The Horrors Of Spending Forever Burning In Hell

Matthew 18:8, “Wherefore if thy hand or thy foot offend thee, cut them off, and cast them from thee: it is better for thee to enter into life halt or maimed, rather than having two hands or two feet to be cast into everlasting fire.”

Matthew 25:41, “Then shall he say also unto them on the left hand, Depart from me, ye cursed, into everlasting fire, prepared for the devil and his angels:”

Revelation 20:11-15, “And I saw a great white throne, and him that sat on it, from whose face the earth and the heaven fled away; and there was found no place for them. And I saw the dead, small and great, stand before God; and the books were opened: and another book was opened, which is the book of life: and the dead were judged out of those things which were written in the books, according to their works. And the sea gave up the dead which were in it; and death and hell delivered up the dead which were in them: and they were judged every man according to their works. And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death. And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire.”

The Holy Bible has more to say about Hell than Heaven. Sadly, the average Baptist preacher doesn't preach on Hell once a year. You'll have to search diligently across the United States to find a preacher that warns lost sinners of the judgment to come in the Lake of Fire.

Since I moved from the island of Guam to Pensacola, Florida in July of 2021, I have only heard one local pastor preach on the subject of the Lake of Fire. That was a couple weeks ago. I thank God for him. He is a good and godly man, a few years older than me, a soulwinner, and I appreciate his ministry at the small Baptist church I am attending. You can tell when somebody cares and this man cares. Several months ago he saw a young man related to a church member, laying drunk by a local grocery store. Most pastors would have done nothing. But this caring preacher convinced the young man to check into the Better Roads Recovery program in Indiana, and he drove the young man all the way from Florida to Indiana to help him, paying his admission fee. That is love!

It is no coincidence that the aforementioned pastor who cares, warns people in his preaching about the dangers of a real burning Hell. Caring people are soulwinners! There is a direct correlation between being a caring Christian and telling THE TRUTH. My web visitors who have followed my ministry for any length of time, know that I care. I give God ALL the credit and praise. I don't want anybody's money. I just want to be a blessing for Christ to as many lost, needy and hurting people as I can. That is why I am here, to help OTHERS. Philippians 2: 4-5, “Look not every man on his own things, but every man also on the things of others. Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus:” Pastor Jack Hyles (1926-2001) used to say that if he could teach his people just one thing, other than their need to be being born-again to go to Heaven, it would be to: “GET OUT OF THE SELF LIFE!” Amen and amen! Most pastors today are so caught up in themselves that they have lost sight of obeying The Great Commission. Sadly, in most churches it has become The Great Omission!

The opposite of truth is not lies, it is INDIFFERENCE. The opposite of love is not hate, it is INDIFFERENCE. The biggest problem in today's churches, Bible colleges and religious institutions is INDIFFERENCE. Indifference is not caring one way or the other. It is not the same as being apathetic. Apathy is to some extent, a condition; Indifference is to the same extent, a choice. An apathetic person is without feelings, not because they chose to, but because they can't; they are incapable of response. An indifferent person simply doesn't care or isn't concerned, not because they can't, but because they won't. Most pastors are sinfully indifferent toward the Devil's corrupt bibles, falsehoods, heresies and false gospels.

I woke up yesterday and thought about the fact that there won't be any time in Hell. Revelation 10:6, “And sware by him that liveth for ever and ever, who created heaven, and the things that therein are, and the earth, and the things that therein are, and the sea, and the things which are therein, that there should be time no longer:” Dear reader, if you unfortunately die in your sins one day, you will spend eternity suffering in the fires, smoke, restlessness and inexplicable torments of Hell. I didn't say that, the Bible does. Revelation 14:11, “And the smoke of their torment ascendeth up for ever and ever: and they have no rest day nor night, who worship the beast and his image, and whosoever receiveth the mark of his name.”

To me, one of the most horrifying aspects of Hell will be the absence of time. Can you imagine being trapped in such a horrible place, separated from a loving God for all eternity, knowing that you could have freely gone to Heaven simply by accepting Jesus Christ as your personal Savior? I think the thing that will insanely eat away at the minds of those in Hell, will be the realization that they were freely offered God's gift of eternal life, but they refused it because they were thinking stupid. I meet so many people who refuse to accept God's free gift because of some phony preacher they saw on television. Either that or they'll bring up the the thousands of sex abuse scandals in the Roman Catholic cult, Southern Baptist Convention or other mainstream religious denominations. Folks, those are just lame excuses not to get saved! So many people are going to split Hell wide open, because they spent their whole life dissing on sinful religious people, false religion and imperfect preachers. That is not wise!

Hell is a place of darkness. Matthew 8:12, “But the children of the kingdom shall be cast out into outer darkness: there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth.” No doubt people will be weeping in uncontrollable tears from the intense pain from the flames. They will be gnashing their teeth from pain. But the Bible also teaches that there is another reason for which people in Hell will be weeping and wailing and gnashing their teeth. Luke 13:28, “There shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth, when ye shall see Abraham, and Isaac, and Jacob, and all the prophets, in the kingdom of God, and you yourselves thrust out.” People in Hell hate themselves! They hate themselves because they could have been freely enjoying all the joys, splendors and blessings of Heaven, having fun and partying with the angels and other redeemed saints; but instead they will now spend eternity burning in Hell, with no hope or chance of ever being paroled. Please listen to me dear friend, because I love you with God's unconditional love. This matter of going to either Heaven or Hell is a BIG DEAL. Fools like Pastor Marty Herron make light of THE TRUTH. Marty requires that lost sinners forsake a lifestyle of sinning to be saved, but the Bible never says that anywhere!!!

Please remember friend: The true Gospel always points you to CHRIST; a false gospel always points to YOU. “YOU” has no place in getting saved! What saith the Scripture? ...

Hebrews 4:10-11, “For he that is entered into his rest, he also hath ceased from his own works, as God did from his. Let us labour therefore to enter into that rest, lest any man fall after the same example of unbelief.”

IF you are saved (i.e., have entered into God's rest), then you have CEASED from your own works. That means you are NOT trying to clean up your life, faithfully run the race, endure unto the end, live a lifestyle of repentance, turn away from sins, surrender all to Christ as “Lord,” follow Jesus no matter what, invite Christ into your life, give your life to Christ, nor any other foolish tommyrot that has NOTHING to do with the Gospel of free grace taught in the Gospel of John and 1st Corinthians 15:1-4...

1st Corinthians 15:1-4, “Moreover, brethren, I declare unto you the gospel which I preached unto you, which also ye have received, and wherein ye stand; By which also ye are saved, if ye keep in memory what I preached unto you, unless ye have believed in vain. For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures; And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures:”

There it is: “THE GOSPEL”:

1. Christ DIED on the cross for our sins.
2. He was BURIED.
3. Jesus RESURRECTED three days later from the dead.

Anybody who comes to God as a guilty sinner (you've got to know what you're being saved from and why you need a Savior), receiving Christ's sacrifice on the cross as payment for your sins, believing that Christ was buried but is risen bodily from the dead is saved!!! It's that easy, free and simple to go to Heaven dear friend (2nd Corinthians 11:3-4). JUST BELIEVE THE GOOD NEWS!!!!!!!

There is no greater crime in God's sight than to preach a false gospel. As heinous and disgusting as serial killers are to any normal person, those ungodly criminals are not as bad and guilty as those ungodly pastors who preach another gospel which dooms men's souls to Hell for everlasting damnation. What saith the Scripture? Matthew 10:28, “And fear not them which kill the body, but are not able to kill the soul: but rather fear him which is able to destroy both soul and body in hell.” Wicked men may kill your body, ending your earthly life; but God will cast every unbeliever into everlasting hell, fire and damnation.

No matter who you are dear reader, there are only TWO WAYS you can die...

YOU CAN:

1. DIE IN THE LORD (Revelation 14:13, “And I heard a voice from heaven saying unto me, Write, Blessed are the dead which die in the Lord from henceforth: Yea, saith the Spirit, that they may rest from their labours; and their works do follow them.”)
2. DIE IN YOUR SINS (John 8:24, “I said therefore unto you, that ye shall die in your sins: for if ye believe not that I am he, ye shall die in your sins.”)

Isn't that all very simple? Sure it is! We are the SINNERS and Jesus is the blessed SAVIOR. The way you get to Heaven is by simply acknowledging that you are a guilty sinner. What saith the Scripture? Romans 3:19-20, “Now we know that what things soever the law saith, it saith to them who are under the law: that every mouth may be stopped, and all the world may become guilty before God. Therefore by the deeds of the law there shall no flesh be justified in his sight: for by the law is the knowledge of sin.” I love those Bible versus, because they expose the big lie today that to get to Heaven you must turn from your sins. We know this is not true because Christ died for our sins. “CHRIST DIED FOR THE UNGODLY” (Romans 5:6-9).

I absolutely love and appreciate what Pilgrim's Progress author John Bunyan (1628-1688) said, which clarifies this delicate theological matter:

“If you do not put a difference between justification wrought by the man Christ without and sanctification wrought by the Spirit of Christ within, you are not able to divide the Word aright; but contrariwise, you corrupt the Word of God, and cast stumbling blocks before the people.” 

Pastor M.R. DeHaan (1891-1968) effectively said the very same thing, but in these different words:

“There is a vast difference between coming to Jesus for salvation and coming after Jesus for service. Coming to Christ makes one a believer, while coming after Christ makes one a disciple. All believers are not disciples. To become a believer one accepts the invitation of the Gospel, to be a disciple one obeys the challenge to a life of dedicated service and separation. Salvation comes through the sacrifice of Christ; discipleship comes only by sacrifice of self and surrender to His call for devoted service. Salvation is free, but discipleship involves paying the price of a separated walk. Salvation can't be lost because it depends upon God's faithfulness, but discipleship can be lost because it depends upon our faithfulness.” —Pastor M.R. DeHaan, Hebrews; Zondervan Publishing House, 1959 (p. 117).

Do you see the drastic and clear DIFFERENCE between justification (salvation) wrought without by the man Christ, versus the sanctification (growing in grace) wrought within every born-again believer by the indwelling Holy Spirit (Romans 8:9; 1st John 3:24)? I am confident that you do. God saves a man by faith alone, which is strictly a legal matter (Romans 4:4-7; 1st John 2:2); and then the indwelling Holy Spirit continues to work on that redeemed child of God to change him, but we must yield to the Spirit's leading if we are to grow (1st Peter 2:2; Romans 12:1-2).

