But Wasn't King James A Freemason?

2nd Peter 1:21, “For the prophecy came not in old time by the will of man: but holy men of God spake as they were moved by the Holy Ghost.

Someone recently said that they were leery about the King James Bible because they heard that King James was a Freemason.

Remember, one third of the Holy Bible was written by murderers. God only has sinful men to do His work. If King James Stuart who commissioned 54 men to translate the King James Bible hadn't been guilty of one sin, he was certainly guilty of many other sins, as are ALL men. We should judge the Bible based upon its content and not the faults of the sinful men who prepared it. King James didn't translate the Bible. People across the country are still trying to discredit and destroy the legacy of Pastor Jack Hyles, because God forbid he might have actually been guilty of sinning during his lifetime. 1st Timothy 5:24, "Some men's sins are open beforehand, going before to judgment; and some men they follow after."
