Proverbs 8:13, “The fear of the LORD is to hate evil: pride, and arrogancy, and the evil way, and the froward mouth, do I hate.” Psalms 36:1, “The transgression of the wicked saith within my heart, that there is no fear of God before his eyes.” Romans 3:18-20, “There is no fear of God before their eyes. Now we know that what things soever the law saith, it saith to them who are under the law: that every mouth may be stopped, and all the world may become guilty before God. Therefore by the deeds of the law there shall no flesh be justified in his sight: for by the law is the knowledge of sin.”
The reason why we see churches being bombed by wicked people is simply because they don't fear God. The reason why abortion has been legalized in America since 1972 is because the U.S. Supreme Court doesn't fear God. They don't hate evil. The reason why ungodly courts all across America—sinfully grant divorces, prosecute innocent people by forcing 90% of them to accept plea agreements for fear of going to trial by an incompetent jury of humans (see the insanely mishandled case of Casey Anthony), delay court cases for years while greedy judges and lawyers bilk people of all their wealth, and impose unfair insanely long prison sentences upon people—is simply because our courts don't fear God. What we call “justice” in this stupid country is anything but justice. It is more like JUST-US! 911 has never been prosecuted. The Oklahoma City Bombing in 1995 has never been prosecuted. The U.S. Justice Department is a sad joke! Corruption wreaks at the very core of our rotting Republic!
The whole concept of prisons (locking up human beings in cages) is deplorable, unbiblical and heathen. In the Bible when a crime was committed you either paid a fine, were beaten with a whip in public, or were executed. The Bible requires an eye for an eye and a tooth for a tooth. So the only time a person should be locked in a cage is if you locked somebody up in a cage! It is cruel torture to lock either a human or animal in a cage for any amount of time!!! During the Millennium when Christ reigns as King of kings from the throne of David in Jerusalem, there won't be any prisons I assure you. I know that because I have the mind of Christ as a born-again believer (1st Corinthians 2:16). Proverbs 14:34, “Righteousness exalteth a nation: but sin is a reproach to any people.”
In January of 2021, someone did the unthinkable! They bombed the First Works Baptist Church in California. Here is some news from the San Gabriel Valley Tribune which was published last March:
FBI investigators described the man in the video as between 5 feet and 8 inches and 6 feet and 1 inch tall, weighing approximately 170 to 180 pounds. The woman was described as between 5 feet and 3 inches and 5 feet and 5 inches tall, weighing approximately 125 to 135 pounds.
On the morning of the blast on Jan 23, around 1 a.m., El Monte police arrived at the church on 2600 Tyler Avenue to find the windows blown out and profanities painted on the church’s front walls. The interior of the church was significantly damaged. No one was injured in the explosion.
Bomb technicians with the FBI and Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department recovered a piece of the explosive device at the church. The FBI has described the bomb as “an IED,” or a homemade or “improvised” explosive device. Due to unsafe conditions, city officials red tagged the church building, which remained closed as of this week, said El Monte Police Chief David Reynoso. Congregants have been meeting at other locations for church services, according to livestreams of the services posted to the church’s YouTube page.
Before the bombing, the church’s leader, Pastor Bruce Mejia faced intense scrutiny over sermons that called for executions of gay and lesbian people. First Works Baptist church has been listed on the Southern Poverty Law Center’s lists of anti-LGBTQ groups.
El Monte residents decried Mejia’s teachings at City Council meetings and during protests at the church, describing the rhetoric as “homophobic, transphobic, and misogynistic.” An online petition calling for the removal of the church from the city has gathered more than 15,800 signatures. “Mejia twists God’s word and actively discriminates against the LGBTQIA+ community,” the petition said. “We need to let Bruce Mejia and his following know that they are not welcomed.” SOURCE
Our nation is in trouble! I want to reiterate the last couple paragraphs from what I just shared with you, because it is so very important:
Before the bombing, the church’s leader, Pastor Bruce Mejia faced intense scrutiny over sermons that called for executions of gay and lesbian people. First Works Baptist church has been listed on the Southern Poverty Law Center’s lists of anti-LGBTQ groups.El Monte residents decried Mejia’s teachings at City Council meetings and during protests at the church, describing the rhetoric as “homophobic, transphobic, and misogynistic.” An online petition calling for the removal of the church from the city has gathered more than 15,800 signatures. “Mejia twists God’s word and actively discriminates against the LGBTQIA+ community,” the petition said. “We need to let Bruce Mejia and his following know that they are not welcomed.” SOURCE
Dear reader, there is no shame or stigma in being so-called “homophobic.” I readily admit that I am 100% HOMOPHOBIC!!! I get freaked out around homosexuals. I do not call them gay, because that is a good word which used to mean being happy. Nor do I recognize God's rainbow as a homosexual symbol. Every rainbow is created by God as a reminder to mankind that He keeps His promises, particularly His promise in Genesis after Noah's flood to never destroy the earth by water again. Next time it will be by fire...lol (2nd Peter 3:10).
Proverbs 1:29, “For that they hated knowledge, and did not choose the fear of the LORD: They would none of my counsel: they despised all my reproof.”Proverbs 1:7, “The fear of the LORD is the beginning of knowledge: but fools despise wisdom and instruction.”Psalms 97:10, “Ye that love the LORD, hate evil: he preserveth the souls of his saints; he delivereth them out of the hand of the wicked.”
Proverbs 15:24, “The way of life is above to the wise, that he may depart from hell beneath.”
The problem in our society today is that Americans no longer fear God. Carefully notice in the following Bible verse that the wicked CHOOSE not to fear God. Proverbs 1:29, “For that they hated knowledge, and did not choose the fear of the LORD: They would none of my counsel: they despised all my reproof.” Fearing God is a personal choice that we all have to make. I fear God, because I believe He exists and there is a penalty for not obeying Him. Ecclesiastes 12:13-14, “Let us hear the conclusion of the whole matter: Fear God, and keep his commandments: for this is the whole duty of man. For God shall bring every work into judgment, with every secret thing, whether it be good, or whether it be evil.” I don't know about you dear reader, but I CHOOSE TO FEAR GOD AND KEEP HIS COMMANDMENTS!!! I am not perfect, but I want to be someday. No one will ever be able to be perfect until God takes away this mortal flesh and gives us a new immortal body.
One of my favorite sermons by Pastor Jack Hyles is called: "You Don't Have To Be Perfect." God doesn't expect us to grow up, He just wants us to GROW! The fear of God literally means to be afraid of what will happen if we rebel against our Creator and Savior. Even for believers, the Bible warns in 2nd Corinthians 5:11, “Knowing therefore the terror of the Lord, we persuade men; but we are made manifest unto God; and I trust also are made manifest in your consciences.” There is no condemnation to those who are in Christ (Romans 8:1; John 3:18). But we still must give account for the good and the bad done in the body (2nd Corinthians 5:10). No believer will ever have to face The Great White Throne Of Judgment (Revelation 20:11-15), which will be as criminal court for our sins; but we must still be judged at The Judgment Seat Of Christ (2nd Corinthians 5:9-11), which will be as a civil court.