Turning away from your sinful ways has NOTHING to do with accepting the free gift of God by faith alone. It makes good sense to the unsaved carnal man (1st Corinthians 2:14-16), that a lost person must reasonably be expected by God to stop committing the very sins for which Christ died, as a requirement to be saved; however, this is NOT God's simple plan of salvation. THE TRUTH is that we all do just that, we all continue living in sin! The Apostle Paul in Romans 7:24 didn't say: “O wretched man that I used to be,” he said: “O wretched man that I am.” Romans 7:24, “O wretched man that I am! who shall deliver me from the body of this death?” Paul was still a wretched sinner! Paul wasn't a little sinner, or a venial sinner (Catholic false doctrine). No, the Apostle Paul was a mortal sinner just like you and me. The Roman Catholic distinction between “venial sins” versus “mortal sins” is Satanic rubbish. What saith the Scripture? James 2:10, “For whosoever shall keep the whole law, and yet offend in one point, he is guilty of all.” Even if you commit the most seemingly insignificant of sins, you might as well have become a serial killer, because in God's sight YOU ARE GUILTY!

Even one sin is enough to keep a person out of Heaven, and for God to cast them into the fires of Hell forever to be punished. Since we are flawed human beings, we cannot even begin to comprehend the holiness and righteousness of God. We are so wicked as humans that we have fooled ourselves into thinking that a growing fetus in a mother's womb is not yet a human being (Roe vs. Wade, 1972). Abortionists are only kidding themselves!!! Abortion is cruel and cold-blooded, first-degree, premediated MURDER!!! We are an ungodly nation of murderers! And yet we have the audacity to question God's righteousness for sentencing a Christ-rejecting sinner to the Lake of Fire forever? We don't have that right, nor the good sense to know enough to make such a judgment against our good God.

Life is short, Hell is hot and eternity is a long time! Jesus plainly warned in John 3:3b, “Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.” The new birth is not optional if you want to escape Hell and go to Heaven. Romans 5:8-9, “But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us. Much more then, being now justified by his blood, we shall be saved from wrath through him.” ONLY JESUS SAVES!!!

Evangelist Ray Comfort is not a saved man, who has a warped misunderstanding of what it means to be born-again. Ray errantly teaches that “born again” refers to having a “radical experience,” but that is not what it means at all. Since Adam chose to sin, sin and death entered into the world, passing down upon all mankind, so that we are born with a single nature devoid of the Spirit and knowledge of God. Therefore, we absolutely need to be born for the second time, this time spiritually, by the Holy Spirit of God.

This wonderful new birth is a supernatural miracle (John 1:12-13), wrought only by God in response to a person's faith in the Good News of Jesus Christ crucified, buried and bodily risen the third day (Romans 1:16; 1st Corinthians 15:1-4; Galatians 3:26). Getting saved (i.e., born again) is a free gift from God, which requires no form of payment (such as giving up your sinful bad habits), nor are there any obligations imposed (e.g., living a lifestyle of repentance). John 3:6-7, “That which is born of the flesh is flesh; and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit. Marvel not that I said unto thee, Ye must be born again.” Jesus in this passage is simply contrasting the fleshly birth (of water; a mother's water bag) versus the spiritual birth by the Holy Spirit of God). Nicodemus had never heard these truths before, so Jesus taught him, so that he could get saved and also go preach the Gospel to others. I sincerely believe that Nicodemus did get saved, who helped Joseph of Arimathea embalm and bury Jesus.

Hell is a horrifying place. It is a literal physical place, which the Bible plainly teaches is down inside the earth. We read concerning Christ in Acts 2:27, “Because thou wilt not leave my soul in hell, neither wilt thou suffer thine Holy One to see corruption.” But Jesus comforted the repentant thief on the cross, by promising him that they would both be in Paradise that very day. Luke 23:43, “And Jesus said unto him, Verily I say unto thee, To day shalt thou be with me in paradise.” So how did Jesus' soul go to Hell and Paradise the same day? His physical body was buried and sealed in the tomb. The only logical answer is that Hell (Hades) is compartmentalized, with the place of Paradise on one side, and the place of Torment on the other. This is exactly what we see in the true story of the rich man and Lazarus in Luke 16:19-31. There was a great gulf fixed between the two sides, so that no one could cross over to the other. Once a person dies in their sins and goes to Hell, it is too late.

And by the way, the Devil has never been to Hell!!! The Bible teaches in Job 1:7, “And the LORD said unto Satan, Whence comest thou? Then Satan answered the LORD, and said, From going to and fro in the earth, and from walking up and down in it.” I am not sure what that last part means. How does Satan walk up and down in the earth? Remember, Satan is a spirit and not a physical entity. I believe that the fallen angels were disembodied when they were cast down to the earth, when Lucifer rebelled in Heaven and was cast down to the earth. Hollywood often portrays the Devil and demons as torturing the damned in Hell, but I cannot find even one place in the Scripture where this happened. God created Hell to punish the Devil and his angels, not employee them to help God punish those who go there.

The Bible teaches that Jesus' soul went to Hell for three days (Acts 2:27). Yet in the following Bible verse we learn that Jesus' soul spent three days and nights in the heart of the earth. Matthew 12:40, “For as Jonas was three days and three nights in the whale's belly; so shall the Son of man be three days and three nights in the heart of the earth.” Thus, we can logically deduct that Hell is in fact in the heart (center) of the earth.

Now, we read in Revelation 20:14 that death and Hell will someday be cast into the Lake of Fire (Gehenna), which is a different place it seems. I do not know, to be honest. Hell (Hades) is similar to jail, where an accused person awaits their court trial. Those in Hell (Hades) right now are awaiting The Great White Throne Of Judgment (Revelation 20:11-15). Sadly, they have at least 1,000 years to wait, because The Great White Throne Judgment won't happen until after the 1,000 year Millennial reign of Christ as King over the earth from the city of Jerusalem. We saints (who will have been raptured and received our immortal bodies) we help Jesus reign the Bible says (Revelation 20:6).

Even after one billion years in the prison of Hell, it won't even be the beginning. I have a difficult time wrapping my brain around that. Have you ever thought why God will release Satan from his imprisonment toward the end of the 1,000 year Millennium? Could it be that God wants to silence all His critics who accuse Him of being unfair? Many people accuse God of being hateful and cruel, not giving people a second chance who go to Hell. But God is going to release from the Bottomless Pit, loosened from his chains, the Devil.

God is going to give the most evil and corrupt entity in the universe a second chance! Wow! That is a good and fair God. But Satan will immediately return to his former evil works, roaming about the earth as a lion seeking whom he may devour (1st Peter 5:8). The Devil is a liar and a murderer (John 8:44), who only comes as a thief in the night to kill, steal and destroy (John 10:10). Thus, God will prove and settle the matter once and for all, by allowing the most evil person who ever lived to have a second chance, but Lucifer will prove that he hasn't repented. God is just, good and fair in all His judgments. 2nd Timothy 2:13, “If we believe not, yet he abideth faithful: he cannot deny himself.”

Please don't go to Hell whoever you may be. Make sure that you are saved. Understanding the facts of the Gospel isn't enough. You personally must place your confidence, trust, reliance upon the facts of Christ's death on the cross, His burial and bodily resurrection the third day. These THREE facts of history comprise “THE GOSPEL,” by which we are saved if we simply BELIEVE. Romans 1:16, “For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek.” Do you believe this Good News? I got saved at age 13 in Chicago. All I did was put my trust in the risen Savior, believing that He died for my sins on the cross. Jesus paid it all!

I don't owe Him anything. That is very important to understand, because salvation is of the Lord. If I owe Him anything, then salvation couldn't have been a free gift, but instead it would have been a reward. Sadly, Dr. Steve Pettit (president of Bob Jones University since 2014) even calls getting saved a “reward.” Mr. Pettit is an incompetent preacher, and a Satanic Calvinist theological liar! Calvinism is of the Devil, as was the unsaved heretic preacher John Calvin (1509-1564). Study online and you will find that John Calvin murdered 58 people for disagreeing with his perverse theology! So much for living a changed life (as Calvinism falsely requires to get to Heaven). The Bible says that eternal life is a free gift (Romans 5:15-18).

There is no time in Hell. There is no rest, no sleep, no break and no end to the suffering. Luke 16:24, “And he cried and said, Father Abraham, have mercy on me, and send Lazarus, that he may dip the tip of his finger in water, and cool my tongue; for I am tormented in this flame.” This Bible verse teaches that no one in Hell can even receive a drop of water. We know that people in Hell have a soul and a body, according to Matthew 10:28, “And fear not them which kill the body, but are not able to kill the soul: but rather fear him which is able to destroy both soul and body in hell.” The human body cannot survive more than a few days without water, but the body that God will provide condemned sinners in Hell will be able to suffer dehydration forever without any water!!! Think about that dear reader, because I am scared for people who aren't saved. Hebrews 10:31, “It is a fearful thing to fall into the hands of the living God.”

Think of a time in your life when you were extremely thirsty, and desperately needed a drink of water, but there was none. Last July I moved from the island of Guam to Pensacola, Florida. It gets hotter here in Florida than it does on Guam. I had a bottle of cold water as I walked along Pensacola Beach in July, but I drank it quickly, as I perspired in the hot sun. I had walked about a half mile along the beach in the hot sun. I was panting and needed water, so I walked up to the various hotels. But the gates were locked and required a key card which only hotel guests had. So I couldn't enter to find water. There were no concession stands where I had walked. The only place to get water, that I knew of, was way back by the long pier that is famously associated with Pensacola Beach. I was roasting in the sun, walking in the hot burning sand under my feet. So I walked and walked and finally found a way to walk to the front street, seeking water. My heart was pounding, literally hurting from the sun and lack of water. I was worried I might have a stroke in the heat. As I walked and began to worry more and more, I finally made it to the front of a hotel. I saw an employee at the outside greeting counter, and asked him where I could please buy water. The young man kindly handed me an ice cold bottle of water, which I drank all the way down in about 30 seconds! That was the closest I ever came to suffering a heat stroke. So I learned an important lesson last summer, to never stray too far in the hot sun, and to always have plenty of water with me.

