1st John 1:9-10, “If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. If we say that we have not sinned, we make him a liar, and his word is not in us.”
Dear reader, God wants to forgive your sins more than you could ever possibly image. Micah 7:18, “Who is a God like unto thee, that pardoneth iniquity, and passeth by the transgression of the remnant of his heritage? he retaineth not his anger for ever, because he delighteth in mercy.” There are an estimated 4,400 religions in the world, none of which freely offers unconditional forgiveness as does Bible Christianity.
The Bible teaches that while we are confessing our sins, even before we actually ask God to forgive us, He just goes ahead and forgives us! That is how much God wants to forgive us! What a wonderful and merciful God Who loves to pardon our iniquities.
The very second that a lost sinner BELIEVES on the Lord Jesus Christ God works the supernatural miracle of the new birth. Romans 10:13 says, “For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved. How then shall they call on him in whom they have not believed? and how shall they believe in him of whom they have not heard? and how shall they hear without a preacher?” I love that! The Bible repeatedly teaches that we are saved the moment we believe. Yet many people feel compelled to pray and call upon the Lord to save them. The Bible wonderfully teaches that God saves us the moment we BELIEVE, even before we call upon the name of the Lord.
Dear friend, God desires for all men to be saved. 2nd Peter 3:9, “The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.” God does not desire for even the worst criminal to perish into prison. You read right! God didn't want Adolf Hitler to burn in Hell, but I believe that is exactly where he is forever. God never sends anybody to Hell who didn't choose to go there by wilfully rejecting His dear only begotten Son as their personal Savior.
Hitler was engrossed with Roman Catholicism, the biggest Satanic cult in the world. Catholics false trust in their Seven Sacraments and not wholly on Jesus' name. There is no salvation in the Roman Catholic religion. I just heard in the news yesterday that 200,000 children have been physically abused over the past 70 years by Catholic priests!!! Catholicism is a prisonhouse of religion and a cesspool of homosexual priests! Yet, God doesn't want those pervert priests to perish into Hell. Sadly, very few people ever find the true way of salvation, because they have been blinded by Satan (2nd Corinthians 4:3-4).
The only way to go to Heaven is to humble yourself to the dear Savior. A lot of rich people, and proud Jews, refuse to humble themselves to admit that a poor Jewish carpenter from Nazareth is the only way they can get to Heaven!!! But that is THE TRUTH. Jesus said in John 14:6, “Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.” It's either Jesus or you don't go to Heaven!
God wants to forgive you even before you ask Him. The truth is that you don't even need to ask God to forgive your sins. The reason why is because Jesus has already fully paid for your sins with His precious blood on the cross (1st Peter 1:18-19). Christ has already paid for everyone's sins! God is freely offering salvation to all humanity. All you need to do is by faith take God at His Word as recorded in the Bible concerning Jesus Christ. The Scriptures tells us that all men are guilty sinners in God's sight for breaking His commandments (James 2:10; Romans 3:10-23). There is a penalty (wages) for our sins, which is death (Romans 6:23). This includes the second death in Hell (Revelation 20:11-15; 21:8).
But God in His wondrous love made a way of escape by sending His only begotten Son into the world to die on the cross to pay for our sins (John 3:14-18). Jesus paid a debt He did not owe, because we owed a debt we could not pay. What a great Savior!!!
My hope is built on nothing less
Than Jesus Christ, my righteousness;

But wholly lean on Jesus’ name.
On Christ, the solid Rock, I stand;
All other ground is sinking sand,
All other ground is sinking sand.
If we simply confess our sins, God will beat us to it and forgive us even before we ask Him. This shows the great heart of our good God, Who desires to pardon all men by simple faith. It is a horrible sin and gross theological incompetence for any preacher to ADD or SUBTRACT from the finished redemptive work of Jesus Christ. Anything more or less than simple childlike faith in the Lord Jesus Christ—Who died on the cross for our sins, was buried and bodily resurrected from the dead three days later—cannot produce the new birth.
