America Will Never Be "Great" Again!

Isaiah 1:4-6 and 15-16, “Ah sinful nation, a people laden with iniquity, a seed of evildoers, children that are corrupters: they have forsaken the LORD, they have provoked the Holy One of Israel unto anger, they are gone away backward. Why should ye be stricken any more?  ye will revolt more and more: the whole head is sick, and the whole heart faint.  From the sole of the foot even unto the head there is no soundness in it; but wounds, and bruises, and putrifying sores: they have not been closed, neither bound up, neither mollified with ointment. ...And when ye spread forth your hands, I will hide mine eyes from you: yea, when ye make many prayers, I will not hear: your hands are full of blood. Wash you, make you clean; put away the evil of your doings from before mine eyes; cease to do evil;”

Our text passage applies directly to the nation of Israel in the Old Testament, but it indirectly apples to any wicked nation! The United States is far more wicked today than Israel ever was! As of June 2015 sodomites can legally get married. They can legally adopt children. I was saddened to learn yesterday, that the 21 year old son of singer Melissa Etheridge died this week of a drug overdose. Miss Etheridge came out public in 1993 that she a homosexual. I am not bashing her for her sins, I don't do that to anyone. I believe that the Bible teaches homosexuality is a sin (Leviticus 20:13; Romans 1:24-32; Jude 1:7). Adultery is a sin. Fornication is a sin. Public nudity is a sin. Filthy gestures is a sin (Colossians 3:5-6). These sins are prevalent in America today. It is shocking that nudity is so widely accepted in America! I tell you, our nation will never be great again until Americans get right with God!

In his State Of The Union speech in February of 2020, President Donald Trump boasted that he has “made America great again!” Vice President Mike Pence said the same thing! Dear reader, America is not great again!!! President Trump's first nominee to the U.S. Supreme Court, Justice Neil Gorsuch, recently ruled in favor of giving rights to 7,000,000 homosexuals in the workplace. So now if you hire a man, and he comes back from over the weekend as a woman, you cannot fire him. I think that is very wrong! God-fearing Christians and sin-loving people will never co-exist in harmony. Proverbs 29:27, “An unjust man is an abomination to the just: and he that is upright in the way is abomination to the wicked.” 

In a truthful excellent speech titled, “The Evangelical Church Is Helping To Create Another Nation Of Slaves,” Pastor Chuck Baldwin in Montana had this to say:

The story is told that soon after the adoption of our U.S. Constitution, a lady approached Benjamin Franklin and asked him, “Sir, what kind of government have you given us?” His reply: “A republic, Madam, if you can keep it.” 

Our founders had lived through the tyranny of a monarchy and had fought a long and bloody war for independence. Their foremost desire was to create a form of civil government that would protect the Natural liberties that they had fought so hard to procure. That form of government needed to have multiple layers of Liberty protections built into it. That form of government was a constitutional republic—“a nation of laws, not men.” (John Adams) 

Nothing made by man can ever be perfect, but the combined Declaration of Independence, U.S. Constitution and Bill of Rights form the most perfect set of founding civil documents in human history. 

Checks and balances protecting civil Liberty are engrained throughout the laws of this republic. From the checks and balances of competing branches of the federal government to the laws establishing “free and independent” states to the checks and balances of State and county governments to the independent authority of sheriffs, juries, the voting booth and, as a last resort, an armed civilian populace—each charged with the duty of protecting our Natural and civil rights—our liberties were as protected as any form of government could make them. 

But as our founders repeatedly warned, the protections of Liberty built into our constitutional republic depended on the honesty, integrity, commitment and courage of the citizenry to endure “the fatigue of supporting it [freedom].” (Thomas Paine) 

Hence, Franklin’s warning: “If you can keep it.”

Our nation's second U.S. president, John Adams spoke these very true words of warning to the American people:

“We have not government armed with power capable of contending with human passions unbridled by morality and religion. Our Constitution was made only for a moral and religious people. It is wholly inadequate to the government of any other.” —U.S. President John Adams (1735-1826)

Wow! I couldn't have said it better. We've got a bunch of crooks, thieves and dishonest people within the government today at every level. It is tragic what congress and the media are doing to continually tear down President Trump. I think that is very wrong to do! President Trump is our leader. I don't care how bad or wrong a leader may be, we should always show respect for the office, if not for the man himself. That is Biblical. Michael the archangel durst not slander the Devil, but said: “The Lord rebuke thee” (Jude 1:9b). That doesn't mean preachers ought not preach against evil, it simply means that we should always show respect for God-ordained authority, even when they are wrong. When President Barack Obama was in office, he was a wicked man, passing many wicked laws, and the churches were silent. Now we have a conservative president, Mr. Trump, who is passing many good laws, and I like him a lot, and the liberals are trying to destroy him.

The Bill Of Rights and U.S. Constitution only outline our God-given rights. If we disobey God, then we forfeit our right to liberty and freedom. Liberty is a gift from God, the privilege to make our own decisions. Freedom is the reward for making the right decisions. We have been making all the wrong decisions (banning the Holy Bible since 1963, legalizing abortion since 1973, legalizing pornography since the beginning of Hollywood, greedy business contracts written by ungodly attorneys, legalizing same-sex marriage since 2015, fornication, adultery, drug abuse, stealing, bearing false witness, covetousness, et cetera). These sins bring the judgment of God (Romans 1:32; Colossians 3:6). God is now removing our freedoms and liberties. If the Lord tarries His return, America will become a Godless Totalitarian Communist Police State in the decades to come. I assure you of that!!!