A person in Hell, for the first time in their life, will have NOTHING BUT EMPTYINESS to think about why they refused to get born-again. You see, nearly everyone who is still alive on earth doesn't even bother to think about the future. They sit at home watching late Night TV, mocking sin and making fun of the Holy Bible, idolizing they perverse idol celebrities. They blaspheme God and dismiss the inspired Word of God as mere fables. Most heathens will say that rich men wrote the Bible only to control the naïve masses of society. Vladimir Lenin called religion, the opiate (drug) of the people (and it is). But religion never saved anybody! Religion is the worst thing that ever happened to this sick and dying world. Salvation is NOT found in a religion, but only in the person of the Lord Jesus Christ (Acts 4:10-12; John 14:6).

I am horrified for those people who are suffering in Hell this moment. Even if Christ returned right now, they would have to wait for at least 1,000 years (the 7-year Tribulation, plus the 1,000 year Millennium) until their day in court. And tragically, EVERYONE who appears at The Great White Throne Of Judgment will be guilty and sentenced to the everlasting Lake of Fire. This is the appropriate title of Michael P. Bowen's excellent book: “I Never Knew You: The Horror Of The Coming Great White Throne Judgment And How You Can Avoid It!” This is the clearest book I have read in defense of the simplicity of the Gospel. If you want to solidify your salvation beliefs, please read this helpful book, which is 100% Scriptural. I cannot recommend it enough! if you have an unsaved love one and think they might read this book, it makes a wonderful gift, which I have given to umpteen people that I care about. Two Things You Need To Do To Lose Weight

Proverbs 18:1, “Through desire a man, having separated himself, seeketh and intermeddleth with all wisdom. A fool hath no delight in understanding, but that his heart may discover itself.”

I love to share helpful things that I learn with others. For those of my blog visitors who have been following my website ministry (which by God's grace I began in April of 2002), then you know that I genuinely care about people. I have never made a penny from my intense internet labors. This is a ministry of love for God, truth and people. The greatest things in life aren't things!

I have taken a keen interest in healthy eating and living since I was diagnosed with stage 4 type II diabetes in 2015 when my infected gall bladder was removed. In 2016 I met with a diabetic specialist doctor, who had me injecting myself with 40 units per day of insulin into my stomach. But my left foot started to go numb after 2 months of injecting myself with insulin, which the doctor couldn't explain, so I refused to inject myself anymore with insulin.

On February 21st, 2017 my daily sugar reading was 399 mg/dl. My A1C level was 9.8 mmol/l. That is very bad! I weighed 215 pounds. By God's grace, I was about to turn 50 years old on March 5th, 2017 so I felt compelled to take control of my health. I was tired of being fat, looking pregnant, diabetic and feeling my left foot go numb from peripheral neuropathy (nerve damage from diabetes). So I did what less than 1% of people ever do, I went on a crash fast, losing 58 pounds in just 10 weeks. On May 8th I weighed only 158 pounds. But I didn't stop there, by June 25th, 2017 I weighed 146.0 on my digital scale. That's what I weighed at age 18. With the Lord's inspiration, I lost 69 pounds in just 16 weeks!!! Amen.

By to be honest, I did it the wrong way! Although I succeeded, I had incredible determination, something that even now I cannot repeat, because I've lost that uncommon motivation. But the good news is that there is a much better way to lose weight, and keep it off permanently. I am going to share two things with you that you MUST do to lose weight, and if you decide to do it, YOU WILL LOSE WEIGHT! Nearly everything that you will find to read on the internet about losing weight is FALSE! Yes, that is correct, most of the advice on losing weight online is bad advice!!!

For example: Many websites will tell you that if you are not hungry, don't eat. Dear reader, that is the WORST thing you can do! And this is my first point to a guaranteed way to lose weight. YOU MUST EAT!!! Unless you have the extremely uncommon determination to eat next to nothing to lose weight, you will fail and fail and fail. Most people get tied of being obese and on the spur of the moment decide to go on a crash fast. That is what I did in 2017 and I succeeded. But I was among the less than 1% of overweight people who can do that. It was just the right time and right place in my life, but that will power is long gone.

I couldn't do that today. I know, because in 2019 I gained MOST of my weight back which I had lost. I tried a few dozen times in 2019 and 2020 to lose weight, but failed EVERY TIME. I was perplexed and frustrated, wondering how I had ever lost 69 pounds in just 16 weeks, but now could not lose one pound in a year. What was different? I realized that my will power was gone. It is true that most people who lose a significant amount of weight and then yo-yo up and down with their weight, like I did, find it harder each time they lose weight to lose more weight. So what do we do? WHAT DO WE DO?

In 2021 I met a new doctor, a vegetarian. He introduced me to the healthy benefits of eating natural, healthy foods. Here is the documentary if you'd like to watch it ...

WEIGHT LOSS MEDICINE

I am not a vegetarian, nor do I think I will ever be. But I have been trying to eat much less red meat for a few reasons. I've done a lot of homework and learned that red meat causes inflammation in most people, especially if you suffer from arthritis like I do. I have suffered from horrible cervical osteoarthritis in my neck since 2004. I take prescription pain medications, but they only take the edge off, I am still in pain all the time.

I've noticed that when I eat a healthy diet high in fiber (whole grains, fruit, seeds, nuts and beans), I feel better overall and my neck pain seems to be more manageable. The episodes of intense unbearable pain in my neck seem to be less when I consistently eat a healthy diet. I've done much reading, which seems to confirm this. The doctor I have now is not a good doctor, she doesn't care about my weight, blood or overall health. She always has one hand on the doorknob when I meet with her. It is hard to find a good doctor. And also, they need to accept your type of insurance and length of injury. So it gets complicated. Fortunately, I am still able to get 40 mg a day of Oxycontin. I need and used to take 80 mg for over 11 years, but Florida has cracked down on prescription pain drugs. It is not fair or reasonable, but it is what it is. I digress.

Back to the main focus of this article, there are two things that you MUST do to lose weight, and it is possible, bearable and reasonable to do. As I mentioned, the first thing is to eat! Trying to starve yourself on a crash diet is simply not sustainable. It is VERY hard to do and sustain. A much better way to lose weight is to EAT a healthy diet of high protein, high fiber foods that will make you feel full and satisfied for longer periods of time.

• For breakfast today I eat a bowl of old-fashioned oatmeal, sprinkled with cinnamon, flax seeds and pure unprocessed honey (made by happy bees right here in Pensacola).
• For a mid-morning snack I sometimes eat a container of Greek yogurt. I didn't today, but I can still have it anytime if I want it. Stay away from Yoplait and other high in sugar yogurts, which are bad for you. Greek yogurt os low in sugar. Better, yet, plain yogurt has no sugar, which I often eat. But for now I have 6 Chobani coconut and 6 strawberry. Last time I purchased Chobani Black Cherry flavor, which is my favorite.
• For lunch today I ate 2 chicken breasts which I baked yesterday. I also ate a dozen creamer potatoes (baby white potatoes that have a natural buttery flavor...good stuff. They're about 20 calories each). I cooked a whole box of brown rice yesterday and stored it in a plastic container in the refrigerator. Today I ate about 3/4 cup brown rice for lunch. It makes me feel full all afternoon, since it digests slower than white rice.
• For an afternoon snack I will eat some mild salsa on whole grain crackers with chunky guacamole. I bought this all at Walmart yesterday.
• For an evening snack I will eat a vanilla protein smoothie with frozen peaches, frozen pitted cherries, one brown raw egg, some nutmeg, a little cinnamon, a cup of unsweetened almond milk, and some flax seeds added into my Nutri-Ninja. If you don't have a Nutri-Ninja, you are missing out! I love this thing. I bought the 1100 watt unit. Walmart sells them, but they sell-out quick! Before I go to bed I will put one whole lemon (rind, seeds and all) into my Nutri-Ninja with some blueberries and water, and mix it for 40 seconds. One lemon only contains 17 to 20 calories! Lemon peel is soooo good for you!!!
• For dinner, I will eat one-fourth container of sliced rotisserie chicken (75 calories) on one folded slice of Ezekiel bread (80 calories), with some mustard.

That is my meal for today. As you can see, I am eating well, enjoying my day. During the day I can eat all the pickles I want to snack on, which I do. The entire jar is only 5 calories!

Now the SECOND thing that you must do to lose weight, and this is important, is that WHEN you feel hungry (and you will), only eat healthy foods. If you're used to eating processed and deep fried foods, that is what you will crave (it rhymes with GRAVE...lol). What you eat today, you will crave tomorrow!!! So the first step to losing weight is to go on a 7-day fast of eating ONLY HEALTHY FOODS (seeds, nuts, fruits, vegetables, lean meats and grains). Drink only mineral water or unsweetened green tea. Coffee is okay. At the end of the week, you taste buds will be reset, and you should now be craving healthy foods instead of junk foods.

I fully know the temptation to backslide from my healthy eating and give-in to consume a Tombstone pizza, deep fried foods with plenty of ketchup and all. And if you do, don't panic, it is okay, just start again tomorrow. NEVER GIVE UP at taking better care of yourself. To have losing weight as your goal is not the best goal. A much better goal is to start eating healthy, and then you will automatically lose body weight over time. Depending on how overweight you are, it may take a couple years to lose 100 pounds. If you can crash diet, great, but most people cannot and fail 100% of the time. But everyone CAN eat a healthier diet. Nearly everyone DOESN'T regularly eat seeds, nuts, whole grains, beans, lentils or oatmeal.

Most people fry everything, but baking is MUCH healthier. I only use non-trans fatty oils; such as, olive oil and sunflower oil. I sprinkle extra virgin olive oil over my salads. When I do deep fry anything, like breaded shrimp, from time to time, I only use sunflower oil. But if you want to LOSE weight, you should avoid deep fried foods and anything breaded. I heard actor Nicole Kidman say publicly that the way she stays skinny is by eating 25 of whatever she likes and wants, and then eats 75% of what she needs (all the less appealing healthy stuff). A can of sardines cannot compare to Dominoes pizza, I'm sorry, it is true! But the sardines are MUCH healthier for you. I have oatmeal, but it is good for me!

So these are the TWO THINGS that I do to lose weight, slow but guaranteed:

1. Eat (but only healthy foods)
2. Snack on only healthy foods in between meals

And of course, I should probably add a third thing, which is simply to COUNT YOUR CALORIES!!! I don't need to count calories anymore, because I have done this for so long that I know what I can and cannot eat to lose weight. If you can just reduce your daily calories intake by 25% of your maintenance calories, you'll lose one pound per week. To find your maintenance calories, simply multiply your weight times 10. So if you weight 150 pounds, multiple that times ten, which is 1500 calories per day. If you weight 200, then your maintenance calories should be around 2000 calories per day. This is the amount of calories required daily to maintain your present weight. So if you are 200 pounds, but want to lose weight to get down to 150 pounds, then you should just eat 1500 calories per day, and your body WILL ADJUST over time.

