Beware Of Bob Jones University's Counterfeit Gospel

Acts 15:1 and 24, “And certain men which came down from Judaea taught the brethren, and said, Except ye be circumcised after the manner of Moses, ye cannot be saved. ...Forasmuch as we have heard, that certain which went out from us have troubled you with words, subverting your souls, saying, Ye must be circumcised, and keep the law: to whom we gave no such commandment:” Galatians 1:6-9, “I marvel that ye are so soon removed from him that called you into the grace of Christ unto another gospel: Which is not another; but there be some that trouble you, and would pervert the gospel of Christ. But though we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel unto you than that which we have preached unto you, let him be accursed. As we said before, so say I now again, If any man preach any other gospel unto you than that ye have received, let him be accursed.”

The Apostle Paul emphasizes 'THE GRACE OF CHRIST' into which we are called for salvation. Paul rebukes the churches of Galatia for allowing a group of false teachers to come into their midst and corrupt them with ANOTHER GOSPEL, which Paul confirms is actually not another gospel, but a perversion of the truth! Salvation has and always will be BY GRACE ALONE!!! This wicked religious group that had infiltrated these naïve churches, ADDED keeping the law to grace alone for salvation. They taught that faith in Jesus wasn't enough to be saved; but also, you must repent of your sinning (i.e., attempt to keep the law). This is NOT the Good News (Gospel) which the Apostle Paul taught the churches (1st Corinthians 15:1-4).

Tragically, Bob Jones University in Greenville, South Carolina, has succumbed to this damnable heresy, which appears in many forms today, which are forms of CALVINISM!!! John Calvin (1509-1564) was an unsaved infidel who taught that faith wasn't enough to get to Heaven; but in addition, a saint MUST live a sanctified life, turn away from sin, persevere to obey the Ten Commandments, and serve God or else it proves that their faith was never genuine and they were never saved at all. This is the Devil's clever way of adding WORKS to FAITH for salvation, which the Bible says is impossible (Romans 11:6).

Conversion

I believe that man is converted when he responds with repentance and faith in the

Gospel message (Mark 1:15). Both repentance and faith are necessary components of conversion (Luke 13:3-5; John 3:16; Acts 17:30; Eph. 2:8). Repentance consists of a change of mind and heart that deliberately turns from sin to embrace Jesus Christ (2 Cor. 7:10), while believing faith consists of (1) knowing the right facts about the Gospel (1 Cor. 15:3-4; 1 John 5:1), (2) believing these facts to be true (1 Pet. 1:8), and (3) fully relying on Christ as the object of our faith (John 1:12; 14:6; 17:3). The preceding Statement of Faith is subtle. BJU's Statement of Faith is a bit more brash. Lest you don't see the problem yet, please read what BJU's incompetent president since 2014, Dr. Steve Pettit, heretically teaches about what you must do to get to Heaven. Dear reader, most of this cannot be substantiated with the inspired King James Bible. Not one Scripture in God's Word tells us to repent “of your sin” to be saved. Not one Scripture tells you to “faithfully run the race until the end” to be saved. Not one Scripture teaches for anyone to “deliberately turn away from sin” to be saved. Wicked false prophets have ADDED  these commandments of men to God's Word. Proverbs 30;5-6, “Every word of God is pure: he is a shield unto them that put their trust in him. Add thou not unto his words, lest he reprove thee, and thou be found a liar.”

Kindly said, Brett Stowe is a false prophet! He is not a born-again Christian. No one who thinks that more than faith is required to get to Heaven is saved. The shameful Bob Jones crowd require more than faith. They have taken a small handful of obscure passages of Scripture and started a false religion based upon them. Meanwhile, they completely ignore clear passages of Scripture (like the Gospel of John and the Epistle of Galatians) that disprove their Calvinist based false repentance and Lordship salvation heresies. 