As a I said, I like President Trump. I love his wit and laid back charm. It's about time that we had a man's man kind of guy in the White House, like Harry Truman and Theodore Roosevelt. I think Donald Trump is a cool guy! I really do. But when I see his so-called “conservative” judge on the U.S. Supreme Court rule to give more rights to the LGBTQ community, I do not see “GREATNESS” in our nation, I see “WICKEDNESS!” President John Adams was absolutely right, “We have not government armed with power capable of contending with human passions unbridled by morality and religion.” That is why the city of New York is now allowing the rioters to loot. Isaiah 3:12, “As for my people, children are their oppressors, and women rule over them.  O my people, they which lead thee cause thee to err, and destroy the way of thy paths.” In cities all across the United States, youth are rioting and oppressing their communities! This is a sign of a decayed and ungodly society. We are only as strong as a nation as our weakest link, which is our young people!!!

I can assuredly tell you that America will never be great again! The reason why is because the LGBTQ agenda is here to stay. There will never be a time again where homosexuality is a punishable crime in all 50 states, as it was in 1962. Doctor Nicholas Cummings was the former president of the American Psychiatric Association (APA), who admits decades later that his institution's decision to support homosexuality instead of treat it as a pathological illness, was completely based upon politics and not legitimate science! The medical science behind the LGBTQ agenda is a hoax! America “great” again? 

Proverbs 14:34, “Righteousness exalteth a nation: but sin is a reproach to any people.” American can never be great again until we become righteous again! SIN IS A REPROACH TO ANY PEOPLE!!! Hollywood's violence, immorality, blaspheming God, taking the Lord's name in vain, and all manner of wickedness has brought God's judgment upon our nation. One day China may attack the United States! I am firmly convinced that Revelation 18 describes the destruction of the United States. In just one hour (Revelation 18:10, 17 and 19), Babylon is annihilated by fire! That sure sounds like a nuclear attack to me! Look at what is going on in the city of Seattle. Homelessness and legalized drug abuse is epidemic. Narcotics are everywhere today! America “great” again? Our nation is in shambles! The Federal Reserve banks have been ripping off Americans since 1913, and our leaders are complicity to the evil. 

I am firmly convinced that President Trump will win re-election this coming November. I am also convinced that our nation is soon going to war, perhaps with Iran. Mr. Trump has said he will do something about North Korea. China is purported to be our nation's biggest threat, but I think we ourselves are our own worst enemy!

God knows that I am not a negative person, far from it. I am not a doom and gloom type of person. Some people are like the character Glum for The Adventures of Gulliver's Travels. Glum always said, “We'll never make it!” That reminds me of Judas, who betrayed Christ. Judas always saw the negative side of everything (John 12:3-5). I am the opposite, I look for a solution instead of complaining. My attitude is to never complain about anything, but to find a way to fix the problem! That is a godly attitude. Work first, play later. Always do right. People are broken, not bad. Never force anything. Life is too short to live with a burden of hatred. Let things go, Jesus said to: “Be of good cheer!” (John 16:33). Always be nice to everybody, because everyone is having a tough time. I live by these truths! 

Having said that, I want to believe that America could be “great” again. God knows my heart. Famous author Mark Twain (1835-1910) said: “Patriotism is supporting your country all the time, and your government when it deserves it.” That's a good quote. I do want our country to be great, very much so; but I am a realist, not an optimist. I look at the wicked spiritual condition of our nation, and the fraudulent Federal Reserve System, and the Satanic Masonic occult control over our nation, and the LGBTQ agenda which utterly destroys family values in every way, and the apostate condition of our churches and Bible colleges, and I weep as did Jeremiah the prophet. Lamentations 1:16, “For these things I weep; mine eye, mine eye runneth down with water, because the comforter that should relieve my soul is far from me: my children are desolate, because the enemy prevailed.” America is in big trouble on all fronts!

We read in Bible prophecy that the end times will worsen, not improve...

Matthew 24:37-39, “But as the days of Noe were, so shall also the coming of the Son of man be. For as in the days that were before the flood they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noe entered into the ark, And knew not until the flood came, and took them all away; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.”

2nd Timothy 3:13, “But evil men and seducers shall wax worse and worse, deceiving, and being deceived.”

2nd Timothy 3:1-5, “This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come. For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, Without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good, Traitors, heady, highminded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God; Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away.” 

I will finish with an amazing truth that I learned one day in the Scriptures...

1st Timothy 2:1-5, “I exhort therefore, that, first of all, supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks, be made for all men; For kings, and for all that are in authority; that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and honesty. For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Saviour; Who will have all men to be saved, and to come unto the knowledge of the truth. For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus;”

I had never noticed the connection between verse 5 (which is a popular Bible verse) with the first few versus about praying for our government leaders. 1st Timothy 2:5 teaches us that there is only one Mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus! The reason why we are commanded to pray for our leaders, is because Jesus is the One who has the final authority. Our God is still on His throne! As Christians, we understand that Jesus Christ intercedes between us and our government. Our government leaders in most cases are unsaved liberals, communists and atheists, but the Lord controls them. What saith the Scripture? Proverbs 21:1, “The king's heart is in the hand of the LORD, as the rivers of water: he turneth it whithersoever he will.” That is why we ought to pray, because God can preserve our liberties and freedoms. Isn't that a beautiful Bible truth? Sure it is!