Eating unhealthy processed and deep-fried foods make you crave more of them, which is why you get fat. You cannot get fat eating beans! Beans are a superfood, very high in protein and fiber. All the red meat that men love contains ZERO fiber, which clogs up your colon and leads to multiple health issues down the road. Everyone needs fiber! Beans have lots of fiber. One can of beans provides 100% of a person's daily need for fiber. Less than 5% of the food choices listed on restaurant menus contain any fiber. No wonder Americans are so sick!

I try to avoid white bread and instead of Ezekiel bread, which is flourless and contains only WHOLE GRAINS. it takes longer for your body to digest whole grains, so you feel full longer. Processed flours used in most breads digest quickly, so you want more soon thereafter.

After I eat a healthy meal, I have horrible cravings at times. We all do. The key is to snack on very healthy foods (some cottage cheese, salsa and whole grains crackers, a sliced turkey sandwich on a slice or two of Ezekiel bread, Greek yogurt) until your cravings go away, and THEY WILL. Eat slow! Drink plenty of mineral water. Within 30 to 45 minutes you won't be hungry anymore. If you can train your mind and body to eat healthy three times a day, and to ONLY snack on healthy foods when cravings arise, then YOU WILL LOSE WEIGHT. It is a guarantee. If you are eating truly healthy foods (this excludes pizza, boxed foods, sodas and snack chips), then you should be able to eat comfortably without eating your maintenance calories.

Remember, to lose weight you absolutely MUST eat less calories than you are burning each day. it is that simple. But using the formula that I just gave you, will allow you to eat and enjoy yourself, while still losing weight. It really all comes down to just making sure that you ONLY eat healthy foods. If you're like me, eating green leafy vegetables once in a while is okay, but you get tired of eating them every day. It's more fun to eat KFC, McDonalds or Arby's. But those foods are all highly processed and lacking in nutrients, so you are always hungry for more. 

When I lost just 30 pounds (going from 215 pounds down to 185 pounds in just 30 days in 2017, my A1C sugar level dropped significantly from 9.8 mmol/l down to 6.0). I got rid of type II diabetes in 30 days! An A1C of 5.2 is perfect, which I achieved at 177 pounds. For someone who is diabetic, losing weight is much harder, because you don't have enough insulin. The pancreas works fine in a type II diabetic person, but since they are so fat, the poor pancreas just can't produce enough of the hormone insulin.

All the food that we eat turns into glucose (body sugar, energy) in the bloodstream. When the pancreas sense more glucose in the blood, it produces insulin which causes the blood to release that energy into your cells, liver and muscles. But if your are diabetic, then there is not enough insulin, and so your cells, liver and muscles cannot get the energy that they need, and send "I'm hungry" messages to the brain. So you are super hungry all the time, even though you eat plenty of food. The dangerous consequence is that all that extra glucose is stored as more fat.

This is why a diabetic person needs to avoid spiking their glucose levels, by eating the wrong foods, because it will just make you even more hungry. Here is a Glycemic Index (this chart shows how much different foods raise blood sugar levels)...

The purpose of the preceding chart is to help a diabetic person lose weight. To avoid unbearable cravings, a diabetic person should eat only foods low on the G.I. scale.

So when you read (or hear someone on the internet say) that you SHOULND'T EAT if you're not hungry, don't listen to them because they don't know what they're talking about. If you desire to lose weight, the worst thing you can do is not to eat, because when you do get hungry you will binge! If you desire to lose weight, you should eat some protein (fish, chicken, Greek yogurt, cottage cheese, beans, eggs, tofu) about the size of your fist every 4 to 5 hours throughout the day, which will prevent binging on the unhealthy foods you shouldn't eat. by EATING every 4 or 5 hours, you retain CONTROL over your hunger. But when you try to starve yourself, YOU LOSE CONTROL when the discomfort becomes so bad that you can't take it anymore, and you eat everything in sight.

The best, safest and smartest way to guaranteed lose weight is SLOW but CONSISTENTLY. At first you will be skeptical and a bit discouraged, which is normal. But if you will do what I shared with you in this article, eating only healthy foods three times a day, and stay under your maintenance calories per day, you will see the scale drop, and it will continue to drop. Once you see the scale start to drop, you will get excited knowing that what you are doing is working. Losing weight requires a different mindset than you've had to gain weight. We all gain weight because we don't even try to maintain or lose weight, we just eat until we feel full. By eating irresponsibly like that, anybody can easily gain 30 to 40 pounds in just 3 months!!!

Losing weight requires a plan! Once you have a plan, then follow it. If you deviate from the course, that's okay, just get back up and do better tomorrow. Losing weight is a war. Our goal should be to win more battles than we lose. If we do that, then we will win the war! The next time you go to the grocery store, buy healthy foods, and don't buy the unhealthy foods. If it's in your house, it's in your mouth! I see umpteen people at Walmart with cases of plastic soda pop bottles hanging off the sides of the carts. Everyone of them are overweight!!! Soda is loaded with unhealthy toxic sugars and impurities, which are full of liquid calories!

If you don't have a household digital scale, you should buy one. I bought the extra-wide scale, simply because the small scale is awkward to try to stand on. Bigger is better! And then DON'T look at the scale every day, because it will discourage you. Remember the HYDRATE in carbohydrate, because every time you eat carbohydrates, your body will retain about 5 pounds in water. One gallon of water equals 8 pounds!!! In other words, your scale will greatly fluctuate from day to day. So just weigh once a week. If you do look at the scale daily, don't let it discourage you. As long as you're eating less calories than your body is burning, YOU KNOW of a scientific certainty that you WILL lose weight. It is an absolute guarantee.

NIV Perversion Of Bible Corrupts Romans 6:23

Romans 6:23, “For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.” Genesus 3:1, “Now the serpent was more subtil than any beast of the field which the LORD God had made.  And he said unto the woman, Yea, hath God said, Ye shall not eat of every tree of the garden?”

Since Genesis 3:1, the serpent (Satan - Revelation 20:2) has been corrupting the Word of God to deceive mankind:

KING JAMES BIBLE - Romans 6:23, “For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.”

NEW INTERNATIONAL VERSION - Romans 6:23, “For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.”

The NIV makes a major blunder in this passage, changing salvation “THROUGH” Jesus Christ to “IN” Jesus Christ. Small changes have profound meanings! In fact, we are saved THROUGH Jesus Christ, not IN Christ. God the Father saves us THROUGH His only begotten Son. You cannot get to Heaven apart from the Son of God. John 20:31, “But these are written, that ye might believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God; and that believing ye might have life through his name.”

There is a big difference between THROUGH versus IN something or someone. Galatians 3:26, “For ye are all the children of God by faith in Christ Jesus.” Although we are saved by placing our faith IN Christ, God the Father saves us THROUGH His only begotten Son. Redemption is a work of God the Son. Regeneration is the work of God the Holy Spirit. Justification is the work of God the Father as He declares the sinner righteous through the Son. Conversion then becomes the work of the church as we change the use and purpose of a life. Beware of the Devil's Bibles, because they are corrupt. Things that are different and NOT the same!!! Please use ONLY the inspired King James Bible.

God Does Not Hate Any Human Being

Romans 9:13, “As it is written, Jacob have I loved, but Esau have I hated.”

Matthew 5:43-46, “Ye have heard that it hath been said, Thou shalt love thy neighbour, and hate thine enemy. But I say unto you, Love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them which despitefully use you, and persecute you; That ye may be the children of your Father which is in heaven: for he maketh his sun to rise on the evil and on the good, and sendeth rain on the just and on the unjust. For if ye love them which love you, what reward have ye? do not even the publicans the same?”

I heard Pastor Steven L. Anderson today say in a sermon that God hates some people. (That is a great sermon by the way, I just disagree that God hates homosexuals) As his text passage, Brother Anderson quotes Romans 9:13, “As it is written, Jacob have I loved, but Esau have I hated.” In the sermon he says that as a teenager a girl opened his eyes to this belief, that God doesn't love everyone.

Kindly said, I totally disagree with Pastor Anderson's thinking and teaching. First let me say, I love and support Pastor Anderson for his aggressive soulwinning ministry. I truly do love the guy! Albeit, my foremost loyalty is to God. I must preach the Word! I am writing this blog for your benefit dear reader, because I don't want you to ever think that it is okay to hate anybody.

It saddens me that Pastor Anderson takes one single passage out of context, to base his false belief that we should hate unrepentant sinners. What saith the Scripture? ...

Matthew 5:43-46, “Ye have heard that it hath been said, Thou shalt love thy neighbour, and hate thine enemy. But I say unto you, Love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them which despitefully use you, and persecute you; That ye may be the children of your Father which is in heaven: for he maketh his sun to rise on the evil and on the good, and sendeth rain on the just and on the unjust. For if ye love them which love you, what reward have ye? do not even the publicans the same?”

Why would God tell us to hate our enemies, when God Himself loves His enemies? Are sodomites God's enemies? Yes, they are! Yet as we just read, God still blesses them with rain and is kind to them. Does that sound like hatred to you? It is God's unconditional love, which every born-again believer who walks with God possesses, just as our heavenly Father. Jesus rebuked the unbelieving Jews in John 5:42, “But I know you, that ye have not the love of God in you.”

Did God really hate Esau as a human being? No, God loves everyone. 2nd Peter 3:9, “The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.” The Bible says that God is not willing that “ANY” should perish (this must includes all sodomites too). The Bible says that God is willing that “ALL” should come to repentance (i.e., change their mind from unbelief to believing the Gospel to be saved). Dear reader, ALL means ALL (so this must also includes the homosexual community). Yes, God desires for all homosexuals to repent (think differently) to be saved.

I cannot find a single passage of Scripture that teaches us as God's children to hate anyone. In sharp contrast, I do find numerous passages of Scripture that teach us to love everyone. Jude 1:22, “And of some have compassion, making a difference:”

Now, I love that Pastor Anderson preaches hard against sin. We ought to expose sin, falsehoods and evil. Preaching against sin is not hatred, it is love. The truth is only HATE to those that hate THE TRUTH! I am all for hard preaching against sin. But there must be a balance between truth and love, because truth without love kills! 2nd Corinthians 3:6, “Who also hath made us able ministers of the new testament; not of the letter, but of the spirit: for the letter killeth, but the spirit giveth life.” We must never accept the sin with the sinner, nor reject the sinner with the sin.