Dear friend, in the wonderful Gospel of John we find the word “believe” mentioned 88 times, but the word “repent” is never mentioned even once, NOT ONCE!!! This speaks volumes about what is required to get to Heaven. The Gospel of John is God's Gospel tract. John 20:31, “But these are written, that ye might believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God; and that believing ye might have life through his name.” Nothing is said of repentance, let along of turning away from sin. Not one verse in the inspired and infallible King James Bible teaches that a person must repent and turn away from their sin to be saved. The Greek noun for the word “repent” (metanoia) concerning salvation simply means “a change of mind.” Yet woefully ignorant preachers, in their pride and arrogance, take it upon themselves to embellish and add to the Bible meaning of repentance, and in so doing preach another gospel.

God intentionally used the word metanoia because it is an open-ended, all-inclusive word. In other words, the only thing you need to change your mind about is whatever has been keeping you from doing the one thing that you need to do to be saved, which is to BELIEVE. Since you don't have to stop committing sin to BELIEVE, you don't need to turn away from a lifestyle of sinning to be saved.

What saith the Scripture? John 3:20-21, “For every one that doeth evil hateth the light, neither cometh to the light, lest his deeds should be reproved. But he that doeth truth cometh to the light, that his deeds may be made manifest, that they are wrought in God.” In the preceding passage we see that a love for sin hinders a person from coming to the light of the truth of the Gospel to be saved. But notice that the remedy in Verse 21 is not to turn away from those sins; but rather, HE THAT DOETH THE TRUTH!!! Repentance is a matter of acknowledging THE TRUTH that you are a guilty sinner, so seeing your need for salvation you will put your faith in Jesus Christ to be saved.

I can prove that with 2nd Timothy 2:25-26, “In meekness instructing those that oppose themselves; if God peradventure will give them repentance to the acknowledging of the truth; And that they may recover themselves out of the snare of the devil, who are taken captive by him at his will.” Again, we see that Bible repentance is not FROM SIN, but TO THE ACKNOWLEDGMENT OF THE TRUTH. You get saved by admitting you are a dirty guilty sinner in God's sight, and BELIEVING the Good News of Christ crucified on a cross, buried and bodily risen from the dead three days later (1st Corinthians 15:1-6).

I hope you see clearly that giving up your willful sinning is not part of God's simple plan of salvation. Now some fool will go away claiming that I'm teaching it is okay to continue in sin as a believer. Listen, EVERYONE continues in sin after they get saved. EVERYONE!!! The only difference is that some saints sin more or less than others. But you say, “Well if you're saved you'll feel convicted and bad about your sin.” Really? The Bible says that Judas, one of Christ's very apostles, felt convicted about his sin of betraying Jesus. In fact, the Bible says in Matthew 27:3b that Judas “repented himself.” Judas was a reformed man, he had turned from his sin. Yet Judas died in his sins and went to Hell forever! Jesus said in John 6:70 that Judas had a devil in him!!! Judas returned the 30 pieces of silver (that is penance, trying to right your wrongs). Judas felt remorse (which is penitence). But Judas did not BELIEVE on the Lord Jesus Christ, which is the only way to be saved (Acts 16:30-31).

Kindly said, Bob Jones University (BJU) is a religious cult today! They are part of the Alexandrian cult for promoting corruptible seed (i.e., Devil's bibles); and BJU is part of the damnable Dr. John MacArthur "Lordship" Salvation cult. Pastor Chuck Phelps is an infidel of the faith and has no business preaching behind any pulpit. That also goes for reprobates like Marty Herron, Steve Pettit, Gary Walton and company. It utterly sickens me to see Pensacola Christian College (PCC) in Florida, bidding Godspeed to the Satanic Bob Jones cult today. PCC is friends with the Satanic Harvest Baptist Church on Guam, a dangerous cult, which is a repository of corrupt Bob Jones College alumni. Folks, right doctrine matters! I believe that God inspired the original autographs only. Because of this, I believe that we should strive to translate the Scriptures as close to the original autographs as possible. I do not believe that God inspired translations of the Scriptures beyond the original manuscripts, nor do I believe that this inspiration is limited to one specific Bible or text-type. [emphasis added] SOURCE

Sadly, this man is a darn fool. Stowe is proclaiming the official BJU position on the Bible, that we DON'T have a perfect, inerrant, infallible, inspired Holy Bible today. Notice that he wickedly says that “WE” should strive to translate the Scriptures. Well, that means unless you are a Hebrew, Chaldean and Greek scholar, you're screwed!!! Furthermore, we don't have any original manuscripts available today, only copies of copies of copies. Do you see the Devil's hand in all of this, because I sure do!!! Have you believed a lie? BJU has!!!

