum. One moment they are teaching a free grace Gospel, but the next moment they are teaching lies, saying that you must live a live of submission to prove that you are really saved (which is what all the pseudo-Christian cults teach). Only the Bible teaches salvation WITHOUT WORKS (Romans 4:4-7).

In UNSHACKLED's damnable, at 27:30 time in program #3751, aired in 2022, titled: Brady Evan's Classic, the narrator falsely preaches that getting saved requires beginning: “a lifetime of submissions to the Lord,” which is a counterfeit gospel of Lordship Salvation. As I quote to you earlier by John Bunyan, anyone who fails to put a difference between justification and sanctification is corrupting the Word of God, and woefully casting stumblingblocks before the people, which is what PGM and UNSHACKLKED are wickedly doing...

You cannot show me anywhere (I haven't found it yet), where PGM's UNSHACKLED puts a difference between justification wrought by the man Christ without, versus sanctification wrought by the Spirit of Christ within. Ladies and gentlemen, RIGHT DOCTRINE MATTERS!!! It is not okay or acceptable  for everyone to merely do their own thing, some preaching one thing and other preaching another thing. As Pastor Curtis Hutson rightly preached, 'Things That Are Different Are Not The Same!' Lordship Salvation is VERY DIFFERENT than the simple free grace Gospel taught by the Apostle Paul in 1st Corinthians 15:1-5. What exactly is 'Lordship Salvation?'

With all the theological garbage being taught at Pensacola Christian College, Bob Jones University, Crown College, Faith Baptist Bible College And Theological Seminary, Maranatha Bible College, Liberty University, East Texas Baptist Bible College, West Coast Baptist College, et cetera— it doesn't surprise me one bit that only a FEW people are saved. The damnable heresies of Lordship Salvation, and misunderstood repentance, has crept into 95% of Baptist churches today! The Devil's corrupt Bible revisions have crept into nearly all churches today, including independent Baptists. It is tragic and shameful Doesn't anybody contend for the Christian faith anymore?

To their utter shame, I was kicked out and banned from returning to the Harvest Baptist Church on Guam by their demonic pastors, because I befriended them with THE TRUTH. I loved them enough and had the courage to warn them about the Devil's bibles they are using, and the Devil's hoax of Lordship Salvation which they are preaching, and the Devil's poisonous plan of salvation of misunderstood repentance which they are preaching. Not one of their ungodly pastors would take heed to my Biblical warning. They were stiff-necked and full of arrogance and hubris, thinking that they are God's gift to the churches.

I on the other hand am a nobody, a broken sinner with a humble website, which is why God uses me as He does to preach THE TRUTH to their stony hearts, making their hearts fat with callousness. Isaiah 6:10, “Make the heart of this people fat, and make their ears heavy, and shut their eyes; lest they see with their eyes, and hear with their ears, and understand with their heart, and convert, and be healed.” In other words, the same sun that melts the wax, hardens the clay. Those wicked pastors have hearts of clay, rebellious  against THE TRUTH, which just makes their hearts more hard and calloused toward my preaching of THE TRUTH. Their day of reckoning is soon coming, mark God's Word in Romans 3:4, “God forbid: yea, let God be true, but every man a liar; as it is written, That thou mightest be justified in thy sayings, and mightest overcome when thou art judged.”

Pastor Marty Herron has the blood of tens of thousands of victims upon his hands in Micronesia, for preaching a counterfeit gospel to them of the Devil's Lordship Salvation for nearly 20 years (1999 to 2018) as the senior pastor of Harvest Baptist Church on Guam. And now Pastor Gary Walton has much blood on his hands, who has also banned me from returning to Harvest Baptist Church cult on Guam, and continues to preach the Devil's lie of Lordship Salvation (wickedly bidding Godspeed to cult headquarters at Bob Jones University). Bob Jones University (BJU) is the headquarters of the Alexandrian cult!

On my ministry Facebook page, less than 1% of my so-called “Friends” ever agree with me when I expose these corrupt institutions at PCC, BJU, Harvest Baptist Church on Guam, Pacific Garden Mission and other hellholes of apostasy today. I am so close to getting rid of my Facebook page, because all I am doing is catering to religious people on Facebook, not reaching lost sinners with the Gospel. I dread religious people because they are the ones who do the least for God, refuse to contend for the faith and complain (nitpick) about everything.