What about Psalms 139:21-22, “Do not I hate them, O LORD, that hate thee?  and am not I grieved with those that rise up against thee? I hate them with perfect hatred: I count them mine enemies.” This is what we call in theology “Imprecatory Praying.” It is important that you understand you can hate everything about a person, but still love that person as a human being for whom Jesus Christ died on the cross. God hated Esau's for his carnality and sin, but God loved Esau as a person. I know that for a fact, because as a child of God I have God's Holy Spirit living inside me, and I love people even though I hate things about them.

We should never hate anyone. Hateful thoughts can lead to hateful behavior! There is a fine line between faith and foolishness friend. God is love. 1st John 4:8, “He that loveth not knoweth not God; for God is love.” The Bible says you don't know God if you don't love people. I am so disappointed in most pastor I meet today, who woefully lack God's love and compassion for divorced people, sinners and hurting souls. It is tragic that the pastorate has been reduced to a mere occupation nowadays, instead of a divine calling from God.

Dear friend, the ONLY thing that can win the hardest of unsaved people to Christ is LOVE. Love makes a difference! People don't care what you know, until they know that you care! That is one reason why I refuse to ever accept any money for my internet ministry. I have had umpteen people offer to send me donations, and I could make tons of money if I wanted to online; but this is a labor of love for Jesus Christ and people. I want everyone to know where my heart is at. My heart is in YOU dear friend. 2nd Corinthians 3:2, “Ye are our epistle written in our hearts, known and read of all men: Forasmuch as ye are manifestly declared to be the epistle of Christ ministered by us, written not with ink, but with the Spirit of the living God; not in tables of stone, but in fleshy tables of the heart.”

May we all love everyone in our life. I decided long ago that I am going to unconditionally love everyone on the planet, even the vilest of evil guilty criminals. That doesn't mean I want them to be spared the death penalty. I am all for Capital Punishment for murderers, rapists and pedophiles (and so is the Holy Bible). Ecclesiastes 8:11, “Because sentence against an evil work is not executed speedily, therefore the heart of the sons of men is fully set in them to do evil.” Locking a human being in a cage is human cruelty. Wicked men lock people in cages! God's way is Capital Punishment!!! One evil begets another evil. Our nation is in a mess today because we are leaning upon our own sinful understanding, instead of obeying the Holy Bible to trust in the Lord (Proverbs 3:5-7).

I heard Pastor Anderson at the end of his sermon say that he has a queer uncle, and he hates him. Pastor Anderson says that everybody has a queer uncle, and he wants to spit on his grave. What saith the Scripture? Ezekiel 33:11, “Say unto them, As I live, saith the Lord GOD, I have no pleasure in the death of the wicked; but that the wicked turn from his way and live: turn ye, turn ye from your evil ways; for why will ye die, O house of Israel?” I also had a queer uncle (go figure), on my father's side of the family. He died many years ago of A.I.D.S. I never met anybody from my father's side of the family, all from the state of Michigan. But I saw a photo of my uncle, while holding a cat, sitting on a couch. My father told me the sad story. My father's family was consumed with wickedness, all unbelievers. My father said he broke the chain of wickedness, being the first Christian in his family, and a Bible preacher. I am glad that my Dad broke his family's chain of wickedness, instead of continuing it! Amen. But I never felt hatred for my uncle, whom I never met. I humbly believe that we ought never hate anybody.

If someone has hurt you, place them into God's hand for judgment. That way you can forgive them and move on. The hardest thing to do is forgive someone who has hurt you, or hurt one of your loved ones. But you can forgive others, knowing that God for Christ's sake forgave you of your wickedness. Ephesians 4:31-32, “Let all bitterness, and wrath, and anger, and clamour, and evil speaking, be put away from you, with all malice: And be ye kind one to another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God for Christ's sake hath forgiven you.”

Even defiant homosexuals still need to know that God hasn't given up on them ever getting saved. It is silly, unbiblical and wrong to ostracize one particular group of sinners (homosexuals), while still offering hope and love to adulterers, murderers and thieves. If there is still hope for any lost sinner to come to Jesus Christ, then there is still hope for YOU too!

The Three Wills Of God For Divorce And Remarriage

Mark 10:9, “What therefore God hath joined together, let not man put asunder.”

Matthew 19:8, “He saith unto them, Moses because of the hardness of your hearts suffered you to put away your wives: but from the beginning it was not so.”

1st Corinthians 7:7, “For I would that all men were even as I myself. But every man hath his proper gift of God, one after this manner, and another after that.”

1st Corinthians 7:1: “Now concerning the things whereof ye wrote unto me: It is good for a man not to touch a woman. Nevertheless, to avoid fornication, let every man have his own wife, and let every woman have her own husband.” 1st Corinthians 7:9, “But if they cannot contain, let them marry: for it is better to marry than to burn.”

There is much controversy over the Bible subject of divorce and remarriage. In my humble opinion, much damage is being done by the hypocritical Pensacola Christian College camp today, who shameful shun, reject, condemn and mistreat divorced single people who hope to get remarried. When I first attended Campus Church in 2021, Pastor Jeff Redlin mistreated me as a divorced person, making me feel like garbage by berating, even scolding me for hoping to find a wife at church. That is a very bad pastor, and not a humble man of God.

I can save you a lot of confusion and grief dear reader, by sharing with you a truth that Pastor Jack Hyles wisely taught me from the Holy Bible. There are, in act, THREE WILLS OF GOD for your life:

1. God's perfect will
2. God's acceptable will
3. God's permissive will

Let me elaborate, using marriage as an example:

1. God's PERFECT WILL is for one man and one woman to get legally married, and to remain faithful to each other for life. This is another reason why imprisonment of married people is wrong in God's sight, because it separates a husband and wife. In God's justice system, the death penalty would prevent this dilemma from happening, freeing the innocent spouse to remarry within God's will.
2. But if there is the sin of divorce, then God's ACCEPTABLE WILL is for both husband and wife to remain single for the rest of their life, as did the Apostle Paul. I believe that Paul was divorced because he mentioned being “loosed from a wife.”
3. But if a divorced person is burning with lust, and cannot bear it, then there is God's PERMISSIVE WILL, which we see clearly in 1st Corinthians 7:1-2 and verse 9.

I humbly think I have the mind of Christ. 1st Corinthians 2:16, “For who hath known the mind of the Lord, that he may instruct him? But we have the mind of Christ.” God hates the sin of divorce (Malachi 2:16; Jeremiah 3:20) and so do I. But life is messy because people are messy. We are all sinners. In any marriage you are uniting two sinners. Marriage is supposed to be two people making a life for each other. A marriage means two people never giving up on each other. Sadly, that is not the case these days. Married couples aren't even trying anymore to work out their marital struggles, someone files for divorce (usually the woman). Dr. Jack Hyles is correct: “Divorce is a sin that perpetuates for a lifetime!”

I don't think anyone should ever even consider getting a divorce. It is a coward's revenge and taking the easy way out. I get sick looking at Match.com profiles, seeing that 90% of all the women on there seeking remarriage are divorced. It is truly tragic that Americans have become so sinfully proud, that we have zero tolerance for each other. Proverbs 13:10, “Only by pride cometh contention: but with the well advised is wisdom.”

I have been divorced and single since 2006, not by my choice. I fought for one year to stop the divorce, but U.S. courts are bullies who always get their way. After several years of painful loneliness I decided to move forward with my life. Pastor Marty Herron at the Harvest Baptist Church on Guam cut my throat and threw me under the bus between 2014-2018, preventing me and the church's school nurse from getting married. I know as sure as I am saved that she would have married me, but her unsaved thug pastor coerced her to get rid of me, and she did.

Marty Herron despises me because I TOLD THE TRUTH that he is pulling on the same rope as the Devil for preaching the Devil's lie of Lordship Salvation, for promoting the infidel Martin Luther as a born-again believer (who taught Baptismal Regeneration his entire life), for promoting the Devil's counterfeit Bible revisions. My blood is upon Marty Herron's wicked hands, and I pray for God to avenge me upon him swiftly. I will be there in eternity when Jesus tells Marty Herron: “I never knew you: I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity” (Matthew 7:23b). With my own two ears in 2014, I heard Pastor Herron wickedly tell hundreds of people in his cult: “It is not enough to admit that you are a sinner to get to Heaven, you must also turn away from a lifestyle of sinning.” BLASPEHMY!!!

That wicked fake preacher was the incompetent pastor of Harvest Baptist Church on Guam from 1999 to 2018. God only know how many thousands of lost sinners became religious, but never got born-again, because of the false plan of salvation being preached today by the Bob Jones University cult (of which Herron is a graduate and active accomplice). God's curse is upon these wicked imposters (Galatians 1:6-9). JUDGMENT DAY IS COMING MARTY!!! What a fool!

Not one verse in the inspired King James Bible teaches to forsake sinful behavior to receive God's free gift of eternal life. Jesus Christ paid your debt of sin friend, and mine, so that we wouldn't have to in Hell burning for ever and ever without hope or rest (2nd Corinthians 5:21; Revelation 14:11, 20:11-15). False knowledge is more dangerous than ignorance! Lordship Salvation is false knowledge! Satan's Bible perversions are false knowledge! The accursed Bob Jones University crowd are not ignorant, THEY ARE WICKED!!! I have warned them incessantly, but they refuse to repent of their false repentance!!!

Since 2017, as I have read thousands of women's profiles on eHarmony and Match.com, they all sound so perfect, and I see their smiling faces, but in my soul I cannot help but wonder why they ended up divorced. The truth is that we all have Skeleton Closets, and we all put forth our best selves on social media, hiding our ugly sins, faults and bad habits. I digress!

So there are three wills of God for our lives. It would be nice if we always stayed within the perfect wills of God for our life. But because we are sinners by nature and by choice, we cannot. That is why I preach hard against the ungodly Pensacola Christian College (PCC) camp today, which includes the hypocritical Campus Church, and their hypocritical senior pastor Jeff Redlin, who abused me as a divorced person in 2021. Instead of heartily welcoming me into their church, he criticized me for telling him kindly that I hoped to find a wife at church. He embarrassed me in front of his wife, saying that if I did find a women to remarry, he wouldn't perform the wedding.