And worse, there are umpteen ancient texts to choose from, so how do we know which one's are reliable and not tampered with by man? It is the same old foolishness that skeptics and naysayers have been telling the world for centuries, that the omnipotent great God of the universe was too impotent and weak to keep His promise in Psalms 12:6-7 to keep and preserve His very pure Word until all generations and forever!!! This is why ALL of the Devil's modern Bible revisions have completely eviscerated Psalms 12:7, sinfully changing it to say that God protects the saints instead of His pure Word.

Dear reader, we DO have God's infallible, inerrant, incorruptible, pure, holy, preserved and inspired very pure Words today in the KING JAMES BIBLE!!! If even one verse in the Bible is corrupt, than it could be any one of them, so how can we know what THE TRUTH is? Do you really believe that God can do anything, except give us a reliable Bible in 2022? 

Philippians 2:9-11, “Wherefore God also hath highly exalted him, and given him a name which is above every name: That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth; And that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.” Now read what David said in Psalms 138:2, “I will worship toward thy holy temple, and praise thy name for thy lovingkindness and for thy truth: for thou hast magnified thy word above all thy name.” The psalmist proclaimed that God magnifies His Word above His own holy name. Literally, there is something in this universe higher and greater than the name above every other, JESUS, which is the HOLY BIBLE!!! The reason why should be obvious to you—because just as a man's name is only as trustworthy as his word, so also is the same true for God. If even one word in the Bible could be corrupt, then we cannot trust God!!!

It blows my mind that any preacher could be so foolish, as to buy into the Devil's lie that we don't have a perfect, infallible, incorruptible, inspired Holy Bible today!!! It sickens me to hear ignorant preachers, Bible professors and missionaries like Brett Stowe, lying to people by telling them that we should study a dozen different Bible revisions to find THE TRUTH. Don't you fall for that lie of Satan! I was born-again at age 13 by the seed of the inspired King James Bible. That is the ONLY Bible I have ever used, read, memorized and studied from. I adamantly reject ALL of the Devil's corrupt modern Bible perversions, and so should you!!!

These new Bible revisions change the meaning of repent to say that you must forsake your sins to be saved. For example: Look at what the Easy-To-Read Version (ERV) does to corrupt Mark 1:15. You simply CANNOT TRUST any of the modern Bible revisions which are based upon the corrupt Greek text of Brooke Westcott and Fenton Hort. Please listen to Pastor Max D. Younce expose Westcott and Hort and the Devil's modern Bible revisions.

Please RUN away from anyone who is associated with Bob Jones University today. There are some strange things going on at BJU, inviting the world into their midst. I have personally been hurt numerous times by BJU graduates, especially by their self-righteous, judgmental, unforgiving and hateful pastors. Pastor Marty Herron (former incompetent pastor of the Harvest Baptist Church on Guam) has the blood of thousands of victims on his hands. Dr. Herron promotes the Devil's corruptible seed, he preaches another accursed gospel of Lordship Salvation, he is wrong on what Bible repentance means, he thinks Martin Luther with his lifelong teaching of Baptismal Regeneration went to Heaven, et cetera.

Kindly said, Marty Herron is theologically dangerous! So also is his incompetent successor at Harvest Baptist Church on Guam, Pastor Gary Walton—a wicked man who endorses BJU 100%, bidding Godspeed to evildoers—which makes him 100% complicit, partakers of their false gospel and fake Bibles, putting Walton in trouble with God (2nd John 1:11). Please mark and avoid these wicked false prophets crept in unawares into the churches (Romans 16:17-18). To God alone be the glory! Jesus is precious!!!