Why is it that less than 1% of all church members as a whole, do 99% of all the work for God? That goes for Christians as well! Sadly, I dare say that only 3% of all churchgoers as a whole are genuinely born-again believers. I challenge you to kindly start asking individual people in your church if they are 100% certain that they'd go to Heaven if they die today. You will be shocked as I was! Hardly anyone knows if they are even saved, let alone having the full assurance of being saved. That is their pastor's fault for not teaching their people.

When I attended the rotten Harvest Baptist Church on Guam, one of their deacons approached me after church one Sunday evening. His wife was standing quietly in the background, waiting for her husband. He desired to speak with me about the assurance of his salvation. I opened my heart to share the Scriptures with him, expounding Him in some of the helpful truths I had learned over the years from my own struggles with assurance of salvation. He was amazed at the truths that I shared with him, not that I am anything special (because I am not), but because THE TRUTH is amazing and special! I'll never forget what he asked me: “Why don't they teach these things from the pulpit?” I kindly told him it is simply because they don't know the pain of not knowing that one is saved.

I was being gentle as to not overly criticize the church's multiple pastors. What I really wanted to say is: “It is because this church needs much better pastors!” Since he was a deacon and on staff as a teacher, I didn't want to make an enemy. But I did tell him the truth that the church pastors don't know the pain of uncertainty that you are saved or not. Harvest's pastors on Guam are incompetent, plain and simple. I befriended them with THE TRUTH, placing numerous books directly into their hands to teach them which they all rejected as rubbish. What books did I give them? Here they are:

1. I Never Knew You (by Michael P. Bowen)
2. Martin Luther: Master Of Deceit (by Pastor Max D. Younce)
3. NIV: The Antichrist's Bible (by Pastor Al Lacy)
4. Somebody Has Got To Milk The Cows (by Pastor Jack Hyles)

It was for sharing those truthful books, and some sermons by Dr. Jack Hyles which preach that the modern Bible revisions are of the Devil, for which they forced me out of Harvest Baptist Church on Guam, and wickedly banned me from returning permanently for years to come. My blood and all the years I had nowhere to attend a local church is on Marty Herron's ungodly hands, and that of his accomplices on Guam. SHAME on all of them!!! I told THE TRUTH. God sees my broken soul, loss of a wife and inexplicable pain which those ungodly sinister ministers have caused in my life, in their neo-evangelical cult. RIGHT DOCTRINE MATTERS!!!

Having said all that, should it be surprising that only a “few” people are going to Heaven, when even professed Christians have been deceived by the Devil? A perfect example of what I am talking about is Evangelist Ken Ham's false gospel. Yet, nearly every Bible college today wickedly promotes, supports and bids Godspeed to this infidel...

The FALSE GOSPEL of ANSWERS IN GENESIS and KEN HAM

It is not okay with God to bid Godspeed to a damnable false prophet. Religious colleges promote Ken Ham because he agrees with the fallacy of a Young Earth Creation (which is totally unscriptural; the Bible teaches an old earth). Psalms 102:25, “Of old hast thou laid the foundation of the earth: and the heavens are the work of thy hands.” It is shameful that Pastor Clarence Sexton and Crown College promote Ken Ham, honoring him in their church services, when he is of the Devil.

Dear reader, there are not two Gospels. There is only one way to Heaven, which is through FAITH ALONE in the Good News of Jesus Christ crucified, buried and bodily risen the third day (1st Corinthians 15:1-4). Jesus said in John 3:3b, 'YE MUST BE BORN AGAIN.' Turning away from your past sinful ways is NOT a part of God's simple plan of salvation. In fact, read what the Bible says in Jonah 3:10, “And God saw their works, that they turned from their evil way; and God repented of the evil, that he had said that he would do unto them; and he did it not.” Did you see that? God saw their WORKS, that they turned from their evil way!!! Romans 4:4-7, Ephesians 2:8-9 and Titus 3:5 plainly teach that we are not saved BY WORKS, but by FAITH WITHOUT WORKS.

Have you been deceived? Beware of preachers! The best thing you can do to prevent being deceived is to SEARCH THE SCRIPTURES for yourself. That is what Jesus told us to do in John 5:39, “Search the scriptures; for in them ye think ye have eternal life: and they are they which testify of me.” Thank you for reading.