Folks, that is an unwise and foolish pastor, who doesn't think before he speaks. Pastor Redlin's words were hateful, cruel and hurtful, very inconsiderate. But you see, the PCC camp only accept people who are within God's PERFECT WILL. So once you are out of God's perfect will, you are on the outside looking in, and they won't accept you anymore. Of course, if you are divorced and remarried, that is different, because in their mind those sins are in the past. But if you are divorced and single, and hoping to remarry, they look down on you as a wicked sinner, and they do shun people! In other words, PCC is out of touch with reality!

I cannot help it that my former wife chose to legally divorce me. The PCC camp would rather have a man fold a pillow and relieve himself with a box of Kleenex (I am being discreet here), than to remarry as normal people do. This is a major problem in the PCC camp! They do not acknowledge the need and reality that divorced people NEED to get remarried. But PCC is putting themselves in the place of God, condemning divorced people who are lonely, hurting and still have a healthy libido. For this reason I discourage people from going to PCC, or attending their cult that condemns hurting divorced people. What Jeff Redlin did to me is not God's love, it is hypocrisy and cruel hatred. A lot of people foolishly idolize PCC and Pastor Redlin, and sadly couldn't care less about what I am saying, because they are married and not in my painful situation. People sure can be selfish, especially religious people!!! Something needs to change in our pathetic churches, so that hurting people like me are made to feel welcomed instead of shunned by self-righteous pastors and their spoon-fed congregations.

I didn't write this blog for the Pharisaical hypocrites at PCC, because they will never repent and do better. They are arrogant and full of sinful pride, like the dead church at Sardis. I wrote this blog to encourage divorced people, letting you know that there is in fact something called: “The Acceptable Will of God” and “The Permissive Will of God.” There is life and happiness after a divorce, but you won't find it at the Pensacola Christian College cult. My former wife divorced me, so the sin is on her and not me. I blame myself too for our marital problems, taking my share of the fault, but I did not file for divorce nor did I openly agree to anything. I was coerced and literally threatened by my lawyer in 2006, with God as my witness!!!

Yet, pastor after pastor pisses on me, condemning and telling me that I must Biblically remain lonely, horny and single for the rest of my life. They say cruel things like: “Christ is all you need!,” while they hypocritically go home and make-love to their wives, enjoy home-cooked meals and have a companion by their side during surgeries and depressed times. I had NOBODY when I underwent both neck surgeries in 2009 and 2010. I wanted to die! When I am down and depressed, I have nobody to encourage me. Only a wicked, rotten, deluded and very selfish pastor would make a divorced man of 15 years of inexplicable pain of loneliness, feel guilty for desiring to remarry. I am talking about that wicked hypocrite Pastor Jeff Redlin!!! SHAME on Pensacola Christian College. SHAME! SHAME!! SHAME!!!

Exposing Missionary David W. Cloud's Satanic Gospel

1st Corinthians 15:1-4, “Moreover, brethren, I declare unto you the gospel which I preached unto you, which also ye have received, and wherein ye stand; By which also ye are saved, if ye keep in memory what I preached unto you, unless ye have believed in vain. For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures; And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures:” Romans 1:16, “For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek.”

Longtime missionary to India, Evangelist David W. Cloud is a corrupt and dangerous man doctrinally, responsible for sending thousands of people to Hell with his false gospel. The inspired Word of God very plainly defines “THE GOSPEL” by which we are saved, those who BELIEVE IT! The Gospel is the GOOD NEWS of Christ's death on the cross to pay for our sins, His burial and His miraculous bodily resurrection three days later from the dead.

In a 2012 (updated in 2019) article on his website, titled: “Repentance In Evangelism,” David Cloud heretical starts off his article with this untrue statement:

“Repentance is often a missing element in evangelism today, but it is a prominent theme in the Bible. Following are the answers to some important questions about repentance.” ~Evangelist David Cloud, “Repentance In Evangelism”

First off, although repentance is a prominent theme in the Bible, it is NOT a prominent theme in salvation. Evidence of this is that not once does the entire Gospel of John mention the word “repent.” Not once! This is because the man who BELIEVES the Gospel has also repented. Repentance and faith are not two separate actions, even though they are two separate things theologically. The word “repent” in the Bible concerning salvation always is either the Greek noun, metanoia, which means: “a change of mind”; or it is the Greek verb, metanoeo, which means: “to think differently.”

Repent in the Bible concerning salvation NEVER means to forsake or turn away from your sins, because that would constitute works. Nor does repentance mean to be willing to turn from sins. Not one verse in the inspired King James Bible (beware of the corrupt modern perversions of the Bible) says to repent “of your sins” to be saved. Ungodly false prophets added those unbiblical words to God's simple plan of salvation (Proverbs 30:5-6). As I just plainly showed you from 1st Corinthians 15:1-4, the Apostle Paul in his defining of the Gospel, never mentions turning away from your sins, nor surrendering your life to Christ as “Lord,” as David Cloud wickedly teaches (which I will show you in a moment).

Pastor Cloud is wrong on repentance and; therefore, wrong on salvation. He is an infidel, an unsaved religious man, still hellbound in his sins. This explains why David Cloud cannot understand God's free grace, which is without works (Romans 4:4-7). 

Cloud further falsely states:

“Many churches don’t preach repentance. They say that only faith is necessary for salvation. But repentance is commanded by God. It is mentioned 60 times in the New Testament.” ~Evangelist David Cloud, “Repentance In Evangelism”

Neither does the Gospel of John preach repentance! John 20:31, “But these are written, that ye might believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God; and that believing ye might have life through his name.” As you just read for yourself, the entire purpose for which God authored the Gospel of John is to show humanity how to get to Heaven. If forsaking one's sinful behavior, quitting the old sinful life, and surrender to Christ as supreme “Lord” to follow Him faithfully, were required to get to Heaven, then certainly John would have said so, but he doesn't! Neither did the Apostle Paul mention repentance in his definition of the Gospel, which Paul said in Romans 1:16 and 1st Corinthians 15:1-4 we are saved by, if we simply BELIEVE IT.

The truth is found in John 3:20-21, “For every one that doeth evil hateth the light, neither cometh to the light, lest his deeds should be reproved. But he that doeth truth cometh to the light, that his deeds may be made manifest, that they are wrought in God.” Carefully notice that the Bible DOESN'T say: “he that turns from his sins cometh to the light”; but rather, it says: “he that doeth truth cometh to the light.” Repentance is a matter of acknowledging THE TRUTH that you are a guilty sinner, seeing your need for redemption, so that you will turn to the Savior in faith alone to be saved by God's grace.

This is something very different than committing yourself to give up your sinful ways, which NO ONE has ever done. Even the best of God's saints still sin continually (Romans 7:14-25). Sadly, David Cloud is woefully ignorant of the Holy Bible, because he is still unsaved and leans upon his own human understanding, instead of trusting upon the Lord (Proverbs 3:5-7).

If you still need more Biblical evidence to support the truth I just taught you, please read 2nd Timothy 2:25, “In meekness instructing those that oppose themselves; if God peradventure will give them repentance to the acknowledging of the truth; And that they may recover themselves out of the snare of the devil, who are taken captive by him at his will.” Again, we see here that repentance for salvation is NOT from sinning, but to acknowledge THE TRUTH — “repentance to the acknowledging of the truth...” Pastor Harry A. Ironside gets repentance 100% correct:

“It is the confession that one is utterly without merit, and if he is ever saved at all it can only be through the merits of our Lord Jesus Christ, 'who gave himself a ransom for all.' Here is firm footing for the soul who realizes that all self-effort is but sinking sand. Christ alone is the Rock of our salvation.” ~Pastor Harry A. Ironside; “Except Ye Repent,” p. 36)

Clearly, Dr. Ironside taught a free grace view of the Gospel. Pastor Ironside correctly recognized repentance as the confession that “one is utterly without merit” and that if one is “ever saved at all it can only be through the merits of our Lord Jesus Christ.” Salvation is without works of self-righteousness. Romans 4:5 plainly teaches that a man's faith is COUNTED for righteousness, i.e., the righteousness of Jesus Christ is imputed to one's heavenly record by faith. Salvation is not doing your best, it is having Christ's best put to your account through receiving Him by faith.

Pastor Ironside further eloquently states:

“Repentance is the recognition of my sinnership — the owning before God that I am as vile as He has declared me to be in His holy Word.” ~Pastor Harry A. Ironside; “Except Ye Repent,” chapter 3)

And also this helpful quote on Bible repentance from Pastor Ironside:

“The Gospel is not a call to repentance, or to amendment of our ways, to make restitution for past sins, or to promise to do better in the future. These things are proper in their place, but they do not constitute the Gospel; for the Gospel is not good advice to be obeyed, it is good news to be believed. Do not make the mistake then of thinking that the Gospel is a call to duty or a call to reformation, a call to better your condition, to behave yourself in a more perfect way than you have been doing in the past …

Nor is the Gospel a demand that you give up the world, that you give up your sins, that you break off bad habits, and try to cultivate good ones. You may do all these things, and yet never believe the Gospel and consequently never be saved at all.” ~Pastor Harry A. Ironside, from the sermon: “What Is The Gospel?”

I really love Pastor Ironside. A young 12 year old Harry Ironside heard Pastor Dwight L. Moody (1837-1899) preach in Los Angeles. Two years later Harry fell under Holy Spirit conviction and got saved at age 14. The church building was so packed that there was no more room to enter. So a teenaged lad named Harry Ironside climbed up along the ceiling rafters, and listened intently while looking down upon the meeting. Harry didn't repent to turn away from his sinful ways and commit his life to serve Christ to be saved; but rather, he repented (i.e., changed his mind) unto the Gospel itself, turning from unbelief to belief.

If repentance means “to turn away from your sinful ways,” then that means you must start keeping the law (no more stealing, no more adultery, no more dishonoring your parents, no more covetousness, et cetera - Exodus 20:1-17). What saith the Scripture? Romans 3:19-20, “Now we know that what things soever the law saith, it saith to them who are under the law: that every mouth may be stopped, and all the world may become guilty before God. Therefore by the deeds of the law there shall no flesh be justified in his sight: for by the law is the knowledge of sin.” The primary purpose of God's Old Testament law is to show mankind that WE ARE SINNERS — “for by the law is the knowledge of sin.”

Thus, God NEVER intended that someone should be required to try to keep the law (i.e., turn away from their sins) to be saved. The very suggestion is wickedness and a false gospel. If to “repent” means to forsake our sinful ways TO BE SAVED, but Jesus already paid for our sins by dying on the cross, then what are we repenting from? Salvation is not a reward for the righteous, it is a gift for the guilty! Turning away from sinful ways would be a work. Faith puts all of the merit where it belongs, on the object of our faith, Jesus and His work.

The true Gospel always points you to CHRIST; a false gospel always points to YOU.

We must stay true to the simplicity of the gospel!! Repentance regarding salvation is a change of mind from unbelief to belief!!! We must earnestly contend for the faith (Jude 1:3).

What About The Repentance Of John The Baptist? 

David Cloud tries to uses John's repentance as evidence that we must turn from sins to be saved today. I would like now to quote Dr. John R. Rice, who perfectly explains the Baptism of John, showing that is was no different than BELIEIVNG on Jesus Christ to be saved, by faith alone:

There are those hyper-dispensationalists who think that John the Baptist preached a different Gospel from Christ when he commanded repentance (Matt. 3:2). But it is the same repentance Jesus commanded in Matthew 4:17, in Luke 13:3 and 5, and the same repentance that Paul preached in Athens that God “now commandeth all men every where to repent” (Acts 17:30 31). Repentance is not a different plan of salvation from having faith: it is part of the same plan of salvation. Or rather repentance is simply another way of describing or looking at the plan of salvation. One who turns from sin to God has done so by trusting in Jesus Christ. A change of mind toward sin is necessarily involved in saving faith.

Everyone who genuinely repented under the preaching of John the Baptist put his trust in the Saviour John the Baptist preached, and was regenerated. There is no such thing as being “a disciple of John the Baptist” in any honest sense without being a disciple of Jesus, that is, without trusting Christ for salvation. [emphasis added]

Oh dear friend, that is so beautiful. Please don't miss it! I have heard Missionary David W. Cloud and other false teachers, attempt to portray Dr. Rice as a proponent of Lordship Salvation, saying he taught that people must turn away from a lifestyle of sin to be saved. David Cloud even goes as far as to wickedly pitch Dr. John R. Rice (1895-1980) against his successor Pastor Curtis Hutson (1934-1995). I explain this issue in the preceding article link. Mr. Cloud claims that Curtis Hutson leaves off repentance, thus corrupting the Gospel. Nothing could be further from the truth.

So we see that Dr. Rice is correct, the man who trusts in Christ HAS also repented. It is unfortunate that Dr. Rice chose to use unbiblical terminology, because the Bible NEVER says: “turn from sins” to be saved anywhere! No doubt Brother Rice heard other preachers using that junk theology and he adopted it, which is a major problem among nearly all preachers. Please remember, Dr. Rice is not our final authority, the inspired Word of God is!

Beware Of False Prophet David Cloud's Counterfeit Gospel

In the following quote from David Cloud, you will see how he subtly wrests THE TRUTH of God's Word into a lie, teaching that to be saved your life must change (sadly, this is the demonic garbage that is preached by Campus Church at Pensacola Christian College today):

Repentance is not a change of life. Repentance a change of mind about God and sin that results in a change of life. Many who “believe” or “pray the sinner’s prayer” have no intention to change or to allow God to take control of their lives. They are not interested in being a disciple of Christ. They want a ticket to heaven that keeps them out of hell, but they want to continue to live as they please. They want to “believe in Jesus,” but they have no interest in obeying Him. That is not biblical salvation. The sinner must be ready to turn from his false gods, including self-worship, in order to worship and serve the true God (“ye turned to God from idols,” 1 Thessalonians 1:9). ~Evangelist David Cloud, “Repentance In Evangelism”

David Cloud is a LIAR!!! According to the preceding quote by Pastor Cloud, you cannot be saved unless you:

1. have intent to change your life
2. have intent to become a disciple of Christ
3. allow God to take control of your life
4. have intent to stop living in sin
5. have intent to obey Jesus

NONE OF THAT is Biblical! Dear reader, I triple dog dare you to go back and read our text passage of Scripture from 1st Corinthians 15:1-4, and see if any of the things which Mr. Cloud requires for salvation are mentioned in Paul's Gospel. They are not! That means David Cloud is a liar, an infidel and a false prophet! What saith the Scripture? Proverbs 30:5-6, “Every word of God is pure: he is a shield unto them that put their trust in him. Add thou not unto his words, lest he reprove thee, and thou be found a liar.” David Cloud is a liar for adding words to God's Word.

Pastor Cloud in the article I have shared with you claims that Jesus, Paul and Peter all preached repentance. But THE TRUTH is that David Cloud is taking the words of all those men out of context. Nowhere in the Gospel of John does Jesus tell anyone to repent to be saved. What saith the Scripture? Matthew 21:32, “For John came unto you in the way of righteousness, and ye believed him not: but the publicans and the harlots believed him: and ye, when ye had seen it, repented not afterward, that ye might believe him.” Do you see that repentance leads to BELIEVING the Gospel? Jesus is rebuking the self-righteous Pharisees here. Jesus said the Pharisees didn't repent (change their mind) to believe when they heard John's preaching, but THE ADMITTED SINNERS DID!!! Carefully notice that Jesus said the harlots and tax cheats repented to BELIEVE. The Bible never says they turned away from their sinful ways.

David Cloud falsely claims in his horrible article that no believer in the New Testament didn't change:

First, we have plenty of examples of believer's who lived in horrible sin (Demas, Ananias and Sapphira, Peter, the harlots and publicans, the saved man and his girlfriend in 1st Corinthians 5:1-5, the saved man who received no rewards in 1st Corinthians 3:15, Mary Magdalene, et cetera). 

Second, just because saints changed later on as a result of God's indwelling Holy Spirit sanctifying them (John 17:17), has absolutely NOTHING to do with the free gift of getting saved! David Cloud is foolishly front-loading the Gospel, making demands of lost sinners that only a mature believer would posses. Consequently, many people aren't getting saved because they think God requires them to forsake sinful bad habits to be saved, and that blood is all upon David Cloud's incompetent and wicked hands!!!

Pilgrim's Progress author John Bunyan said it best, I humbly think:

“If you do not put a difference between justification wrought by the man Christ without and sanctification wrought by the Spirit of Christ within, you are not able to divide the Word aright; but contrariwise, you corrupt the Word of God, and cast stumbling blocks before the people.” —John Bunyan (1628-1688)

David Cloud is guilty of corrupting the inspired Word of God, casting stumbling blocks before the people, damning their souls to an eternity in the Lake of Fire with his false gospel. Satan's greatest weapon is to con people into living the Christian life without ever being born-again.

Pastor Cloud is your typical confused and lying false teacher. In one breath he teaches that salvation is a gift, but in the next breath he insists that it will cost you your sins and your life. It simply cannot be both dear friend. Romans 11:6, “And if by grace, then is it no more of works: otherwise grace is no more grace. But if it be of works, then is it no more grace: otherwise work is no more work.” David Cloud is caught between grace and works, hellbound in his sincere misunderstanding of the light of the truth of the Gospel.

At the end of his article on repentance, Pastor Cloud writes this heresy:

“Many gospel tracts don’t contain a hint of repentance. This is not scriptural soul winning. If Christ and the apostles preached repentance, then we must preach repentance! We need to explain that the individual must be ready to surrender to God, and not give him the false impression that it is possible to be saved without this.” ~Evangelist David Cloud, “Repentance In Evangelism”

Well, neither does the Gospel of John contain a hint of repentance. Although we find the word “believe” mentioned 88 times in John, not once do we find any mention of repenting, confessing, turning, surrendering or following to be saved; just BELIEVE ON JESUS!!! John 6:47, “Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me hath everlasting life.”

What David Cloud has done is cherry-pick the Scriptures, citing obscure passages of Scripture to bolster his strawman heresy of repentance from sins to be saved, which the Bible does not teach. A good rule to follow when interpreting the Bible is to never use an obscure passage to contradict a clear one. God authored the entire Gospel of John to show the reader how to get to Heaven (John 20:31). Yet, every proponent of Lordship Salvation, like David Cloud, must quote randomly from obscure passages of Scripture in order to find support for their false teachings. This is called wresting (twisting) the Scriptures:

2nd Peter 3:16-17, “As also in all his epistles, speaking in them of these things; in which are some things hard to be understood, which they that are unlearned and unstable wrest, as they do also the other scriptures, unto their own destruction. Ye therefore, beloved, seeing ye know these things before, beware lest ye also, being led away with the error of the wicked, fall from your own stedfastness.”

I am saddened that most clergy (missionaries, evangelists, pastors) and their congregations have succumbed to a false plan of salvation. Jesus plainly warned in John 3:3b, “Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.” The perversion of God's grace called “Lordship Salvation” does not produce the new birth, because it is centered in YOU giving up your sins, surrendering “all” to Christ, and to follow Him in obedience as the “Lord” (Master) of your life. These are all rooted in self-righteousness (Adam's fig leaves and Cain's grain offering), and not the finished redemptive work of Jesus Christ through the cross of Calvary. The true Gospel always points you to CHRIST; a false gospel always points to YOU.

David Cloud is a skeptic. He preaches another gospel that cannot save a sinner. Pastor Dwight Moody had it right, all we can do is tell THE TRUTH:

“Skeptics and infidels may say they don't believe in it. It is not our work to make them believe in it; that is the work of the Spirit. Our work is to give them the Word of God.” —Pastor Dwight L. Moody (1837-1899)

One of my favorite free grace preachers today in 2022 is Pastor Ralph “Yankee” Arnold:

“If you have to look at your life to prove that you are saved, it proves that you're not!” —Pastor Ralph Yankee Arnold; an excellent quote from the awesome YouTube sermon titled, “Why Lordship Salvation is WRONG! | MP3”

Amen! A changed life cannot be used as evidence of salvation, because the Devil's crowd cannot imitate it. Can a child of the Devil live a changed life? Yes, of course. There is only one thing that a child of the Devil cannot imitate, and that is being indwelt by God's Holy Spirit. 1st John 3:24, “And he that keepeth his commandments dwelleth in him, and he in him. And hereby we know that he abideth in us, by the Spirit which he hath given us.” That is what the Epistle of 1st John is all about. Many Bible students focus on the wrong thing, and end up misinterpreting the Epistle of 1st John.

Lordship Salvation is Calvinism repackaged; it is a deadly perversion of God's grace that teaches faith alone is insufficient to get to Heaven; but in addition, Lordship Salvation requires that you turn away from your sinful ways, surrender "all" to Christ to obey Him from now on, give control of your life over to God, and to follow Jesus as "Lord" (Master) of your life no matter what the cost. The true Gospel always points you to CHRIST; a false gospel always points to YOU.

Salvation Is A Free Gift That You Take, Giving Nothing In Exchange

Sadly, over 90% of preachers today have succumbed to the Devil's fraud of Calvinism, which is based in self-righteousness. It is a false gospel of partial faith in Christ plus works. I am amazed how many preachers utterly fail to recognize that Calvinism (aka, Lordship Salvation) requires a person to keep the Mosaic law to be saved. Everyone is familiar with God's Ten Commandments (i.e., Thou shalt not murder, Thou shalt not commit adultery, Thou shalt not covet, Thou shalt not take the name of the Lord in vain, Thou shalt not steal, et cetera). So what do you think it means if you tell a lost sinner to “turn away from your sins” to be saved? You are essentially requiring them to stop breaking God's Ten Commandments to get to Heaven, which is self-righteousness!

The Lordship Salvation camp are so woefully ignorant of the Bible, that when you tell them the truth I just shared with you, they will say retarded things like: “Oh, so you think a person can keep committing murder, committing adultery, and stealing and still go to Heaven?” Do you see their fatal error? They are doing exactly what John Bunyan warned against:

“If you do not put a difference between justification wrought by the man Christ without and sanctification wrought by the Spirit of Christ within, you are not able to divide the Word aright; but contrariwise, you corrupt the Word of God, and cast stumbling blocks before the people.” —John Bunyan (1628-1688)

Getting saved is strictly a legal matter of you coming to God as a guilty sinner, and God the Father pardoning your sins solely on the basis of your trust in the Good News (Gospel) of Christ's death, burial and resurrection. When David Cloud speaks of salvation being “a gift,” he speaks with a forked-tongue. In one breath Mr. Cloud speaks the truth that eternal life is a gift from God, but in the next breath he says that YOU must:

1. have intent to change your life
2. have intent to become a disciple of Christ
3. allow God to take control of your life
4. have intent to stop living in sin
5. have intent to obey Jesus

How is any of that “a gift” dear friend? What if (let's say as your parent) I bought you a birthday present, but before I handed it to you I first required that you intend to keep your room clean for the rest of the year, and intend to take a bath every day from now on, and promise to obey your Mom and Dad in every way, and commit not to disobey or doing wrong anymore? Well, first of all, you would know that your so-called “birthday gift” is no gift at all, but instead a reward. Secondly, you would feel overwhelmed by all those requirements. It would ruin your birthday and you know it!!! It sure would mine! And thirdly, if you did accept that false gift, you would feel bad, thinking of all the requirements which I had imposed upon you.

Kindly said, this is David Cloud's insane plan of damnation!!! The man is utterly confused, not having enough spiritual discernment to put a difference between justification (getting saved by faith alone), versus sanctification (the believer's growing in grace). I think Pastor M.R. DeHaan said it very well:

"There is a vast difference between coming to Jesus for salvation and coming after Jesus for service. Coming to Christ makes one a believer, while coming after Christ makes one a disciple. All believers are not disciples. To become a believer one accepts the invitation of the Gospel, to be a disciple one obeys the challenge to a life of dedicated service and separation. Salvation comes through the sacrifice of Christ; discipleship comes only by sacrifice of self and surrender to His call for devoted service. Salvation is free, but discipleship involves paying the price of a separated walk. Salvation can't be lost because it depends upon God's faithfulness, but discipleship can be lost because it depends upon our faithfulness." ~M.R. DeHaan, “Hebrews”; Zondervan Publishing House, 1959 (p. 117).

And also, Pastor Zane Hodges said this helpful words:

"Eternal life is free. Discipleship is immeasurably hard. The former is attained by faith alone, the latter by a faith that works... the former brings with it the righteousness of God so that a man is 'justified freely by his grace' (Romans 3:24). The latter develops a personal righteousness, based on good deeds, so that a man was also 'justified by works' (James 2:24). The former constituted the believer God's workmanship, the latter fulfilled the wonderful purpose for which he had been created. The former cost man nothing, the latter could cost him everything, including life itself." ~Pastor Zane C. Hodges, “The Hungry Inherit”; Moody Press, Inc., 1972 (pp. 114, 115).

If we simply always keep getting born-again completely separate from sanctification of the believer, then we will never be led astray with the error of the wicked doctrinally. 

Eternal Life is a Free Gift!

Dear friend, if you are truly saved, that is, you are a born-again child of God, then you have the proper Biblical mindset that your salvation rests in nothing more than Jesus' righteousness, which is by faith alone (Philippians 3:9). You need HIS RIGHTEOUSNESS...

My hope is built on nothing less
Than Jesus Christ, my righteousness;
I dare not trust the sweetest frame,
But wholly lean on Jesus’ name.
On Christ, the solid Rock, I stand;
All other ground is sinking sand,
All other ground is sinking sand.

You have no righteousness to offer God dear friend, and neither do I, which is why the sinless Lamb of God came into the world and went to the cross to be crucified as a common criminal for our sins! Christ died for the ungodly, for heathens like you and me (Romans 5:6-9). You get saved by CEASING from all the garbage David Cloud is telling you to do, and then simple RESTING in Christ's death on the cross, burial and bodily resurrection the third day. That is the blessed GOOD NEWS by which we are saved, for all those who simply BELIEVE IT!

David Cloud originally never mentioned the word “gift” in his articles on repentance, until I started writing website articles to expose him, so he updated (“enlarged” as he calls it) his articles to include the word “gift.” What a religious conman! I hope this blog has opened your eyes dear reader, to see that David Cloud is a false teacher who is not saved. I do not rejoice in that, it saddens me. It saddens me that such a brilliant man, who so passionately believes in what he is preaching and doing in India, could be so horribly wrong in his doctrine on salvation. I know that David Cloud is not saved, because he has a wrong mindset regarding the Gospel. He has embellished God's simple plan of salvation, to require a bunch of things that God Himself does not even require. Mr. Cloud is sinfully leaning upon his own understanding, as Proverbs 3:5-7 warns us not to do. Salvation is of the Lord friend, not you!

To be saved, you simply get out of the way, and let God do the saving, all of it. I like what Pastor Jack Hyles said:

Redemption is a work of God the Son. Regeneration is the work of God the Holy Spirit. Justification is the work of God the Father as He declares the sinner righteous in the Son. Conversion then becomes the work of the church as we change the use and purpose of a life.

David Cloud is one of Dr. Hyles' worst enemies, slandering the man continually, falsely accusing him of leaving off repentance. In truth, listen for yourself to what Pastor Jack Hyles believes and taught about Bible repentance, in this helpful sermon titled: “The Goodness Of God leadeth To Repentance.” Dr. Hyles DID believe and teach repentance to be saved, he just didn't agree with the false teaching of David Cloud and others, who pervert repentance to mean something ugly and difficult which God didn't intend. Bible repentance is simply a change of mind, nothing less or more. Repentance is not a separate step from believing to be saved, they are one and the same event. So that the man who BELIEVES has repented. That is, he has changed his mind from unbelief to belief. This is why the word “repent” is never mentioned in the Gospel of John. Anyone who teaches that you must repent of your sins, in addition to trusting Christ as your Savior, is preaching another Gospel.

David Cloud insists that what I am preaching is unbiblical. Cloud says that Jesus, Paul and Peter all preached repentance from sins to be saved, but that is not true at all. Paul and Silas where asked by the Roman jailor: “Sirs, what must I do to be saved?” (Acts 16:30b). Here was their simple answer. Acts 16:31, “And they said, Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved, and thy house.” If repenting from sins were such a big factor in getting saved, as David Clouds claims that it is, then why didn't Paul or Silas tell the man to turn away from his sinning?

Furthermore, why didn't Paul mention repentance in 1st Corinthians 15:1-4 when he defined “the Gospel,” by which WE ARE SAVED Paul said? Clearly, repentance is automatic and is included with BELIEVING the Gospel. Repentance is simply thinking differently than before, so that you will BELIEVE ON THE LORD JESUS CHRIST to be saved. Preachers have been debating and fighting over the meaning of repentance and God's plan of salvation for millenniums, but that doesn't mean that they're all correct!

Both Sides May Be, But One Must Be, Wrong!

I once watched a very interesting 12 hour documentary by historian film producer, Ken Burns, on The American Civil War. It is heartbreaking history! I just heard a quote in the film by President Abraham Lincoln (1809-1865) that caught my attention:

“In great contests [battles], each party claims to act in accordance with the will of God—both may be, but one must be, wrong—God cannot be for and against the same thing at the same time!” —President Abraham Lincoln

Why did Mr. Lincoln say that? It is because both the Northern Union and the Southern Confederacy claimed to be doing “God's will” in fighting The Civil War (1860-1965). Both President Jefferson Davis in the south, and President Abraham Lincoln in the north, said they were doing “God's will.” As Mr. Lincoln wisely points out, that is IMPOSSIBLE! When two opposing parties, who are warring against each other, claiming to be doing God's will, obviously someone is WRONG! That is why Abraham Lincoln made that powerful statement!

Either I am preaching THE TRUTH, and David Cloud is on his way to Hell in his sins; or else David Cloud is correct, and I am damned to Hell in my false understanding of the Gospel. But we assuredly cannot BOTH be correct! Either you can simply come as a guilty sinner and REST in the finished work of Christ, which is what I simply believe and teach; or else you must do as David Cloud preaches:

1. have intent to change your life
2. have intent to become a disciple of Christ
3. allow God to take control of your life
4. have intent to stop living in sin
5. have intent to obey Jesus

And only after you've done all that on the list, then put your faith in Christ. Does the latter sound like what Paul wrote in 1st Corinthians 15:1-4? No, not even in the ballpark? Does what David Cloud teach match up with the Gospel of John? No, not on your life. Does what David Cloud teach match the words of Paul and Silas in Acts 16:30-31? Nope, not even close. You dear reader must make the final decisions. I have shown you the inspired Words of God, not my mere human opinions. SEARCH THE SCRIPTURES (John 5:39a).
